This reminds me of the best qualities of Fahrenheit Le Perfum. I didn't say the whole thing, I said the best qualities. Whomever thought of pairing vanilla with suede was a genius.

this was so promising, the name alone drew me in. but it smells like burnt leather and cigars :(

To my great surprise, since I am very picky with many notes, I unexpectedly discovered that I actually like the smell of suede! It smells very nice,like a new, expensive, somewhat sweet, suede leather bag etc. I was expecting something difficult or unpleasant based on the reviews, but it's nothing like that.it's a very nice and intriguing suede scent.Maybe this scent can smell a bit like rubber to some that i read in reviews. However, my personal preference is that I don't want to smell like this. Even though I find the scent nice and interesting, why would I personally want to smell like suede?

Man, I can't believe how disappointed I am in this. Have smelled over 150 niche perfumes but I've never gotten around to smelling babycat. I finally smelled it today and I actually had to scrub it off. I don't know if there's incense or frankincense, but it had a very church basement feel and also like when you get a brand new purse. This is not my style at all and I'm shocked at how many people actually like this. I can see a man wearing this, but as a woman I could never.

My main comment is you can smell all the notes they're warm and not super strong however I did not put a ton on. On my skin it warms from a slightly vanilla suede smell (I think it smells a bit more like suede than it does vanilla) to a vanillic, sweeter scent that makes me wonder if somehow there is a floral in the background. On my son's skin it stays quite masculine. I do not think this is a safe blind by however I'm very glad I purchased this and this will be perfect in the fall, in a sweater, or at a dressier event. I love vanilla and I don't think there is too many singular expressions of vanilla. And I did not have anything like this in my scent wardrobe.

A sexy deep woody suede bourbon vanilla. I get a bit of pepper in the opening. Hints of saffron. Great for a night out on the town. Not a must have.

Interestingly I find this has a musty leather BO quality which clones do not have

Mostly olibanum. Very resinous

Absolutely okay. Linear. It's NOT smokey in any way. A dry, just slightly hay-like (or raw tobacco) and cedary ordinary vanilla with a very slight mentholated effect from the olibanum/frankincense. You have to keep in mind it's the raw resin, when you rub frankincense against your skin to warm it up it will give this vague sweet minty scent. This is in the background of this dry vanilla. It is NOT smokey as when you actually burn it as incense.. I notice nothing of any black pepper. For the price I most certainly don't recommend this as basic as can be. Supreme Vanilla by Zara would be a very good bet, or the Paris Corner dupe. If you really wanna spend this kind of money Fire at will by Jovoy is nice, or Tihota.

EASILY the sexiest perfume I may ever smell. Deeeep intoxicating burbon vanilla with woody notes and slight incense. It smells like a dimly lit fancy restaurant or a jazz club. It just screams mysterious beauty and wealth. If I could bathe in this I would. I wish I could make this my signature scent but this perfume can really only be worn for date nights and dressing your absolute best. Pure ecstasy.

Way too much pepper at first, the dry down is the same boring bourbon vanilla that is in everything nowadays with a hint of leather. Not surprised though because I expected it to be mid given the notes and psyop-level hype online.

I can't stand these fuck-Os leaving good reviews on this olfactory assault of a dumpster liquid. This kidney priced peppery abomination leaves you with financial regret and a migraine the size of my grandma's hemorrhoids. This will not make you mysterious, handsome, sexy, or all of the above. Instead of violating your next victim with your swamp bug pheromones mixed with chemical ass, consider examining this witch mole juice indoors. What you're obtaining at the exorbitant cost of your right testicle is the embodiment of burnt rubber boy toys and basic bitch Bath & Body Works perfume. If you inhale a little deeper you may sniff out a citrusy accord with a buttload of bullshit. Save your pennies for something that's worthwhile and you might get lucky tonight, chump. -OG_Handsome

Got a decant of this to try. The batch code is 22Y21T and the ingredients code is N283270/1. Smell wise, this isn’t what I was expecting at all. When I first sprayed it, it was peppery and vanillic. Almost instantly after, the leather notes show themselves. Upclose, I get this rubbery balsamic vanilla smell. In the air, it’s got two versions that I can pick up at random times. One is like a vanilla cocoa lotion/oil kind of smell. Another is a suede shoe. I got some suede shoes recently and this is so close to the way those smell fresh out the box. Not getting much smoke off my skin. On one hand I find it interesting cause this is so different from most of the vanilla scents i’ve smelled. But on the other hand, it’s not something that I can easily pick up and wear as it’s a pretty challenging scent profile. Performance wise, I’m getting moderate to strong projection. Longevity is moderate to long lasting as it sat close to my skin pretty quickly. Normally vanilla’s stick around for far too long on me so this being lighter is interesting. As for who can wear this, on me the leather note is pretty strong so I would say it leans slightly masculine but it’s a vanilla scent first and foremost so it can be unisex too. Overall, this is definitely a very unique vanilla scent. If you want a vanilla scent but you don’t want the usual type, you should definitely try this.

