SOL Cheirosa ’62 Eau de Parfum

I'm so confused. I thought FOR SURE I was going to love this. On me it leans almost masculine? I primarily get the sandalwood note and very little of anything else. The dry down is better, a pretty nutty caramel vanilla, but for some reason it just doesn't work on me. Judging by the reviews, I seem to be in the minority, and it might just be my skin reacting weirdly to it.

so i purchased the EDP of this on ebay for $80 that i didnt really have back in springtime in the hopes that it would be my 2026 CAREFREE SEX GODDESS SHIMMER MOMENT SUMMER scent; it's the end of july, the handsize bottle is 75% full and listed for sale on my fb marketplace. listen, it's a fabulous perfume. the golden disco ball cap proves it. its just not .... me.... i guess i still dont really know what kinda girl i am...... tehe.. just kidding im a basic gourmand vanilla bitch trying to branch out, and this was me dipping my toe in the water of a lighter, less cloying/clausterphobic summer scent than something predictable like coco butter cream. so immediately after spraying the nutty almond/pistachio notes shines through SO GOOD and so strong with a hint of salty caramelish, pointing ur senses to an underrated, quiet kind of tropical. like the smell of a bomb ass suntan or hair product except you are a dream girl and your skin just smells delectable like that. oo to the la to the la, ready to be adored. but the drydown? thats the letdown. it was the exact reason i opted for the parfum rather than the body spray, i wanted a 24hr sex goddess guarantee, but everytime i wore this i found myself wishing id lugged the 3 pound piece of glass with me on the go to re apply. i see other reviews have said the opposite so maybe its my body chemistry, but i advise to just go for the body spray, throw it in your hemp tote bag, and forget about it next year queen. dont waste your money if you just love gourmands but not beachy sunscreeny scents. cuz this one gets old.

It seems crazy to say but, no this scent is not overrated. This is a reason so many brands try to dupe this. It is an unbeatable summer gourmand.

The newer version it kind of smells like a delicious sun cream with caramel, the sun cream smell makes it better in my opinion, it is soooo summery!

Brazil beaches in a bottle. Great for the ones feeling saudade :) Sweet, nice, femenine, amazing for spring/summer.

love this perfume. i find a little difference between the perfume and the body mist cheirosa 62 and it’s the salted caramel part. the perfume is a little bit more salty caramel and the mist is more caramely without the salt.

It is masterful. If you love the Cheirosa'62 cosmetics scent this is the perfect compliment to it. They seemlessly blend together and are delicious. Timeless, feminine, savoury. The body mist is a bit flat and not particularly expensive smelling though the scent profile is great but this? This is refined and adorable in any weather. It lasts at least 8 hours on me and nicely changes during wear to avoid boredom. It wears like a floral breeze with delicious sweet notes that feel natural. The bottle is also attractive and fits the scent. I regret 50ml bottles are the biggest ones (but I barely made a dent in it despite wearing it my entire holiday and many times later)

it smells just like they're popular cheirosa '62 but it stays on your skin longer! i find that i can spray a bunch of this and it not be overpowering. it also can be used day and night no matter the weather outside, it's such a staple in every routine of mine. wore it when i went to a doctor's appointment and the nurse was trying to figure out what smelled so good haha. i love pairing it with any vanilla/cocoa butter lotion.

The scent that made the brand, yum :) Universally enjoyable and delicious, almost like candy yet not too sweet, just satisfying.

I was never a fan of gourmand or vanilla-forward fragrances until this one, and I actually adore the rubbery/synthetic/plastic-y notes it has. Also instantly reminds you of eating salty roasted pistachios so how can you hate it. Love

I really liked this on initial spritz. It’s addictive and charming just like the sol de janeiro cheirosa 62 body mist (the body mist is definitely more caramel). It’s almost more elegant and nutty than the body mist. But when it dries down on my skin it becomes too nutty, coconut and sunscreen like which is a profile I really don’t like. I might give it away to my friend who likes the cheirosa 62 line a lot or exchange it for something else. It’s not for me. However, I will say the projection and longevity of this is EXTREME! This could also be a reason why I was getting annoyed with it haha.

Is it light? Yes but it layers well with the mist, jelly and body products. It doesn't make me break out and I am obsessed with the smell. I got a sample so I went and got the 1.7 oz bottle. Its intimate but thats what I like.

Love it! When I'm in the mood for something richer and warmer, this is my go to. Loveee the nuttiness and when you pair it with the cream, chefs kiss! No notes. Just don't be heavy handed.

Im wearing this sample from my sol de janeiro 59 order & ive found my next go to for work & going out in the summer. The opening smells like coconut so it puts me in a summer mood more than spring. The dry down is jasmine, heliotrope & almond. Im not getting pistachio. This combo seems like it will warm well on the skin in warmer months. Its a beautiful & pulled together fragrance. It's reminiscent of bath & body works combos in their every day luxuries line but this is complex & well blended with less alcohol. There is a nice warm bubble of jasmine, vanilla & heliotrope in terms of sillage

I LOVE and adore this perfume. This is a knockout for me with the bottle design and scent. first of all the cap being a gold disco ball is sooo pretty. The smell itself is amazing to me. It is reminiscent of the 62’ mist but with a grown sexy take, that focuses more depth with a nutty flavor hitting first and for longer. The dry down is so summery, beachy, indulgent, &creamy it’s insane. The performance is 4ish hours however it stays on my clothes for DAYS. I get complimented on this perfume layered with the mist every single time, even in public. This scent is king of all pistachio scents. 10/10

I hope this gets better because currently I really hate this. I must be the only one who finds this screechy and nauseating. I’ll give it some time and change my review if it improves

I have been wearing this perfume foreverrr. It's my signature scent in the summer, warmer fall, and spring months. This perfume is muskier on my chemistry than the fine mist is. It lasts hours on me, I find myself waking up in the morning still smelling like the night/day before. The notes project so nicely in the summer heat and remind me of a beach vacation. I have tried smelling some of the dupes, but they never are as good as this perfume.

