Aura Mugler Eau de Parfum Sensuelle

I'm looking for this in Canada, I have the original edp and it's amazing!!

This pyramid is wrong. It carries all the notes of the original, but added a bit of gardenia and cinnamon leak and sandalwood

Performance is moderate, sitting closer to the skin than the original, but that only enhances its intimate character. This is not a fragrance that demands attention; it invites people closer. 9/10 - A beautiful reinterpretation of Aura that softens the original's rough edges while preserving its enchanting soul. If the original Aura was the forest witch, Aura Sensuelle is the same witch dressed for an evening rendezvous. That’s the mood - but unlike the original Aura, Sensuelle doesn’t depend on darkness to bloom. It lends itself beautifully to the warmth of mild Spring days, summer nights and early autumn, when gentle warmth lifts the creamy vanilla-orchid and softens the green. Superb Mugler - simply superb.

This was so good. If I could, I would buy stocks in this one and the OG. I am really beginning to think that I am the death toll for all amazing perfume now. Everything I love is discontinued.

I'm pretty sure they just added these notes to the original formula. This is my favorite holiday perfume with its snappy rhubarb, sweet cinnamon, and fresh wintergreen mint

If you are really missing this Parfum, maybe my experience will help you out. I have finished 2 full bottles of Aura Mugler Eau de Parfum Sensuelle. Recently I tried Flora Gorgeous Gardenia Intense by Gucci, I felt those two are similar from the top to the middle. NOT DUPE, but very similar. Top - middle, Both of them have Gardenia & Sandalwood notes. Aura sensuelle mentioned green notes, FGG intense has Gucci patchouli ( green/a bit sharp/masculine vibes). Middle - last, Aura sensuelle moved to musky & powdery. FGGI moved to a bit fruity, greenery & powdery. I re-tried on my skin right & left wrists, at least on my skin they were moved to the very similar way to categorized as the same genre.

I really really enjoy this fragrance. Exactly as it says here it is green and fresh but sweet, I like it a lot better than the original Aura actually. Reason being, the rhubarb in Aura is really sharp and almost painful. In this one, it's softened by the other notes and the initial sharpness d(r)ies down as this frag warms up on the skin. It retains the same sharp stem green along with the powdery soapy throat-feel of the distinctive Aura drydown. It's just much more rounded and comforting. Definitely gives an elevated baby wipe smell lmao. Which crazily enough is a good thing in this case! I'm so glad I was able to find it at a good price, at least relatively speaking for a discontinued fragrance. I highly recommend for anyone who enjoy the Mugler DNA in particular the Aura iteration. I also really like the talisman packaging of the Eau Sensualle! Pink and pretty and kind of opalescent. Reminds me of a girly unicorn vibe from my 90s-00s youth 🦄. The picture doesn't really do it justice. As I'm sure you can imagine, this layers beautifully with neutral to creamy vanillas, to smooth out those bitter balsams I would personally steer clear of the drier, woodier vanillas, but obviously YMMV

I blind bought my bottle when I saw FragranceNet recently had the testers for sale... Worst-case scenario if I didn't like it, then at least it is a pretty bottle to go with my collection of Aura perfumes. 😅 Anyway, right off the bat it does have that green Aura DNA, but not mentholic like the EDP, more in-line with the EDT. Eau Sensuelle definitely does it's own thing with the woody and floral notes. I almost thought I wasn't gonna like this perfume; the gardenia/cinnamon leaf combo is a little bit harsh at first spray, but it tones itself down. The drydown is lovely. It's a floral-y Aura but the musk note is like you are being enveloped in a soft, cozy, warm blanket while sitting in a green forest. lol. If this had a vanilla note like her sisters or was maybe a HINT sweeter, this would be my favorite flanker of the three. But not so, therefore, Eau Sensuelle finishes strong at second place behind the Eau de Toilette in my opinion.

I feel like a super fem alien fairy when I wear this. I say alien because it has this artificial almost lipstick/medicinal quality to it. It’s ethereal and otherworldly with a sweet dry down. She’s an alien witch doctor picking healing herbs in the woods on a breezy, cool spring day.

Blind Bought and just received. Not sure yet. Review pending…. (Go ahead judge me for the BB!) 2 hours in …This is actually really really nice. It’s a little rough out of the gate; but once it dries down, everyone comes together. I get a very soft creamy gardenia that’s rounded with sweet (abstract) green notes. But gourmand WTF??? I would never relate this to a gourmand. It’s a pretty, sexy, sweet green floral with a musky backbone. The sandalwood brings a nice powdered woodiness to the balance. I am not entirely sure what cinnamon leaf is but there is a bit of a dusty spice in the opening, so maybe that’s it. IMO blended very well…there are definitely moments where certain notes stand out, but they all play together nicely. And the gardenia (while present) doesn’t overtake the entire scent which it so often can be accused of. Pleasantly surprised and very happy for the price I paid. The bottle is super fun too! I think this is more of a warm weather appropriate scent, but am interested to see how it transforms in the cold. It’s definitely got some throw and announces its presence. (ETA : I saw someone describe this as soapy …which I would not. But it does have a clean floral thing going on. Soapy is subjective but for me it’s not present here.)

