Apertura molto strana but great. A sample would've been nice to try on skin but nobody was around... It actually reminds me of a kid I was in hospital with. Idk what drugs she was on but she smelled weird. This is like that but better, clearer, clinical. I realise this is useful info to noone but me. Soz.

I have a rather unusual relationship with Cocaïne. The opening is one of the most compelling openings I have ever encountered. It is sharp, unstable, slightly uncomfortable and impossible to hold onto. Ironically, that is exactly why it works. The fragrance immediately creates desire for its own beginning. The floral heart works for me as well. It feels seductive without becoming predictable. Where I struggle is the drydown. Not because it is bad, but because it becomes too comfortable. With a name like Cocaïne, I expected the fragrance to resist resolution. I expected the tension created by the opening to remain present throughout the composition. Instead, the fragrance eventually settles into something softer and more reassuring. The result is a perfume I admire more than I wear. Ironically, I keep returning to it for the same reason people return to unfinished stories: I still think about what it almost became.

love at first sniff with this one. however, it smelled... not that good on paper. i see why people might dislike it, but fortunately (for me), i am one of those lucky bitches who can pull off indolic florals. will be wearing this on dates, as other scents like it have worked extremely well.

Nuclear, chemical, caramalized white flowers. I couldnt pull it at summer, and noone should. Great for colder days

Il problema dei profumi oggi è che si leggono troppe cose al riguardo prima di provarlo e di comprarlo. Ci si fanno aspettative, ci si illude e poi si resta delusi, arrabbiati e insoddisfatti. Si dovrebbe prima testare e poi fantasticare. Lasciare che il profumo si racconti da solo,che si esprima completamente. E poi dare il giudizio finale. Questo viene descritto come un qualcosa di tropicale esotico, con I fiori di monoi,tuberosa, gigli... e si immagina qualcosa di floreale ipnotico. Poi te lo spruzzi e senti odori freddi di canfora, benzina,odore di solvente,amaro, qualcosa che continua ad emergere e sa di benzina. Lo annusi e continua a sapere di benzina,speri che arrivino i fiori dolci e narcotici,voluttuosi, la cremosità del caramello e invece arrivano tanfate di benzina,sempre amaro,sempre respingente. Da qui inizi a odiarlo. Ti eri aperto troppo aspettando il calore e la magia e ti ritrovi con questo odore freddo e disumano che non cambia mai. Non capisco dove sentano i fiori bianchi ne la tuberosa cremosa,ogni volta che avvicino il naso alla pelle sento solvente e benzina fredda. Lo stesso effetto iniziale ricorda quello gia sentito in Tubereuse criminelle, in Flos mortis, in Tuberosa d'autunno. Sarebbe piaciuto anche a me godere di un dolce tabacco caldo,fiori di gigli e monoi tropicali ma qui c'è solo benzina,freddo e amarezza. Il nome è fuorviante.

Someone mentioned this smelling like an old man's morning breath, and to some extent I have to agree. The opening is heavy on the lily and tuberose, with an overwhelming "off smell" reminiscent of gingivitis or tartar/dental plaque. After about ten minutes it settles further into the white florals, and a somehow very pink bubblegum-like scent appears. The tartar still lingers in the background and hits you like a slap in the face every time you think it might have gone away. While this scent is not for me, I do enjoy the clean, strong and beautiful projection of tuberose and lily.

Before smelling this, I heard that is strange, but I didn't expected to be so awful. This smells like naphthalene, like a garderobe of an old lady. It's disgusting...Is really there someone who like this or my nose is the problem 😀

It’s definitely different, but not nearly as weird as people here make it out to be. It opens with this menthol-like lily and tuberose, then slowly shifts into a sweet, caramel-like phase. The minty touch and florals are still there in the background, while monoi and patchouli start to come through. After a while, it all blends into this warm, aromatic cloud of monoi, patchouli, and caramel. Even one spray is super strong, it really sticks with you until you wash it off. That said, it’s not something I’d use every single day. Wearing it back-to-back can get pretty overwhelming. After a few months, I honestly got a bit tired of it. And I really don’t get what people find so “disgusting” or “bodily” about it. It doesn’t smell like bad breath, saliva, or anything like that at all.

It smells like an old wardrobe where you’ve sprayed moth repellent.

