Angel Nova

The opening is so fine. Sweet and fruity, quite pleasant. But the dry down is spicy in that not nice way. This is the worst flanker of Angel. I don't say it is very bad, but I expected much more from Angel Mugler. I love the original, Fantasm is my guilty pleasure, but this, this is so ordinary, I feel it everywhere. nothing specjal.

The opening is so sweet, but it fades so fast and the dry down is so SPICY. Spices spices for my nose!!!! Am I the only one who had this experience!!! Not sweet at all in the dry down just spices

I still get the OG DNA but this is much juicier, slightly sweet. It’s literally mouth watering. As always, i love the mugler angel line. You definitely get the raspberry but its not artificial.

This is honestly too strong for me. 1-2 sprays would be enough. Get Lattafa Mayar instead (considering the fact it is way cheaper). Smells exactly like Angel Nova, just less strong. Love using Lattafa Mayar during the summer, for the beach, and in hot/humid environments. Note: Feel Angel Nova leans more into the raspberry note, while Lattafa Mayar is more balanced & refreshing. They smell pretty similar though.

This smells great at first but then it is too spicy and oudey after it settles I don't like Oud too much but maybe for winter I will like it right now in August I don't like it. The raspberry doesn't last

Angel Nova is a beautiful, sweet, and undeniably feminine fragrance. The juicy fruity opening blends beautifully with the rose, creating a scent that feels bright, playful, and elegant without ever becoming overpowering. There is nothing Angel about this but that's the way I like it!! This is like fruit punch or juice, but candied! The Angel label made me really hesitant but I lit up when I smelled this! If you want to smell like a pop princess while owning the beautiful Angel bottle, this is the fragrance for you!

I don’t understand why this was marketed as an Angel flanker as it bears no relation to Angel whatsoever. There is no Angel DNA present at all. It feels like it should have been sold as a stand alone Mugler fragrance. I tried the tester in a department store and had to immediately head for the bathroom and wash it off! It’s overwhelmingly sweet - and I like a sweet fragrance. It’s so unbelievably sweet that any notes are lost on me. I’m clearly not the target buyer, and despite genuinely believing that you should wear any perfume you like regardless of your age, I can’t imagine anyone not very young choosing to wear it. Don’t be taken in by the Angel label.

this one to me is proof that people can change so drastically in just a year or two because i wore it all the time back then and now i mostly wear strange fougeres and unexplainable niche. it's so fun and appealing, and such a memory rush. i say this is for the party girls who love attention. not for me, but very good if you're hyper feminine and love compliments. <3

Definitely smells like Very Good Girl. The rose note made me gag. My fault, I know I despise VGG! It’s rare for me to dislike a Q.B. creation, but they can’t all be winners!

the wood accord they used in this is incredible. it’s such a nice compliment to the fruity notes, it allows for the scent to come off much more sexy than it would have been with your standard sandalwood or what have you. though not quite as much of a commanding presence as the original Angel, she will certainly turn some heads. absolutely signature scent worthy, my favorite of all the Angel flankers

I've been searching for a new signature scent for myself and this is it! Such a nice sweet/floral smell that's perfect for the spring/summer time. I'm not sure if i'm smelling much of the litchi but definitely a lot of the raspberry mixed with the rose note. It's pretty strong and has a great sillage so a little bit goes a long way. I've layered it with the eos pomegranate raspberry body spray and it's absolutely divine. My only gripe is the bottle, while it's very cute and unique, it's a bit annoying to not be able to set the bottle upright and it has no cap which is also a bit weird to me but other than that this is a 10/10 scent for me!

First and foremost, this is clearly a fragrance in the vein of PDM’s *Delina*—specifically, a rose-and-lychee profile. However, there are significant differences: a very sweet, juicy raspberry note and an oud base that, while not overpowering, is definitely present. While I find *Delina* to be a scent for any season, this one is distinctly suited for spring and summer; the lychee and raspberry notes feel like they’ve come straight from the fridge, there’s a real freshness to it. The sillage and longevity are absolutely beast-mode, fitting for an *Angel* flanker, so it’s best worn outdoors; it plays so beautifully on the skin in the summer heat! It’s very playful and kinda smells like an expensive cocktail, makes me wanna play Kim Petras and go on the party on a 20 cm heels

Very nice raspberry, rose and lychee scent. Such a satisfying feminine scent. Missing the gourmand Angel DNA altho has the soapiness of the EDT on the dry down but the fruitiness makes it way better. Cant go wrong. Way better than a certain brand’s flanker with a similar scent profile .

oh my god i love this girl. she is like a rich party girl socialite. very very sweet and too sweet for some 100% but she is the best fruity fragrance, has a nice clean freshness to it that stops her from becoming too juvenile. love love love her will die wearing her

A soapy, sweet raspberry. A youthful, summery scent, that doesn't feel childish. This obviously feels like Summer, but I think that sweetness would thrive in cold weather. I'm sure for some this would be too sweet, but it's so addictive and dreamy. It won't be my choice, but it's so pretty.