This is my favorite perfume of all time. I was blessed with samples of some older Muglers and fell completely in love with this. There's nothing quite like it outside of the Aura line. It's like the dry down of the Aura EDP, but it skips the strong green opening. It retains a creamy floral base, and it lasts forever. I wore my sample for a lease signing to celebrate. It has been three weeks and I still haven't washed the shirt I wore that day because I like to lift it from the hanger in my closet to smell it. It will be washed and returned to rotation only when the scent of the perfume fades. "Fairycore" is definitely the right way to describe it. It's absolutely beautiful. I snagged an old tester and I'm so excited for it to arrive and to own this stunning bottle and scent for myself.

I really hate musk. Then theres gardenia which I have figured out I don’t like in perfume. It’s just so powdery and cheap smelling like some kind of kids candy

Hi honestly come and go with this I loved it absolutely adored it in the autumn when purchased, fell asleep Wearing it and then found it totally suffocating in the spring had to wash it off my arm, I recently purchased Kylie Jenner Cosmic and there is something in it so remincent that they both smell the same to me apart from a slight more free aquatic edge in Aura Sensuelle very ‘Mum lady perfume’ smell Not fresh not gourmand but sexy ‘perfume ‘ scent not musk but an amalgamation of all skin like cozyness in a comfy cream chenille jumper one minute but as though the central heating is on to high and then the smell becomes over powering stuffy and not clean smelling. For me depends on temperature and season My Man and so many other men seem to love both this and Kylie Cosmic 1 btw have so many compliments on it so who knows ??

smells like Fame by lady gag gag (edit: no It doesnt! much more dark and Deep) gave that one away ages ago but this is very similar. Aura Sensuelle has a nuclear projection. perhaps without the added froot the white florals here are more screechy (first sprays) however it dries down to a sweet scent very yummy and gourmand, reminds me of a flowerbomb without patchouli. This is not a summer fragrance, wish It smelled all the way like the drydown, when the sweetness calms down a lot edit: you know what ? I've been wearing this on the scorching Heat of summer (35°c) and I... cannot get enough of It? Creamy yet Green, what what? It's so good, so addictive, It has like a calming/medicinal quality too, the drydown is wonderful, I wish It lasted forever. I'd say this is a sweeter/fresher version of Dior Addict (regular blue EDP), this subdued sweetness is a beast of it's own, so sad it's discontinued! I really want to try Aura now

Eh, just no. A sweet, green white floral. Quite nice, soapy but strong, and a little bit nauseating. Has a weird note in it that makes it register as "perfumey" in a bad way to me. Turns my stomach.

So mad Mugler discontinued this diva. Have to save mine now. Just so good. Smells almondy and cinnamony to me, perfectly sweet and fresh at the same time, just clean. I love this scent so much

I have yet to smell the OG Aura so I can't compare them, but this fragrance is soft, powdery, and elegant while remaining fresh. The white floral top is beautiful but not unique or anything. I'd say it's similar to a lot of feminine perfumes of the last decade. The way the scent develops over time, however, is mesmerizing and fits the 'sensuelle' theme and the packaging... I felt like a sleepy forest nymph emerging from a delicate flower :D

I remember falling in love with that perfume, love at first sniff ! so I saved up and came back one week later.... GONE ! They discontinued it :( I tried the green version but that one was too green and nasty, this one was the best combo, the perfect sweetness and woondyness together, warm and lovely.

To me this one smells a lot like the EDT, like 95%. Maybe a little less sharp, a little more floral in the opening and a tiny bit of nondescript sweetness in the base. The gardenia used here is not the creamy, buttery kind but the sharp smell from the floral bomb fragrances in the 80s - 90s which make this one feels a little retro in the top. As a whole the fragrance feels kind of redundant and doesn't unique enough to own if you've already have the EDT. Sillage & longevity also on par with the EDT.

This was an impulsive buy and I'm trying to make my mind up on it. It has a really cool sweet floral fresh spice to it, but the beginning has a tartness and that’s a big no-no for me. But it doesn’t last, so maybe I can deal with it? Solid lasting power and when I gave it a full wear it like it more. I sprayed my body down on a warm summer day and fell in love for a few hours. It felt like it would suit most warm-weather occasions, I don’t buy the humid wild spirit ethereal image, but it is unique. Nonetheless, I don’t have as much experience with this fragrance and it’ll be a while before I can wear it again and add an update to this comment.

Imagine sitting by the waterfall in your princess dress bare foot dangling your feet in cold water, braiding flowers in your long hair. I don't know how else to describe this smell other that that. I have this perfume for years and i'm using it very little because it's impossible to find it now and i'm scared i'm going to run out.

Aura sensuelle is perfect under cloudy and humid weather around 20 degrees. Sensual and intoxicating. And unusual as the original. Definitely has the original Aura’s DNA, but it is like the needles of original's are taken off. So it becomes softer, sweeter, rounder and more wearable.

I have a love hate relationship with this. It's on the verge of being too cloying in the beginning. On the other hand, if I can get past the openning (which is hard sometimes depending on mood) it's middle and drydown are a love. The beginning is a sour sweet candy smell, in the middle it's a musky sweet floral, and drydown spicy sweet floral. I wouldn't say this is a blind buy perfume but I would definitely find a way to try it out because it's unique and wearable. It's summer here now and I'm wearing it now in 80 degree weather and it's a bit too sweet, I think it would work well in spring, fall, and winter. Bottle is a great representation of the scent's unqiueness.

Love at first sniff! I LOVE this scent. Better than the OG. It’s sweeter, softer, and more floral while retaining the aura DNA and woodsy with a touch of spice dry down. Pretty, wearable, and interesting! Fairy core to the max.
