Alien Flora Futura

Flora Futura is Aura cosplaying Alien. It opens with the opening of Aura EDT but less green, less sharp, more grounded, more floral. As the scent progresses the metallic amber of Alien shows up slowly to create the link with Alien. However the whole scent is still circled around Aura's DNA and make more sense as an Aura flanker. Beautiful creation!

What I love about the Alien flankers is their ability to tell their own stories, to become independent interpretations of the original, often with a striking individuality. And that is precisely the case here. Aqua Florale is the Alien woman in a state of deep relaxation, unwinding in an oriental spa or practicing yoga in a place of calm and quiet reflection. The delicate floral accords are subtly dusty, sweet, yet serene. In the base, the composition takes on the milky sweetness of smooth sandalwood. Longevity, traditionally for the line, is very good, lasting on fabric throughout the day, while the sillage is gentler than the original: moderate, leaning toward intimate. The beautiful soft coral tones of the flacon perfectly reflect the nature of the fragrance itself.

I used to wear this as my work fragrance but it’s too powdery for me now. Does anyone have suggestions on what to layer it with?

I’m a massive fan of Mugler perfumes because the longevity of their perfumes is eternal and the sillage is strong. This is a beautiful floral perfume with the qualities of Mugler.

i smelled and it looks absolutely amazing

I have a small sample. First impressions. Very white floral. Pleasant. Powdery. Soft cozy. Feminine. It’s like a pretty perfume you’ve smelled somewhere before. More approachable than the original alien. A little goes a long way. I would wear in cooler weather. Second wearing I used the rest of the sample, more than my first application. It smells more like original alien and can be overwhelming. It’s a like but not a love. Use with a light application.

This is almost exactly the same as regular Alien, except this is much lighter and soapier. A disappointment for me since the bottle is so pretty and the notes seemed so interesting. I don't mind soapy perfumes but thats the only thing making it different from regular alien besides the intensity ):

This is not bad but it does kind of smell like bar soap to me after awhile, and that’s not necessarily a bad thing! It’s kind of just of what it does. Not what I usually look for in fragrance, but it’s not a “hate” either at all…..

This is very sweet. The bottle is so pretty, and the scent kind of matches it! It's absolutely a spring floral that's fresh and light and jasmine-heavy. But for me personally, it's kind of nauseatingly too sweet (the way aquolina's pink sugar might be).

This is a good out the shower spring summer daytime Alien. I wear this one to bed a lot 😍

This is really pleasant. There is a syrupy facet that reminds me of Flowerbomb Nectar but not as cloying. It's fresh, sweet, floral. I don't really see the similarities to the original alien

I blind bought this, based on reviews here. Was a bit worried but I was like, okay at least it has a beautiful bottle. Welll.... I'm so happy I bought this. The little bit sharp white florals makes it somewhat refreshing in warmer weather as well but I understand that it can be too much for some. Eventually what it dries down, that sandalwood and amber makes the what florals softer, taking the sharpness away.

Alien Flora Futura is one of my favorites from the Alien line along with Alien Eau Extraordinaire. You'll get that o.g. Alien DNA with a hint of soft powdery notes. Because I live in Indonesia, which is a tropical country, I would say Flora Futura, Eau Extraordinaire, Sublime and Alien EDT will be your best choices from the Alien line to wear in hot and humid weather.

spicy, slightly floral - amber is there, but too sweet, sharp, and chemical-ish for me. not very complex, it feels more like a drugstore fragrance to me. no longevity on my skin, better on clothes. i feel i need to spray a lot for any sillage. i wouldn't purchase again.

Powdery sweet soft fairy like version of alien. You can smell the alien dna but if you hated the OG, this is lighter softer spring/summer clean girl version of it. Think of it like a casual quiet sister of the OG alien that loves comfortable clothes and sports, but gets her hair done every week, and her nails are always fabulous. It will offend nobody around you, and you will not get a headache from it if the OG was a problem. The longevity is still nice, but what i like about it is that it's such an easy reach when you run around doing stuff.

I bought this perfume after Alien, it was a blind buy because i loved alien so much. I liked the subtleness and sweetness. I will admit I layer this perfume with body sprays and other subtle fragrances. Its a beautiful base perfume. Glad I purchased it on sale, but probably wouldn't purchase full price.

You guys are insane if you don't smell the original dna in this. It might have a different flower listed but this smells like jasmine completely . Definitely lighter and has that citrus top , but I don't smell the synthetic mess as a lot of you say. This is a jasmine perfume. Perfect on a rainy day. It's green floral but not too green. It last on clothes forever but not on skin.

