Yummy. This is probably my best summer purchase yet. It’s so beautifully blended. Fresh, crisp, and smells like you just stepped out of the shower. The dry down is my favorite part. The florals start to come through while the citrus is still there, and together they smell so clean and refreshing. I’d say it’s a pretty safe blind buy if you love fresh, citrusy scents. It’s instantly uplifting. I just hope the longevity is as good as the scent itself. I smelled the EDP in the store first, and on me it had a slightly sporty, almost men’s cologne kind of vibe. I actually liked it, but then I tried the EDT on my skin and completely fell in love. The iris, patchouli, and vetiver are gorgeous, and I genuinely can’t stop smelling my wrist whenever I wear it. I’ve tried Chance Eau Tendre before, but this one feel much more unique to me. It’s crisper, cleaner, and has that sparkling freshness that’s perfect for hot weather.

Bright, refreshing, clean, vibrant. A summery perfection. Perfectly balanced. It is equally citrusy and floral with gorgeous base of soft musk and vetiver. The musk softens it all into a feminine veil. Applied twice a day on a hot day it lasts vividly for an entire day till night. Possibly my favourite citrus.

One of my most favorite citrus fragrances for summer, great for walking around outdoors, or indoors (which lasts much longer inside). The citrus opening is strong, and easily unisex, but lasts a good 4-6 hours. One of the longest lasting citruses I have smelt recently. With most citrus fragrances, they all only live in the opening and then die down within 30-90 minutes. The cedar, patchouli, pink pepper, vetiver, and iris here really help carry those citruses through, even though it makes the fragrance lean more on the unisex or borderline masculine side for a while. The projection and sillage on this is still very excellent and performs better than many "luxury" fragrances I have tried. The drydown then turns into feminine white florals after about 5-6 hours or so. The white musk base with a touch of patchouli always smells phenomenal (at least to me) and helps balance the top and middle notes without it being too fruity, screechy, overwhelming, or cheap (body spray territory). Great for cutting through heat and sweat. The Eau de Toilette lasts 6-8 hours on clothes easily, which makes its performance truly reminiscent of my favorite EDTs from 2001-2012. For this reason, I rate Chanel Chance Fraiche Eau de Toilette a great value for the price. I'll definitely be grabbing a small bottle of this for the summer.

Whichever way you look at it, a Chanel scent will always be chic. The Chance line is a deliberate crowd pleaser, it is not for people who love quirky or heavier niche scents, and especially Eau Tendre or Eau Fraiche are also aimed at younger audiences. It seems to me that this line is stripped of everything that could be challenging or surprising in any way to a regular nose with a turned up and amplified Chanel DNA and what is left is the Chance line. Saying that, I absolutely get it, find the idea very smart ..and obviously, they've nailed it. Eau Fraiche is beautifully fresh and it works very well with my skin chemistry and so I wear it - but not the scent itself, I wear the body lotion and the body oil. This way I find, I get the most out of it. Wearing it this way, it does not try to be more than it is because it smell like a luxury body care product in the first place. The citrus and cedar are beautifully warmed up by the amber and vetiver - with creamy flowers int he middle - ..or at least that's how I read it. It's a perfectly fresh casual and upbeat scent, meaning lunch date with friends or even a gym session. Guys love it on the opposite sex and they love wearing it themselves too. Rather good lasting power and decent projection.

The Chanel DNA will always be a night club/bar scent to me because it is always present in those places. It can be cloying, I distinctly remember being trapped in a movie theatre beside someone who had over sprayed and I nearly tossed my cookies...ruined the movie for me. I'm just not a Chanel girl. Anyway this one is just like that...not for me.

I do not hate it but I also can't wear it as it gives me a mild headache. Fresh is definitely the right word to describe this perfume. The opening is very crisp, green & citrusy hence I also sense the 'air freshener' vibes which unfortunately I'm not really a fan of, it just feels a bit too sharp for my nose. I definitely like the softer drydown phase way more. It feels quite sporty (but also a bit chic in a way) and I agree with everyone who said it feels more like a unisex scent. The sillage is okay and so is the longevity.

This reminds me of the sporty tennis girl form the great gatsby. Very classic, chic, young, and aptly named. 2000s nostalgia but not restricted for that time. Not for a girly girl - that's her sister eau tendre.

May the 1.5k who voted as this being a Womans perfume step to the front coz WHAT???this is more unisex than the word unisex. This is very good,bright crisp wood with a hint of toilet cleaner which in this case,is a dirty pleasure, The longevity and sillage is very impressive for such a light/airy scent,will layer so good with mainly female perfumes due to the fact it will give it some edge and depth which is mainly why i bought it lol. The only thing thats kind of a bummer is the fact that the EDP & EDT is so SIMILAR (basically the same) in packaging i accidently bought the EDP and thats how im here💀oops. Im not dissapointed because i love the wood in here more than the sparkling aldehydics & jasmine in the EDT so whatever. Still not sure if i would repurchase since its abit tooo masculine for my taste

It’s pleasant enough, fresh, woody with a sharp blast of citrus. It smells too much like cologne for my liking. Very unisex, maybe even more male leaning.

