Trash, srry just smeslls cheap oriental and it's chocking

Maybe it will grow on me and hopefully improve with time, but at the moment I'm not sold. I find it too smoky and ashy, especially in the beginning, reminds me a lot of smoked meat. It's not necessarily all bad, just I don't like it much. I think I found OG Raghba much more "digestible". Now I'm letting it sit in peace. Will update my review in the upcoming months!

This is an extremely underrated scent from lataffa and its one of my favourites. im on my second bottle!

Анонім★★★★★

This scent is choking you. Non wearable. It's not gonna get you any compliment. Literally burned wood with sugar. Stay away

Анонім★★★★★

An incredible buy at less than $10 this will arguably be the strongest fragrance you will find. Ambery incense, smoky wood and sweet caramel burnt sugar. Far from complex it's quite simple but what it projects it does very well and it's a beast. This fragrance does not leave your skin. It goes on and it stays on. On clothes I imagine it will be even longer. Perfectly suited for cold weather and evenings out this fragrance may seem a little dated but it's stands the test of time in longevity as it does on your skin... timeless

Анонім★★★★★

Toxic, acrid burning plastic......who doesn't want to smell like that?!

Анонім★★★★★

This is simply better than the OG Fireplace, it's much more wearable for me. And for the price, it's a banger, solid pick. Don't blind buy, try it if you can, but otherwise even if you blind buy it i don't think anyone would regret it, that is if you like woody sweet more masculine cozy winter type of scent.

Анонім★★★★★

Side by side with By The Fireplace it is BTF on steroids. One spray enough for eternity and yes ONLY ONE this is a beast fragrance. Not office safe but great for a cold winter night (by the fireplace). 10 of 10.

Анонім★★★★★

This is a cheap little gem. It was a no brainer, i added it to an order for only 15 euros extra. Love it for layering. For the price, you wont be expecting an Amouage tier incense perfume... It's smoky caramel and licorice and the first time you spray it may be a bit off putting because of how synthetic it feels. It comes across as sticky and burned. And it pretty much stays that way throughout, the sweetness just goes away and let's the smokiness come to the surface. You can easily find it annoying at some point as it overstays it's welcome, and there's a synthetic base that you can't just shake away when you notice it. (It's nowhere near By The Fireplace). Just get this if you're into sweet woody resinous perfumes. Even if you don't like it, it will make for a cheap and interesting experiment.

I dislike this one so far, just because the smoke note is far too strong. Sprayed on my upper arm and it projected so strongly, I had to wash it away. It didn't give up though, the scent was still there but much more mellow. That I could take and even enjoy a little bit. I'll see if the notes blend with time, this is no summer cologne anyway. Hoping that the smoke is toned down a bit, then I think it'll become really nice.

This smells like dry Tabacco and Smoke with burned wood. NOT a blind buy, and very very "Manly" no fuckboy frangrance Smell 7/10 Longevity 6/10 Sillage 5/10

This is the best cold weather fragrance that can be found for under $25 USD. Without a doubt. Wood Intense is a sweet and smoky Middle Eastern fragrance that maintains little to no similarities to the original Raghba. Aside from the incredibly friendly price tag this is truly a great fragrance. Wood Intense opens with a blast of sugary caramel and Middle Eastern incense smoke. After about 30 to 45 minutes it settles down and the guiac wood base really shows itself with the caramel blending with the incense in a way that resembles bukhoor incense. I've read reviews that considered Wood Intense to be a budget friendly alternative to By The Fireplace, honestly, I don't see the similarities. By The Fireplace is considerably less sugary to my nose. There really isn't a mainstream designer fragrance that I can say has a similar DNA to Wood Intense although for anyone who knows Middle Eastern incense and attar this fragrance will feel very familiar. I have received numerous compliments wearing Wood Intense and even have had a co-worker ask if I'd decant a small bottle for them as well. I wouldn't say Wood Intense is a work friendly fragrance but it really is such a delicious and comfy fragrance it may be worth trying on a Friday during the Holidays. After a few hot May days I woke up this morning feeling the chill in the air. Knowing that today would be the last day of the year where I could possibly pull off Wood Intense I sprayed it on and let it marinate throughout the day. For about the same price as a McDonalds meal you can get an incredible fragrance for winter that is not only sweet and smoky enough for nights out but also warm and cozy enough to be perfect for nights in. - 8/10 - Winter. Nights, Days - Location/Situation: Toronto, Canada, 7PM, November... The few weeks from Thanksgiving to Christmas have a special feeling. The air is crisp. The decorations break up grey and monotonous feeling of the city. The winter always feels colder once they take them down. - Song: I Am The Beyonder - Naxatras

