Every Montale and Mancera fragrance is therapeutic. You put it on, and it instantly brings harmony and peace in your whole being. This one is no different. The only problem is that if you want to use it in the office, you really need to go easy with the spray button, because those perfumes hit hard. Only a teeny tiny spray is more than enough. Other than that, you get magic in a bottle.

Everything I expected and more!

I really wanted to love this. It’s not a bad scent but it smells like dryer sheets. I’ve had it for over a year, hoping the scent would change with time but it still smells like fabric softener/dryer sheets. I’ll use it as a room spray.

Lovely! It’s the simplest way to put it. But it’s really just so lovely I want to douse myself in it all day! The Tiare flowers persists all throughout, and somehow does not get overpowered by the Ylang-ylang, Jasmine, and Rose notes. This reminds me of island flowers in full bloom, where amalgamation of smells from various flowers fill the air. The vanilla and coconut notes added the perfect amount of sweetness and creaminess to the overall profile. I cannot emphasize enough how perfectly blended this juice is. It is indeed linear, but there’s no need for any development if it’s already perfect from the very beginning! Not only does it smell amazing, the performance is also eternal! It envelopes you in a wide bubble of goodness! It unleashes its full potential during warm spring/summer days. It easily lasts me 10+ hours on a warm day, but it’s everlasting on clothes. I find that it layers well with other coconut and floral scents, such as Mancera Coco Vanille. I absolutely love this!

goddd i’ve been constantly wearing this and i’m still confused by some people in forums and review saying that it’s linear, boring, and no personality but this fragrance has a lot of depth. it’s mostly white floral at first but it can totally translate as soapy musky lotion-y coco powder, then develops to something warm, milky, and vanillic but not sugary sweet, then it dries down to something fluffy, whipped, and doughy like an edible sunscreen cake with rafaello nuances. You get the best of everything !! It’s perfume-y, it’s not too mature, not too juvenile, not too gourmand, not too sweet, not too creamy, not too suffocatingly floral, not too spf-y. You can dress it up, dress it down, and can be worn !! All. The. Time. and idk what else but to put it simply it’s beautifully balanced. This is soooo good 😭 like SOOOOO good. If u had the same problem like me, which i found coco vanille to be a coco sugar bomb, then pleaseee please just get this. if ur looking for a more lactonic fragrance tho, coco van or holidays might be better for you !!

I had a hard time choosing between intense tiare, coco vanille, and holidays but I'm glad i trusted my gut and went with this one. My problem was coco vanille was too sugary sweet, so i thought i'd give its sibling holidays a try in the hopes of liking it better but as i read more reviews regarding holiday, people said it's basically the same milky coco vanille with an added salty sea accord, so i kinda doubted whether i should rlly get it or nottttt, that's when i saw intense tiare and trusted my gut to just ditch holidays. best decision ever lol intense tiare is coco vanille but sugar-free !! it has all the facets i'm looking for in a beachy fragrance. it's creamy and milky in a white floral + coconut way, it's naturally sweet, has a bit of silky sunscreen vibe, and overall fabulous. another bonus is that I rlly found myself liking white florals lately and i mean in an old-schoolish way bc i badly wanna smell like someone's glamorous granny in the chic-est cathedral ever lmao and that vibe is quite there with intense tiare. specifically, i'm craving for tuberose and for some reason there issss a hidden tuberose note in this fragrance (i love that). if u find urself having a hard time deciding which fragrance to get among the three choices i previously mentioned, you probably have to get intense tiare if ur into white florals that shapeshifts like a beastly chameleon. speaking of, i don't get how people claimed that this is not at all interesting + complex and just your plain linear fragrance bc this is a verrryyyy multi-faceted tiare+coco/monoi/beachy fragrance like girlie has a lotttt of evolutions lol she can be: -indolic jasmine -powdery rose -creamy coco lotion -banana ylang -fizzy tuberose -mature vanilla -monoi that doesn't choke you (unlike other monoi-inspired fragrances that are extremely sweet) it's beautifully blended as well !! it just depends on ur chemistry if it wants to be a soliflore or a beachy bouquet bc there are days where it behaves differently on me like why are u trying to be a mood ring? most of the time tho, it usually starts pretty tart, green and stemmy, then u get to smell a bit of coconut husk that quickly develops into an indolic white floral + banana ylang then you get hints of bubblegum + soda-ish tuberose on mid dry-down that doesn't stay too long as it settles into this powdery and soapy coconut scented lotion. on the late drydown where it's basically just a skin scent, it either goes indolic jasmine or musty (yes musty lmao) vanilla, which i don't hate bc it gives the fragrance that needed animalic twang making it more sensual and elevated. it's not too similar to coco vanille, tho i can tell that they use the same vanilla base. weirdly enough, it reminds me of the powdery smell on jlo glow but better quality bc jlo glow has a rubbery smell. also reminds me of chloe nomade naturelle or jasmin naturel but that one's sandy, dry, woody and definitely sweeter + spicier (lovelyyyy for layering tho). as for performance, it does its job amazingly. on a casual day with ur usual outdoor stuff, it can last 6-7 hours on skin but it's a different case when ur just at home chilling bc it can easily last a whole night's sleep. on clothes? spectacular. easy 27 hours (absurd). strong projection for 2-3 hours then the rest of its wear time is pretty much a long-lasting skin scent (expected bc of it's high oil concentration). finally found the coconut fragrance for me !!

