I cannot pick up on any notes in this perfume - I can only say it smells like a "generic female perfume" if it makes sense. I think when there are too many notes mixed in the perfume has a vibe not a scent lol, and I genuinely don't know how people can pick up on any of the notes. I hate "generic" smelling perfumes but this one I love. If I concentrate really hard I am picking up on some fruitiness and floralness with some woody or heavier background to ground it a little bit, but the fruitiness is too sharp for the heavier background to come forth, however it is what makes the perfume sexy and sultry, and not just sweet or fruity. This perfume feels super sexy, seductive, with a touch of sweetness, and it's also sharp (in a good way.) It reminds me of confident, beautiful, boss women lol. Bear with me - think of a beautiful, sexy, rich woman feeling herself on a date night, or having a drink alone. It projects pretty well I would say so over spraying it might cause headaches. It lasts around 2, maybe 3 hours when it's impossible to not notice it, and then it dries down to a softer vanilla lasting for about 1-2 hours more. The dry down is really intimate. Definitely a safe blind buy.

A very nice safe blind buy perfume. When I saw the notes I didn’t think they’d go well together but I was so wrong the popcorn gives it that warm essence and the ylang ylang gives it a fresh floral feeling. Such a good value for money aswell 50ml for a long lasting perfume with decent silliage.

I was a little bit terrified when I saw that the main note is popcorn, because I don't want to smell like bakery, and I hate overly gourmand perfumes with passion. Blindly bought it and prayed for it to be good. Let me tell you, this is sexy as hell. It's sweet in the best way possible, seductive and sultry, good for winter or fall as well.

Very fun scent! I loved it when I had it, the popcorn is such an interesting addition, the vanilla compliments it well, and the airyness from the florals is very needed. And then my father stole it for himself. I don't know what this says about how feminine or masculine leaning this scent is, but... it is no longer mine! Would recommend though!

It's not one of my favorite perfumes. To me, it's far too intense. I don't get any freshness, floral notes, or sweetness from it

Анонім★★★★★

It smells like corn, truly hideous 😩

Mine doesn’t smell like anything??? I get little bit watered down black opium and ylang-ylang, solar scent but that’s it. Can’t smell any of the other notes. Very disappointing. Super faint. So many people here saying how strong it is but mine is like water. And no, it’s not fake.

Анонім★★★★★

It’s so screechy and can be terribly loud in warmer months! Good forbid you put it on and get into a closed space like a car or an elevator.

Sexy. Fun. Feminine And lasts near 24 hours with gentle projection that is never too much. On me caramel dominates, with floral heart and vanilla background but it feels complex and is never boring. The popcorn note is adorable here. I love to feel it around. Especially in summer, but it is good for the entire year. The caramel here is light and coupled with popcorn. It is never oppressive or heavy. I do have a thing for Rabanne creations it seems. They hold my inner self at teenage years, or maybe the ghost of my twenties. I applied it at 5 p.m and.I could clearly feel it at midnight. It's 3 p.m next day and it is still on my skin in gentle wafts, surely will last till my shower. I love it.

This is not nearly as vulgar as I was anticipating lol! It’s soooo soft! I can’t stretch my imagination enough to fathom wearing this as a night club scent? This would be laying around the house in a sweat suit, watching tv all day. I definitely get the Ritz cracker vibe, but I like it! I was definitely expecting a naughtier, louder scent though.

This fragrance is like sitting in a cool air conditioned cinema, scent of both sweet and salty popcorn and vanilla breezing through the air. The dry down is woody but still retaining that sweetness. I found this perfume perfect for a winter evening event, it's cool but cosy. Definitely not a warm scent on me which I find quite refreshing. It lasts a good 4-6 hours being out and about, and doesn't have a massive sillage, people would smell it if they were arms length from you. Would buy again!

"A wildly provocative – and wildly untamed – floral created by Quentin Bisch, an impassioned and passionate perfumer at Givaudan. Inspired by one of his trips to Reunion Island, he came back to Paris obsessed with a heady, dazzling ylang-ylang. His goal: to bottle the essence of an orgasm, an explosion of the senses brought within reach with a distinctive Paco flair. Quentin has devised a detonating duo: magnetic ylang-ylang on an intriguing popcorn-note explosion. The notes vibrate against each other, together in tension. To trigger, in an avalanche of the senses, a moment of explosive erotica." Ok....I couldn't have said it better.... it's like that! 😅🤤💋❤️🔥

So I literally got so upset that Black XS got discontinued, that I naturally went to grab this one instead. While it smells NOTHING like the Black XS one, it has its own unique scent. The popcorn scent is instantly noticeable and I ADORE that tbh, it's super strong and you only need a little bit to go a long way. I saw some reviews say that it smells like an old lady perfume, but I disagree. I think it IS mature, but also VERY sexy and passionate. Perfect for a date night. My husband loved it on me, he wouldn't stop sniffing my neck. Highly recommended!

Анонім★★★★★

This is a very strong perfume. Reminds me of an old lady perfume quite a bit. The popcorn note is very sweet, very gourmandy. Can be overwhelming for some, since one spray alone is enough for you to smell it of yourself for the entire day let alone your clothes where it will stay over washes as well. Don't blind buy this. The notes are quite confusing to say the least. I would purchase a small bottle first. It's definetely a perfume you might have to learn to love)

This is such a lovely fragrance. Snakes are my nighmare, so I wouldn't go near this bottle for years (and it took me a long time to see that one is wrapped around my beloved Paradiso Assoluto right at the top of the bottle). But I dared eventually and I loved Pure XS. I don't smell any popcorn, it's more a white floral/ylang/vanilla with floral/ambrette in the drydown. To me it's not a gourmand at all, but a floral with a twist and it may just be my holiday scent.