Great fragrance but avoid any women wearing this fragrance. They are very sophisticated and intelligent to the point where they would manipulate you and have you questioning yourself. Bad experience. Avoid.

My first designer fragrance, also gifted by my mom (she has the og and all the flankers). It’s a very fresh scent and office friendly. Don’t really reach for it as much, I prefer the eau tendre flanker, my nose changed so that’s my go to now.

this was my first designer perfume, gifted to me by my mother, who was gifted this by someone else... like everyone else said, it's a freshie that leans pretty unisex; i'm surprised the votes lean so feminine, especially when the female frag trend these days is so explicitly gourmand. opens super crisp and citrus, and settles as a subtle woody thing... personally don't get a ton of patchouli, maybe more vetiver. sillage is decent but longevity is meh, especially worn in the heat as a freshie is supposed to be worn. dunno if it's the green liquid but it evokes a young woman on her way to/from tennis in her tennis whites.

I have never tried this before, because with the exception of the og Chance, I found the flankers to be a little too youthful for me. But when I saw on here that "woody" was the main accord, and the AI generated review summary mentioned the patchouli may be too heavy for some, I had to go and try it because I really enjoy fresh or floral perfumes grounded in earthiness. But I got absolutely none of that- just a bright, fresh scent. Don't get me wrong, it's not bad, but contains nothing that resembles the original Chance so I don't know why it's a flanker instead of its own scent. If I smelled this blind, I would assume it's from the Clean/Clean Reserve brand, because it resembles many of their rain/aquatic/shower fresh scents. The temperature here is in the mid 80's today and it lasted for only an hour or two on me. It's not a bad smell, and I'd like it more if it wasn't so familiar and it met my expectations of being a woody scent with noticeable patchouli

What a generic citrus scent...very synthetic and headache inducing. Like a lime juice with chemicals. Yuk. Anyone who loves this probably have a distorted sense of smell. You can't possibly leave a correct identification fragrance review. And it doesn't smells like Versace Versense at all. Not even close

Idk how no one’s saying this smells like Versace man eau fraiche. Nice simple freshie that’s pretty unisex, good every day wear, but not worth the money at all.

Got this as a gift from my bf. Aside from not liking the scent cause it just gives generic white woman, this one hurts my sinuses and gives me a headache. Could be the florals, but in this case I think the cedar might be the culprit.

Love love. I just finished my bottle number 97917. Some scents mark you and accompany throughout the stages of your life and you associate specific moments. This scent accompanied me for a long time…and certainly shaped my taste in perfumery and my inclination towards citrus, fresh, woody and musky scents. I might return to chance eau fraiche someday. For now, im preserving my olfactory memories

Fresh, energizing, CK One with more fruit and fem! Love it so much! I’ve been wearing this year round and it just works. It works when I want to feel energized for a workout, when I step out of the shower and feel clean, when I’m running errands, all the day to things. So more of a casual delight! But I’d totally wear it to an event - I just like warmer sexier scents for that. Also, if you’re afraid of the patchouli notes - I can’t pick it out at all. The woody, fresh, fruity notes are the loud ones.

It’s just a very generic citrus scent, smells a bit like lime juice? It’s like key lime pie without any cream or anything that makes it smell like a dessert. Lime jello, perhaps? Maybe it’s for someone. But that someone is certainly not me.

To me, this is such a crisp, sporty scent but at the same time it's effortless and elegant. This fragrance is all about effervescent, citrus-fresh energy. Think sparkling lemon and citron upfront with soft woody notes and watery floral touches. Bright, airy, and versatile. This is a very clean, uplifting scent that works beautifully in spring and summer, and for anyone who loves a fresh, polished fragrance that’s not sweet or heavy. On my skin, it lasts a decent amount of time. Definitely longer than many other "fresh" perfumes I've tried. I would say a solid 4-6 hours of wear.

I’ve often thought that I like change too much to have a signature perfume, but that all changed when I smelled Chance Eau Fraiche. I’ve been wearing this gorgeous fragrance since 2019 and I don’t see an end in sight. Most fragrances I need a break by the time I finish the bottle, but with Eau Fraiche I never want the fragrance to run out. When I wear Eau Fraiche I get fresh out of the shower vibes, walking in the forests of Washington vibes. It’s simultaneously sporty and classy. Eau Fraiche has the great duality of being the perfect fragrance to spritz on for a hike in the woods or to wear to the office. It’s such a refreshing and sophisticated scent. Eau Fraiche is completely inoffensive, borderline tomboyish but still extremely elegant. Chanel knows how to do elegance and class. Every time I wear this fragrance I get compliments, actually mostly by men. My husband LOVES this fragrance as well. I’m pretty sure it’s his absolute favorite! He doesn’t usually care about perfume, at all, but I know he likes a perfume on me if he chooses to say something. Chance Eau Fraiche could definitely be a year-round scent especially if you live in a hot humid state like me, but it shines best in the late spring, summer, and early autumn months.

Just bought this from Macy's today and it is the most perfect citrus floral perfume I could ever ask for. I think it's beautifully done and feminine to my nose. YSL Libre smells like men's cologne to me. This also has a nice easy scent bubble that isn't offensive but pretty.
