Sticky Dates

Doesn't get more gourmand than this. Like all Lush Body Sprays the initial spray is straight rubbing alcohol, but you just have to let it settle. It is extremely sweet and syrupy but in a good way. In my opinion it is not an exact replicated scent of their original body wash (which I was bummed about because the body wash scent was my favorite) but it is close enough to enjoy. This scent can be a hit or miss with some people though so I highly recommend smelling in person first and trying it on your skin before you buy.

This smells sickening to me. Overwhelming synthetic baked good smell. Maybe just not for me.

this is a GOURMAND, bold all-caps emphasised. very GOOD if you like gourmands, really hyperrealistic sweet smells. and it is POWERFUL. so you must like gourmands- must must must. and you must not be afraid to fill a room or a bus for that matter with your chosen stench. if you do not like gourmands, i can better bottom dollar that another perfume may suit you better. if you do not like strong, i can bet the same. for the most part i find that most smellers can agree on the scent (toffee, brown, caramel, sweet, sticky, dates...) so it all comes down to preference. you know yourself

It’s very sweet and caramel. So edible and delicious, but warning that if you are wearing a white shirt you will certainly get a brown splotch

this reads very end of summer-early fall to me. its what your fingers smell like after eating a smore. quite syrupy but i also get a salty note almost

I thought I was a Sticky Dates hater after having smelled it once in the store. It was overwhelming and sickeningly sweet. And then, my partner bought me a bottle, and I am in love. Yes, this is extremely strong in the opening, but once you give it a chance to sit, it is insanely delicious. I usually am nauseated by gourmands but this is so perfectly done. I always spray this on my skin and it makes me smell like I am naturally exuding caramel. This is also the most longlasting body mist I've ever tried, and easily outperforms many of my EDPs. I am seriously obsessed with this scent right now.

This perfume reminds me of a body lotion you would use after a shower. It's nice, but not my fav. Probably a body spray I would put on before bed in my room, but I personally wouldn't wear it out.

girls - this smells like a monin coffee syrup. I enjoy this but it is very sticky and sweet smelling, sometimes too sweet. I feel like there is some musk/richness, but it fades pretty quick. TBH I love her as a bedtime scent, but would not recommend wearing in the heat or in a professional setting. Maybe during sweater weather, but this one does not do well in the heat.

Sticky Dates is an unapologetically straight caramel icecream. It lasts surprisingly well for a body spray and layers beautifully with vanilla, milk fragrances. If you love smelling like caramel icecream, Sticky Dates is hard to beat. The one I have has been sitting since 2023, it is so strong and yum.

As someone who loves GOURMAND,not just gourmand but GOURMAND perfumes I think this is the most delicious body spray i've ever had. It is incredibly suffocating but if layered correctly you're gonna smell like an caramel toffee. The lasting power is actually insane for a body spray,which is understandable for lush since they make the best body sprays. However I wouldn't wear this anywhere, the sweetness of it can make people sick,3 sprays are acceptable. 10/10 for me.

Smells cheap & like alcohol…

idk man i really hyped myself up for that one and at first i was actually impressed by its enormous sillage and projection however after a few months the smell turned into something weird something very harsh and chemical and don’t get me wrong i love harsh stuff but that one was offensive the dates and woody smell that i enjoyed turned into a weird old forgotten werther’s original with artificial sweeteners make that info what u want

Es igual al caramelo Toffee. Muy rico y empalagoso, comestible. Me encanta lo gourmand. Sólo que es algo más bien lineal, entonces si buscas algo que evolucione, no habrá necesariamente algo profundo. Pero no significa que sea aburrido. A mí me gusta mucho!

Straight up caramel smell. Most realistic caramel smell. Absolutely disgusting. If you wear this around me, I might pass out honestly

Dates are naturally VERY sweet, and this fragrance captures that sweetness so well. It leans heavily into the caramel note, but it's not caramel because dates have that rich, sticky sweetness. To me, it smells more like dates turned into a fragrance. 🤎🌴 This is definitely a heavy gourmand. If you love rich, sugary scents, I think you'll enjoy it. But personally, I do find it a little too sweet and a bit overpowering at times. It's not something I reach for every day, I usually wear it only when I'm specifically in the mood for a bold gourmand fragrance. Overall, I think Lush did a really great job with this one. The name couldn't be more accurate. If your dream scent is warm, sticky, date-like sweetness, Sticky Dates is absolutely it.

It's simply disgustingly sweet, smells like you left a bunch of fruits in a hot car for a week. It's a scent that stays in your nose for hours making you nauseous, please don't ever wear this in public...

So sweet it smells like maple syrup

I blind bought this a few months ago because I love gourmand scents and it did not disappoint! I had to go back to order the bigger bottle. Very sweet and can be layered with so many other sprays.

My favorite dessert is sticky toffee pudding, which is warm, heavy, and loaded with dates. I blind-ordered Demeter’s “Sticky Toffee Pudding” a while ago, and even though it’s as accurate as can be, the lasting power is ZERO. The body oil is good, though… speaking of which, Demeter’s body oil goes really well with this absolute winner of a gourmand from Lush. Yep, Sticky Dates is a suffocating gourmand. I’m not even into gourmands as much as I used to be, but I’m loving this one just for the dessert/layering aspect. Oh, and the lasting power is some kind of wizardry; this is a scent you’ve got to commit to for the day!

ugh.... yuck.... very synthetic caramel, and dense stickyness. Went straight to the sink to scrub it off my hand in the shop. caramel note and my skin does not go along well.....

In the beginning it's heavy but after a few minutes I get some kind of fresh note. Its gourmand, thick date syrup and also a bit fresh and airy vanilla. Like a vanilla cloud. Very well blended and yummy 😋👌

I think I can smell this through walls

This is a scrubber! Sprayed it on my hand and instantly felt sick it's so incredibly sweet it literally feels sticky and a little unwashed to me I cannot stand this! Starting to understand I am simply not a gourmand girl at all

Okay, this is SOO overhyped, but I do actually enjoy it for fall. I don't get a lot of the sweetness people are mentioning, and the woodiness comes out a ton with my body chemistry, which is like 95% of what I smell. The best way I can explain it is that to me it smells like what outside smells like during fall/autumn so it's kind of cozy. Woody and leaves with a hint of caramel, like someone's making caramel popcorn and you get a whiff of it in the air. I sampled this & Super Milk, and this one was honestly a letdown. Super milk was a lot yummier, and I don't even like lemon. Also, this is the ugliest bottle I've literally ever seen.. will definitely need to rebottle these.

someone i despise wears this and it doesn't make me like them any more... but yeah it literally smells like toffee/caramel dates. it's also very cloying (like most good quality caramel scents), so pls don't spray this in public. overspraying isn't needed as lush scents have nice sillage/longevity

As a gourmand lover I get it, but why? WHY would you want to smell like pure sweet burnt caramel? This is just way too much. I also smell some coffee in it.

This used to leave such a loud trail. New bottle is very weak. Sad. I had the bottle form the first release. It was more soapy too like the body scrub. Now it smells better but very weak
