Escentric 01

I got a sample and I like this! But if you already have Light blue you don’t need this. Same DNA. Not very long lasting at all, so I won't be buying a big size :)

I had the opportunity to try this on today. Sprayed it on my wrist. Smelled nothing. Two or three hours later I smelled my wrist again and got the distinct scent of guy neck and some iris?? Like a clean pretty boy wearing freshly laundered but soft, worn-in jersey. Tiny sillage, though I only sprayed once. Have to press my nose to my skin to sense it. But it's there. Like it transformed the smell of my own skin. I might be convinced to try a discovery box from EM.

I used to have Escentric 02 but I got rid of it because it didn’t feel like “enough”. Whatever they changed or added to it to make this, feels like the right balance to my nose. I won’t go into describing how it smells or what I smell because it feels like it’s different for almost everybody, I’ll just say that I’m happy with this variation of the molecule DNA.

This perfume is totally intriguing and my experience of it is as elusive as the scent itself. I was put into it by a lovely Mecca employee( shout out Victoria!) who suggested it for me after I told her how I loved Milky perfumes! I Have to laugh at that I think she was trying to expand my horizons. She gave me a sample of this perfume even though I didn’t ask for it . On a random day I sprayed it on to bed I smelt the bright peppery citrusy opening along with a sort of Metallic or futuristic note. Off to bed. Nothing reported. That weekend my sheets came super floral And beautiful smelling out of the laundry and dryer I couldn’t understand why. The same with my morning robe which I wore when spraying the fragrance at my wrists. I looked For the origin of the beautiful scent but was at loss. Another day I tried it for work, may have over done it as all I smelt was peppercorn and plastic for most of the day then 3rd try I sprayed and 5 minutes later hopped into the car for an appointment . Parked and when I came Back to the car shortly after I was immediately met with that same gorgeous scent. This time I knew !! It was eccentric and I’d done some research and found others also reported it stayed in their clothes sometimes after 12 washes. Another try and I smelt absolutely nothing . Another try and I became sure of the iris and pink pepper citrus Notes . Another try I coughed but smelt nothing. Another try I wore it to Bed again and this time my sheets throughout the night smelt amazing. The other day I sprayed it before Pilates and it smelt amazing as I was walking back after class I wondered who Or what smelt so Good like a whisper following me - I thought it might be a bakery or gift store or yoghurt store nearby - something sweet maybe a little floral light bright but as I kept walking I realised the smell was staying with me even as I kept passing the various suspects - it had to be me!! I love the warmth that is inside iso super and I enjoy the pepper sharp accords on a woman they are refreshing and f*n* sexy - bad ass!! I love to be the sweetnes alongside it or whatever suits me to be alongside it . I’ve tried layering but I don’t favour it , this is like a sexy sheer white shirt or cotton bed sheet its minimalism is its charm!!! It the first sample I’ve actually finished and found myself rationing so after 2 months it was a no brainer to buy a full bottle

It felt very faint from the moment I applied it; after an hour, I can barely detect anything... I'm starting to think this brand is one of the biggest scams in niche perfumery.

Curious as to why this, and EM Escentric 03 both have Penhaligon's 'juniper sling' as their number 1 "Reminds Me Of", but yet no one voted that they smell like each other. That's strange

If you want to smell clean and fresh this is the one for you..its subtle and minimal great for layering and on its own.Finished 2 bottles already. Gorgeous.

A day at the office. The first few flowers starting to bloom, days get longer, the Sun peeks through the still empty branches. A chill remains; soft metallic hues cool your nostrils. Pencil shavings and citruses, like the first day of school; confusing, you're not meant to be there. It slowly grows on you, and you settle into a routine.

In this reality 20 years after release it’s just boring. A layering option perhaps. It smells like an average something- fresh, woody, unremarkable

Very old-lady smelling, with the powdery iris being overwhelming. I still smelled it on me almost 24 hours later and it got old really fast. Two sprays was enough to tell me I hated it. My partner didn't hate it, but even he agreed it smelled like an old-lady perfume. I can't imagine this being unisex!

