Allure Homme Sport Superleggera

Somewhat modernized Chanel allure homme sport edt with great longevity and projection. Great fragrance but absolutely not worth 200€

Im shocked this is rated so highly! Its definitely not bad by any means, but its slightly sweeter Versace Pour Homme. When I sprayed it today I actually had two separate people think it was Versace! Its literally a 98% match. Up the sweetness only slightly, with a smidgen of sandalwood. Absolutely the weakest of the Allure Homme Sport line & not worth the chanel price tag when you can buy an EXACT copy in many other brands. Especially since Chanel never ends up at discounters. Positives - the dry down starts to differentiate itself from Versace about 2 hours in but only slightly Let down by Chanel who usually have great scents.

when i sprayed the sample of superleggera for the first time, it smelled like a popsicle, was sweet and had a cooling effect to it, but that diminished in a matter of a minute on the dry-down. this is ok, it smells like a slightly better version of mfk's gentle fluidity silver, which i owned very briefly in the past. it makes me think of a gin-tonic with a subtle bite from a spice, the spice reminds me of cumin, i mean there's definitely cumin in here, has a bit of a body-odor feel to it, but completely non-offensive, and i'm guessing it's to mimic a masculine musk. would say that the signature chanel musk is missing from this, which is a bummer, i usually enjoy that part from the others in the lineup. this a definite skin-scent, with little projection if any as well as sillage. i would say if you're a younger guy and if you own a main-stream blue freshie in your rotation already you probably don't need this, bc most have a musk in it already, which is largely the premise of superleggera, and you'd be better off spending money on fragrances that people can actually smell off of you. i mean even with me personally, i would rather rather wear bleu de chanel over this. i think this is pass for me at the moment, but still a respectable release from Chanel nonetheless.

Alright are we really not talking about how goated this is. Smells like Creed Original Santal but with way more citrus and longevity. This is definitely the best daily fragrance you can wear, I don’t care if you like sweet, oud, or LV, or whatever this is the stuff you want to wear everyday. I’ll be buying back ups for sure and so should you guys. Certified sleeper, if you’re reading this just stop what you’re doing and get it. As someone’s who’s been on both ends, It doesn’t get better than this for a daily, I promise for all my guys this is free game stop buying other shit and just get this.

Like Allure Homme Sport but much lighter, brighter, and more citrusy. It still has that creamy soft element, maybe hints of tonka bean. Great addition but not the best value. Scent: 8.5 Sillage: 7 Longevity: 6.5

It's a very "perfume-y perfume" if that makes sense. It is "generic" in the way that a Rolex Submariner is "generic." Perhaps iconic and ubiquitous would be a better term. If I had to describe the vibe here, I'd have to describe it like this: You are taken back to primary school. You are a freshman. You are at your first homecoming. You run into your crush and decide to hang around them until you find it within yourself to ask them to share a dance together. All the while, there is this giddy feeling of butterflies in your stomach, the intensity of which you have not felt in many years. Perhaps she is your wife now and you think back on that first time you truly met. Perhaps it didn't last. Perhaps nothing came of it at all and you both moved on with your lives. Regardless, this fragrance smells like that feeling of butterflies which I have just described and will take you back to that feeling you had that first time you really felt that feeling of "a good awkwardness". I have noticed that when you first buy a new bottle you do generally want to spray out 3-5 sprays give it a week or two to sit. As it oxidizes the citrus aromachems will mellow out a bit and give way to the airy musks and ethereal "woods." For $173 I would think this should be done from the factory... But nonetheless it happens very quickly. When you first open it it will smell more generic than it does once it's been open for a couple weeks when it reaches its full depth and smooths out. Maybe it's all in my head. Maybe it's just my own nose adjusting. But I've noticed it twice now. Surely that can't be a coincidence?

Great gym scent, longevity suits this as this frag on my skin projects for about an hour then becomes a skin scent. Nicely crafted and great citrus vibe but nothing groundbreaking, so don't expect anything different from an citrusy woody smell. 7/10 fragrance overall

amazing citrus musk and woods tho is it really like really worth the price

creamy lemon-y pop up front is invigorating. After the opening, it slides into a pretty formulaic in the sense that it kinda smells like "...chanel..." While it's a safe scent and suitable for nearly every occasion, I find it to be uninteresting overall.

