I waited so long to smell this and tbh it's really nothing special unfortunately. U probably smelled it somewhere on another dude, it's just a basic winter designer fragrance similar to some ysl, jpg or old armani code. Heavy on lavander and tonka, I thought it was more focused on leather and whiskey but not. Kinda disappointed

Sampled it a couple years ago and tought it smelled nice but nothing more ´til it ran out and I understood later on in my fragrance journey how nothing smelled liked this on the market. It may not be everyone’s cup of tea I know but it’s not your ´dime a dozen’ frag either. Gonna need to EBay this and pay silly prices I’m affraid guys.

Given to me by one of my best friends recently. This is never leaving the collection. Unique boozy and fresh scent that I had not smelled until very recently and it sucks they discontinued this. Should have kept this in line up and scrapped the expansion of the bad boy lineup. One of the best things I’ve ever smelled. Don’t care that it isn’t beast mode, it smells great. One of the few discontinued fragrances I would recommend to someone who doesn’t care about price or performance. If you want something different this is a fantastic scent.

The whiskey plays behind the leather. But dont be fooled this is only analysing nose to skin. This is a bright fresh leather scent, subtle but decently strong despite the EDT build. Its great if you want to move away from the heavy amber, patch etc loaded bass notes you usually get with the famous EDP’s. Dont let the short longevity claims sway you either, its above average for an EDT - I get 4-8 hours depending on temperature. Whilst I can analyse and find most of the notes this really can be simplified by describing it as a sharp woody pencil shaving start that quickly disappears with a tonka like subtle whiskey taking over and mixing with the weaker woodiness. Fifteen minutes in and its a gorgeous smooth suede with subtle vanillic overtones. The woodiness and whiskey very subdued. Absolute stunner for the price.

It actually reminds me of dior homme intense or valentino uomo intense, same type of floral notes, very nice fragrance but kinda feels like a generic european fall winter fragrance. scent 8.5/10

If you are still suffering the unavailability of CH Men Privé, I'm happy to report that Error 411 from Dua is a really good dupe. It doesn't just smell close; it really smells like it. It's not as boozy, but it lasts longer than the 2018 batches I owned. Both times I bought it, both times I eventually gifted it away because while I liked the scent profile, something about it bothered me. This dupe is sweeter and smoother, and super sniffable. It lacks what bothered my nose from the original. So yeah, Error 411 is a legit alternative!

I work at walgreens and after a year of me working there one day i was looking at the fragance section and notice this fragance there and for 70$(3.4oz)i went straight to the internet to see if the fragance was good and realized i found a hidden gem. Today is the third time using it and it’s really one of them, very seductive and addicting! Dry-down going crazy right now. These days i’ve been feeling in love with masculine seductive fragance and that’s what i really get of this perfume, i totally recommend it, i think you will not be dissapointed if you blind buy. If it was available in the market i could of pick it up for every day night signature scent but i think i will use it for very very special occations if you know you know. But at the end of the day like i tell everyone, my opion really don’t matter 😂, always be wise with what you pick when you blind buy a fragance, nothing worse than dropping a bag on cologne and the mf stinks, salute kings 🫡💯

If you enjoy boozy scents this is good. Not EXTREMELY boozy, you get the citrus opening and in the drydown the leather and whiskey really shows itself. Smells good if you wanna go for that bad boy kind of scent. Best used in the evening/date nights. Sadly discontinued and i'm saving my bottle because i really enjoy this fragrance

One of my first frangrances and still my favorite. It has leather, alcohol and lavender that gives a warm boozy feeling. It's empowering, potent and very masculine. Best worn by night in the cold weather with a leather jacket, but it can still perform well during mild heat. It used to be my signature scent before it was discontinued. I still hope it will come back someday in the future. Love it.

I’m looking to get rid of my bottle

Fragrance Journal Entry #66 To date this is the best leather forward fragrance i've ever tried. This is masculinity in a bottle, leather jacket, smokey, boozy, checks all the rugged boxes. However i do find it hard to wear as it's not very versatile and my personality doesn't really fit this scent profile so i sold it. It's a shame they disscontinued this because i feel it deserves a place in the fragrance community. Rating: 7.8/10 Blind Buy Safe? NO

One of my favourite scents, boozy leathery not too sweet. Great smell 10/10 for me, likeable boozy leather with sour-sweet note. Really strong projection for 1-2 hours, longevity is average on my skin lasted around 5-6 ish hours, then it sit closer to the skin. Best wear in Air-conditioned or colder places. I wore this during class and night out, and received many compliments with it. Not a beastly fragrance but very sensual and fantastic smelling cologne. Definitely grab this if you got the chance.

Stunning opening (don’t think I’ve smelled anything better), the dry down however is disappointing in comparison. 7/10.

Found a brand new vintage 2017 purple juice batch in a local fragrance shop. Boozy, sweet, ambery goodness.

CH MEN PRIVE is a masterpiece. The fragrance that beat them all. The sexiest, boozy party scent. Most masculine scent a man can wear. To me, it feels both timeless and irreplaceable but its seems to be discontinued. 10/10

Great scent, but when I'm paying $90 USD for a fragrance, it has to last more than 3 1/2 hours. It's no longer relevant for that reason alone.

Why would a company discontinue a masterpiece like that and then release boring bad boy flanker after flanker,i don't get it

CH Men Privé smells like the guy who volunteers to DJ at a house party and only plays 2010s club hits in the 2010s. Grapefruit and whiskey up front? Loud and playful, The tonka-leather combo later? Pure late-night charisma. It’s nostalgic, a little messy, but somehow still stylish. CH Men Privé is that mood. The opening is bold, fruity but boozy, like showing up late on purpose, then it smooths out with warm leather and vanilla at the end to finish. Basically, this fragrance never left the 2010s, and that’s exactly why it works. It's such a sexy fragrance. My favourite of all time.

Smells similar to Ferragamo Uomo Signature. Cool bottle but not worth the price tag anymore.

Recently got a bottle of this in a trade. It's really good. I get leather, booze, and a little cuban cigar. It's dry, warm. It's somewhere in between Dior Homme Parfum and Fahrenheit for me. I layer it sometimes with DHP and DHI. Good stuff. Really masculine, well blended, good performance.

Is this a combination of the Badboy concept with Boss? There’s definitely a reminiscence of water with pepper here, maybe something floral added, and I actually like it. Interestingly, I detect notes of Guilty Absolute — like red leather. However, it quickly settles into its familiar character. You could say — this time they got it right. All those Ultime and Badboy fragrances were somewhat over the top, but this one seems deep enough to consider seriously. After a while, it becomes ordinary, loses its spiciness, and drifts toward The One or something like that — a sweetness without character. Since I detect rose here, there might be a similarity with D&G Pour Homme, which might interest some dad. Strangely, it also twists a bit toward Reflection; just like Joop Homme offered a turn toward gum, here Herrera trims down Badboy’s spices and leaves an undefined base of Reflection — that is, compared to Reflection, a sweetness without expression. Still, it’s not a bad scent — quite the opposite, it’s good. It seems better than The One and other derivatives, without offering much airiness. But that’s a subjective impression.

Probably one of my favourite fragrances ever. Manly, sexy, warm and spicy. Great for colder months or just for going out at night.

Masculine, Raw, Unapologetic, and Sexy. Signature worthy in the cooler months. Leather and Whiskey. Sillage is very noticeable in the first 2 hours. Longevity is great 10+ hours on my skin. 10/10.
