2015- **************** scent:8.5/10 longevity:6/10 sillage:5.5/10 purchase value:?/10 ********* overall:6.6/10

For some reason this smelled like cigarettes, however it did last forever.

I find this to be really pretty! I don’t even detect a salt note. It’s interesting and I don’t find it to be generic. It has a weird sharpness in the top but it’s not bad, I agree, it’s kind of herbal. I think this is scent that could be worn in any season, day or night. However, I think it would wear best in warmer weather. I can see it not being for everyone but for my tastes, I enjoy it. I wouldn’t put it in my top ten but it is pretty.

How I discovered i do not like salt notes

Анонім

Great modern basic that doesn't offend. It's definitely full of synthetics, but does seem to contain genuine tangerine and hibiscus extracts and that, thankfully, keeps it from skewing too Bath&Body Works. The artemisia adds a unique, fuzzy, herbal quality that makes this stand out as a fruity-floral. Just enough to keep it from being another forgettable budget frag. I tend to go for mostly natural-based or niche perfumery, but Moschino and Cacharel remain my favorites in terms of cheap, obtainable, and inoffensive. If synthetics gives you headaches or you have an autoimmune condition, be careful with this price category, but it's basically on par with modern Chanel, Guerlain, etc - which resemble BBW creations more and more by the day. Sillage is great, longevity is great, and price is great. Definitely more femme in nature and wears best in heat and during the day. Not quite warm or spicy enough to be considered masculine or a good evening scent.

So I just found this fragrance from my grandma's room I'd say I'll give it a 6/10 I get it it's floral way too floral, a bit salty going on in the background it's kinda unique and it smells a little bit "old" For me

Анонім

I agree with the reviewer below. This gem is nothing like Amor Amor, so if anyone is trying to find a dupe for it, this is not it. I also agree that this is pretty and inoffensive all year around, but I also live in a temperate climate. ☺️

Анонім

I really don’t think Amor Amor is the same as this so if anyone ever finds a solid dupe PLEASE let me know this perfume was the catalyst for me falling in love with fragrances.

Анонім

I don't know if the batch being sold at the discounter was a bad batch or it turned already. But all I get is just a heavy woody scent with a strange bugspray note from the tester. Too tempted to buy for the bottle alone but that sniff stopped me on my tracks

Анонім

This is a total Amor Amor by Cacharel dupe. I got it because I thought it might be closer to the older (2003) version of Amor Amor, which I totally fell for. However I'm no longer a fan of Amor Amor nor Glamour. I think these fragrances are so vibrant, heavy, and bursting with warmth that they don't fit well in a hot climate like Los Angeles. I think this and Amor Amor need to exist in a colder place, a cold gloomy and maybe metropolitan place. Like London. When I did love these scents they were chiefly cold weather fragrances only. I cant imagine why anyone would wear this or Amor Amor in the summer or hot weather. Its very heavy, musky, and sticky, but in cold climate was divine.

This is one of my favorite perfumes of all time I am so sad that it’s discontinued. It is such a beautiful salty floral. Could be year round, but mostly spring and summer. It smells soft and happy. Not too strong or overpowering by any means. It has never given me a headache and I’m pretty sensitive when it comes to that. It’s actually very unique as well, there’s nothing that’s exactly like it.

Анонім

I love this one and it was my signature during the summer. It's really hot and humid during summertime in my country. Therefore the citrus and especially the salt note come out really good and blend well with my nature body smell. It's just sad that this was discontinued, and it is really hard to find it now. Hope they will make something like this again.

I just bought this and it’s one of my best blind buys. It smells familiar yet so different. I think it’s the salt note. It’s hard to compare it in a sense to another fragrance and I tend to compare with other perfumes more often than describe specific notes generally. I do understand why people compare it to Amor Amor but it is just not close enough to be a ‘smells like’. It’s almost like Amor Amor is one aspect of this complex fragrance if that makes any sense. Then, another note or almost entire fragrance comes through. I will get a hint of maybe Cinema by YSL? I think that might be it. Then I get melon which I’m surprised isn’t listed as a note, as another reviewer mentioned. I also get a tiny bit of Ralph Lauren Ralph but this isn’t strong. The saltiness reminds me of Muglers Womanity. I then get a powdery note, like a cosmetics vibe but that works in beautifully.

Анонім

I had the perfume and really enjoyed the scent. It is opulent and radiating. When I sprayed the perfume it reminded me the gold colour, a vibrant gold colour like the bottle. It is more than avarage floral perfumes out there. I got some oriental vibes from this gem.

Анонім

Moschino Glamour is pretty, and different than many super sweet modern scents. Has a sharpness and the saltiness is sublime. This is very reminiscent of Gloria by Cacharel, but without the amaretto sweetness. I will be buying a few back-ups of this, since it is a bit hard to come by. Moderate silage and longevity.

NYA90 -- Try Bath and Body Works Dahlia...it's fairly new and resembles Glamour a bit. When I test them side by side, Glamour is a bit more sparkly (if that makes sense!). Dahlia has more depth but they seem to have the same DNA. And this could be just the chemistry lab on my skin only...hard to say! I like Glamour and also can't find it. I only have a mini bottle and use it sparingly. :(

One of the first real perfumes I have ever had. I really love the smell but cannot buy it anywhere as it is discontinued

Анонім

I'm with Bonzos on this. I'm still sad that this is discontinued. I pulled out this beauty today and put it on. It's my last bottle, one I've been hanging onto since 2010 or so, still half full because I've been miserly with it since it's no longer made. It is still so damn beautiful. It's a floral with some sweet depth. Not fruity. A little woodsy. The salt accord adds some dimension, but isn't overt or even beachy. It's very easy to wear, far from being a "challenging" fragrance - yet it is unique. It's one of the few perfumes in my vast collection that I think would appeal to any age group and is wearable in any season. It's hard to find a fragrance this easy and likeable that is also this versatile. It has moderate sillage, great lasting power. It's not a beast, but it's not subtle either.

