Khamrah Qahwa

Woah. I bought this and did NOT like it. It was one of my first fragrance purchases and since then I've smelled and tested a ton of different fragrances, I got deeper into parfums and expanded my palate so to say. Khamrah Qahwa smelled too sweet, a bit funky & cheap and the coffee note was too strong. I decided that I just did not like boozy fragrances, especially when I was left unimpressed after I smelled Kilian's Angel Share at an airport. BUT. I sprayed it again a couple of days ago. 9 months (!) after the purchase. And I was blown away. I sprayed it on some testers and went to lie down, about 10 feet away. After some minutes I smelled something heavenly that reminded me of a warm cup of rum at a german winter market on a cold night. I didn't realize it was this same Khamrah Qahwa that I was used to labeling a "miss" of a blind buy for all this time. Can you believe it?? It took 9 months to become good. Is that even possible??? Maybe it "became good" earlier than after these 9 months of maceration. In any case, I am a fan now. It does not smell cheap at all. BEAUTIFUL Vanilla/Tonka-Cinnamon-Praline scent with spices. The coffee note - now subtle and not overwhelming - adds a layer of maturity and masculinity that brings the whole parfum together to make it more well-rounded and not just a simple sweet n' boozy Arabian dupe. I could have never imagined that I would like this parfum, but wow, was I wrong. So I just had to write this review. If you have this; GIVE IT TIME, after several months it will get better. What an amazing "character development" storyline, haha!

THIS IS A SUBJECTIVE REVIEW**** This fragrance is straight up poo. It reminds me of this cake I had, and after I threw up. It tasted that bad.... Due to this, I cannot stand to smell this fragrance, it smells too sweet and heavy. I really enjoyed the original Khamrah, so I thought I would like this to hence I blindbought it. DO NOT BLINDBUY THIS FRAGRANCE. It's definitely more mature compared to the OG being overly sweet with a candle vibe. Good for the winter, I suppose but I will be selling my bottle ASAP.

A really strange smell. Starts with bubble gum mixed with coffee and vanilla then turns into full praline.

it smells like licorice with vanilla for me , strong licorice and way too sweet vanilla.

The opening smells like this gorgeous arroz con leche with cinnamon. The quality also feels like it could easily be part of the kilian brand but as its standalone perfume! It is so elegant and woody I love it

I love this, very classy and elegant, warm and heavy but smooth, very easy to overspray too. It seems that it lasts for ever and its notes are very easy to distinguish. Very calm, cozy and nostalgic.

Khamrah Qahwa is a great fragrance if you're into sweet coffee fragrances and looking for a great value. My feelings toward this fragrance it it's ok when compared to other fragrances in this scent family. Thousands of people enjoy this fragrance and the other Khamrah flankers so at the end of the day numbers don't lie but I will make the claim again that there are much better fragrances in this wheelhouse if you look further.

Ive only worn this fragrance one time since i bought it like 7 months ago, but that one time i wore it a really gorgeous latina told me i smelled really good and asked what i was wearing. it smells like a really delicious coffee to me, i like to spray it around the house but for some odd reason have only worn it once despite having real good luc kwith it . maybe i need to use it more

If you buy this PLEASE don't over spray it. Around 6 sprays is just enough, and this is coming from a person who loves to over spray. The scent profile is just crazy good. Cozy and creamy vanilla with a coffee edge almost like latte with a good amount of chocolate. Also really a nice syrupy type of scent that just makes it so addictive The longevity is straight up just ridiculous. You can easily get 12+ hours with projection that lasts 3+ hours. Scent profile: 10/10 (smells EXTREMELY high quality) Projection: 10/10 Longevity: 10/10 Price: 100/10 (I found mine for under 30 ) Uniqueness: 8/10 (if it wasn't for the coffee note it would've been lower) Compliment getter? Easily Overall rating: 10/10 Final thoughts: If you are looking for a cheap beast mode winter fragrance that actually smells good and is also unisex, Khamrah Qahwa is without a doubt a perfect choice. Another thing is that the bottle design and presentation is straight up HEAVENLY. BUT BEWARE DO NOT BLIND BUY THIS. Since its so sweet and unique I suggest buying a sample so you don't get your money wasted.

Don’t even read this, just buy it, it’s completely and utterly worth every single penny, it’s like finding a golden nugget on the ground.

Warning ⚠️ ⚠️ ⚠️ Dont spray more than 3 times lol very warm, nice, cozy winter perfume for special occasions, scent a lot heavier than the original khamrah. Longevity and projection are insane, and if i spray too much it becomes cloying. Overall nice, cheap fragrance thats relativelt mass appealing.