The bottle is gorgeous but the scent.. is not. So, initially, this is like a woodsier and more powdery version of Alien, and those two facets together brought out in prominence are definitely an interesting combination. My favorite was the first couple of minutes when that light, dusty wood smell was most prominent. Unfortunately.. there's an emergent sharp and synthetic facet that rapidly overtakes everything else as the scent matures. It teeters between juicy or candied at very generous best and medicinal at worst. In the end this is just some sweet, annoying (VERY annoying) pink juice.

Just a huge nope for me. I don't get the Alien DNA. This is a slightly spicy floral with no sweetness in it. It's a lot like French Connection Femme, but blended even worse. I think it's suits the Flora Futura name, sure, but it just isn't for me at all. If it were something a tad closer to the sweetness in Goddess, I'd be happier. I honestly don't think there is a need for this flanker at all. Beautiful bottle, waste of time making the scent though!

First of all, cactus flower is the flower whose smell I like the most. Therefore, I bought this perfume without smelling it. I have no regrets. It has a wonderful floral scent. Perfect for spring. Those who love floral scents should give this perfume a chance. Also, the bottle is very stylish.

Wanted to love it. I'm in love with Alien EDP and Alien Eau Extraordinaire. But Flora Futura just isn't it for me.

I wasn't sure about this one on first spray. The opening is pretty sharp from the citron and floral, but the drydown made me fall in love. It's a soft, powdery ambery cloud that drifts around for hours. I wouldn't call this a safe blind buy, but definitely worth testing.

Melon ish watery white and pink floral fresh(you know exactly what I’m describing) citrus, vanillin, sandalwood and classic alien dry down with a green twist. The green twist is a light version of the green in aura. This has presence and longevity. Get them while they are cheap. You see what happens to all the other muglera. They go POOF 🌟 and become hard to track down. NOT LIKE EAU EXTRAORDINAIRE which was pencil shaving, citrus heavy with a smidgeon of alien at the bottom.

I actually bought this by accident in stead of the original EDT. It went a little fast and I didnt notice "flora futura" underneath "Alien" right away. Just that it was alien EDT. Disappointed but yet also a bit happy since it seemed like a more wearable version for me. The reason why I chose to buy edt for myself. I like this. Very pleasant, but unfortunately also very weak, especially considering it's a Mugler perfume and I used like 4-5 sprays today! It's one of those I can't really smell on myself shortly after applying. It's kinda there, but yet not. As it develops, I faintly get hints of it, but that's It. No idea if others can smell it on me.... No comments yet. It's far from the power and scent of the OR EDP. I understand the comparison with aura sensuelle. Didn't come up with that myself, but I agree that this has kinda the same vibe, but lighter. I definitely prefer aura sensuelle over this one.

A more floral version of ALIEN. I think it's slightly lighter or more airy as it has less jasmine and amber than the original. I do not find it similar to ALIEN EAU EXTRAORDINAIRE because I don't find the bright citrus or fresh tea notes in this flanker. Glad to have tested it but this was not made for me. I don t get this .... Fragrantica notes...I don t get this!!!!! On Mugler website it-s written veeery clear: Orange, Jasmin, White Amber!!! No woods! no Cedarwood, no Sandalwood. It is listed as an Floral Green Amber fragrance!!!! What is this Budha wood? Now it-s a tree??? I thought it-s a God!

Was never into the OG Alien no matter how much I tried. The only Alien I liked and own is the Essence Absolue (apart from one which a sales lady insisted on spraying me with back in 2012 in Galleries La Fayette which being the Alien hater that I am, I didn’t pay attention and did not get the name of the flanker I was sprayed with, and after a while I was enchanted). But I just stumbled upon a Flora Futura 1.5 sample in my sample collection, and I liked it right away. But not in an OMG earth-shattering, fell in love way. It’s pleasant but not remarkable. And disappointingly it transformed into a barely there scent after only 45 minutes. I have to rub my nose against my skin to get a whiff of it. I’d maybe consider getting a small decant but not more.

This is a very unremarkable perfume. I forget what it smells like even while I’m wearing it, but I “know” it smells like any other pink juice. I thought maybe it would be more interesting than, say, Miss Dior (which I also consider generically pink, but lovely) but I’ve worn it on multiple occasions and find it underwhelming every time.

Can’t stand it. Extremely chemical opening and dries down to a boring floral if I could even call it that. Also doesn’t remind me of OG alien as well. Def not a safe blind buy.

Got a sample of this and I thought I had sprayed the wrong one for a second - something in it is close to Aura Sensuelle