this is a fantastic indolic fragrance from Montale. I must have bought it in 2005 and the nozzle definitely shows some wear. so this flacon is for 20 years in my house. yesterday [I breeched myself] well, I braced myself for which ghost should come out of the silvery bottle. and it was fantastic, heavy, heady, narcotic and surely sufficiently 'macerated'. when I read below that to some it smells synthetic I can not understand that, and then, by reading fragrantica articles, I can. each person has her', his', own skin chemistry and on my skin it is just these sultry overly narcotic scents that embrace me and more so, I lend them a canvass upon which they come out in full flourishing. all the flowers used you can smell but I must say the Rose shall do a supportive task. I can smell the coco, I think the vanilla also plays a role on the background. yet the Tiaré, the Ylang and Jasmine are fullfletched at work to make this a masterpiece of a perfume.

Looking to sell my bottle. Few sprays missing, comes full presentation. UK shipping only.

I put this on from a sample bottle, washed it off where I sprayed to not overwhelm myself with it while I relax. This was still there 6 hours later when I went to go to bed, after a shower. Lovely fragrance and layers amazingly with Coco Vanille by Mancera. Can find it some places cheap, too.

Initial spray smells like if rouge malachite was a soda with some added sugar. For a brief intermediate period while drying, it smelled like a nice and creamy coconut and vanilla lotion. It then turned to a violently sweet bubble gum smell; I am guessing the tiare acted like tuberose.

2026 Bottle Review I can only assume that the positive reviews for Intense Tiare are using an old formulation because I've tried this scent on and off skin, on friends etc and it s NOTHING like the description on Frgrantica. It smells lile a mess of metallics from first burst and although citrus is not mentioned in the notes, it's blasting like a cheap plug in air freshener - so the bottle colour is spot on. ZERO COCONUT ZERO ROSE TONNES OF FAKE JASMINE And after you have sprayed it has gone? Poof, in 20 minutes. That's on skin, paper and clothes. I really wanted this to be amazing - sadly it falls short and I can see why it's never in the lists on YouYube most watched videos for Coconut and Summer Perfumes ☀️

Анонім

I don't get much coconut in this which is a shame. Was hoping it would be something coconuty, tropical but its mostly white floral. Be careful not to overspray with this one

Анонім

Summer in the bottle. Similiar to Coco Vanille by Mancera but more fluffier and airy type of scent

Анонім

After wearing it quite a bit, all I can say that it is quite addictive. Despite my first impressions of a pure white floral slap 😂🙏 this now smells of very buttery monoi to me, very tropical, very Hawaii 🌺🌴🥥 and a kind of pretty girl scent that I just cannot get enough of.

Анонім

I just got this a few days ago so review is very much about first impressions after wearing this for about a week now. Hmm... where do I start... Well. It's very white floral, I mean of course it would be - It's called "intense tiare" but what I mean is that it kind of reminded me more of scents I used to have that had tuberose in them, rather than tiare. Think L'interdit as opposed to Monoi by yves Rocher. I expected a tropical scent but perhaps I was being too literal in my expectation. This has a soapy vibe because of the very obvious white floral profile. It does smell "tropical" if you associate sweet white florals with the tropics. I don't smell any coconut or vanilla. I do smell white florals with a sugary fizzy vibe in the top notes, and the end is very smooth, creamy ish white floral soapiness that can be sort of associated with sunscreen at the end of the day and freshly shampooed hair. For that reason - yes it's giving "beach bunny" 😅 vibes, and it lasts all day which is lovely. However, no coconut or vanilla. I understand the top summary of reviews that it lacks depth, it is very linear. Not too sure about it, though I have felt good wearing it and it's been giving me a boost of confidence whenever I caught it's scent throughout the day because it kinda makes you think of a beautiful woman who doesn't try too hard, her hair smells good whenever she flips it and it's a clean inviting scent rather than something very much in your face but these are my impressions and associations 😁 so it might be too strong for some and "intense". It doesn't feel that way to me but then white florals never do. It reminds me, ever so slightly, ever so slightly (it's not the same) of Miami Glow by Jennifer Lopez. It's a similar experience - you expect tropics and coconut and get a shampoo herbal essences white floral with creaminess that does at times feel a bit nauseating as nothing is biting through it. I will give Intense Tiare some grace as there is a sprinkle of sugar in this. Also reminds me of Kim Kardashians original perfume...And Michael Kors.