The smell is nice and i bought a full bottle, but the sad part is that i cant notice it after like 30 minutes to 1h; i did multiple sprays on skin and clothes; you can smell it if you shove your nose into it, and i havent asked anybody if i smell like anything or got any remarks

got a sample of the escentric 01 body lotion and it smells exactly how my moms makeup bag in the 2000s smelled. its got this really powdery compact/eyeshadow scent. dont think i like it very much

Im so annoyed that this is named so closely to Molecule 01. I tested a travel size of this, loved it and then bought a full size of Molecule 01 by mistake, which is so boring in comparison. I adore this one. You really get the Iris, lemon and woods - it's so transparent, woody and crisp. Feels very "cool girl" coded. Adore. But now I'm stuck with boring old Molecule 01.

Opens faintly ozonic, then transitions to a smooth, light citrusy biased, woodsy note. The woods is similar to cedar, but its smoother, and just a bit sweet. I guess this is what Iso E smells like, and it does not really project in a meaningful way to buy a bottle, and it really is just a tame woodsy note with a citrus bias. The iris here is pretty minimal. Not really much else to cover as it’s a relatively simple frag—pleasant, but not particularly remarkable, and underwhelming in performance.

Was filling up at a fuel station and the man at the Bowser next to me had just sprayed this on his shirt before hopping out of his car to fuel up. It was so strong and bubbly in my nose I had to walk over and ask him about it. It smelled amazing on him, woody/lilac/iris/floral, but not feminine, and the osmotic/champagne smell was crazy in its strength from over 5 metres away. So interesting!! I was a few Kilometers away before the bubbling sensation in my nose died down, like I had just sipped some chrisp dry champagne.

Nothing. a faint smell of lime, a bit of champagney buzz for 20 minutes and after that it disappeared, unless you stick your nose to my skin, which is not what i want after two sprays and an hour. A big disappointment for me

Best for autumn. Woodsy, musty, musky. Not for summer- could become cloying, sour. A thin layer of freshness threaded within. Odd somehow. I like it though. Spray it on your legs before bed and get under the covers. Let it surprise you when you lift up the blanket. It’s a comforting smell but also slightly alien. I got mine back when it first came out. My old bottle smells the same almost 20 years later. I don’t know what a new bottle smells like.

Terrible on my skin. Lemon cleaner and pencil shavings in the worst way. Moderate longevity and low sillage, as expected. I appreciate that this one works for some folks, but it's a big no for my skin chemistry.

Very pretty lemon-scented Iso E Super. Although, I don't find it particularly strong. The scent reminds me of Paper- by Commodity, which is my signature scent, also has Iso E Super as the main note, but Paper- projects to infinity and beyond on my skin and lasts hours, and this one sits very close to my skin and doesn't travel far. Maybe I am just not particularly sensitive to this specific blend of Iso E Super... It's still a very nice scent

Picnic near the cleanest water. Churchill(beverage) in a bottle. Will be one of my few choices that I can tolerate woody dry down. Minimalist, clean but unforgettable. Very different characters, but somehow this one brought back my memories with Guerlain Angelic Noir.

Very woody – like a tree that has been rained on, like the sweet/sour scent that wood, especially wood planks, gives off

Love it,so comforting,refined and clean.Would definitely get a full bottle for days where I want to be more understated and don’t really feel like wearing a perfumey perfume.

Don’t bother wasting your money on this perfume. If I remember correctly, the olfactory notes are supposed to combine with your own skin chemistry/ pheromones to create your own unique scent. Upon initial application there is an ever so slight woody/musky scent and THAT IS IT. Like no crazy magic happens that generates a totally unique scent. I feel like the concept of this perfume is its unique selling point, as opposed to its actual ability to live up to that claim.

Easily one of the most disappointing fragrances I've ever tried. It smells like a very faint artificial wood smell and it lasts for exactly 10 minutes. You might as well just not wear perfume because this does nothing. It doesn't smell BAD but it doesn't smell good either. It just goes on the skin and disappears. I don't love it on my skin, but I think it smells AMAZING on clothes. Just a little spray inside your jacket or something is perfect. Agree with the previous reviewer that it smells like the feeling of a hug. Edit: About 4 months later, I like it on my skin now! A good description imo would be a more complex Molecule 01. It still has that pencil shaving vibe (in a good way) but is way deeper and more interesting.

This is quite comforting. It smells like the feeling of a hug from my dad. It leans masculine but I love wearing this as a woman. It's woody, fresh, clean and comforting!

This is the safest fragrance you can buy, on me performance is really great, projecting allday.
