This is a successful blind buy for me, the cozy, spicy creamy aspects of this fragrance are right up my gourmand-adoring alley. I like the pepper in the opening. I don’t have to wait for the dry down to get hit with the lactonic aspect. There is room for improvement in the longevity department, I oversprayed multiple times and couldn’t get it to stick around. It’s a close scent, just for me.
I feel for me anyways, this is the most versatile feminine perfume out there.
This was a blind buy after purchasing fields at nightfall by zara ( dupe) it smells very similar, the longevity of Zadig beats zara but otherwise they are almost the same. It’s a very girly scent, with milky cozy notes☁️🪽
I smelled it at a store and it was such an intoxicating lactonic chestnut. Couldn't stop thinking about it and went to buy it the next day. The bottle in that box could not be the same. right? it was not as opaque as the one i sampled in the store and it does not smell gourmand at all. Some weird clean scent I did not want at all. Clean scents are not my style! It says This Is Her on everything but its not what I sampled at all.
finally bought this yesterday after sampling it every time i went into a store. very different from what i usually wear, but i can feel my taste in perfume changing ever so slightly. i love the spicy pepper note, it feels so sexy in a very unisex way? i find women who wear very musky, woody and spicy scents incredibly hot and chic. it smells really nice on my skin thank god, i love the blend of spice and the slight wood. it has quite a strong sillage for the price. my friend wore this is her undressed on our trip to berlin last year and that is the perfect setting for it; i can definitely see a very cool berlin girl rocking this scent while out strolling through potsdammer platz. this scent is a perfect represantation of what i imagine a z&v customer would smell like as well. due note that it should be sampled and i wouldnt consider this a safe blind buy - i have recieved mixed opinions already (my mother has quite conservative tastes when it comes to perfumes and only likes some chanel and lancome scents - she has practically begged me not to wear this any time i'm near her). also not a very fitting summer scent but i still wore this in 30c weather.
Cold whipped cream Cosy clean Not cloying Pepper is out of place here, but it goes away fast I think it's unisex
I cannot get over the very spicy peppery opening. It's suffocating. After the first 30 mins though, it settles into a musky creamy sandalwood so there's that, but I'd rather not buy the pink pepper entry ticket. Not a safe blind buy; sample like I did.
This fragrance is the reason why I'm a sucker for the chestnut note. It's perfectly unisex and I find it very sexy for a woman to wear it. It's strong and delicate at the same time. And very delicious.
I don’t know if there is something wrong with my bottle but it’s a sandalwood bomb! Can’t even put my arm near my face! Maybe there is a way to make it a bit lighter
Very refined and subtle. It lasts quite a while, projection isn’t that great. It starts off strong and afterwards you really get that chestnut note combined with whipped cream, which is a rather polished combination. Someone once said it smells like a baby's vomit. It sort of does and it completely ruined it for me. Lactonic fragrances aren’t a safe blind buy, as they don’t work well with everyone’s PH.
I absolutely loved this sent for the 30 minutes it stayed on my skin. I don’t know if I went anosmic to it but genuinely after half an hour, it was completely gone. For those people who this lasts on, I’m so jealous because the actual scent is beautiful! It’s light, airy, clean, fluffy and feminine. I truly wish this lasted longer on me. That’s the only reason I marked it as “ok” rather than “like”.
Sniffed this off my mom's hand, I definetly get a roasted chestnut note, but it's like a roast chestnut flavoring/extract, mixed in heavy cream (not milky smelling). Sure. It's fine. Nothing special, perhaps overhyped.
Just came to Athens Greece, quite hot day,my sister owns it and i sprayed it one hour before.I wanna vomit but everyone is sleeping right now.As many others mentioned, causes nausea really bad. It is very sweet and i think i smelled it thousand times before in my life .Not unique, not intresting fragrance, though i can understand the appeal, lots if women like extra sweet parfumes. Maybe during winter would be a little bit better. No safe blind buy. P.S My fave fragrance is Lovely by Sarah Jessica Parker, which has the same dna as Narcisso Rodriguez for her edt ,but lighter.
My sweet, dear perfume. For me, Zadig & Voltaire This is her is the real OG. This is one of the perfumes that got me into this universe. It is such a complex and interesting scent. I’ve never smelled anything like this before. It’s sweet and very sophisticated. Everyone around me associates me with this perfume, although I don’t really wear it anymore. It’s been my one and only fragrance for years and years. I will always love you. With love, me.
Kamoooo tak tohle bude asi drahý co xd
This is by far the perfume I get the most compliments on when I wear it. One of my favourite scents
I think this is fine. It’s not for me. There’s way too much pepper and sandalwood. It almost makes my nose burn it’s so dry. It’s weird because it reminds me of sunscreen but it’s also not something that would be good for summer. I don’t dislike the smell, but I find it to be a strange and ultimately discordant experience.
