Silver Musk

One of the best fragrances and easy to wear from this house. You will go nose blind to this fragrance but trust me other people can still smell you and they will love it.

Bought a sample of this cause i love everything musk. I seem to be partly anosmic to it unfortunately (or it's genuinely that weak). I can sense that it's good and high quality, but i feel like im only getting like 10% of its true strength. Feels soft, pillow-y, bright, gentle, clean. a sheer white fabric covering pure human skin. There are some aspects on paper that i'm definitely losing on skin :/ specifically some sort of neutral, delicate floral sweetness. Which is a shame. on paper this is like an 8/10 and on my skin it becomes 6.5-7/10

Crisp, soapy clean musk, but this one LASTS and PROJECTS. Only one spray was enough to make me smell good all day long, and I got a lot of compliments which is pretty rare for this type of clean scents lol. Definitely no need to overspray! I'm pretty sure the notes on fragrantica aren't accurate, I get whiffs of neroli and soapy lily-of-the-valley. Will be purchasing a full bottle as soon as I finish my sample.

Since my previous review, I have been wearing this everyday. Something I noticed was - For an aura of color it gives me a white / slight yellow vibe. - I received lots of compliments, if that matters to you. So the general public perceives it as a good smell. - Lasts all day - Easy to get used to, you won’t be distracted by the smell - 2-3 sprays are all that’s needed. There is no need to reapply. If you want to smell really fresh and clean, without branching into stereotypical fragrances, this will leave a lasting scent. I had a coworker say I smell like clean laundry, another coworker saying I smelt like “a new toy” and went into strong detail about how a new toy would smell fresh out of the box. They noted that the smell would waft throughout the day, but wasn’t a persistent one so it took them a bit to find it was myself creating said smell. This is my go-to when nothing else seems to work. You don’t have to be in a certain mood, weather or vibe for this. It works perfectly for any occasion.

Unbelievably beautiful and soft musk, extremely warm on skin and almost addictive. Miles ahead of other "simple musk" fragrances, as someone who has been anosmic to the good majority of them. By far the most wearable from the Nasomatto line.

I have the feeling this oily tincture skin musk is built to be highly reactive to individual skin chemistry and therefore highly personalized. Here’s my experience: Head: Warm skin on the North Sea beach. Very nice. Heart: My toddler, having pooped himself earlier, is now bathed and freshly diapered and wiped and crawling all over me. This is unfortunate. Base: Snuggling with someone pretty in air-dried white linen sheets. I would like to skip from head to base, but I know that’s not how it works. 7/10

It’s hard to detect after awhile, on occasion throughout the day you’ll catch whiffs of it. Sits close to the skin, you might not have a radiant glow of fragrance. It lasts all day, this is pretty good for subtle scents, you will be confident knowing you smell good if someone were to sit next to you. I really like it, it’s reserved for those only within proximity. I cannot smell this after 5 minutes, it drives me insane. Everyone else seems to say it’s there, I hit myself with it 3x at 11am, when 11pm hits my gf said she can still smell it and she barley has to lean in to get a whiff of it.

like getting blasted in the face with an air conditioner that has a pile of divinely fresh linens sitting in front of it. plus a tiny little bit of I-don't-know-what.

Smells like nothing of the bottle but mixing into skin is great sweet fruity light and airy. It’s not dirty nothing like that. Might have to get a full bottle damn

I love, love, love musks. I had high hopes for this one. The first 30 mins I only get screechy cleaning detergent. As it settles it turns into a woody licorice. Not the salt or sweet candy but the licorice roots you can get at the health market. Very interesting but too masculine for me.

While it's not a bad fragrance, Silver Musk simply isn't for me. It marks my first foray into heavy, strictly animalic musks, and I find it leans a bit too masculine for my comfort zone. It is entirely devoid of sweetness. The most striking part is the dry down, which takes on a distinct inky, papery character—evoking the exact nostalgia of flipping through an old magazine and catching the scent of exposed rub-on samples in the margins. A pass for me, but a fascinating blend nonetheless.

This has been my true signature scent for years now. No matter what others I try or how experimental I get, I always come back to Silver Musk. There is truly nothing like it. Clean, sexy, modern… it’s hands down a masterpiece with amazing longevity.

Think walking out of a hot shower with this high end Dial soap smell. Silver musk adapts to your body chemistry amplifying the "Smell of You". 9/10

This feels nostalgic for me and I can’t put my finger on it. It’s very clean and fresh, I have a hard time getting fragrances to last on my skin but I’m getting 7-8 hours out of this easily. On the blotter it doesn’t smell like much at all but when it blends with your natural skin oils it becomes addictive. It’s subtle but not weak and you will be noticed. I can’t wait to see how it layers with my other fragrances. Unlike Sadonaso, which I also own and love, this is an easy reach that I want to wear every day so I just wish the bottle was bigger. I’m definitely going to purchase another when I run out.

Easy, clean, crisp musk. reminds me of cold mountain air. At the same time, just the slightest bit of funk about it. Something very attractive about it. Spray it on liberally while your first fragrance is starting to die down for a nice, airy boost. If you took Bvlgari Pour Homme, stripped away the woody and earthy facets and then turned it into an extrait, it might smell something like this.

I like the scent but you will blow through the one ounce bottle quickly if you want anyone to actually smell it. This needs to be a 100ml or at least 75. Smells like like crisp fresh air and is very good, but the small bottle keeps me from buying it again.