The dickriding that this fragrance is getting is genuinely out of hand. It's a basic mass appealing freshie that everyone in the fragrance community is going crazy over because it was discontinued at one point. Smells like your average men's deodorant, except it's like 200$, just get sospiro contralto or vibrato at that point lol. Blanche edition clears this, and it's cheaper too.

Versace pour homme if it somehow became more peak

I like this a lot more than the original. It doesn’t share much of the Allure DNA. It is less citrusy and more woodsy and musky. On my skin, I can’t tell if the performance is weak, or if I go nose blind to it. I would say this is one of the best designer freshies that has come out in recent years. It is really nice!

I got this one a month ago, and I have to say it’s really grown on me with wear after doubting it at first. I think I may even prefer this now to Edition Blanche (which I love and was my favourite Allure). This one seems to project off of me a bit more. It’s got elements of the Allure Sport Cologne, but stronger, which is a win. Falls into that “sport in name only” category alongside Dior Homme Sport 2021 and the new Givenchy Society Sport. Sure, you can wear it after a workout, but it is also very suitable for work, day to day, or even a summer evening out. Very nice, but it's Chanel, so of course it is.

holy this smells just like creed's original santal but an airer version of it so its lighter and projects more with notes of creamy vanilla and spice like almonds totally unexpected from the notes and comments ive read before sampling.

This has become my most worn and most comforting scent. I love almost all the Allure DNA but this is just the right mix of the OG and Cologne Sport. Still a complex freshy but also totally mainstream and non offensive to anyone. Typical soft projection for Chanel but it actually lasts for almost the whole day but a small bubble of projection indoors. It does project pretty strong when your in the heat. Just like the rest of the line it has to dry down to give you the best part of the fragrance. I may like this more than the OG Allure EDT. It is at worst 2nd of all the Allure line. First fragrance to make me this happy in years! 9/10

combination of allure homme sport (but fresher) with aventus cologne

Around 4 hrs longevity

I was given a sample of this last week. The opening is similar to Allure Homme Sport, just with much more citrus, but things deviate at the dry down. Allure Homme Sport transforms into an amber woody and creamy vanilla, with some clean earthiness from vetiver and musk, but Superleggera ends up smelling more dry woody, more airy, and more musky, but not as dynamic, unique, or interesting in my opinion. Superleggera smells really, really good, but I won't be getting a full bottle because it's simply not interesting enough to drop close to $200 for it. It's also fairly redundant to a few other bottles in my collection, too. Get Superleggera if it will be the only citrus freshie you own - it’s very good, safe and mass appealing, and versatile. If you already have a couple, I suggest trying OG Allure Homme Sport first because it's dry down is different from other citrus-forward freshies, even, yes, it's "clone", Versace Pour Homme. 8.9/10 with .1 added because the bottle is pretty cool.

It's good but not a must have. Chanel has fragrances that are much better than this release. Allure Homme Edition Blanche Eau de Parfum, chef's kiss!

Smells really pleasant and youthful but I can see why some say “generic”.

Really wonderful high quality citrus musk that dries down with some subtle amber woods. Sorry if I just wrote the notes haha. Easy to call it simple, but it's just perfectly executed.

Feels like the opening of Versace pour Homme mixed with the drydown of Allure Homme Sport.

To people out here describing it as a blue scent. That it is not. Its a fresh citrus musky cologne that gives 90s money vibes. There is no shower gel thing going on here. This is 90s masculine fresh at its finest. Reminds me of Eddie Bauer Adventure a bit.

The opening reminded me of Aventus Cologne, but dry down is literally a refined, higher quality Dylan Blue/Axe. Masculine and sexy, don't know if it is worth the price tho.

There is not much to dislike here. This is your standard designer blue fragrance, done to perfection. Synthetic and mass appealing. Decent performance perfect for the office.

After all that glazing online, I was nearly going to blind by this perfume. And today I have tested and honestly not special I’ll save my money buy a something better perfume. Dry Woody citrus as they say just use it at the office because it won’t offend anyone. 👎🏼 Instead of buying this for the ridiculous price buy le sel d'issey eau de parfum.

I find this perfume to be the most versatile of the collection of perfumes I have to this date. Made for summer but works well in spring and fall. 7 hour longevity and 2.5 hours of projection. Scent profile is common but this one has chanel refinement added on top.