This is definitely a fall/winter scent because it leans warm, but the pepper keeps it feeling clean and modern. I don’t know if I would call it a true lactonic but there is a well rounded creaminess to it. The vanilla doesn’t come through strongly for me. This fragrance makes me think of the feeling you get when it’s cold outside in October and you’re warm inside watching horror movies, both comforting and exciting
the drydown smells like vomit
Gorgeous but not very long lasting...unfortunately because its really beautiful.
This perfume is STRONG. I bought it in 2019, I loved it for a year and got sick of it at some point, but still wear it from time to time. This is a statement perfume, when you get in the room, the whole room knows. I fell in love with it the first time I smelled it, it does smell a bit synthetic, but in a good way - very modern, strong, a perfume with presence.
One of my best blind buys, comforting and creamy scent with a pepper start. At first this opening kinda shocked me because in the reviews people are saying that this is a sweet and soft perfume, but after it drys it feels like a muted, elegant and sugary vanilla whipped cream. I don't smell any sandal here, but the base is definitely musk. I can't say that it's my favorite, cuz it doesn't feel milky enough, more like a vanilla custard. My opinion : 7.5/10
I tried this at a store and really loved it! It was a cozy, comfortable, easy to wear scent. Wanted to purchase a full bottle straight away! Well, I bought the bottle some time after and the first spray just smells like a metallic generic vanilla that I don’t really enjoy 😖. I believe this is one of the perfumes that needs some maceration to become good. I will keep it quiet at the wardrobe for now and hopefully it will get better within a few months.
This is one of my very liked fragrances, but I have to say that if I smell this for too long it does get me a bit sick. I'm someone that cannot wear very strong scents unless I want to get a headache or become nauseous and this is a particularly strong one. It lasts a long time on both clothes and skin and the projection is also very good! It had a certain note that differentiates it from the gourmant category, maybe chestnut? All in all, it sure packs a punch and it isn't very blind buy safe. The first time I smelled this I also did not enjoy it very much since I usually like airy-er scents. But! This grew on me!
It seems I can't stop wearing This is Her in the winter. This is an uncomplicated, creamy sandalwood, sweetened by indulgent whipped cream; I think the chestnut is the ingredient that makes the whole combination "recognizable" and warm. Is it super sweet? Maybe for a hot summer day, but for fall and winter, it is precise and delicious. Yes, I have owned and worn Fields at Nightfall by Zara, and I prefer This is Her. The sandalwood here is more prominent; the sweetness comes mostly from the whipped cream, while FaN is way more focused on an ambery sweetness provided by the praline (more like a praline treat). In addition, the amount of flowers I detect (combined with the woody base) in This is Her makes it "attractive"; it has a slight touch of "I'm feminine, not only sweet and cozy." I know most reviewers classify This is Her as a lactonic fragrance, but I wouldn't say so. I think it is creamier than lactonic (there's a difference), it does not smell like sweet milk like other fragrances (Blanche Bête, Milk Commodity, etc.), and it does not make ME nauseous. Nothing niche or complex, but delicious and intimate! Projection and Sillage: 10.
This has the makings of a great gourmand - creamy, sugary, a little nutty - but is strong to the point of being overpowering, and heavily artificial. Incredible lasting power and projection! Like being suffocated by a white, fluffy, faux fur cushion
This is so warm and cozy; if you like creamy and clean perfumes with that slight lactonic note this is for you. I love this fragrance; the only downside is that the projection is terrible; you have to get close to your wrists to smell it. If you want a similar fragrance with better projection Fields at nightfall by Zara is good, only that it leans more powdery instead of creamy.
smells like a vanilla Dove beauty bar
Guys it has been reformulated......⚠️ It used to smell like a comforting warm hug. It was intoxicating with sweet creaminess and yummy chestnut, huge projection and amazing sillage 🤍🌰🤍🌰🤍 It doesn't smell like that anymore 😥 Now all it has is cheap muscs. Still fluffy muscs, but also "body odor" musc that smells "old"; not vintage, but "expired old" . Also as someone else said "sour milk". They have ruined a masterpiece. WHY?!?! - (Tested: Douglas Parfümerie in Germany, 2026, so it's new and original).
Blind buy. The notes and reviews promised good. But what a disppointment. Cold, sharp unnatural vanilla, way too lactonic with a hint of salty water and it stays the same until is washed off. No top notes, no middle notes and no base tones, only the harsh chemicaly smell for 12 hours. I wanted to like this, but no.