Respond to suzH99 hello to you :) Perfumes act different on people depending on your body chemistry. You should always test a perfume on your body and wait at least 30 min before you decides if you should go for it or not If you are into perfumes you start to know more and more what to look for , and what to stay away from For example, I know that notes like chocolate, pineapple, honey, ginger, tobacco, tonka bean, iris and leather don't work well on me I therefore always look for perfumes with apple, coconut, vanilla, amber, oakmoss, lavender and sandalwood because I know this suits my body chemistry. I remember some years ago a friend of mine smelled so good (cant remember what perfume it was but it was a designer perfume ) He did not like in on himself so he gave it to my i was so happy. That lastes for 5 min because it did not smell good and me. He on the other hand tought i smelled amazing and asked what i was using :) You never know with perfumes you simply have to test it yourself. I break my own rule on a rare occasion sometimes as i did with this one although in recent years I have used my Montale Sensual Instinct as my signature perfume all year round (I'm a simple man) and its the best perfumes i have ever smelled on another person when I first smelled it and on myself and it is the most complimented perfume I have ever used from both women and men. Happy smelling :)

A small update after my previous post. It didn't work well for me to combine this with Sensual Instinct. They are therefore better for me to use alone. But after using this for a few days, I have concluded that although the opening is fantastic and in my eyes very unisex, it becomes more and more feminine after a while. A lovely perfume, but too feminine for me so I gave it to my wife, she loves it and it smells wonderful on her. Like most Montale perfumes, they last a long time even after a day of work and a shower in the evening, I can still smell the perfume on her.

Анонім

I have to say that this is it for me sampling anything by Montale/Mancera. I found this to be a screechy, synthetic mess. I don't know why I expected anything different.

My absolute favorite perfume is Montale Sensula Instinct. I've been toying with the idea of trying it for the first time and mixing it with another Montale perfume. On Montale's own website they recommended this one. I got it for 70% off and have just gone and picked it up. It smells delicious of coconut, almost a little banana notes and the lovely Tiare rose. I does not have the powedery sweetnes that i dont like which is great. Tomorrow I'm going to test them together, I'm really excited about this. If it doesn't work I have no problem using this alone even though it's not as good as Sensual Instinct. It smells really delicious my wife wanted it as soon as she got home. I aggre that this leans more on the feminine side despite beeing and unisex perfume but as a man i have no problem using this sitting here writing and smelling delicious. Really good perfume. Not as strong and in your face like Sensual Instinct but av verty calming and seductive perfume. I boy i hope they will work together on me its promising they on there own smells amazing but you never know

I think it smells like toilet spray or room freshener, which no one should use :(

Delicious Tropical Sweet Fragrance with Coconut Cream. One of my favorites.

Анонім

Like every Montale fragrance I've tried, this one smells extremely synthetic. I feel like this would work much better as a candle or a body wash; something that already has other ingredients in it that would help mask the chemical smell. The scent itself does deliver on the name Intense Tiare. It's creamy and indolent, but not in the way indole can sometimes offend people who don't like it. Maybe this works for people who live in cooler settings, but I live in the tropics, and this fragrance is... a LOT, and the synthetic quality is impossible to ignore when you're surrounded by the real thing.

This is it! This is the perfume I have spent years looking for! I have been on a quest to find the most perfect summer day at the beach wearing suntan lotion scent. This is not one of those "smell like the ocean" beach fragrances, it is a gorgeous creamy floral coconut. This makes me feel like I am holding a coconut shaved ice browsing a cooler full of leis in Maui. IF you want to smell like you have spent time at a tropical destination, but do not want to smell like the destination this is perfect. With all my trial and error perfume samples and purchased I have found coconut to have three main scent profiles. 1. A dry coconut smell that is like opening a bag of dried coconut flakes. Not bad, not sweet, just there. 2. Twangy coconut that has a slightly mildewy or sour note. Some of the popular "beachy" scents lean into this category. Maybe it is a certain combination of coconut and something else? 3. My favorite version, bright and happy coconut. This does not always lean towards gourmand and dessert-like. When I think of a coconut scent in my mind, this is what I imagine. This version of coconut is harder to track down. Believe me, I have spent a small fortune trying. I feel like this is what Vacation brand perfume was trying to smell like, but they just couldn't make it. I immediatly ran to my computer and purchased the largest bottle of this I could find. I might even buy two.

absolutely GORGEOUS white and yellow floral milky coconut tropical fragrance, I live in Florida where it’s always hot as hell and this thrives in the heat 💯 if you love killian sun-kissed goddess or alien goddess mugler, but don’t reach for them because of their poor longevity and sillage, this is your BEAST mode niche alternative. 10/10 !! another successful blind buy for me, but if your not into mature vanillic, coconut milk, white and yellow florals, or sunscreen beachy tropical fragrances in general, I suggest not blind buying. overall, 55 bucks well spent, she will be used !! I personally LOVE and suggest layering her with b&bws coconut nectar cause if you do, you’ll smell like a 2000s Bahamas summer vacation !