YSL babycat smells like vanilla scented rubber ball. Horrible.

Este es mi perfume número 1, estoy completamente enamorado de él. Cómo fragancia huele 10/10 y cómo perfume en durabilidad y proyección 10/10 Yo lo veo muy polivalente para salir a eventos o cenas elegantes, de fiesta e incluso por el día en invierno en países fríos para salir un rato y holer increiblemente bién.

Imagine a sexy hot mature lady + cigarettes + drink in hand clink clink clink but in a Restoration Hardware. --- Truly dont get how it's so polarizing. You'd think those of you whose chemistry lacks the fortitude to handle pepper heavy scents would learn real quick but no you have to blame the fragrance.... This is delightfulllll for those of us who can carry it. Bourbon vanilla has always been my favorite vanilla - and the rest of the notes in this work in such harmony imo. Like in my description above this is a unisex scent - but I imagine a sexy women of a certain maturity and she might be the sales lady in the LEATHER STORE! Which in my mind perfect for this would be the restoration hardware in the mall.....but in a fab way. Now somehow take the smell of that Restoration Hardware, and then somehow also transport that to a ski chalet with a fire, and now miss girl from the store has the drink in hand and also has some furs on like in that sexy iconic picture of Rihanna with nothing but furs and wine glass in hand.. but there's cigarettes and weed being smoked indoors too because ... we bad...xoxo y'all wouldn't get it.......

Thought it would just be the paper but this is extremely metallic on my skin too. Smells like dropping a bottle of tobacco vanille on wooden floor, shattering it, and cutting your hand open while trying to pick up the pieces. Gross

The dry down is pure vanilla, hate it.

I tried it at a store. I liked it and my friend hated it right away. Opening is bit strong. But the dry down is nice. But I don't get the hype about it. Pricey for what it offers.

i don't know why people make up corny stories about this perfume, it's not that revolutionary, but it's really good and i'm definitely (probably) getting a bottle. kind of hated it at first smell but it grew on me. i don't smell the nasty initial spray scent anymore

I like the dray down but its to spicy and smoky for me. ok-

I wanted to love this so bad since spiced vanilla sounds heavenly. Bought a sample and right off the bat it offended my nostrils. This smells like a pissy warehouse, where a tire is burning along with 2lbs of black pepper; it made my stomach churn. Horrific. But after around 5h, all the nastiness dissipated and left a slightly spiced vanilla smell. Nothing amazing, just a nice but simple and boring vanilla. Obviously won’t purchase as I refuse to be stinky for 5h 😔

I smelled like a SPICY vanilla leathery incense WOMAN. 👑🔥 Like rich mysterious feminine luxury walking through the room leaving a trail behind her. Compliment after compliment after compliment ALL NIGHT LONG. 😭👏🏽 And the DRY DOWN?!?!?! OH MY GOODNESS. That’s where this fragrance really shows OUT. I get this boozy, smoky leather incense vibe that is SO sexy and addictive. And listen… I KNOW there’s no chocolate note listed but my nose absolutely picks up the smell of slightly melted milk chocolate made from the richest cocoa beans. 🍫✨ Not overpowering at all… just softly blended into the vanilla and incense in the most magical way possible. This fragrance is dark, warm, spicy, sexy, elegant, mysterious, and absolutely unforgettable. A TRUE grown woman date night scent. 15 OUT OF 10. Yes FIFTEEN. 😭🔥✨ I love this beautiful vanilla masterpiece so much!!!

Whaahhahaha @velvet_raven and @masvas, winners. Yes, this is a perfectly nice, slightly darker vanilla scent. BUT ... imho there are even better vanillas out there, and some even at a much more reasonable price point. It is pleasant, wearable and well made for sure, but not nearly as exceptional as some suggest. In short: absolutely no need to get all orgasmic about this one.

Masvas hit the nail on the head: too many reviews are so overnarrated with all kinds of bizarre associations. People really need to get a grip. Nobody cares about your weird fantasies.