This is a more masculine version of By the fire place and by ameer al oudh intense. Very nice scent , quality, performance and addictive. Most reachable for me. Not a blind safe fragrance

This fragrance took a surprising amount of patience to appreciate. Right out of the bottle, it honestly wasn’t very enjoyable—there was a sharp, slightly “off” quality to it that made it feel unbalanced for the first few months of maceration. But given time, it has transformed completely. Now that it has settled, Raghba Wood Intense has blossomed into a smooth, warm wood-vanilla scent that feels much more refined and cohesive. The rough edges have softened, and what used to smell like a jumbled mix of notes has turned into something well-blended and comforting. On my skin, I mainly pick up cedar, vanilla, and amber as the core structure. There’s a subtle sweetness that likely comes from the sugar and a faint licorice that gives it a slightly dark, resinous edge without becoming overly gourmand. I don't know what Guaiac Wood is or smells like and never saw it before but that's a note in there too. Overall, this feels like a cold-weather fragrance through and through—warm, dense, and a bit heavy for summer wear. I’ll be putting it away until the temperatures drop again, but I’m actually looking forward to revisiting it when the air gets colder. What started as a disappointing, confusing blend has turned into something smooth, warm, and genuinely enjoyable.

Wood, oud, and vanilla incense. I love all of those things so this is something I wear when I'm in the mood for all of that but in general it's not for me. My husband has used half the bottle though so he really likes it! You should definitely test it before buying it

Анонім★★★★★

Maybe it's just my copy, but when I first sprayed last year it was just okay. It was pretty cheap and first spray kind of reminded me of like balsa wood or something. It's been maybe a year later (a little less) and I LOVE this stuff. Like the sweet side of cedar, very dry, genderless to masculine, if that's how you label things. If you own it new and it's meh, give it time before you get rid of it. To be honest I'm finding a lot of these Lattafa blind buys need some time to sit actually. And this is my first review, thanks! EDIT: Forgot to mention it is an incredible earthy layering scent that lasts forever. I like it best on fabric/shirt, and great with Mohra (?), which is also fantastic, as I bought them together totally at random at a discount dept. store.

SHIT SMELLS LIKE BUG SPRAY MIXED WITH BATHROOM AIR FRESHENER

Ragbha Wood Intense is.... Raghba.. I was expecting something completely different. I didn't know what exactly because the reviews are so polarizing and varied. It is a bit darker and slightly (?) more masculine leaning, maybe.. Yes it has a slight licorice tinge and it's somehow thicker and more opaque. I do get the creme brulee on wood like somebody wrote. But I also get a lot of Raghba and it's raspberry oud vanilla scent. It isn't masculine in the barber shop way, which means it's wearable thankfully. But it is a lot. If you imagine a heavy dark, thick and intense Raghba - it takes a while to process. It also isn't smoky to me.. But probably too soon to review. Oh well :)

Анонім★★★★★

Instantly reminded me of burnt rubber and burnt sugar. Hard to wear. Worn it a few times to give a chance. In the end got rid of it.

Анонім★★★★★

This is a fantastic fragrance however this is NOT a dupe of by the fireplace as this actually was realised prior to BTF. It’s completely different. This is an original creation which I have never smell anything similar to before. The woods and the insense are the stars of show. when the fragrance matures the licorice becomes toned down. I’ve owned this for about a year now and initially I found the licorice accord too Strong however given the time, it has calmed down and has made the fragrance incredibly wearable. Oddly though I find the licorice note stands out more if sprayed on clothes as an opposed to when sprayed on skin the woods and the incense are extremely powerful together with the sweet nuances. I don’t agree that this fragrance is unisex, I feel like this is heavily masculine given the dark woods.

