Nefs was the first flanker I owned from their Prestige Collection. It’s beautifully blended, the heaviest and darkest of the Nefs-Shem-Mana trio in my collection, IMHO. I’m tempted to get Hacivat Oud to complete the set but I hardly reach for the 3 I already have. Spending top money to add another bottle to a big collection feels redundant and a bit wasteful. I barely use Hacivat these days either. It’s better to appreciate what I already have than to keep chasing what I don’t.

Does this really smell like Xerjoff Alexandria II

Tried this out yesterday. There isn't much to say as it isn't getting exciting but it is intriguing, for short while. It starts off with raspberry ice cream type of sweetness followed by filthy oud, the barnyard type. Oh and also there is some funkiness to it, like bad smell of cheese, I have no fking idea where from and how... The combo is not very pleasant but for some reason as time progresses the oud evaporates, leaving you sweet raspberry powdery ice cream. Don't ask me how I mean powdery for ice cream but it just smells like it. What surprises me is that I do not smell the whiskey at all and I am very sensitive to anything that has roses and alcoholic drink accords, here none of it is detectable - which is great, means it was all blended very well. The closest thing that this smells to me like is Nawab of oud intensive by Ormond Jayne. Intriguing for sure and I found it for 200 euros at discounter but I am afraid it isn't interesting enough for me to commit. It was nice to test but Nishane seems like is not for me as now I tested almost all of them and this was my last hope to turn things around. Oh well..

Good gawd. What sorcery is this. This is masterful; so impeccably blended that its challenging to pick the notes apart as they sing not just in unison, but also in and out of harmony with each other. It's true, youre going to get rosy, honeyed bug spray on a ripe fig for the first... eh, 10 minutes? And then the magic happens, but good luck trying to describe it. From there all I can say is this sticky, jammy beauty becomes absolutely and distinctly creamy. Its the strangest thing. Im only sad I put off trying this for so long. Best blind buy ever. Maybe 2nd best, only next to Bois d'Amande. What a beauty. Firmly unisex- in fact I think we can call this genderless. Sillage and longevity for miles. Prefers cooler weather, prefers the evening, but daytime friendly too.

At the opening, I picked up whiskey, rose, and fig. After a little while, a saffron that never separates from the rose and an oud coming from the background make themselves known. The sweetness comes from honey, but I don't think the honey is that dominant. Also, even though it's not in the notes, the accords together give a slight vibe of cherry!!!. We can't really call this an oud fragrance; in my opinion, this is a rose fragrance. The main note is rose, and everything unfolds around its axis. If you are looking for an oud fragrance, I'd say go get Nishane Mana. But Im sorry Nishane, I cant call this a masterpiece. Its way overpriced !

Masterpiece! Everything has been said. Best Oud Rosé for me with just the perfect sweetness.

Royalty in a bottle. Just take the cap off and put it in your bed for some hours, and you will feel like Alexander The Great. This and Oud Satin Mood Extrait go well together but only 1 spray of OSM behind your neck and 2-3 of Nefs elsewhere.

You are sitting at a table in a stylish venue. In front of you stands a glass of whiskey-coke cocktail and a bar of white soap. You lean in and smell them both together. Yes, that is it. A unique, profound, and magnificent scent. Bright in the opening, and as it dries down, that white soap emerges from the depths. It truly does justice to the definition of unisex.

Анонім

A lot more approachable than I thought. Yes, this one opens with a slightly funky oud. As it dries down the funkiness goes away very fast. Once it dries down I detect the rose, honey, woody oud, and slight powderiness. Very nice, but overpriced and over hyped.

I feel this is a fragrance where you really do smell all of the notes at some point in time. On the average day to me the rose almost gives it a fruity aspect. Not like fresh fruit but how a prune or raisin can smell sweet. The honey helps the sweetness but it doesn't smell like literal honey. It's almost jam like. I don't know if it is the fig but this is an amazing fragrance. Has some woody and spicy facets to it. I think the opening is amazing. I don't really get a barnyard oud smell but it really shines when it sits for an hour or so. You really do smells all kind of notes each time you wear it. The dry down is predictable and just smells like a beautiful oriental fragrance. Very potent and room filling scent. Lasts forever on skin and days on clothes easily. I have a jacket I sprayed NEFS on last week and it still smells like it. Absolutely worth sampling. Very complex, beautiful, long lasting oriental dried fruity rose fragrance where the rose doesn't smell like Grandma.

Beautiful fragrance. One of my favorite winter scents. Opens up with spices and barnyardy oud, but it quickly settles. (Opening and the price are the main complaints you might hear, which leads me to believe most negative reviews are from people that spreyed it on a strip, smelled the intial 30 secs, and saw the price, or got some mystery 'samples') You gotta let it open up to reveal its beauty, with all the notes. It got so many notes, so how do you describe it? When you combine all the notes you get get dried honeyed fruits, with vanilla whisky, and oriental spices. With oud as the base and, Sparkling, airy, French type rose on top. Unisex, leanings masculine. 10/10

Thought I was going to love this because the notes sounded promising but it smells like Raid to me. But that’s just me, tons of people love this.

