Sampled: the opening was a very refreshing, photorealistic calamansi limeade (limau asam boi), plus juniper. It settles into a sort of powdered, high-pitched and a little sharp, mostly musky lemon-lime scent; it kinda reminds me of CK One. Performance is poor past the opening.

A light summertime citrus floral with a soft musky base and hint of sharpness in the opening that helps it pull unisex. It’s light and uplifting, but fleeting. For retail penhaligons price point the short lived longevity is almost certainly not worth it, and this scent comes off a bit generic to me, reminds me of so many other things I’ve smelled before. Nice, but nothing memorable.

would recommend for bedtime, spraying just as you put on a clean sleeping shirt and cotton undies on a summers day with a light drizzle outside pattering on the window. then slipping freshly shaven legs under newly washed sheets and drifting off. truly smells like clouds after rain if they rained the first pull of earl grey tea that i usually throw away. a very botanical scent at first but i tolerate my slight dislike of the bitterness for the whiff of musk i get occasionally which i adore. its a pretty safe buy, also comes in a hand cream which may be a more fitting format for this scent profile. wouldnt recommend for the daytime despite the overwhelming reviews just due to personal preference

Ok, this is a really lovely summer scent, perfect for hot days, but it disappears after 1 hour. It's a bergamot scent, with a bit of creamy jasmine and fir thrown in. I don't smell any rose. However, my main irk with this is the marketing - in no way is this a moon fragrance; it is a sun fragrance if ever there was one. It makes no sense that this perfume bottle is pale purple, silver and white and named Luna. This one should have been called Solaris. Edit: I am obsessed with this fragrance! I can't stop sniffing it - it's such a happy, beautiful scent, and the only citrus perfume I love to the point of having to have it in my life. This is the Citrus One.

smells like an eric rohmer movie!

This is the most perfect summer perfume for hot days, it is wet and sparkling fresh. When i spray it on my hot skin i immediately feel cooled and refreshed. The scent is absolutely beautiful, smells really good, not too flowery, not too citrusy, perfectly balanced. Surprisingly for a fresh scent it also last for some hours, which is really nice

Feeling like a princess whenever I use this one! Perfect for everyday and has a cute ribbon!

Real lemon peel, and floral notes that combine somehow to smell like Evergreen Magnolia! It verges on too sweet in the dry down, but the magnolia tree smell is just so wonderful.

Such an effervescent, clean and dainty opening with the citruses and just a tiny bit of juniper - making it aromatic. Quite strong for me and so cold it reminded me of pine needles and sparkling snow illumanted by moonlight. Rarely do I find a citrus perfume that doesn't go sour or sharp on me, but this one is just perfect. After a hour the lemon slowly and sadly disappears and comes the rose, which is creamy like an expensive lotion. Another rarity, to find a rose perfume that I like, but this rose is just subtle enough not to overpower and just rightly sweet not to give rosebush. Princess in the winter forest vibes, drying down to an elegant romantic rose. Treasure of a perfume, a gem. Wish it lasted longer, but I'll try it on clothes and hair.

the opening of this is seriously beautiful - botanical, fresh, aromatic. the dry down is just rose. just plain rose is nice, but not for this price point. i was expecting much more, it's unfortunate nothing from the opening carries into the dry down - if it did, this would be a quick purchase.

I’m reviewing this to remind myself NOT to try this scent again. From the notes, this should be my signature perfume. But every time I try it, on paper or on my skin, I am completely underwhelmed. It’s a very off putting rose scent upon the drydown. To be fair, I don’t think I like the Penhagalian’s DNA.

What an absolutely lovely fragrance! The minute I smelled the sample of this I fell in love. The rose and citrus are so delicate and light and I love the hint of juniper. It smells like a forest fairy princess in a fantasy novel. The projection and silage could be a bit better but I would happily respray this throughout the day.

Absolutely perfect if you're looking for a non-overpowering gentle floral fresh scent with a hint of citrus that stays with you for a few hours. Brilliant for warm days of spring and summer. Complex enough to not feel boring after a few uses, but simple enough to be great even whilst sweaty and warm.

Another one. Great scent, crappy lasting power, even worse price. STOP. Such a photorealistic, vibrant and sunny orange. Like peel between your fingers. The florals prevent flatness and provide a romantic aspect (picnic memories!). If this has heavier base notes then it doesn’t last long enough for me to smell them. One of the most beautiful scents for summer I have ever smelled. Bummer!

Best perfume I could find so far. Luna is a feminine yet elevating scent, not a basic type of fragrance you could sniff in other perfumes. I've been wearing Luna since high school and it is still the best perfume i've ever smell in my life. Especially the dry down, a floral skin scent that gives you feeling of coziness and wanting to keep sniffing the smell on your wrist. Silage and longevity wise not very strong but this is one of a kind of perfume that doesn't smell generic, it has an identity and a safe fragrance to wear and acceptable in most people's nose yet you could still receive compliments from them. I would definitely shower using this perfume but unfortunately a bit overpriced overall.