Анонім★★★★★

One thing I wanted while trying Raghba was a more woody version... so I was pleased when I found this. The scent itself is good, however the licorice is extremely strong. Insane longevity and projection, if I do any more than a single spray on my ankles or knees it gives everyone a headache. I think it really works well in the coldest months. It's good, but the strength turns me off.

Анонім★★★★★

Smells like someone set a cow patty on fire and snuffed out the flames with dollar store incense, only to let it slow burn for all of humanity to witness the pure evil of the world. Threw mine away.

Анонім★★★★★

Dense, smoky and woody....usually always works for me. But this one didn't. I love the original Raghbah and was maybe expecting too much from this version. To me it just stank too much of burnt liquorice and burning tree bark resin. I utterly despise liquorice since childhood and this core belief bias immediately made the conclusion for me that I will truly HATE this and so i promptly returned it to sender. If you want a darker, deeper Raghbah, layer under it with a deeper basenote heavy fragrance...maybe with something like Terre De hermes/Encre Noir etc...just don't get this (unless you want to smell like burnt liquorice)

Анонім★★★★★

This thingy for its price has an absolutely great performance. The sad thing is.. it's really not for everyone. Luckily for me, i love licorice and agar (oud). Imagine you're in a forest walking past chopped down logs and you can smell the pine tree sap around you, but it's like very sweet too. That's how it smells when it dryes down. In the opening i mainly feel the masculine and very sweet licorice and i absolutely love it! It really takes me back into my childhood when i was buying those licorice stick sweets as a kid. Not mass appealing, as most of people find it too harsh or smoky. Most likely the same hate, that Maison Margiela By the Fireplace is getting.. "It smells like something burning". Very masculine, very smoky and heavy.. BUT UNIQUE.. You'll surprise people with this scent for sure. I love the scent, but I don't feel like it suits me. Cannot really find a good opportunity to wear this.

Анонім★★★★★

Smells very much like a campfire with caramel poured on top (if that makes sense). It punches you in the face with it’s sugary sweetness right out of the gate, but after 30-60 minutes it settles down into a woodsy, smoky, and slightly less sweet scent profile. The dry down is much more pleasant than the opening imho. I wouldn’t say it’s absolutely blind buy safe, but 75% of people will probably enjoy the fragrance. For $15 it’s definitely worth a shot if you’re on the fence. Not for work/indoor settings, and is somewhat limited in its versatility as it’s more catered towards nights out, date environments, or just anything outdoorsy. Appropriate for cold weather only. Very solid performance. PS For anyone complaining about the scent profile of middle eastern fragrances upon first spraying them out of the box, please keep in mind that you need to let the bottle sit for a while. Spray it a handful of times and then just put it away for a few weeks or even months. Sometimes the longer you let it sit the better it gets.

Анонім★★★★★

A hidden gem, sweet warm woody middle eastern winter fragrance with a licorice note. Cheap as a value, niche as quality. Yet it's hard to be used outdoors as it's outdated & Khaliji . But I find myself use it indoors or smell the bottle every now or then.

Анонім★★★★★

Probably my favorite Lattafa offering. Definitely underrated. However it makes me sick when I wear it for some reason Not sure if this is a clone of oud wood, but it's certainly similar. Also somewhere in the halloween man x ballpark You get a very realistic wood note here with chocolate, vanilla, and spices. It's listed as a caramel note but it comes across as chocolate. And it also is similar to dark coffee. The licorice note gives it a spicy vibe, which is a great nuance to an already good smelling fragrance The blend is nice. For the price this one is pretty darn good Would shine in the colder weather. Date night scent. Sweet, seductive, somewhat dark, resiny, and liquorish. Overall very nice All ages would wear it well. Again strictly date night out on the town setting Performance is too strong though. It’s just thick and dense and strong and like toxic. Which is my only issue with it. It's overwhelming to wear and Lattafa uses lower quality ingredients so it's headache inducing and I get sick whenever I wear it 😕 scent-7/10 value-5/10 quality of ingredients-3/10 versatility-4/10 performance-8/10 overall-5/10

