To whoever snatched those super cheap 3.4 oz bottles of this on Mercari a few days ago: I AM SO JEALOUS!!! $50 for an almost full bottle?? Then $70 for a BNIB?? OMFG!!!! 😫 I sold a 1.7 oz for $120 and regretted it ever since.

bring this BACK

Анонім★★★★★

I hope they bring it back. I don't want to even start to list why. I've never seen a perfume being discontinued so fast!

Анонім★★★★★

Please Mugler bring this masterpiece back, this is without a doubt the best fragrance to incorporate the passion fruit note ever

Анонім★★★★★

Angel Muse EDT is a wonderful chocolatey passion fruit universe. It's so lovely; I'm not a fruit lover, but this Mugler is simply extraordinary... I still hope they bring it back; it's pure magic. When I wear it, I'm amazed; it makes me think what wonderful perfumes Mugler used to make. What marvelous molecules these perfumes contained! You had to have personality to wear them, and now we're always searching for perfumes with real personality, and many of us miss the magic of this brand.

I have a 50ml bottle left, no box . Message me if u want to buy. It’s my back up. Only selling one.

I love this. I find a very slight similarity to Angel Eau Croisiere 2019 on the drydown, but it is so caramel-y, and the fruitiness is a different type of fruitiness. It's quite different from the original Angel, unlike the eau de parfum Muse, but it is amazing. Think of an exotic vacation in the early 2010s

Wow, this one is actually worth the hype. You know how you build an image in your head of how something will smell? This actually smells exactly how I pictured. Sweet, juicy passionfruit over a rich chocolatey patchouli and nutella. There's definitely patchouli in here despite it not showing up in the notes. It's strong and lasts a long time too. I can still smell it on my skin after a full day of work. I haven't smelled the EDP but I can't imagine it smelling better than this because the passionfruit here is so damn good, and it still has a very deep and warm base that you wouldn't normally expect of an EDT.

Анонім★★★★★

The dry down smells so much like Flowerbomb. The edp is my preferred choice

Анонім★★★★★

Smells very similar to the Muse EDP and other Angel Flankers like Fruity Fair, Aqua Chic etc. it definitely has less sillage/projection than the EDP. I don’t know if owning all four of the above mentioned is necessary lol. One muse and one legere/ light & fruity offering should suffice. Because at the end of the day they all smell like sweet patchouli to me. (I love them so much hehe)

Divine.Scrumptious. It has nutella & chocolate notes that are superb. The weird thing about this is that it starts fresh sweet and summery like chocolate ice cream with nutella topping and a fresh icy exotic fruit sorbet on the side, but in the end it becomes Christmase-y smelling almost like a ginger biscuit.Still very chocolatey. I have 2 bottles of this.Much more wearable than the OG Muse.

As many already said, it's so sad this is discontinued, together with the EDP. I am lucky enough to own both, both are divine, but this one has a particular special place with me. I love the passionfruit and hazelnut cocoa combination. Of course its way more complex and definitely gourmand... It actually reminds me of the best ice cream variant at a local gelateria, its dark and normal chocolate with passionfruit and it's the best! But than that drydown... 💖 Love it, its creamy, sweet... woody... I really love how creative and different Mugler were, I am saying were, but with hope... Haven't seen anything groundbreaking since they discontinued the Aura and Muse line... Goddess is really nice, but its lacking the daring character I like Mugler for, such a same... In the meantime... I am keeping my eyes open for a backup bottle as refills pop up sometimes still ✨

we are losing crucial recipes

Imagine Muse edp put on a sparkly gloss and got a citrus infused glow up.. suddenly she’s brighter, juicier, and even more irresistible. This is THAT scent. The added candied citrus in here is heavenly! It takes everything addictive about the OG and injects it with this juicy, zesty, passionfruit-kissed brightness that makes the whole thing feel so fruity fresh sweet YUM YUM perfection. Still got that nutella vetiver magic, still got that deep, sexy warmth, but with an effervescent kick that makes it even more wearable. I LOVEEE the edp, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE the edt too! It’s like Mugler said, “Let’s take one of the best gourmands ever and make it even more addictive,” and then immediately discontinued it because they hate joy. I am devastated. This deserved better. ILY FOREVER ANGEL MUSE 💗