I know 62 is marketed as a summer scent but my favorite season to wear it is winter. It's incredibly sweet, warm, and comforting (not tropical at all). For me it evokes the feeling of being cozy by the fire while eating some kind of nutty/caramel dessert. I enjoy the body mist as well but the perfume has such a nice depth and sexiness that I think comes from the jasmine. I love smelling it on my scarves and sweaters when I'm all bundled up to brave the cold.

Like I suspected it is great for cold weather. Very caramel-salt-sandalwood. With a good pistachio note. Adorable. It feels expensive, luscious, delectable and much more refined than the body spray. I feel it on for many hours. It melts well with my skin giving me an aura rather than plastic smell attack like the body spray I felt from a girl during holiday.

Warm, sunny, powdery, nutty vanilla, caramel, floral, sweet, woody.

I’d never smelled this one before, despite how popular it is. This opens with the most delicious nutty glow. I can immediately smell the pistachio blended with heliotrope and a hint of caramel, and it’s absolutely yummy. The salt gives it a sunlit, almost solar quality that keeps it from leaning too heavy or too gourmand. The florals are sweet and soft, never overwhelming, just woven gently through the warmth. As it settles, it becomes slightly powdery in the dry-down, and I can clearly pick up the sandalwood. The vanilla smooths everything out, helping all the notes harmonize into something creamy, soft, and soothing. It’s well-balanced — sweet but not too sweet — with a touch of beachy, feminine sexiness in a floral way. Warm, comforting, and softly radiant. I really love this one, and will be purchasing the body mist as well.

we all know what this scent smells like by now, and this perfume smells the same, just more beast mode than the mist. it sticks around forever and makes me sneeze. i have a sample and definitely do not plan on buying the fragrance or mist (i'd rather get the body lotion and at least enjoy the skincare benefits).

this is my fav scent by sdj, however it doesn't last much longer than the body mist

I have bought a smaller 8 ml version and I love it. In opening you can really smell pistachio and almond, it smells really nutty, which I love. Dry down is then similar to body location, just more warm or cozy. Projection is not very strong, but I actually prefer that in sweet gourmand scents and despite worrying about the longevity, I could smell it on me all day. Definitely will repurchase the whole bottle.

It sounded like a good idea... but there's nowhere that I personally want to go smelling so sweet. To my nose this perfume was almost cloying sadly. But it delivers exactly what is promised, a strong and lasting nutty caramel with hints of salt and a warm aftertaste of vanilla. Would probably do well on a beachy night, or if you spray and take a swim right after.

Fantastic gourmand. Very similar to Olympea but more intense and with gourmand tones of caramel. It is similar also to Cosmic Ungaro. Sandalwood and jasmine dominate on me, together with vanilla after the caramel-pistacchio opening. I feel also a bit of almonds. It is complex enough to delight. 3 hours of lovely projection. If not for the name I would consider the scent fit for cold weather, which it probably is. However it does not annoy me in heat. It works. I still feel it clearly at 8 hours mark. It is close to Cosmic Ungaro drydown at this point. And to Olympea's heart - salt and jasmine. Olympea is calmer and more elegant with clear salty sea breeze angle. Cosmic is girlier and with dancing fruity nuances. This is the most festive of the lot, a free time blend. Sweet, delectable and strong. It transfers itself from my neck to my hair at night and I feel it still in the morning. Lightly of course.

I ADORE this perfume and have NO idea what many folks are talking about when they say this perfume doesnt last long or project or smell good. The smell is exactly as the body spray but better in my opinion. It layers beautiful with a lot. For me I love layering it with my Vanilla Fields, Pink Sugar, BBW Vacation Vibes, Victoria Secret Island Rush, Tree Huts Cococolada and of course the Sol De Janeiro 62 body mist. The perfume on its own is so sultry and cozy and truly can be worn during the day or night. Can be worn any time of year and at any event. This is a stronger scent so a little goes a long way in my opinion and it projects well. I receive compliments all the time when I wear this. The longevity is impressive!!! When first sprayed it seems like it isnt super strong, but once dried down that is where the magic is at. It lasts on me all day and can even smell a bit the next day. What I find interesting about this perfume is on me it doesnt stick on clothing but on skin it is a magnet. If you love sweet, candy like scents this is for you! To me I dont smell much pistachio notes, but the Carmel, vanilla, almond and jasmine is very apparent.

I’m very picky with edible gourmands but this is absolutely addictive. Nutty, warm, mouthwatering, yet still beachy and airy. Stunning on its own but also a blast to layer. I ended up getting a full size.

smells way more nutty than the body lotion and the body spray, really bad longevity but it smells amazing. gonna try to layer it with by the fireplace like someone in the comments said