I tend to dislike sweet, gourmand, vanillic perfumes. They are EVERYWHERE. They seem to me to be as lazy attempts to get a share of a market of mostly youngsters in which most have been over exposed to vanillin, artificial sweeteners and flavors, and sugary treats as part of a diet full of processed and non-natural stuff. Something to make more palatable a grayish, drab, and cubicle-9-to-till-finished to poor young guys trying to make a living in the hellish corporate world. After-hour parties included. Sorry. I cannot forgo this mental association. Having said that, this heavily vanillic scent -which in theory I should not like at all- does not recall that. It suggests to me a cabin in the woods, a log fire, and a brandy after a créme brulée on a cold and lazy night, with my wife lovingly cuddling by my side — a kind of experience I wish to everyone. Plus, it lasts for ages and it is a projection monster: beware! This one is inexpensively beautiful. Lovely. That's it.

Evander Holyfield in a bottle, very woody and projects like a beast specially in a cold -7 winter here in Sweden. I mix it with a Ombre Nomade oil and it just punches threw the cold 🥶 🪵🌹

Prepare yourselves for the least helpful fragrance review ever... If you read through the reviews for this fragrance, it can get a bit confusing. Some say it is super sweet. Some say it is super smokey. Some say it is quite rich and feminine. Some say it is intensely woody and masculine. Some say it smells like a church and/or a burning stick of incense. Some say it smells of burnt caramel. Some say it is headache-inducingly strong. Some say it is disappointingly mild. Some say it smells like a sauna. Some say there was nothing ever said that was as ridiculous as saying it smells like a sauna. Well, here's the thing-- ALL the reviews are correct, even the ones that seem contradictory. In my wearing experience with this fragrance, I have found all the statements above to be true depending on the occasion and the stage of the fragrance's duration on my skin. At first blush, Raghba Wood Intense seems like a fairly simple fragrance, but it moves and changes throughout the wear time. I have thought it to be annoyingly sweet at times. But, then again, I have found it very woody and dry at other times in the same wearing. I have caught the burnt sugar note every so often. Other times, it is totally lost on me. I have often thought that it is much more mild that the reviews lead me to expect. At other times, I have wished I had reduced the sprays because it just would not leave my nose alone. And, yes, I have even occasionally caught a waft of sauna from this fragrance. So, in all this beautiful mess, let's try to sort things out. Would I recommend it? Conditionally, yes (see below) What DOES it smell like? Again, that is difficult to quantify. I think every nose will encounter RWI differently. Here is my best attempt to describe my experience. It smells like you have walked into an old, active sauna and have found it occupied by a person who is burning a few sticks of incense (for some reason) and wearing a good amount of something like Lattafa Khamrah. The first thing to notice is the sweetness (which does have a touch of a burnt sugar quality, but just a touch). There is a very dry woodiness which undulates throughout the wear time and DOES, to my nose, occasionally smack of sauna. There is a good deal of incense. In fact, what I notice the most for the longest time is the incense. BUT, I would not call this a "smokey" fragrance. To me, "smoke" is something that evokes wood fires. Incense is, well, a whole different animal. What does it NOT smell like? From the reviews of this fragrance, I was expecting something that would make me smell like I had been to a campfire. Now, I have sat around many, many campfires in my lifetime. The smell of a campfire on the cool breeze is one of my all-time favorite aromas. RWI is NOT campfire-- at least not to my nose. It is very sweet, very dry, and very heavy with incense. In fact, the incense is what saves this fragrance for me in that it reminds me of spending time with my brother who used to often burn incense in his apartment. So, who should buy this? Buy this if you want something with the sweetness of Khamrah but with an added kick of woods and incense that makes it stand a part. Still, the over-all impression is something pretty Khamrah-like. Who should NOT buy this? If you are trying to avoid fragrances where "sweet" is a dominating characteristic, don't buy it. If you are someone wanting a legit smokey fragrance, don't buy it. If you want the "campfire and marshmallows" effect, don't buy this. In summary, this is a good fragrance. It is pleasing to many. It is inexpensive. It is pretty unique (sort of). It goes through interesting stages during the wear-time. It is long lasting. It's just not quite what I was expecting, but how could have reasonably expected anything specific from a fragrance that is different from nose to nose, and even moment to moment.
