The smell I got for an empty bottle is the most amazing creamy hazelnut Baileys/liqueur. I wish I could smell it on my skin!! (Patchouli hater btw)

i generally haaaaaaaate patchouli. its something that i just cant stand for no particular reason, despite my love of incensey weirdo hippie scents. this is Yummy. this is Delish. i was lucky enough to be handed down the 50ml bottle for free and im so grateful. absolutely gorge, but not something i could wear daily. maybe in special situations.

I still have half of 100ml bottle and for the life of me I cant smell that hazelnut/nutella note everyone talks about. All the years I have it I just cant smell it. I get more of a citrus top note with patchouli and vetiver. Still stunning.

All the things that have been said by other posters here - it's such a beautiful fragrance. I'll just add that I had a small sample vial I brought for a trip across country. The lid wasn't quite secure after I applied and the scent kept drifting up from my travel bag under the seat. Once we took off I was absolutely drawn to the smell and kept pulling my bag back onto my lap for another chance to pick up the scent. Of the many, many flankers to the historic Mugler line this is one of the few that captures the ethos of the original.

Wearing this in the summer is awesome and a kind of spell that makes beautiful chic women sniff and compliment you #idgaf

So, I've never smelt the real juice. I accidently got a copy of wst I thougteas Angel, but it's Angel Muse. OMFG, it's memorising. It's Shark perfumes in UK if you want try. I just bought full size bottle. It makes me feel sexxxyyy

I love this scent. Every single scent that I love gets discontinued. I wish they would bring this one back and a shout out to Safari for women by Ralph Lauren.. bring that one back too.

This is hazelnut cream dragged through orbit by vetiver. Angel Muse opens with a warm, glowing hazelnut‑cocoa cream that feels edible but never childish - more molten praline dust than dessert. It’s sweet, but textured and slightly mineral, like caramel scraped from a meteor. The vetiver arrives and pulls everything downward. Dry, earthy, almost bitter in the best way, it gives the sweetness weight and stops the fragrance from becoming syrupy. This is the moment Muse becomes interesting: a gourmand with gravity. The dry down is a soft, warm hum - nutty, creamy, and faintly smoky, like cosmic dust settling on warm skin. It’s comforting without being boring, sweet without being pink, and wearable without losing its Mugler strangeness. If Angel is a star, Muse is a satellite: warm, glowing, quietly orbiting. Not as dramatic as the main line, not as resinous or molten, but still unmistakably Mugler. A Mugler for people who want something warm, slightly strange, and quietly addictive. I was cleaning out drawers late at night and found an ancient sample of this I had never opened. I put it on out of curiosity and this perfume is certainly… patchouli heavy. So much patchouli and vetiver. And it’s STRONG and it LASTS. Not for me. Now I have to go to bed smelling patchouli.

awful opening, heavy on screetchy loud sour patchouli. Still proeminent in the dry down but a little sweeter (more pleasant) but i would not advise to anyone who hates patchouli. I bought it just because someone compared it to my fav pistachio fragrance Angel stellar - they are totally different. A dislike overall

The deep dry down that lingers with this is so delicious and addictive I genuinely cannot wrap my head around them discontinuing this one? I can’t understand that. I have a 30ml, 50ml and half of a travel size and I’ll cherish every drop. Lots of original Angel DNA here but I always would smell Angel and think .. I wish that chocolate sweetness was dialed up more. Thats what angel muse is. Perfect

I'll disregard everything I said in my previous review. This is now one of my favorite MUGLER fragrances, and I'm so glad I snagged two 100ml bottles of it! Known as the first-ever "vetiver gourmand," I can totally appreciate the fragrance composition now after sampling it again. Warm and fresh spices clash beautifully with cocoa powder and a rich hazelnut accord, while the vetiver and patchouli continue to amplify. What a masterpiece of beautifully balanced, earthy-sweet contrasts! It is undoubtedly one of the best Quentin Bisch creations, and it is absolutely tragic that it was sadly discontinued during the pandemic.

It's not bad. Smells like a nice root beer soda or something. Not in love with though like the OG Angel but it's nice. Tried a mini sample first as the ebay vintage bottles are so pricey and I'm glad I did as it's not what I expected. I was hoping the Hazelnut notes would be allot more noticeable but on me I can't detect them so it's becomes a strange smell of Vetiver.

I’m in love with this perfume. If you’re planning to buy it for a chocolate or Nutella-like scent, don’t — you can find other fragrances with a more accurate chocolate smell. But if you love the scent of vetiver and patchouli, you’ll absolutely adore it. It has amazing projection and sillage. Mugler at his best! How can a perfume smell so much of hazelnut spread but in a perfumey way? Well, Mugler managed to pull this off perfectly. It is gourmand but not cloying or food like, I don't know how to describe it even, it's one of the best perfumes I have ever smelt and I will forever be sad that this gem has been discontinued.

Such a shame that this has been discontinued. Someone who used to be close to me wore this, and it always smelled divine. Angel Muse is a well-balanced, nutty, chocolatey patchouli fragrance that is truly second to none, in my opinion. While I don’t recall distinctly smelling pink pepper and grapefruit, their presence is felt—they provide just enough lift and freshness to keep the darker, more gourmand facets of the composition from becoming too rich. The Angel DNA (which I also really enjoy) is here, but where Angel envelops the wearer like a heavy winter jacket, Angel Muse feels more like a cashmere sweater. Both fragrances will keep you warm (and are easily noticeable), but much like the analogy implies, Angel can come across as very thick, while Angel Muse offers a softer, more luxurious, and lightweight wearing experience. If you manage to come across a bottle for a decent price, just get it and thank me later. In the off chance you don’t care for it, PM me and I’ll take it off your hands!

This is a gentler, more enveloping composition, wrapped in a comforting, sweet veil. It feels calmer, more subdued, and quietly beautiful. Longevity is very good, though the sillage is noticeably softer than that of Angel. A true gem—one can only regret that it has been discontinued. A beautiful fragrance, well worth owning alongside Angel. I adore it.

Angel Muse, my true love. What would I ever do without you? I loved the original Angel, and I still do, but Muse is more gentle, more friendly, more wearable. A lot of the same DNA but somehow softer and yummier. I would bathe in this if I could. Muse is sexy. Muse is a woman taken seriously. Muse turns heads when she walks into a room. Muse is remembered. Warm, spicy, nutty, sweet, rich and decadent. Patchouli in its prettiest form. I am SO SAD this was discontinued, I will be savoring my bottle for as long as humanly possible.