Анонім★★★★★

Such a good perfume. I like that the popcorn note is smoky or salty rather than straight up sweet.

Анонім★★★★★

Mmmmm I love this. The popcorn note makes this perfume. It’s sexy yet subtle depending how you spray. I think this is definitely like an aphrodisiac

Анонім★★★★★

Feels like a lowkey fancy vibe. nothing super crazy, just a safe, wearable scent.

Анонім★★★★★

The popcorn with the sweet of the fruits gives me a sweet & salty Ritz cracker, more salty than sweet, and despite the notes, to me it smells like the sister of Coach Dreams: Moonlight. I’ve tested this quite a number of times and it’s always been the same. It’s definitely different and I like it a lot better than Black XS. This is definitely on my Wishlist in the future to own and the bottle is much more elegant than Black XS as well.

Анонім★★★★★

Je l’ai acheté à l’aveugle dans un avion après mes vacances et je l’adore ! Quelle belle surprise… C’est un parfum envoûtant, gourmand et qui tient si bien.

Анонім★★★★★

I can feel the popcorn-note for sure.. But the note is not popcorn in a good way - more like BURNT POPCORN, yuck!

Анонім★★★★★

Surprised with the rise of gourmand scents this seems to never be mentioned? This seems like the very definition of a gourmand perfume that influencers would promote; very much a caramel popcorn scent, but not in an immature or childish way, with hints of amber and in a decorated bottle. Very nice, does well for going out at night.

Don't listen to the reviews saying this is generic. This perfume is unique for a designer fragrance. I can see why many would call it generic because it opens like a typical gourmand. Very sweet, sugary. But then after some time has passed and the sweetness settles it turns beautiful. The sweetness dials back and opens the stage for a salty note that creates this very unique combination. I pick up salt, ylang ylang, vanilla, coconut, woody notes, musk. I smell the popcorn in the opening and then it sort of just leaves its shadow behind, not dissapearing completely but you'd have to focus your attention to find it. It goes from a strong buttery popcorn to just a salted bland popcorn if that makes any sence lol. On my skin the musk deepens and the scent becomes darker and more complex. This perfume is a beautiful enigma. It's like a contradiction. Sweet but salty, light but dark, gentle yet with a bite. In the drydown it almost develops a green note for me. It's warm and comforting like a cachmiere scarf but not so warm that it's suffocating. I find it mysterious but not in the way that a lot of perfumes deemed mysterious smell dark and gothic...this is very different from that. The mystery in this perfume for me does not come from darkness and a typical "this is a mysterious girl" dna but rather from that puzzling sugar vs salt thing and the very unexpected mossy and sort of foresty tones that linger in the background which I'm surprised more people are not talking about. I believe they come from the green qualities that ylang ylang can have. So I'd say puzzling would be a more fitting word here than mysterious. The beauty of this perfume lingers behind the gourmand, behind the shock factor that is popcorn in a perfume and the typical clubbing vanilla. I wish those components were more dialed back so that the unique qualities shine more but even the more basic qualities of the fragrance are done well and are youthful without being juvenile. I think it makes for a great signature scent because it's not a too popular frangrance, it can be worn any time of the year, day and night in my opinion and I think its memorable. If there is one season it matches perfectly tho, it's fall. When I smell it I immediately think of the muted autumn palette, that sort of dusty rose colour that the box has and dark olive green. This is something you have to smell for yourself. Just don't judge it based on the opening. Give it time to develeop on your skin and focus your attention beyond the vanilla and gourmand aspects.

Where are you all getting popcorn?! I don't know if I'm nose blind to popcorn, but this is a dark and gourmand floral to me.

I really love the bottle. The scent is quite sharp and bold. If you know Joan Collins, she should definitely be the face of this campaign 😏 As for the notes, I can clearly detect pepper and musk, coffee, cashmere, cedar. It reminds me a bit of Black Opium by Yves Saint Laurent. The dry down is sexy — it has that slightly burlesque, sensual kind of vibe.

This is one of the few fragrances that stuck in my mind. I remember where I smelled it first, it was in Sephora, and I remember the whole experience like it was yesterday even though it was over 4 years ago. I didn't end up purchasing then. Anyway- that's what a good fragrance does to you. You love it, you remember it, you reminisce.. It's CH Good Girl's sister from another mister lol. I love chestnut in fragrances, and although this one doesn't have it as a note, I can kind of sense it. A sweet but not heavy, vanilla-amber-popcorn jewel.

Анонім★★★★★

I bought this a few good months ago. Upon first spraying I heavily got the popcorn on the opening. Now I can't smell it. It's a real sweet floral vanilla. Mmm. Beautiful.

remember smelling this in 2018 and thinking at had such a unique kick to it. time went on and now I bought it in 2026 for the first time. it smells nothing like I remember it. seems it feel victim to the new regulations and restrictions and has been reformulated? now I only smell is a lazy sunny solar note that reminds me of falling asleep in spring sun and waking up dizzy from too much bright light. Anybody else who now only gets solarnote ( and secretly hate it?) I used to be super intrigued by the original 2018 version..