My bottle is completely empty, which says everything. Fruity sweet opening to mid , the dry down is very fresh woody almost like a men fragrance. Last very long and project very well. It may advertise toward women but i think man can wear it too cuz on man skin it will react differently, To me it's more unisex than some unisex fragrance.

Beautiful perfume, reminds me a little bit of Mind Games Jadoube just a bit sweeter and doesn't last longer than 2 hours on my skin. I had to return it, and will save money for the real deal MG.

I had a really bad experience with this fragrance at work, and I wanted to share it here. I’m not the biggest fan of rose or lychee in perfumes. However, I absolutely had to buy this because I love all things Mugler, and my perfume obsession actually started years ago with Alien (it’s such a shame that the reformulation ruined it, because i really loved the original). I bought the first version of Angel Nova, the one with the standing star bottle. In my opinion, the scent was just “okay.” Nothing special. I wore it occasionally at home. Last week, however, I decided to wear it to work because I wanted to properly test how it performed on my skin throughout the day. About halfway through the day, something very strange happened. First, one of my coworkers started coughing uncontrollably when I walked past her. Then another coworker pulled me aside and told me that I was giving off a really awful, sharp smell. She said she hadn’t even been able to enter the restroom after I had used it because the scent was so unpleasant and bitter that she had to turn around and leave. She told me this kindly because she wanted me to know that my fragrance had changed into something truly horrible over the course of the day and people were starting to talk about it. I asked her to smell my wrist, where I had applied the perfume, and she said that the terrible smell was exactly that. I happened to have the bottle with me, so I asked her to smell it as well, and she confirmed that the sharp, unpleasant smell was coming from Angel Nova. A third coworker had even gone to speak to my supervisor and asked her to ask me whether I had accidentally put on a spoiled perfume or something, she had a asthma attack because of it. The perfume wasn’t spoiled, it smelled exactly the way it was supposed to. It just reacted with my skin chemistry in a really bad way. I could only smell the same Angel Nova that I had been smelling all day. I didn’t smell anything different. In the end, I had to go and wash it off completely. Although the bottle is beautiful, I have to sell this perfume. Apparently, it had smelled good during the first half of the day but later everyone thought it smelled absolutely awful on me. Normally I receive a lot of compliments on my fragrances almost daily. But at least in warm weather, this fragrance seems to turn into something extremely unpleasant to other people’s noses after a while. At least for me.

Delicious syrupy lychee. If you were pretty and wore Ibiza Hippie and Sexy Graffiti in your teens and 20’s… this is what you graduate to, Nova. Smells like you grew up, stayed gorgeous and live a spoiled life. One of the best sweet fruity designer fragrances in my opinion.

Ok, I can really smell the rose in this one which is ok but not ideal since I'm not much of a rosy girl. But I find it incredibly suitable for the summer (those hotter days). One of these days I decided to layer this with Irressistible by Givenchy and actually it worked exceptionally well.

It's a very beautiful, light fruity, slightly rosey perfume that opens with a slightly shampoo-like scent. It retains that fruity character as it dries, becoming a bit more woody with the Akigalawood notes. I absolutely loved the opening. It also gave me a slightly syrupy vibe. I think the original Angel is a bit heavy and requires a certain age. I didn't have the chance to try the first batches, but I don't get along very well with the current version. This one feels like a slightly less noticeable, fruity version of the original Angel, but more geared towards a younger age group. I found the performance and longevity quite successful. It stayed on my arm until the next day. I experienced the sourness I generally get with raspberry perfumes as it lingered on my skin. It gradually turned into a cheap body spray scent. Therefore, like all Angel perfumes, I think this one should be tried and used for a while before buying. Although I liked the opening, I didn't particularly enjoy the drydown, so it remained just a liking.

