This is not a beast mode fragrance by any means. But the fragrance itself is killer. Legend Knight will not offend anybody and will be appreciated by those close by. Slightly sweet, smoky and woody with just a great close to skin sent. I love this fragrance from the time I spray it on all the way through to where you can’t smell it anymore. And at the price you could pick it up for it is more than a bargain. Give it a try you won’t be sorry.
Too sweet and annoying.
I tried this one today after buying mont blanc legend spirit .. both smell good but i prefer this one .. can definitely wear it on summer nights .. smell really good very mass appealing .. tbh smell wise i don’t see anyone disliking this
The opening reminds me of a more dull version of Versace Eros with a vague spice note. Not as ambroxan forward or bright minty as Eros. The drydown is quite nice, a dark and fruity vanilla. It vaguely reminds me of another Montblanc fragrance in this stage, Starwalker Extreme. I ended up coming around this one. It ultimately is its own thing. A smooth sort of contemporary date night scent that is hard to dislike. 8.0/10
A wonderful scent. Mass appealing, dark, masculine. A beautiful smell, only problem is. It has horrible longevity.
Legend Night is an excellent, sophisticated entry into the warm-spicy fragrance genre. It doesn't scream for attention, but it smells incredibly high-quality for its price point. The bottle’s rich, amber-coloured gradient perfectly reflects the juice inside: warm, smooth, and slightly boozy. It is quite far removed from the original Legend by Montblanc, which was more fruit-forward and "shower fresh." In being more wintry and evening appropriate, Legend Night pivots into warm, cozy, and seductive territory. The scent opens with a surprisingly bright blast of crisp green apple and bergamot, but it is immediately wrapped in a warm, spicy cloud of cardamom and mint. The mint doesn't smell like toothpaste; it provides a cool, aromatic breeze that cuts through the initial sweetness. As the opening settles, the fragrance becomes much smoother and more sophisticated. A dry cedarwood and aromatic lavender emerge, alongside a unique touch of violet. My favourite aspect of this fragrance's composition is the drydown, a warm, creamy, and comforting blend of black vanilla husk, amberwood, and a touch of patchouli. The vanilla here isn't sugary or feminine; it is dark, woody, and slightly smoky, giving off a refined, intimate vibe. The biggest disappointment is the rather lacklustre longevity and projection. You can expect about 5 to 6 hours wear on skin, however, it lasts noticeably longer if sprayed generously on clothing. The projection is strong initially, but is quick to settle into an intimate skin-scent. I know that the poor longevity and projection is one of this fragrance's weak points.
…….. every time I put this on my wife will compliment how good it smells, but any time I put on any version of Armani code she says nothing,, unless it’s Armani code parfumo, the discontinued one that I have maybe 3 -4 sprays in the bottom of the bottle if I tilt it just right.. 🤷🏼♂️ So in my opinion this is a great alternative to code parfumo.. THE END! 😎
I used to think maceration was a myth but this fragrance has now made a believer. I have previously reviewed this and criticized it for the performance, about a year later now and it seems way more detectable and long lasting. I have been reaching for it so often lately. Opens fresh, woody, kind of fizzy that then turns powdery. Sharp woods, fruity from the apple this delicious vanilla. For a fragrance labeled as night, it has this freshness to it that honestly makes it so versatile to me, I mainly wear it in the daytime. In the air, itll kinda remind you of something from the Armani code or Eros line.
Pretty great, one of my favorites, but again. the spl, maybe not it. It becomes skin scent too quick ngl, nice but idk man it doesn't really stay that long
Legend Night is like a tamed down designer version of Layton. It removes the menthol feel from Layton and has more spice. The mint, lavender, apple, dark vanilla is all there. I woke up in the middle of the night to an amazing vanilla amber smell and it was the Legend Night drydown on my shirt. It's a sneaky good smell. Performance bros will be disappointed with projection but I like a subtle scent. Real happy to have this in my arsenal.
One of my favourite all time scents. It does not have the best performance & longevity but it’s been designed to sit close to the skin. Perfect for date nights. One of the best.
Guys does armani profumo smells like this boy ?
Fantastic cheap fall and winter fragrance. Smooth rich and well blended notes of cinnamon and vanilla. Masculine and mass appealing. Highly recommended! Not the best longetivity or projection but overall score of 9/10!!
Ah, this is the boozy thing I’ve been catching whiffs of since 2018 without being able to pin down what or who it is. Boozy, ambery, and intimate. Can’t believe I’ve not pinned it down until now, and just by chance. It’s good stuff. It’s not actually screaming vanilla or anything Armani. It’s like a cross between S T DuPont’s Be Exceptional and D&G The One PH EdT. Subtle, but alluring and long lasting, good value.
This is a cozy, sweet scent that is a crowd-pleaser and super pleasant. It's not a projection monster and probably won't last all day, but it's not meant for that. This is something to wear when you know you'll be close to someone. It's a warm, inviting and sexy spicy scent.