A lady at work kept walking past me with a beautiful perfume on. I finally asked her what she was wearing and she replied “Sofia” I couldn’t believe it, I would’ve bet money it was Angel muse edt. I’ve been saving mine since it was discontinued, now I’m buying a bottle of Sofia so that I can spray freely and get the same feel. Anyway. I’m sad they discontinued this beautiful fragrance.

Анонім★★★★★

These both got discontinued? Damn… I have a 50ml little used bottle of the EDT and a tiny 5ml miniature of the EDP. I have always liked them despite the patchouli which I don’t enjoy in other fragrances. Sad to see that loreal even discontinued these two… they literally killed the brand by getting rid of every single interesting perfume. But anyway, the EDT is sugary, fruity, and sour in a mouth-watering way. It does a funny thing to my brain where i can mentally taste granulated sugar when smelling the perfume. It has always been a late autumn and winter scent for me. It also smells dirty but in a good way. I will cherish it until it goes bad.

This is incredibly beautiful, playful, whimsical but still warm and inviting, and is one of the very few predominantly fruity fragrances that isn’t anchored by florals, that I can actually rock with. This is a BEAUTIFUL passionfruit with hazelnut and patchouli. I love that even when I overspray, it’s richer, warmer and simultaneously brighter, and it doesn’t smell like I ate an entire bag of candy. It never goes into cloyingly sweet territory. The original Muse EDP has something that reminds me of an herbal tea note that is absent in this eau de toilette. The EDT is brighter, more cheerful, better for spring/summer, but in all the months I’ve worn it, whether it was hot, warm, balmy or cool, maybe it’s due to the crippling humidity in North Carolina, but this fragrance just does NOT want to stick to my skin. Perhaps if I lived in a slightly drier climate, it would last longer? I’m not sure. However, it doesn’t last on me AT ALL, which is uncharacteristic of Mugler fragrances. I can smell it on moisturized skin for only 2.5 hours, the projection is extremely low, and then it’s gone. It’s been like this ever since I got it, and hasn’t strengthened throughout the years I have had it. I purchased mine from fragrancenet a couple years ago, so it’s most definitely authentic. I have stored it properly, but It just doesn't last. I’m going to find a new home for it soon, sadly.

Absolutely amazing juice fruits and red berries (I can smell something like red currant) mixed with beautiful hazelnut nuts spread note. This might be an odd food combination but it works perfectly well in this fragrance. Classic chocolat-y Angel base is also present here but it’s not that dominant. Follow me on IG: scent.guide

Probably one of the very few patchoulis I can stand. A sweet grapefruit chocolate with a powdery almost herbal woody background (I think that’s the patchouli my nose is picking up). I really liked it when I had it, but can be very cloying and overpowering. As with most of mugler perfumes, this is a beast in performance. If u love chocolate or fruity patchouli scents, you’ll like this one. 🍊🍫🍃

Анонім★★★★★

This could've been perfect without the akigalawood in the base making it reek of patchouli. They should've amped up the caramel and lessened the vetiver as well.

Анонім★★★★★

The combination of passionfruit and cassis is a scent straight from hell! Absolutely disgusting

Анонім★★★★★

If Angel Muse is Angel’s hotter sister, this is the hot sister’s even HOTTER bff. They’re just those girls that KNOW they're those girls and they want everyone around them to know they are in fact those girls! Both are undisputed baddies, but something about the EDT is so refreshing.. at least, in comparison to Muse OG. Definitely still on the heavier side overall, but in comparison I think the passionfruit really helps this shine more for every day use and give a much appreciated dose of citrusy fruity freshness while still retaining the classic muse dna we all love. Basically smells like Muse OG but just a bit lighter with more of a candied citrusy fruity aspect. I’m legit devastated they’re both discontinued now because I genuinely consider them some of the best perfumes of all time..

