If Dior Fahrenheit is polarizing for being “Too rugged, too masculine”… then Fabulous is polarizing for being “too classy, too difficult to wear”. This is a dressed up, nighttime scent exclusively.

This smells like mosquito spray. But it has the potential to smell like something amazing. I wish I was getting that. Maybe I’m judging it too early.

a nice leathery nutty scent that lasts on my skin for 5 hours that name is an overexaggeration in my opinion though there is one thing that does live up to the f word:being fucking overpriced 8.5/10

Smells real good very masculine. For sure not a unisex fragrance. This is a black tie cologne not an everyday user. Within the first few minutes to hours it projects really hard then fades off around 3rd or 4th. I would not use this for work maybe for meetings or weddings only

Interesting herbal opening that quickly dries down to a powdery base with a slight touch of salty dry wood, at this stage the scent smells like a woodier version of Armani Lei. Not so unique but rather nice and comforting to wear.

This is a very interesting scent. First time I heard about it was from a guy wearing it, he was a coworker and he had this super cool fragrance that was projecting like crazy. It was a very good first impression. Years later I decided to try it on my skin. I wonder if this has been reformulated? I get baby powder, almond lotion, some lavender and a very annoying latex/rubber note, mixed with a tiny dash of gasoline... Has this been reformulated? I don't know. I guess I won't be buying a full bottle...

Smells like dry bitter breath or something idk but not a fan

I perceived the clary sage as pepper during the first hour, and I threw some bottles of dupes of FF away that smelled like this the entire ride. After an hour, it finally settled into a nice, herby fragrance. I never got the powder that I assumed that I would eventually see. The ambery vanilla is a touch sweet for my taste, but it tones the herbs down. I am not much of a leather fan but the use of it in this blend was nice. It's a solid blend with decent performance, but its not really my style. I got 6 hours projection with about 7 sprays from a 1ml decant. Worth $2/ml to me. I'll go 8.0 and 6.0 with the price considered.

It’s a fragrance reminiscent of Tom Ford’s take on Dior Homme Intense. It’s woody and orris-powdery, with notes of vanilla and leather. I absolutely love sexy, masculine scents, but it’s rather pricey. Compared to the Eau de Parfum, I think the powdery notes come through more strongly. 10/10

Drydown smells like cumin powder to me. Weird. Not for me I guess.

With all those notes should smell wonderful, but its smells like super strong old moldy leather , I’ll pass . Despite the ridiculous price it sells well and may smell good in many ppl

This smells horrible. I’m a huge Tom Ford fan and cannot believe this synthetic smelling fluid is something they sell. I understand we all have different taste, but I can’t understand how anyone could like this. I’ve tried to wear it a few times and had to wash it off within 10 mins due to the smell or the headache it gives me. If this scent works for you that’s awesome. I threw the 5 ml sample I had in the trash so I’d never be tempted to spray this thing on me ever again.

i blind bought this because it was on sale and i was sold by the name lol. it smells crazy sythentic to me, like the synthetic in most montale perfumes or the pineapple in creed aventus, gross and plastic and fucking relentless, and as a result this on my skin is like gasoline. there are moments i get hints of the leather, which i enjoy, but i cant get beyond the synthetic note in this perfume, its there from start to finish and makes me think of lynx africa (aventus and lots of designer fragrances leave me feeling this way from this same artificial base note that is there the whole time!) and conjures memories of high school PE sessions. on my skin it faded to a skin scent within an hour and was gone with six hours, on my shirt it has lasted longer and stronger - i will be washing the shirt. i can totally picture the person who would wear and enjoy this fragrance but that dude is not me. i have fucked him and regretted it. recommended third rename: fucking gasoline honestly cannot believe people buy this full price and rate it? i've got a couple TF fragrances so figured it was safe to blind buy this off the notes, my bad..

I strongly advice you to go blind into this one and to not listen to any hype or opinions. In the opening, the lavender was really strong, with a licorice note, which made me think of a licorice twist of le male le parfum. However, as it dried down, the fragrance started showing more gourmand notes, in particular the almond and licorice sticking out quite a lot, thus leaving the lavender behind. Leather is definitely present in the dry down, but just barely. If you like something like Black Phantom, then this one would be for you. It is a more fresh and leathery version of it. It is a pretty good fragrance that is more masculine leaning, but I could definitely see women using it, especially with the almond note helping out. Definitely for colder weather, and preferably for late nights. I do have a hard time justifying the price.