UPDATE** This does smell somewhat similar to Armani code profumo, at least it's in the same wheelhouse. But it's more sweet than dark. It's like if you crossed code profumo with la nuit lhomme. But it's more youthful than code profumo and not necessarily for an older crowd like that one. Less mature, more juvenile. But still pretty versatile. I would say 20-50 all could easily pull this off, however 20-30 would be ideal imo Also I'm gonna change my mind and say that I got really good longevity and performance out of it when I sprayed it tonight. Doesn't project beast mode don't get me wrong, but it's got a nice scent bubble to where people around you will smell you within a few feet radius. I think it lives up to the edp I think this is one of the best amber fragrances for the price on the market. But it's somewhat generic. It's very very similar to YSL la nuit lhomme, but of course YSL is higher quality, but they are super similar. I'm assuming that legend night is a clone of la nuit lhomme Anyway, this is a basic sweet amber frag, just sticky sweet like syrup, with some highlights of vanilla and a little powder with an oriental spicy vibe at the base. I didn't like it at first as I'm not a big fan of amber dominant fragrances, but it has grown on me. I busted it out tonight and am really digging it right now This is a good clubbing scent. Seems like one of those ones that women will really like
Not that it smells bad, just not for me and definitely for someone older. Avoid it if you’re in your 20’s to early 30’s. It’s a shame since I adore the Legend line but it’s just not for me. If you like Profumo, get it. If not, steer clear
Very beautiful smell, I love the smell of this the best montblanc in the legend line in my opinion. but it’s so weak… if you buy this overspray it like 10+ that should get u at least maybe 4hrs
Nose note #10: From the start, you get the apple and cardamom, blended with a soft lavender and some light freshness, comming from the mint and bergamot. Later on, the apple and lavender notes grow much stronger, with an ambery - woody scent. The down is that is has almost 0 proyection and last 6 hours max, very disappointing. I would wear it to night dates in chill seasons. The fragance is underrated, and it could be my in my top 5 fragances if not for the performance. Price: 57€, 100mL Rate: 8/10
Smells identical to 212 sexy man.... Also is this discountinoued or no?
If this perfume had a more long-lasting and diffused fragrance, it could have been more popular than Layton. However, due to its insufficient sillage and longevity, such a beautiful scent profile is not preferred.
I had a small decant of this fragrance. I enjoyed wearing it! It had a nice woody opening to me, as well as some of the mint hitting my nose immediately. But what really makes this fragrance shine to me is the drydown and the base notes. The vanilla I smell after an hour or two is delightful and I can't stop smelling my wrist! My main complaint with this fragrance is that it doesn't project well on my skin. Also, I don't appreciate all of the fragrance notes in the opening. If you can find this from a discounter, definitely try it out! Could be your next solid budget fragrance.
Not bad, but maybe not for me. I'm getting similarities to Armani Code in this, with a warm spicy character. The powdery notes are subtle but there, with vanilla sweetness playing a bigger role. This was included as a free sample from Decant House; much appreciated!
Literally made an account just to dog on how ass this performance is. Smell is quite nice, it's like a much boozier version of the aromatic frags of the same line. However after trying multiple occasions to give it a shot, the day that I went for dinner and sprayed like 10 times on my body after parking the car and walked to the restaurant. I knew that this fragrance was COOKED when I could tell it was fading by the time that the first appetizer was brought to us... Much better alternatives that offer similar vibes in terms of notes but with much better longevity.
It's got that soft, powdery vibe that you get in several of Antoine Maisondieu's other Oriental frags like Armani Code Profumo, Burberry Brit, and Valentino Umomo Born in Roma. This one's vanilla-forward, and that cardamom note brings La Nuit de l'Homme to mind as well. But I wish it were a little more assertive - needs a little more spice or something.
A light, dark, woodsy (& almost slightly caramely) vanilla, elevated by with the aromatic sweetness of an apple - cardamom combo. This is THE perfect fragrance for a summer night out/date night! Performance is a non issue, just bring a decant with you!
Just got this in, purchased with a gift card as I only had $40 including shipping and this was the best option I could find on eBay that fit the bill. Blind buy gone right. Have not worn it yet so I cannot speak to the longevity, but I can tell you it smells just like the cologne counters in winter at Macy’s. Maybe nothing mind blowing or ultra unique, but I can see this getting comments if it projects on my skin. Kind of a blend of it all right here. Dark, rich, boozy sweet in my first 5 sprays on paper. Letting it macerate until a cool fall day.
Agree with the comment below. Really pleasant smell - you get apple, citrus, vanilla, woods, florals. Projection is moderate for 30 minutes then turns into a skin scent for the next 3 hours before totally disappearing. If this had better projection and longevity, it would be top 5 in my collection
This is nice, but it is nothing exceptional. A nice warm vanilla with a bit of fresh lavender and aromatics coming through. One big issue though, it's a bit weak. I may use it just to layer over a darker vanilla, like Club Black.
Very signature-worthy. I easily recommend this to any young man (and older) who wants a good, solid, reliable oriental Autumn-Winter-Spring scent. Non-descript in a good way. Clean, sweet, chilled out, handsome, just a touch dark. PS: I dig it way more than Armani Code Profumo.