I received a sample of Angel Nova with a Mugler purchase, and I regret not trying this beauty sooner! Immediate opening smells like berry cotton candy before developing a tart yet pleasant woodiness. Litchi is not a note I typically like, but I love its presence here. This is one of the better fruity florals I've tried, and I ended up ordering a travel size during Ulta's current sale. :)

Orange juice, fresh cut wood, bright juicy florals and some screamwood in the back. Weirdly reminds me of a liddle kiddle doll from the 70s. Dry down is more like shampoo on me. Very perfumed fruity floral with the spiky woods never coming up strong enough to eclipse, but marked as a high hot wood in the back. Not my thing at all.

As one whose skin eats fragrance, it is stunning how much performance I get out of this product. On my skin the opening lasts a very long time (~3 hrs), which in my experience, is highly unusual. I hope all buyers of this scent are blessed with the same experience!

Absolutely gorgeous fragrance to my nose! I don't usually stop people and ask them what they're wearing. Usually I already know what scent someone has on, or it isn't particularly exciting when I do smell it. I had to ask the woman wearing this one what it was. My wife and I have and have had several Muggler Angel and A*men in our collection, none of the feminine propositions have tickled my olfactories in quite a pleasant way as this. The DNA is somewhat familiar, somewhat reminiscent of PDM Delina and Carolina Herrera Very Good Girl: roses, berries, and litchi are the stars in all three. All three also had Quentin Bisch cooking then up. Where with Delina you get a dark depth of, what smell to me like, incense and wood with a much stronger rose, Very Good Girl seems to drop some of the roses' depth and lean heavily into the sweet base notes and smells like there have been additions of other softer florals, Supernova amps up the fruity notes to the extreme. It reminds me of strawberry jam, sweet and delicious smelling! The rose is perfectly balanced and it is an absolute delight to experience. Supernova may not come across as intense as Delina, but it's definitely a very different mood. Supernova is bright and ripe, where Delina is a brooding dark composition. VGG is kind of the outlier and for all of the wrong reasons: too me, VGG is a muted composition, very restrained and safe by comparison. It straddles the line between Delina and Supernova but doesn't particularly excell past either of them in any areas. VGG plays it too safe, and while pleasant, it is boring in my opinion compared to the other two. Performance is incredibly good, projection is room filling and longevity is excellent. SN is definitely more intense than VGG, the sweetness is derived more from the fruits than the base, while it shares notes and DNA with Delina, it is just as intense but in a very different way. By classic fragrance gender conventions, I typically think many are unisex leaning one way or another. I think this one definitely leans feminine. This could be great for layering with other things to make it more wearable for men (Ombre Leather would likely be a good one!) I do have to disagree with the general consensus hear and say that I think SN will actually play better in the cold than the extreme heat, even though it is four season safe. SN definitely has a lot of sweetness to it that may be overwhelming on the hottest days, but this same quality will also bolster it on the coldest. I absolutely love this juice! I love Delina too. They use similar notes but balance them in very different ways and it works very well for both and they could be used for very different occasions. Supernova for the days, Delina for the nights! I can't say enough good about this one and it's definitely one of my favorite fragrances marketed to women. 94/100

Angel Nova by Mugler is pure summer in a bottle! 🍓🌹✨ This is hands down my most complimented perfume out of my entire collection. The opening is bursting with juicy, fruity sweetness that instantly puts me in a good mood. As it develops, the most gorgeous jammy rose appears – rich, vibrant, and absolutely addictive. What I love most is how unique it smells. It's fruity without being childish, sweet without being sickly, and the rose is modern rather than old-fashioned. Every time I wear it, someone asks what perfume I'm wearing! The longevity is fantastic, and it leaves the most beautiful scent trail. If you love fruity florals and want a fragrance that feels feminine, fun, and confident, Angel Nova is a must-try. Divine, uplifting, and impossible not to love. A true 10/10 fragrance for me! 💕

This was a recent blind buy. I purchased a travel sized bottle. I like it! It is pretty fresh smelling. Definitely picking up a lot of the raspberry note, with a bit of a soapy powdery smell. I agree with others saying it doesn't resemble Angel. I do not get any of the original Angel DNA in this. It is a nice scent for spring and summer. I will use up the travel sized bottle and then make a decision on whether I want a larger bottle of it. Right now, I don't think I love it enough to buy a big bottle though. Edit: I have worn this for a few days now and it has really grown on me even more. I LOVE it now and I think I am definitely getting a bigger bottle. It is very sexy and feminine! Hubby loves it too!
