Sweet Like Candy

i would give my first born for this perfume to last longer. perfectly sweet, to the point i found a dupe house that makes an oil version of the perfume and hopefully it will last much longer. don’t spend full price on this cause there’s a bunch of stores that sell it for cheaper than retail price.

Like litchee to me. Delicious. I love it but it's so short lived, about 20 min, I can't justify a FB. DM me if you find a longer lasting dupe that projects. Ty!

this scent really is as the name states. sweet and tart scent. i love wearing it to the beach. i do have to carry it in my purse for touch ups throughout the day because the longevity is no longer than 2 hours.

Sweet Like Candy is a pleasant, simple, sweet scent that is great for layering. My nose picks up mostly berry and marshmallow. I still like her, but I definitely don't reach for her as often as I used to. It's a safe buy if you enjoy sweet fragrances. I get about 4 hours on skin.

It’s like that fruity sweet rue 21 we all wore in highschool. Similar to a lot of brands, this one stands out by being the best blended and is not linear like most of them

Sweet, fruity, light, and affordable. Easy compliment-getter, but might read as a little too sweet for some. I don't find it too overbearing, I find that it dries down to being a little more airy and powdery on me. Creamy/vanilla notes are a little fainter, as it pulls more fruity/sweet on initial spray to me. It's cute for what it is! It's what you'd expect for a sweet and affordable simple fragrance, and it does it's job. :)

The smell of the popular, pretty girls who bullied you during junior high and high school in the early 00's. Not as gourmand or creamy as I was expecting, but more of a sweet fruity floral. Dark berries, fresh florals, and musk, very light and airy. There was a ubiquitous perfume that smelled like this back in the day. Maybe Sweet Pea from B&BW, Britney Spears Midnight Fantasy, or something along those lines. The girls would spray themselves down in class, after gym in the locker room to cover up the smell of sweat, in the hallway you might pass by a cloud of it. If I ever want to relive those years, I'll wear this, but instead choose to be nice to other women.

I like all Ariana Grande perfumes, but this one isn't my fave. It was fun to wear when I had it. Always got compliments when I was wearing it in high school, though.

for a white girl in highschool or college. its sweet just how she wants to appear as well as affordable so she pays no mind to get herself a caramel crunch frappe from starbucks. nothing in this scent is caramel related actually.

This smell is the smell of the bully girls in high school; I swear, My former friends who did me terrible things with me smelled exactly like this. I don't know why, but it's a bit like the smell that used to be in shopping malls.

Feels like robbing teen girls with substandard product. A lot of these cheap perfumes barely fit the description of a perfume. Sweet nothingness.

I blind bought this for a 1oz bottle costing me $25 since I couldn't find a tester of it anywhere (weird). Was originally looking for cloud or cloud 2.0 but oh well. With all that aside, I was initially disappointed with this fragrance. However as time goes on I can appreciate it more. To me it smells like a generic perfumey smell and despite the name being sweet like candy it actually isn’t too sweet but just the perfect amount. It starts off smelling generic and fruity but when it dries down it does get the sweet marshmallow (that doesn’t smell super synthetic like Ari thank God…) and florals. It’s well balanced and it smells like the sweet girly older sister you look up to (ironically enough my older sister smelled very similar to this despite not wearing this perfume haha). I think this layered with musky or vanilla perfumes is where it shines.

The perfume I bought probably has gone bad, but this is very sour for me. I thought it would be sweeter when it dries down but it's still as sour. I only smell fruity sweetness rather than candy sweetness. Longevity wasn't that good either. I'd rather buy other perfumes from Ariana.

