It starts awful and gets better as time pases by. At first it's kind of sour and green but then turns sweet and the only thing you can smell for two hours it's vanilla. After that time I get a very gentle rich gourmand smell that fades quite nicely. Still I rated this as a dislike since the last notes are not worth the bittersweet beggining.

A sensual fragrance that dives into a salty vanilla in a very balanced and gracious way. I had it for a a little while now and I find it very versatile Unapologetically feminine I get 3/4 hours on my skin

I’m fairly certain I’ve already reviewed this, however I need to say I have an old bottle. Probably around ten years old and still about half full because I only wear it on certain occasions. I wore it randomly today for the first time in a long while and, wow, I don’t remember if it’s always been this powerful or if age did something to it. The juice is way darker now than it used to be but it still smells more or less the same. I sprayed this on 12 hours ago and I’ve been smelling it strongly all day. I don’t know if the new bottles perform even remotely similar but old bottles are truly beast mode. I can’t remember the longevity being quite so extreme when it was newer. Aged this comes close to Kerosene levels.

another disappointing sample, so much so that i forgot i had even tried it. the salt and vanilla, which were the notes i really bought this for, were entirely absent on me. florals aren't bad, but it wasn't what i wanted at all and the reviews made me expect something totally different from what i got. the idea i had in my head of what this was supposed to smell like was really nice.

I think a ‘salty’ note can come across as ‘plasticky’ or a weird urine smell. I smell it in all salty fragrances. You either like a salt note or you don’t. It took me awhile to appreciate the salty accord. I like it in this perfume. But a salty note is not my favorite.

First spritz smells like salty urine. Absolutely gross. I don't know how people wear this; it just stinks.

For me, it has to be an extremely hot day to wear Olympea, which makes it quite a limited reach. Think 30°C+ on a hot holiday somewhere by a beautiful beach. In that kind of heat, it's gorgeous. The warmth of my skin seems to melt all the notes together, making them feel smooth, solar and beautifully blended. When it's hot, I get an airy jasmine first. It's soft, not overly indolic or overpowering. After this, the jasmine relaxes and the mandarin and ginger become more noticeable, adding a brightness and zing. The salt note is unique. It gives the feeling of sun warmed skin after a swim in the sea, with a light layer of salt left behind. The vanilla is there, but it's much softer than I expected. It's never gourmand or sugary like most vanillas. Instead, the salt keeps it feeling fresh overall. Unfortunately, everything changes when the weather is cold, and I HATE this fragrance. I live in the cold, rainy UK... we see sun for a mere couple of weeks a year. The opening is similar, but the notes feel flatter and don't blend together nearly as well. Then the dry down becomes absolutely disgusting on my skin. It smells EXACTLY like urine. Who wants to walk around smelling like pee all day? Not me! I think it's the salt combined with the ambergris reacting differently in cooler temperatures! Whatever causes it, it's enough to make me feel sick, and I have to scrub it off. Sigh.

To me it smells very light, exactly like skin after u apply a sunscreen. Also I get some of the salt. It smells exactly like u have applied sunscreen, then u took a swim in the sea and the salt water has dried on top of the sunscreen. It barely smells on me. Just ok overall, nothing that interesting and u can easily find much better similar perfumes

I loved this back in the day but after having it through a particularly horrible phase of my life I stopped wearing it. Still I appreciate the salty vanilla combo, it shines in high heat and is quite unique for a modern fragrance.

Ele um perfume que considero simples, não pela sua composição mas sim pela agradabilidade. Ele é bom e fácil de agradar pois é doce, mas não muito doce. Floral, mas não muito. Todas as notas se conversam bem e são harmoniosas, o transformando em um perfume gostoso mas sem muita personalidade. É o HB20 dos perfumes femininos.

This is so pretty. The opening kind of gives Aussie hairspray.. then it settles into a slightly salty vanilla and jasmine . Works all year round but I try to avoid in really high heat. This is addicting, magnetic and sultry. Longevity and sillage are impressive.

On strip it smelled feminie, elegant, smooth and sexy. On skin I got some really weird tiare/tuberose vibes that disappeared within half an hour. Then its just salty vanilla and creamy woody jasmine. Not my favourite blend, for me its just okay.