Анонім

To start off with a surprising and silly extra review, my mom said it smells like myrrh and frankincense, the kind used in church. I was taken aback because it's far from what the notes suggest, but once she pointed it out, I couldn't unsmell it :( My experience with it? It’s creamy, floral, feminine, and bitter. It’s puzzling, because I sense a strong contradiction within it. It’s marketed as a summer fragrance, yet I can’t bring myself to imagine wearing this in high heat without feeling at least a little nauseous. Ironically, I can easily picture someone, or even myself, wearing this in a summer vacation setting, such as on a cruise or in a well-ventilated, pretty restaurant. Even with that said, I don’t deny that it might do well in summer heat as well. It’s elegant, refined, ladylike, and definitely brings back summer vacation vibes.

I've been on a white floral kick lately...primarily tuberose and/or gardenia. I've sampled and/or full bottle purchased a LOT of white floral perfumes. I like many Montale Perfumes, so I thought I'd try Intense Tiare. FULL DISCLOSURE: I absolutely DETEST coconut notes in fragrance. I am extremely sensitive to the note, which is the primary reason I delayed sampling and/or purchasing Quattro Pizzi and Intense Tiare. To my untrained nose, "Intense Tiare" is nearly 1000% identical to Xerjoff Casamorati "Quattro Pizzi." If you like a white floral, coconut combination note in perfumes, you will like Intense Tiare. I do not get the urinous, ammonia note in Intense Tiare that I experienced with Quattro Pizzi. But IMHO, if you own one of these two fragrances, you do not need both. I'm surprised Quattro Pizzi isn't in the "Reminds Me Of" section. The tropical, sunscreen-y, aquatic, beachy, coconut-floral fragrances are just not my jam.

Анонім

The fragrance truly lives up to its name—intense Tiare. From the moment I spray it, I can smell the tiare flower, which remains noticeable throughout the dry down, complemented by hints of jasmine. However, the tiare is definitely the star of this scent. It’s a gourmand interpretation of these tropical flowers, offering a warm and comforting presence rather than a fresh or crispy feeling. Some might find the overdose of vanilla a bit synthetic, but personally, I don’t mind it. The dry down is a cozy blend of vanilla and coconut, with subtle floral notes peeking through. I understand why some people compare it to a toilet freshener; it did cross my mind as well. Yet, I’ve also read that citrus-heavy perfumes can sometimes resemble cleaning products, and coconut scents can evoke sunscreen—so it’s best to take such comparisons with a grain of salt. I genuinely like this perfume; it has a playful, girly charm and its own unique character. My only concern is the longevity, but I hold onto the hope that as it matures, it might improve—fingers crossed.

OK , Montale, I see you! This is my first Montale fragrance and as a Florist and Tiaré lover I had to get this. First spray was, as the name suggests, intense Tiaré. Almost pungent with the YlangYlang, so I had to sneeze. After a few seconds one of the richest Tiaré flower comes to mind and it's tropical with the coconut. I was afraid, that it would smell cheap like sun lotion, but to me it's a powerful, predominant white floral. I detect rose in the dry down, but only in a supporting role. Everything is well blended. The projections in the first 1 hour is beast mode and will have everyone in a radius of +3 meters in a choke hold. It smells like a vacation on a very expensive resort and gives me the complete vacay feeling. It's narcotic, tropical white floral that will make you noticed at any point and time. Longevity in clothes seem eternal, as I can detect traces of this scent a week after. The scent trail, well, is delectable and everyone will notice your immense presence. Give this a try if you want to attention and spread holiday feelings!

Plastic bitter fake tiarè - or if the tiarè smells like this it's super chemical. No vanilla, no coconut, no ylang ylang, not creamy but symmetrically persistent, bitter again I must say imho, not suitable for hot summer days: it's sticky, cloying, headache inducing, not at all a suntan lotion kinda. I'm so sorry because I took this based on a research on the forum for a room filling sillage coconut scent, but it's NOT SUITABLE FOR BLIND BUYING (and not coconut at all), try to test it before or depression will take you for the wrong investment, because it's highly priced too. Definitely not my perfume at all 😭 I sell it for 80€ if you wish, after just exactly three sprays.

Stunning fragrance! Living in a tropical/hot climate this is the quite essential scent profile for me. Among the other “tropical&beachy” perfumes this is the only one that doesn't give me a headache. It smells smooth and well blended. Very long lasting, doesnt smell artificial, gets compliments and blends with the skin. Definitely recommend it