This fragrance is a hit or miss for most people. Not blind buy safe and certainly severely overpriced for the scent profile. I had this fragrance back in 2021 and recently got a dupe from Maison Alhambra that smells the same for €30. Smell it first, and if you like it, save yourself €500 and get a dupe.

I really dislike this. Gives me headaches and the almond note is not for me. I understand why some people might gravitate towards this, but I believe it is a victim of excellent marketing that doesn't comply with the quality of the product itself. Tom Fords tend to be polarizing... I was bound to find one that didn't appeal to me. A solid no for me.

This truly smells like pure, unadulterated wealth and class to me, and I promise that impression isn't coming from the actual price. There are equally expensive frags out there that don't come close to carrying this "aura", for lack of a better word. (It's very overused nowadays, isn't it?) It's impossible for me to smell this scent without thinking of the color white. A soft, pure snow white - emanating from the finest fabrics and furs. But as you go to touch them, the texture is a wave of powdery clouds that you can somehow roll in like a bed. There is also a luxury suede bag nearby. Ironically, I think this is too refined and sophisticated to be something actual rich people would like. This is a scent for a fantasy rich person - the romanticized ideal that they want you to imagine them being like. In reality they would probably go for something far more garish and trashy as a tasteless display of weath. Real life rich people don't have scholarly opinions on art and literature; they install gold toilets. But is this worth the price? As good as it is... no, probably not. A decant though? Easiest recommendation in the world if you like powdery scents. This is one of the rare times a fragrance's scent completely matches its name in my opinion.

This perfume does not make any sense. Leather with sage, that is all i am getting. Super unpleasant and screechy smell. It is literally scratching my sinuses in worst possible way. In dry down i only smell sage. I feel like this perfume is angry at me. Where is vanilla, where is almond, where is any other note? Tom Ford has other perfumes that are so much better, this one is maybe the worst i ever smelled.

I like it more in the bottle than on my skin, as even one spray can be overwhelming and even nauseating. That's not to say I don't like the scent; I really love the lavender and leather pairing. The sage however, is overwhelming and reminds me of heavy incense smoke. It sort of smells like how I imagine a hippie would smell. After about an hour of wear, the sage note dies down and the lavender is really quite pleasant. This perfume was a gift to me so I probably would not buy again if I had a choice. I would recommend it if you like herbal-heavy scents.

this is a really cold powdery aromatic leather, i can see where people get the baby wipe smell, but i also get why someone absolutely loves this, for me it's a fragrance that a narcissist who doesn't care about peoples opinion

A very dry smelling fragrance. My male friends all liked it but my female friends HATED it.

To my nose, this smells like Lattafa Liam Grey and BDK Gris Charnel.

Honestly, most of Tom Ford's fragrances are pretty bad, but this one's different for me. It starts off sharp with bitter almond and lavender, then settles into amazing quality leather and warm tonka bean, making it bold but still classy. This scent screams confidence and elegance, really making a statement. A true favorite for collectors!

Very generic outdated bitter herbal scent, it reminds me a lot of Givenchy Gentleman 1974, but without the Patchouli. The smell to me is too mature and dated in a weird way, this will probably feel extremely out of character for a lot of people, it's not for everyone at all and I see only a small number of people pulling it off. It opens up very herbal, I get a lot of Thyme/ Rosemary, bitter herbal. And this here is important, I also get a LOT of Iodine, the one used in hospitals for wound management, uncanny resemblance. It carries that "herbal" nuance of the opening for a while. I dont smell almonds or leather at all. If I were to link the scent to just one thing, it is basically a Thyme flavored cough syrup mixed with Iodine, a strange scent to be called a fragrance and sold at such a laughably astronomical price. Performance is good, it project very well for me in the first hour, and it lasts 4-5 hours then is almost completely gone to my nose. I'm yet to find a good Tom Ford fragrance, they all seem to be hot garbage packaged and sold for the price of a mortgage.

Suggestion: Can we, as the world biggest fragrance community, step up and visit ifra or Tom ford? Or maybe both:p? And ask them politely to bring back all the good stuff like; Tobacco oud, tobacco oud intense, oud wood intense, plum japonais etc…. And also make all the private blend stronger like the used to be! Because it hasn’t been that long ago (2018/2019) that I sprayed oud wood and it lasted about a week on my clothing. And of course I’m not even talking about the first batches (2007/2014), those were like spraying pure perfume oil:p. Or the first time I sprayed Tuscan leather, never forget it had a sillage round 18 hours….. I really miss those moments… Ps…. Of course I would like to see this for more brands and perfumes like Gaultier2, Dior homme intense, Dior homme parfum, bvlgari pour homme etc…..