It's very sweet, definitely not something i'm used to. It's not something I would wear often, if I wear it it's probably a night out or walking in the city when it's cold. And for the price, you can't really complain.

You will smell like Yusef in chaiwala, as a girl don’t get this

It just smells like a manly Yara, unisex just means for men at this point. There is no coffee or spices or praline don’t be fooled.

I got this from a friend, and it was my first fragrence. I'll update my review once I try other fragrences, but I'm marking it down as a 4/5 for the moment. It's unbeatable for the price. The coffee and cinnamon are gorgeous, but I also get a bit of something else which is throwing me off.

This isn’t a gourmand. It smells like a cheap synthetic candle. For me this was a failed blind buy. Stay away.

This fragrance SUCKS its so bad. The longevity and projection is the only good thing about it. It smells like cheap synthetic unblended coffee and musk. First fragrance i have that i actually dont like. Unless you have smelled this before and you somehow like it. PLEASE dont buy it. Gives me headaches and i literally had to shower to get it off. 3.5/10 i hate it i hate it i hate it.

Candle, waxy scent. The opening is harsh alcohol. The heart notes is a waxy spiced candle. The base is a nice powdery scent. They say this is gourmand, this is not reminiscent of food.

When I first got this I honestly didn’t like the opening. It was just too sweet for me. The dry down was absolutely lovely though. Like the base notes are everything I was looking for. A year later the sweetness has toned down. It smells smoother and the praline and candied fruits aren’t so in my face. Looking forward to more wears with this come fall and winter. I’ll add I did get compliments when I wore it even when I didn’t like it so it is a good fragrance in the air and now up close imo. Solid 7.9/10

I just got this, it was a blind buy, and I'm very pleased. It's very much much "as advertised"; Spice, sweet, and just enough other ingredients to keep it sophisticated instead of craft-store. Basically all the warm spices of the holiday seasons, plus a nice vanilla coffee. The sweetness is more like apples in a potpourri, in a good way. So don't expect cinnamon candy like a red hot or cinnamon jolly rancher. I do think this could be unisex, but without the harsh herb or citrus that is in most mens scents. There is a slight boozy quality, but maybe almost nutty like Frangelico.

There is a particular note in this and in Khadlaj Fursan White,that smells like perfumed sweat! Like you are wearing an ambery scent in hot sun. yuck.cant stand it.

I think this fragrance is the best smelling one in my (Small) collection. When I first got it I thought it was pretty good, but as it aged it got better and better. Sometimes I'll just spray it for myself to just smell it. It smells slightly boozy (rum) on the opening and slowly becomes warmer as it dries down before settling into a slight syrup sweet roast coffee smell. Not like the drink, but more like if you added a bit of vodka in your morning espresso (weird i know). I love it.

I don't need to say much, i tested it at a mall and I couldn't get enough of the jacket i sprayed it on. I loved it when i first got it, but iv noticed its performance wasn't nearly as great as the one at the store, id blame either batch or maceration. I also think iv grown numb to it, I cant personally smell it after 30m of spraying, and no one can smell it by the time im out of the house, again batch or maceration.

Blind bought based on everyones review of it and unfortunately its not for me. I would say i dislike this fragrance. Its very sweet, synthetic, and lacking spice to me. The smell to me is exactly like those cinnamon apple air freshener sprays by glade, febreeze, or lysol for your house or bathroom. I also get what I’d describe as a burnt rubber smell from it. I think I’ll just use it as febreeze for my house!

Khamrah Qahwa will always be in my top 5! It was one of my first Middle Eastern perfume blind buys along with Eclaire. Upon first test it was only a like for me...I thought it needed something. So I sprayed Eclaire on top and I fell in love. So much so, that I no longer need to layer it. So of course, I purchased it's older sister, Khamrah. In comparing the two, I never picked up on the coffee note in Qahwa. Until one "comparison effort" day I got a MAJOR whiff of strong coffee. Total delight. I compare the two scents often, and since then my nose continues to deprive me of the coffee note as much. Anyone? It is still a darker, deeper version of Khamrah and I am forever smitten. It's strong too...

Be warned this is a very strong fragrance for warm weather , Its mass appeal is abt 6/10 in summer I kid you not halve the classroom was complaining so yeah it a nice natural smell to be honest

sure, it may smell alright in the air, but on skin? hell no! it has this sharp ammonia smell up close that is present in hair dye. and the best part? it stays on your skin forever… maybe its better on clothes🤷♂️