What a composition. This is just the most beautiful woman in the world, it’s so nostalgic. The slight “bug spray” facet is one that takes me back many years, something I’ve smelled many times before. It smells like a certain bug spray around a fire, but the feminine jammy parts of this are so alluring. It smells like the campground smoke, the bug spray you apply freshly, and a beautiful woman wearing a perfume all in one scene. Shelf art wouldn’t wear often, personally. Maybe

Nefs by Nishane is pure opulence. The sheen, the density, the way it diffuses, it’s unmistakably high quality. Warm, spiced, and almost cloud-soft in texture. It’s dangerously alluring and on my husband, it makes me feel borderline feral.

Анонім

Wow, what a perfect fragrance, except for the price tag. But I think this fragrance justifies that price tag, this has a surreal quality.

Sexy,really sexy fragrance!!!

An amazing fragrance, I get the leather, whiskey sweet notes right away. A beautiful masterpiece for that unique individual thats creates a bold statement. Love it. Once it drys down, it gives me one of my old school favorite fragrance, Swiss Army for men.

People are way overthinking this one. Nefs is a beautiful composition, period. One of the reasons this is so alluring is because while it feels familiar, it’s also quite different than others in this style of perfumery. Who cares what your gender is or what the occasion for wearing is. I’m wearing it on a Thursday night at home Netflix and chilling and enjoying every time I catch a whiff of this stunner. I’ve also worn it for important nights out. Just be confident about wearing a scent if you like it.

Nefs is everything I wanted a rose-wood combo to be. I have yet to add one to my modest fragrance wardrobe, and Nefs my be the one. It is unlike any fragrance of this kind I have ever smelled. Because it strikes the perfect balance between oud, honey, saffron, fig and rose, it is perfectly suitable fall/winter afternoon and evenings, casual and formal, his, hers and theirs. It envelops you softly and deserves a light touch. So many fragrances these days, including niche ones, try way too hard. This one simply is. Perfect. It is not a fitted black toxedo with shiny shoes nor a backless red satin gown with stilletos. It's laid back elegance. It's never out of style or place. Like a vintage cashmere sweater, a good cup of tea and a library book. It does not scream "look at me", but it makes a lasting impression, like the unassuming colleague who has that inner sort of elegance you wish you were born with or that only comes with age.

Nose Note #892 I couldn't understand the scent for the first few times. It reminded me of many things. Then I realised the obvious - it's just one of the many oud+rose oriental fragrances, not exactly the same but think Oud Ispahan (but less sophisticated), Oud Satin Mood (but less sweeter), Opulent Oud (but sweeter and less oudy), Rouat al Oud (but not sour) the list can go on and on. This is just one of the better examples. Very strong, confidently unisex. I'd say it has feminine touches, but I'm not sure many women would actually wear something like this. It has a lot of presence. Not "eternal", but very long-lasting. Not crazy in projection. It's more than mildly sweet, but far from being sickeningly sweet like Oud Satin Mood. It has a nice floral background. I sense little to no whiskey (remark for ones that hate this note). Saffron is a bit like Haltane/Oud for Greatness, but dialed down a lot. It's somewhat honeyed sweet, but you don't get realistic honey or anything like that. You might as well forget that this note is in the breakdown. Not too overpowering, at least to my nose. Not hugely special, but very nice. It's significantly different to what I have mentioned, but I keep getting the feeling that I've smelled this already. 8/10, my cup of tea

I have the utmost respect for the perfumery here. My only criticism is that this is too masculine for a woman while simultaneously being too feminine for a man. It’s not as much a unisex fragrance as it is an asexual fragrance; still awesome perfumery though. Shame I can’t quite pull it off because I do like it quite a lot.

Does this smell like if Nerds candy was a part time stripper? Yes Do I want to smell like Magic Mike has a sweet & spicy Candy Cane Pole Performance to perform at the Willy Wonka Factory in 5 minutes? Absolutely

Bought a 10ml decadent from this fragrance. The opening is a mess yes, too much alcohol but then the dry down leans towards honey, warm honey. Smells luxurious and it's really long lasting. I sprayed 1 spray on my left hand and Xerjoff more than words on the other hand, few hours later I can barely smell more than words, but Nefs is always there is a beautiful warm honey dry down. Hard to tell when I should wear this. I wouldn't for a date night. This is more like a gathering night with important people or nice family dinner in a nice steakhouse so that in the future when you smell this again all you get is a memory of the dinner you had.

Men says it leans feminine, women say the opposite. Some say it's powerful and others say it's soft. One thing's unmistakable, the quality of the ingredients used! Nothing synthetic or harsh here. It's beautifully blended. Not too floral, boozy, oudy nor sweet but includes all those facets. If I had to choose 1 fragrance for life, this would be it!!!

I have old batch and its smells fantastic.Tried newer ones yesterday and maaan from the cap terrible smell and the opening is way different than older ones. Some batch problems here

The opening smells like feces. 100% thankfully it doesn’t last very long long. The the honey whisky and geranium rose shine through. It’s nice, but there’s better out there for the price⭐️⭐️⭐️

Smells absolutely opulent. But it did give me a headache.

Very pleasant and beautiful parfume, and it keeps getting better and better on dry down. Oud is well blended and not offensive. My only issue is, this leans a lot on feminine side