Анонім

I'm still not over the discontinuation. I'll never be over it.

Ok, the initial spray is exactly like Cacharel's Amor Amor! it's citrus and berries, sooo nice, love the similarity to Amor Amor. But it's Glamour by Moschino, so when those delicious top notes fade away, I'm left with a completely different scent to Amor Amor. I can't smell the salt note, which, apparently should be very prominent. Instead, I get a lot of flowers especially hibiscus and orchid it's beautifully blended. I usually can feel cedar very well, but even though, it's listed in the base notes, I don't detect it. Which is good. The scent is simultaniously sharp floral and soft ambery. Just delicious! Great for every season. Glamour by Moschino is the second scent, after Ange ou Demon le Secret by Givenchy, which I can call the scent of my personality.

I really don't think there is any fragrance quite like this one. It's herbaceous but not in the Elizabeth Ardens Blue Grass sense. It smells like fresh coriander on me and I don't mind. Moschino 'Glam' lists Artemsia as a note and I know this well as it's the psychedelic contribution to Absinthe better known as Wormwood, or southern wormwood, the leaf shown above in the notes here seems to be the weedy type not used in alchemical potions. As the wormwood I grew and know botanically is silver hued because of the minute abundant alleopathic hairs covering artemesia's leaves. I actually agree with many other reviewers here, it's a love hate relationship with this one. I have 50 mill flacon in tucked away and travelling with me a 10 mill roller ball which came with the gift set back in 2011. The fragrance tends to work better in extreme humidity, it's quite a complex jazzy little number one I wear occasionally, yet one which intrigues me greatly. It's a green note with a salty vibe and woodsy undertone a slight orange tinge. I like it for it's unusual composition and effect on my senses. It's wonderous really. Lasts about 6 hours with a soft to medium sillage. Glamourous and proud looking presentation of a gold shouldered flacon. Worth an inclusion to a fragrance wardrobe, just for it's uniqueness...

After dry down, this scent is what someone would deeply inhale after stepping out for a "breath of fresh air" in spring time. The salt keeps it very pure and tames the florals. There is a subtle sweetness, reminiscent of honey or honeysuckle nectar, likely brought in by amber. Very fowardly a white floral but staying rooted in nature rather than a florist showing off bouquets. As someone else stated @Trvevil, it is almost like a tea steeped with the lotus and hibiscus. Surprisingly, a very sophisticated and unjuvenile scent. Very interesting florals and never would have guessed how big of a role the salt played in this.

Анонім

Someone in reviews mentioned, that it shines in summer humidity, and i agree with that. In winter cold it does not get any color or attractiveness. Also has similarity to amor amor forbidden kiss, even though notes are different, therefore the drydown also differs. Glamour dries down into soft amber, i get very little muskiness. The longevity and strenght are above average, to the long lasting side definately. Worth trying for sure!

Such mixed reviews! I'm in love with this fragrance, it is my signature in fact. Yesterday I was talking about it with my sister, she likes it too but as it is my scent she doesnt wanna buy it haha. I fell in love when it first came out. It is quirky and glamorous at the same time, a little bit mysterious but suitable for day to day. I dont feel it's cliche, maybe in other countries there are perfumes like this at the drugstore but not here in Argentina. I feel it fits amazing with vintage clothes, it's young but kind of nostalgic too. For me it is a statement. Also, the packaging and bottle are super cute! - Edit: I really wish it lasted longer! I had Amor Amor, Glamour reminds me of it but it's more intense which I like.

Анонім

I have tried this out in winter and it doesn't really shine, now I've tried it out in extreme humidity and believe it performs its best in those conditions. The heat really brings out the salt note and its balanced well with lovely sweet flora notes. Good choice for humid weather when your tired of 'fresh cucumber & Mint scents'.

This is absolutely beautiful. A very sexy fragrance, loving the salt. Fruity and floral without being over the top, ahhh just lovely.I can really see myself wearing this often. I can't stop sniffing my arm.

Glamour is a really nice scent for a night out, or a daytime adventure, any occasion where you'll move around in fresh air, but I found it to be a bit too strong for an office, or any confined space. It lasts most of the day on my skin, even holding up to an extremely humid heatwave. I find it sweet and soft, and didn't notice any salt. The powdery orchid, amber, and musk kind of dominated the scent sometimes, depending on the weather and location. This reminded me a little of Burberry London, but I like Glamour more; it is fresher and lighter.

Анонім

I smelled this 7 or 8 years ago when it first came out, back when I was in middle school. I remember being so in love with it that I carried magazine samples with me and stuck them everywhere in my closet. A week ago I bought a bottle at a pretty reasonable price, just to see if it was as good as I remembered it to be—it sure is, and more! It's sweet, but it has a tinge of bitterness, and that note of salt tempers the fruitiness. On my skin, it doesn't change much in the drydown—still packs a punch, but doesn't overwhelm or give me a headache. I've had it on my wrists for hours and I keep getting the impulse to smell it again and again.

Анонім

I like the smell of this one. It smells like clean flowers and sophistication. However, the longevity is very weak :(

Анонім

I have only tried in in the coldest time of winter so maybe it’s not projecting well but it puts in mind of a lighter version of Givenchy very irresistible crosier (blue bottle) the use of salt and floral is similar. I like it but it’s not a love yet. I’m looking forward to trying it out in the desert heat. Bottle is very cute.