Penhaligon’s is a new discovery for me, and I am enjoying going through this house’s samples… The bar is set super high : their Duchess Rose is my best discovery of 2026 ✨ and the one perfume I had no doubts about buying after only a days wear… not a floral lover, so for me to suddenly fall in love with a Rose perfume? Just pure joy - thank you Penhaligon’s;) So I had hight hopes for LUNA as well - what if it this is that evasive perfect Citrus that I have been looking for? that would be a 2 for 2 from one house lol The opening is a beautiful and an uplifting experience: this effervescent, beautiful citrus - with not-that- bitter- orange - so perfectly balanced and smooth … Unfortunately, the downfall for me starts in the middle - the florals become too heavy and overpower the freshness, although some of the citrus is still holding on till the dry down… The florals are never too heavy objectively, but too heavy for me personally…The aromatic rich dry down is so pleasant and just radiates warmth, and would even save the day if not for the longer middle experince… This is exactly the same experience I had with PDM’s Safanad… Both are great for people less sensitive to florals/floral lovers, but not what I would personally enjoy through the whole wear. Ultimately, for most people LUNA is a very likable, quality composition - and just perfect for warmer weather.

This is everything I personally love in a fragrance. It's light but not invisible, airy, crisp yet still feminine. On me this pulls quite rosy, but it's a fresh rose. I picture a pink freshly bloomed rose with a green stem in a crystal vase in ice cold water. Wearing it makes me feel elegant, clean and quietly feminine. Adore!

Анонім

Its honestly sooooo beautiful. Very cold, crisp and detached, makes you feel like a moonlight goddess wearing this. However, honestly, within 3 hours max, all smell is gone. Criminal for the price you're paying.

Анонім

Fresh and woody floral with a lemon. Nothing groundbreaking. But enjoyable. Lemon is what I get a lot of.

Smooth, refreshing and non offensive. My staple for office wear and day time. 8.5/10

At first it felt cold like a true winter scent but as it settled it started to resemble delina

68/100 this is so surprisingly good. it’s citrusy but with a touch of sweet fruits too. it has interesting depth. i wish the rose was just less powdery same reason i don’t like it in atomic rose. cool sister of gypsy water, without being redundant.

I buy my bottle of Luna once a year from Bicester Village and it does last me the whole year. I can still smell in on me when I get home from work and I've had so many complements on it.

This is the perfect sparkling solar citrus perfume. I cant justify and afford the high price but for me this is one of the best citrus out there. perfect for spring and summer. Totally unisex. A must have for those who live in tropical countries. like me.

I find Luna surprisingly enjoyable. Save for its rather simple structure, it is executed with a level of charm and elegance not commonly found in more recent Penhaligon’s releases. This works as a wonderfully clean and minimalist feminine, whilst still smelling expensive. It’s a refreshing take on a citric-floral, the refreshing hesperidic burst of lemon is short-lived, before lending itself to a sweet rose oil. I am picky when it comes to rose, and I find myself shocked I haven’t discovered this sooner as it’s fantastic, probably the best rose from the brand. It remains perfectly clean and understated throughout as the rose takes lead. Such a happy perfume is like an expensive hotel hand soap: not particularly complex but guaranteed to put a smile on your face.

Анонім

the prominent note is rose , no freshness no citrusy notes no balsamic , it’s rose water in your nose and on your clothes all day over priced over a non lasting or potent perfume and add to that it is rose water u smell like you’ve been to a funeral … it has nothing to do with freshness or cleanliness

Анонім

Looking at the assortment of notes you'd think this would be stunning, but upon spraying my nose was stunned in all the wrong ways. Sweet, icy, violet like but it's like they got the ratios wrong, it as though they were aiming for something posh and elegant but overshot and got harsh and snobby. Thankfully the scent dissipates rather quickly.

Анонім

I feel like this fragrance is extremely overpriced for what it is. It is definitely a lovely one, but there is nothing that sticks out to me enough to make me want to justify the price. It also is quite faint-- once you spray it disappears so quickly. It has a faint, slightly citrusy smell and smells like a lovely summer's night in a garden but once again it is barely noticeable for yourself or from afar. I would have preferred a bit more freshness to balance the citrusness to just give some character and an impression but unfortunately the feel of this fragrance is fleeting.

This was my wedding fragrance 🤍 I had a celestial theme, me being the Moon. It made sense to wear Luna on a beautiful sunny day in July. It’s a sexy, addictive scent that holds precious memories. It’s enchanting, beautiful and has that wow factor and uniqueness. I’ve never smelt anything else like it. 😍

The Favourite was my favourite from Penhaligon, but then I got this and I moved Luna to the front of my shelf. The front is where the best perfumes live.