TLDR Should be called Fruity Like Berries instead of Sweet Like Candy and we need a SLC Extreme/Intense/Extrait/Parfum. I've had this for about a year and a half now and I do still like it but it's still so weak so I never reach for it. You couldn't wear this on it's own and expect it to last or other people to smell it. Maybe if you have the lotion, body mist AND the perfume you'd leave a scent trail otherwise it's only good for layering with other vanilla/marshmallow or fruity scents. It'd go with just about anything really because it's simple and linear. I was supposed to try it in the heat last summer but forgot so gonna try it tomorrow and see how it fares. A cheap knock off I got from eBay lasts longer but it smells closer to Ari. It's nice though and it is sweet, just not in a candyish way and definitely not in a marshmallow way. More in the way Britney's Midnight Fantasy is, though they don't smell identical there's definitely a resemblance with the sugary berry scents. I'm so surprised someone further down said it was "super, SUPER, powdery" not just super, but super SUPER, when it's not powdery at all. Maybe a tiny little bit when it dries down. Definitely not lactonic at all either. Trust me, if you're buying it for the fluffy powdery marshmallow or whipped cream you'll be disappointed. I have to really try hard to pick out the whipped cream and it's only because I know it's there. I cannot find the marshmallow at all and I'm a massive marshmallow lover. It's a full on fruity scent like you'd get in a body spray called Summer Berry Punch of something. However, having said all that, it's kind of addictive. I really wish it was stronger. A Sweet Like Candy Extreme, Intense, 2.0, Extrait or Parfum would be amazing. I hope she does it one day.

Sweet vanilla whipped cream with hints of pear and berries. The berries are tart, though. I find this goes with a lot for layering when I want to add a sweet lactonic touch to something. It goes well with pear/moss/amber in a dupe I have for Le Labo's Another 13, and it adds a girly flair to my pear/violet/cedar dupe for Byredo's Mojave Ghost. This also pairs really well with Le Monde Gourmand's Fleur de Blonde, which is a more pear-forward Glossier You skin scent in my opinion. Sweet Like Candy is a little too sweet for me on her own, but I like her layered!

One of my favorites of hers, very sweet and fruity. My only gripe is that it doesn't last more than maybe an hour before I can't smell it anymore D:

Wonderful! It's a very well-balanced perfume, somewhere between sweet and creamy, fruity and fresh. I must say that, so far, from my old collection of gourmand perfumes, it's the only one that has survived. I find it perfect for any weather. On my skin, in the heat, it tends to become sweeter than it actually is; however, it retains its fresh blackberry note. It's excellent for reapplying without being bothersome. Now, if you're looking for a perfume with enormous projection, this isn't for you. I love that it's not cloying; it's simply delicious. My mouth waters when I wear it.

Smells great, just like the name says, it's sweet like candy. Just has a monumental issue: it disappears in literally 30 seconds. Has absolutely no lasting power and 0 sillage. Really sad cause it's a very pretty feminine smell but 5 minutes after spraying it on my hand it's almost undetectable.

It's going in the sell/trade bin. Not because It's bad by any means! I like it actually and would make a nice layering scent as it's pretty linear, but it has ZERO lasting power. I sprayed it about maybe 2 hours ago (if that) and it's literally gone... it's faintly still a whisper on the shoulder of my shirt, but that also could be my detergent. Also not a fan whatsoever or else I'd suck it up and support her, but I'm not so no harm, no foul. BTW - It does not smell like 'Pink Friday" or "Mod Blush" like in 'This perfume reminds me of' 'section' because oddly enough I am also testing both of those today at the same time, LOL (and both have more lasting power but do not smell as nice) ***Want to buy or trade for something on my want board, DM me :) Mine is a 3.4oz tester bottle in box.

I get so many compliments on this. I usually dislike heavy gourmands but this is very fruity and airy.

I really love this perfume super sweet and light and fluffy kind of fruity vanilla marshmallow scent but the projection and longevity are so bad, this maybe lasts 2 hours if you’re lucky but I guess for the lower price you kind of expect it. The smell is 9/10 for me but I would not buy the full bottle because the performance is so bad

Headache in a bottle

I love this perfume! I have been loving sweet fruity scents recently and this is amazing! It lasts for me. All day I’ll keep smelling it and it lasts along time on clothing. It is juvenile but I’m a child at heart 🌺

There is no way to better describe my high school years than this perfume. It says it all. It smells exactly like sugary blackberries and vanilla marshmallows, and I used to wear this to school every single day. I remember it fading away pretty quickly, but it was cheap enough that I didn't mind. If you like very girly, sweet perfumes, then this won't break your wallet.