This thing is eternal! This is my second bottle and it takes forever finishing it. You literally need 2-3 sprays to last all day. Very distinct, salty vanilla with the orange and ginger that feels perfect for spring / summer. This is not for extreme heat, though - since it is very potent I would not spray this and go into direct sunlight. Great value for the price.

The best salty and sultry vanilla perfume ever! The salt and vanilla comes to life on my skin and stay close to 10 hours. This is my experience throughout the wear of this fragrance! Its decadent and can be worn daily in any setting! Love it!

What's with the hype around this thing? Am I too basic to understand this? The first 10 minutes after spraying are very pleasant and unique because of the salt, but then it turns into a simple vanilla scent with nothing special about it

I was late to discover it, but it’s quickly become my signature scent, and the one that has made me fall in love with non-gourmand vanilla. Fresh, clean and warm, with a touch of sweetness. If you like sunscreen fragrance or anything salty/marine, you will probably love this. It does last as everyone else can still smell it on me so be careful with over spraying. I do sometimes go nose blind to it. I like to layer it with Al rehab Spanish vanilla perfume oil, or Deeds/Doves perfume oil.

i remember this being the first designer perfume i owned, so i bought a bottle of this recently to revisit. such a salty summery scent and layers beautifully with other similar fragrances. can’t wait to start wearing it again for the nostalgia :) i don’t think the longevity and projection is as impressive as other reviews have said but still definitely worth having in your collection!

This fragrance reminds me of the softer less sweet JPG Divine, even though they both only share jasmine and citrus notes. I get a salty beach vibe from the both of them. More so from Olympea which I finally decided to take a chance on after deliberating for a few months. The scent does not quite live up to the name but it is still a beautiful basic summer scent. Perfect for spring or summer days and nights. It is a seductive and alluring scent that will carry you through the warmer months of the year. Olympea lacks projection and longevity on my clothing and skin, but I can still appreciate her and I can see it being one of my summer favorites.

Was a gift and I like it. Usually have problems with powdery scents not smelling right on me, but the sweet notes have made it work.

I wanted to like this so badly, however the salty note does not agree with me. It's so sharp, and making me feel a little nauseous.

Tested this on a paper strip at the airport and all I got was salt and powder. It was kind of weird, not what I was expecting. I kept coming back to it, hoping it’d grow on me. Maybe it’s better on skin.

This is a fragrance that draws attention and definitely doesn’t go unnoticed. Personally, I wouldn’t wear it in the summer, as it can feel a bit heavy in high heat, unless it’s a cooler evening when the temperature drops. For me, it works beautifully in all other seasons. The most prominent notes are jasmine, salt, and vanilla. That salty-vanilla combination is what makes it stand out, giving it a “salted caramel” kind of vibe. The jasmine is clearly present, adding structure and a touch of elegance to the composition. It has a moderate projection that remains fairly consistent throughout its wear. In terms of longevity, it’s very solid, easily lasting around 9 to 10 hours on clothing. If you’re looking for a more affordable alternative, Olivia by Maison Alhambra is a great option. It costs about three times less, has slightly lower longevity and intensity, but achieves an 85%–90% similarity to the original Olympéa.

Perhaps it's just me, though I can smell the vanilla, other notes are too faint for my nose. I also can't tell that there's anything "salty" about

Ladies, I know I've already reviewed this legendary potion, but I have a suggestion based on COMPLIMENTS. So, if you are a strong woman, who doesn't mind making a statement, leaving a scent trail, and getting ALL of the compliments, here's my advice; After showering and moisturising your body, spray Divine Le Parfum with a heavy hand (about 8 to 10 sprays). Allow it to dry, and then apply Olympea edp over the same Divine lp sprays (with the same heavy hand), and let it dry... Prepare to smell HEAVENLY all day, compliments galore, I guarantee. PS: I don't usually layer my frags, as I believe a perfume should stand on it's own, but this is THE exception that makes it worthwhile, trust me.

salty vanilla, jasmine .. sweet and warm super long lasting and very good sillage 100/10 sadly it discontinued

I was into this at first, it presents as a salty, sunny vanilla. However it is just headache inducing, dry and screechy after the opening. I don’t know whether it’s the salt note because I also didn’t love the new Ellis Brooklyn Vanilla Salt which I think is kind of similar to this but I think that one is nicer.
