charming, green and fresh, with a cozy texture...luxurious
This has Chanel Egoiste Platinum vibe to me…
Green & Aromatic Cedar and Sandalwood, the opening can be to difficult to some people but nothing strange or bad some powdery, green and floral notes, I really liked, the dry down is very awesome, nice Sandalwood, Cashmere and Cedar combo, the sillage is good but not amazing, 7-8 hours of longevity. A signature scent or just a daily scent but is to overpriced.
Smells oddly similar to Ink Mark + a touch of Stellar Times, same calm homey kind of scent, though I prefer this over that, and its a bit fresher with a slight hint of green.
I’m have 20/100ml bottle full press I’m looking to sell :)
Idk if this was made in a pickle jar but it sure smells like it was, I don't like it, smells like a burger with like ginger
Beautiful scent that works all year long. For me specifically it won’t last as long as my other LV perfumes, and won’t radiate as much. I still enjoy this perfume though.
This is a bit too green for me, opening notes stick around for a while and they remind me a lot of Philosykos. Can’t see the resemblance to Santal 33 at all.
Citrus and floral opening, then it dries down to an aromatic sandalwoody, lovely scent. The dry down is where this really shines.
It opens quite green. I find it a bit hard to describe the opening but honestly, woody and green notes are very dominant here. To me, this is the weakest part of the fragrance -and it’s not even bad. From the mid-notes onwards, this scent goes absolutely crazy. When I first saw "solar notes" in the pyramid, I thought, "What kind of nonsense is this? :D" But as it settles, you genuinely get the aroma of a beautiful fabric warmed by the autumn sun, accompanied by a gorgeous creamy accord. It wraps your skin in cozy warmth, yet that initial greenness and freshness still linger subtly in the background. This fragrance is pure olfactory engineering. I’ve smelled almost the entire Louis Vuitton line, and Lovers, alongside Imagination, sits right at the absolute top for me.
The first of the LV scents I think I can say I truly "like". I would actually wear this one. It's mostly wood, with a fresh citrus/ginger backdrop helping it along. Unlike some other LV scents, the florals are pushed pleasantly far into the background, almost peppery. This one isn't a firm "love" by any means, and not necessarily a buy either, but is a straightforward and pleasant fragrance I could happily wear many times and places. I could buy it...more a matter of "Is there something similar to it, I like even more?", and the answer could very well be yes.
Smells Like a middle between L'immensite and Ink Mark. Safe inviting sorta musky shower gel like scent. Not bad, just not that wowing.
The name doesn't seem fitting here was my biggest surprise; it leans very masculine woody. Green accords ride the top (which is where I think the pickle stems). The top & base notes closely layer yet seem individual. Once you get the upfront green herbs, it closely flows into the sandalwood and cedar. The ginger helps keep this overall fresh uplifting. Then the usual, smooth edges as LV colognes are. 8.5/10 for a green-herbal woody scent
This is much more like a bohemian abercrombi Fierce with the synthetics turned way down than santal 33/gris charnel etc. absolutely no Iris or fig idk what people are smelling. A nice easy going daily wear for spring, a little rugged but also uplifting. Reminds me of the outdoors while still being wearable. Top 3 from the house imo
Those who say it smells like pickled cucumbers should see an ENT specialist as soon as possible. I fell in love with this scent. Excellent.
I don't get the Gris Charnel (or Liam) or Santal 33 comparisons at all. This scent has sandalwood but the galbanum takes it in a totally different direction. Reminds me of the 2000s.
Compliment monster, let the rest wear imagination, this is top 🔥
Not sure on this one it's a little too green for me may be it will grow on me. I get where people say it smells like dill pickles. Glad I got a 10ml tester first So not much money down the drain. I had high hopes for this too.
Quite possibly the best perfume I own and my current favorite for the last year. Ive never gotten so many complements on a scent before from both men and women. Its light, its airy but its noticeable and very luxurious. IMHO, its a unisex scent. If you are looking for a scent that is loud, or is in any way demanding attention- this isnt the perfume for you. Its best point is in its subtlety. Yes, there are many sandalwood perfumes. Yes, there are better performers, but what sets this perfume apart is the blend of ginger and Im assuming "solar notes" because I dont know what the f that is, but its something Ive never experienced in a scent before. Its a very green take on sandalwood. In my quest to finding a scent identical to Lovers but with better projection/winter performance, Ive tested the majority of the "similar to" section. Its either completely different, lower projection/lasting power - or wishful thinking. The only one that smells similar is santal33 - which Im going to purchase. I dislike the opening papyrus note but it fades quick. Its similar in projection and lasting power imho, to me, its a Lovers sibling, along with santal blanc by VCA. Smells **nothing** like: Symphony, games of spades opal, Liam Lattafa, niche emerati antique, gris charnel, gris charnel extrait, massimo dutti iris irresistible, odyssey by mith bangkok, moncler pour homme, 6 place sant sulpice by ysl. really mildly similar: autumn vibes Margiela Very Similar: Vilhelm dear lord, Santal 33 (dry down identical), Santal blanc VCA (a feminine take on it) Im hoping LV releases a stronger version of this (not likely) or atleast make a larger bottle or one of those travel kits. Its an amazing scent; I just wish it projected/lasted a tiny bit longer but Im very satisfied with the performance.

Smells like a nice cozy peppermint initially
A lively and fresh ginger, slightly salty and aquatic and a bit earthy scent. Later it calms down a bit and gets melancholic. I think I really love ginger, I realized that once again. The heavy hitter here is cedar. The entire composition is very serious, with the green and woody feel in the foreground. One side gives a dryad, wood elf, forest fairy feel, while the other side gives an ironed white shirt feel. Liked it overall. During my Bodrum trip I tried it alongside Pacific Chill, chose this one and wanted it to stay on me. It went really well with the sea breeze. I understand the comparison to Santal 33, because the sandalwood that becomes prominent in the drydown inevitably brings it to mind. Tag(s): woody, fresh but melancholic, sea-forest, ironed shirt
Smells like pickle, hard pass.
Creamy sandalwood. I literally don't have anything else to say lol.
Out of the whole line this and imagination were the most interesting to me. I don't get that dill pickle smell at all and really liked the dry down.
It is woody and masculine, but it doesn't do anything special for me. There are a lot of masculine cedar-sandal combo in the market and this one does not really stand out. I think L'immensite would be a better choice if you are looking for a classic masculine scent. Too woody, and too green for my taste. 7/10
Green in a way I haven't smelled before. The green in it is the green you get from freshly cut vegetables. It got some slight sweetness, all sits on top of a wood shop - fresh cut cedar, with creamy sandalwood. Opens up like freshly cut veggies, The heart is a wood shop. The drydown has an almond-soapy kind of feel. People that saying it smells like Santal 33 are reaching. This one is more "close to nature" (smells like walking down a trail in the woods on a spring day). It is a good fragrance, but I dont know if it is worth it for me at the price. It is definitely one of the more niche and creative LV's.
ADDICTING, SPECIAL, UNIQUE. This is my 3r review here. Can’t stop smelling my self. I LOVE YOU.
Slight pickle/vegetal vibes from the galbanum and sandalwood mixture. Powdery and balsamic and green and woody. Not my cup of tea.
