Missoni Parfum Pour Homme

Inspired alternative to Bleu de Chanel EDT + EDP. I've not been in the fragrance game long, but when asked by people even newer of suggestions to start for clean versatile scents I do like to point them on Missoni Wave and Missoni Parfum as they cover so much ground. The Parfum opens with a BDC EDT styled pink grapefruit and lemon, adding a sprig of lavender. Into the heart and base it more closely matches BDC EDP with a somewhat spicy ginger, jasmine, and apple combo which evolves into oak, smoky birch, and musky sandalwood. I think the Missoni Parfum is better for beginners, swapping out the incense for a lighter fougere twist. Chances are if you enjoy it, you'd love BDC and can spring for a bottle of that when ready or just grab another Missoni because it's really nice.

A DARK CLEAN CITRUS Aug 1, 2026 edit: ok I ordered a backup 100ml for under €30 as I hear it's discontinued... I found out that I love the dark citrus scent & it's pretty versatile; I'm using this more than others that I thought I liked more. As the scent finally disappears this will leave your skin smelling great & clean, unlike arab dupes that often leave nasty metallic/ egg/ pickle/ or my least favorite musty 'amber' scent. May 28, 2026, first imp: It does last 6-8hrs (my work shift with moderate movement). Reminds of BDC but this one has a sharper Lemon+ Lavender combo that overpowers the Soap+Incense combo which the latter I believe is what makes BDC so successful. Still a better option than Blue Iconic which is 95% BDC for 30 minutes then turns into rotten lemon. I love the magnetic cap and the 30ml bottle is so fun (I usually buy 100mls)

Me encanta, sirve para cualquier estación. Mas bien para el dia que para la noche. El aroma me gusta bastante la verdad, se siente presente mientras dura. La veo ideal para trabajar, no va a molestar y tiene una buena duración aunque no es proyectona. No entro a valorar si se parece a talmo cual perfume porque no creo.en los clones pero puede tener un aire a BDC pero más suave Missoni. La compraba en Notino y ya está descontinuado por parte de Missoni. Una pena la verdad. Al igual ocurre con su hermana Wave. Espero que Missoni saque un nuevo perfume en esta linea que muchos se lo vamos a agradecer. Mi nota en relación calidad precio es un 8.5. Saludos.

This scent smells like a hybrid of BDC & Creed Himalaya. it leans a bit more to himalaya's side in my opinion. when compared to BDC side by side, this missoni smells a bit more fruity and sweet while BDC is more soapy and more aromatic. for the price, this is an excellent fresh easy scent with good lasting performance.

@ForeverProjected "Le parfum" is not a concentration. It's a name of the flanker. Concentrations are edc, edt, edp, parfum etc. Take a look at the Le Beau Le Parfum, it says edp intense on the bottom and Le Parfum is just the name. Same as with this fragrance, it's edp even though it says parfum. I find this misleading and this naming should be banned

A nice opening if a bit generic. Fades to a rather subtle dry down. Easy to become nose-blind to because it is so subtle and clean, but it does actually last 4-5hrs on my skin. Kind of the perfect office fragrance imo. Inoffensive, hard to over spray, pleasant scent even if somewhat forgettable, and above all, currently very cheap (I paid $24 for a 100ML tester). For the price point, this is also a very nice bottle imo. Good atomizer and magnetic cap with some weight to it.

This is a perfume that proves "a perfume can be really good without being expensive" my friends. I have never smelled BDC, so i can't say anything about the similarity. But the batch i have from 2021, has a label that says "Volume %77"( %77 alcohol, %23 essence). You know what that means? This is nearly around "Le Parfum" concentration in the market. The funny thing is, this perfume %50-60 cheaper then Le Parfums. It may require moderate application on skin/clothes, when i wear this perfume, people generally thinks i own a luxury brand perfume. Also this perfume is getting noticed easily. For the longevity, i can smell it all day as a skin scent. But the projective longevity is not that good, i assume it is 2-3 hours. And also, projection distance is moderate.

This is one of the best designers for the price, and it's unfortunate it's being discontinued. Opens with a moderately sweet citrus accord, with a soft, soapy, ambery background and a light, warm, incense-smelling accord. The hints of lemon and the soft ambery sweetness reminds me strongly of CAHS Edition Blanche or Amaran Kafu. It has some of that lemon pie-like scent, especially in the opening. Mostly though, Missoni Pour Homme is in that citrus-soapy-smoky DNA like BDC, but what it really smells like to me is Prada's Luna Rossa Ocean EDP. I'm surprised the Prada hasn't been mentioned or voted as similar more, since Missoni PH smells almost exactly like it, just more lavendery; whereas BDC is more of a grapefruit-melon-incense. Missoni and Prada both have that same grapefruit-soapy-powdery-amber-smoky vibe. Performance is modest — 1.5-2hrs of arms-length projection, lasts 5-6hrs on my skin. Dries down to a clean linen, musky scent. For the price, this is a fantastic, polished designer fragrance; and is a great designer alternative to Luna Rossa Ocean EDP, BDC EDP, or even CAHS Edition Blanche. Smells great overall, and is safe for all seasons/occasions. Definitely grab a bottle while you still can. ✅Great