A side by side comparison of both Muses, EDP and EDT, on each arm layered over a base of Iso E Super (to really draw out the notes and nuances). A beautiful fragrance. More fruit forward than, but not as saccharine as, the EDP -- giving it freshness and a lighter feel. EDT lacks the deep punch 👊🏼 of patchouli that is way prominent in the EDP. An addition of cassis gives this a slight floral accord. I do find the patchouli + vetiver, along with a lack of the tropical fruit as found in here, makes the chocolate note in the EDP version stand out more. You still get a cocoa accord here, it's just not as obvious. It's more on the caramel side than the overt chocolateyness of EDP. Overall, this one is a slightly less sweet, drier (musky, even), fruitier, and lightly floral version of the EDP. I notice the EDP has a bigger sillage, whereas the EDT sits closer to the skin, and has just a tad less longevity. I do love both fragrances, and it's almost impossible to choose a preference; as one is clearly for the colder season, while this one is better suited to warmth and humidity due to it's lighter, floral, dry white wine-like quality. Which is precisely how I'll compare the two! If you love a smooth, deep red wine, or a sweet rosé (or dark or milk chocolate), get the EDP. If you prefer a cool, dry, tart and fruity white wine (or ruby or white chocolate), go for the EDT. If you live in a climate with distinct seasons (hot humid summers & bitterly cold winters) like I do (Iowa 🙋🏼♀️🌽🌪️🐮🐷), do both (if you're lucky to find them)! 🍷 vs 🥂

This is my SOTD for today after a long time. It macerated a lot. So yummy and gorgeous with amazing scent trail 🥰

Анонім★★★★★

I can't feel any caramel at all. To my nose it smells the same with the original Muse, the only small difference are some sour notes intermixed, probably the passion fruit or/and the lemon, which are not that great. I regret buying both, one would have been enough.

Анонім★★★★★

This one was a slow-to-love for me. Snagged a bottle for a steal and my first thought was disappointment… it’s not nearly as fruity as I thought it would be. BUT! All the Nutella sweetness and passionfruit freshness come out to play in the drydown, and then I’m happy. I just don’t care for the opening of this one. In comparison, the EDP is more linear: Nutella and vetiver combine to smell a bit minty. Both EDP and EDT are worth a try for patchouli-haters IMO, since it plays a supportive role and isn’t as loud as in Angel itself.

Анонім★★★★★

Oh wow this one is sooo beautiful. It’s so much nicer than the edp, which I also own. My bottle is vintage and very strong and it projects very well, don’t know why it’s called an edt when it out performs the edp. IF you can find a vintage bottle, buy it, don’t hesitate, it’s truly beautiful . I’m so glad I have a large bottle of this beautiful perfume. Just like my vintage Angel bottle from 1998, I’m not ever letting these go. This one is even harder to find. I wanted to buy a back up. So far nobody is parting with their bottle. I don’t blame them.

Анонім★★★★★

Citrusy fruity chocolate. Not for everyone, but I enjoy it. Lasts for 8+ hours and the sillage is strong.

Анонім★★★★★

Not for me! It didn’t make me feel very clean, nor was it the type of chocolatey fruity mix I was anticipating 😞 … I don’t like how the notes reacted with my skin and body chemistry. It was eventually decluttered it sadly, I like the original better and what it offers to me personally.

Анонім★★★★★

This is not at all what I expected. Almost immediately after first spritz I smell a strong, dry, chocolatey patchouli. Quite harsh. And that’s almost it. After a while I can detect som hazelnut, some citrus, and, if I strain my nose, perhaps a hint of caramel. Very faint. No freshness, no tropicalness, no fruits. Not unpleasant, only “ eh…?” No longevity to speak of. Quite underwhelming, but I guess it’s just my luck and my skin chemistry.