About a year ago, I got a decant of Missoni Parfum Pour Homme, and I honestly wasn't impressed. It smelled too generic.But yesterday I sprayed it on again and it completely blew me away how amazing it smells. I immediately ordered two 100 ml bottles. It also has excellent longevity and projection. 10/10

much better than BDC & for the record I don’t think they smell as similar as most will say. Cleaner, more approachable lavender focused. This lacks the spiced ginger/incense/grapefruit.

This perfume deserves much more attention, easy to wear, unpretentious, clear, stable. To simplify, if you are a person, especially a man, who is confident in himself, who does not wear it on himself but emits it from himself, then you are the right person to turn this scented water into a magical water.

It's nice, especially for the price. I haven't owned any variant of BDC in a while, so I can't tell you how close it is to any of them, but it's a nice blue fragrance. To my nose, there's a citrusy opening with a really soapy undertone. Projection is pretty good for about 2 to 3 hours, then it settles into a little stronger than intimate skin scent. Longevity is pretty good. I get around 6 hours. Between this and Missoni Wave, I pretty much have the "dumb reach" category covered. I see people saying it's forgettable but still nice and that sums it up. There's nothing special about it. It's a typical blue freshie with decent performance, but you'll always smell great when wearing it. I think i paid $35ish for it. At that price, it's a really safe blind buy for an office-safe/gym-safe scent.

Perhaps only the opening here is similar to bdc edt, but it seems I’m the only one who thinks this is more like LV l’immensite, I could tell it is on my first impression, then I came in to look at the notes and indeed it turns to be a similar ginger grapefruit oriental fougere style. Great discovery, I’m already fetching in a couple of backup bottles as its getting discontinued

Smells like Armaf Legassi (Platinum Egoiste dupe) and some BDC EDP mixed in. Not really for me, I get the appeal though. Just thought the comparison may help someone.

Superb fragrance. Has depth, has quality, has performance. It's fresh and aromatic in the start and dries down to something a bit more...dark, sofisticated, mature, but still a freshie. It does have tendancy to smell a bit like expensive hotel soap. But with a lot of depth to it. It's really good.

BDC profile ( same neighborhood different street ), EDP performance, and middle eastern fragrance prices. This and Wave are fragrance no trainers for anyone getting into the fragrance game. They are versatile, mass appealing, and you can spray as much as you want because the price is truly amazing. Add to that nice presentation and a magnetic cap and this is legendary Profile 7.5 , performance 8 , and price/ value 10 ….

It's been discontinued, goodbye to my favourite BDC alternative.. so many compliments from this bad boy

Does this fragrance need time. I had a 10ml sample of this and whenever I sprayed it, it left a strong scent bubble around me. After opening my 100ml bottle it seems very weak with non of the strong citrus my sample had.

I may have a bad batch/bottle but this is bad. Heavy synthetic/ambroxan, lemon and lavender smell. Dries down to an ambroxan, lemon mess similar to deodorant spray. Nothing close to BDC - stay away from this.

Very nice. Citrusy on the opening with aromatic and woody undertones. On dry down they swap places

It's kind of a twist on Bleu de Chanel . It completely lacks the finesse and elegance of BDC. It seems like they tried to add their own twist, but unfortunately missed what makes BDC so special, the sandalwood, incense, and powdery base. I feel like this is the pitfall every too good to be true "BDC killer" falls into. They all miss that outstanding drydown even if they are able to capture most of the rest of the essence in the top and mid notes. The end result is that this is just a boring generic men's freshy. It's probably the most generic fresh scent in my whole collection. Meh out of 10 59/100

Edit: my previous review of this was not very constructive; i said it smelt like burnt hair and wet hair originally. After some serious thought, i realise it smells like perming lotion.

Very nice blue fragrance, it feels more expensive that what it actually is, the qualityis superb. I wouldn't say it's a BDC clone, same dna but different style, this one feels a bit fresher, more easy going. Perfect everyday scent

This is a truly great fragrence, especially for the price. It's fresh but not shower gel fresh. Woody without smelling heavy. This is a perfect all season fragrence, it can definitely work in winter. I've never smelled Bleu De Channel so I have no frame of reference on that front. For like $40 you're getting a great fragrence with great presentation. If you could only get 1 fragrence and you don't want to spend lots of money, this is your scent.

Smells like average soap

My coach said I smelled like a Hollister. That kind of made me hate this fragrance. In my opinion, there are better options for the price. However, it isn't a bad fragrance. It is clean, smooth, and light and citrus-heavy. Perfect for the gym.