I've had this bottle for years and now that it has aged, the caramel is less syrupy. It now just provides a sweet/creamy backdrop for the TUBEROSE...austere and lush. This reminds me of walking through a garden at night...the moon shining down on milky white blooms, their perfume permeating the air. It's a warm evening here in the California desert and this smells gorgeous.

Big NO for me, tested on others as well to see if it projects that bad and now i see what was meant by "dentist" office smell - guys its clear spit, saliva in hot day when you dont drink enough water - in its purest, ended by clove bubblegum. So if you like spicy spit go ahead, but its certailny not seductive and hell in no way positively animalic, repulsive only. Very clearly described also by maraciobanu down there.

I love how so many people find white florals absoultely repulsive and then proceed to try this. LoL, this is not for you folks. This is for the rock chick that loves leather jackets, cigarettes, and the sexiest indolic white flowers. She is unapologetically herself and not afraid of anyone or anything. This is the Courtney Love of parfumes. And I am absolutely IN LOVE and mesmerized.

Tuberose, Tuberose, and some green earthy thing. I took up the challenge to try this bottle out, and I think I am ok living without it. It's not that it's bad, just very challenging for a man to pull off IMO. I think the thing I cannot pin down is what the overpowering earthy green note is. It's just offensive and annoying on a whole new level. This is the only frag I have that I would be more than happy to part with - No International DMs please - it's too hard to ship overseas. I will let it go domestically, or you can buy a 1mil decant off me if you want to try it.

An Alchemical true potion. We ve rarely smelled something like this in perfumery. What an artistry! This is made to make us laugh. I can't help but grin , at this kind of playfulness mastery. Airy, almost medicinal. This smells like the color white. Insane to describe Slightly aseptic, surgical, incredible. Cold, icy in a way. The smell of void . Totally addictive. So so so much stronger then you think. It will annihilate any space where its sprayed ( to your surprise) and oh its there to stay. Do NOT SPRAY MORE THEN ONCE. The dry down 30 min later is where all conquers: your skin, your clothes, anyone you touch , you're trapped like an octopus took over. Genius. This stuff is nuts! I had no idea what to expect, heavy tuberose, musky and smokey and just a lot of florals running alongside a cocaine accord; I get lily, heavy jasmine, orchid, and some kind of menthol cigarette note in the opening. Reminiscent of a messy night out in the early two thousands--indie bands, and scene kids in a dimly-lit dive run wild amidst the drunken strobes of a poor DJ, a scratchy celebration of youth and the dead. Cocaïne is a hallucination of love at first sight before it vanishes into the smoke leaving the record skip of a ghost leaving the record skip of a ghost leaving the record skip of a ghost. This is a funeral and a wake, this is a sickly tequila french kiss with a girl dressed in her grandma's clothes, this is giggling, bizarre, and a must for any collector. God grant me the serenity, but fuck this brings me back to the--rare--highlights of a snippet of time--in /my/ life, /my/ youth, and the people I've loved at a glimpse whose names I cannot remember. 10/10. Love. Lust. Drugs. Life. Death. Raw. Beauty. I need a full bottle. Edit: I gave this to a friend to sample who almost threw up and immediately scrubbed it off her hand. Judging by this visceral reaction and other reviews, this is clearly marmite, I'm not sure I can own a bottle if I'm gonna be making folks throw up; some people see a white and gold dress. Others, blue and black. Sex Panther vibes right here. Fun. Still love it.

That blending of monoi, funeral lilies, and bitter orange at the opening really does smell like cocaine. And formaldehyde. There's a raw, gasoline quality to it. A tobacco note is present, but very much in the background. The "caramel" isn't sweet, rather a burnt butter accord. Cocaïne is more metallic than animalic; and I do not get berries, nor do I sense any recognizable patchouli. A very interesting, clinical take on a white floral. Do NOT blind buy! It is interesting and addictive, but not something I'd be in the mood for often. Full drydown is as someone stated below, a big, fat, ripe, fully opened bouquet of stargazer lilies!

Gonna be brutally honest, I do not like this AT ALL. Literally smells like poo.

God, that's it. I was totally surprised. Like a drug, it completely captivated me, as if I'd swallowed it and it had consumed me entirely. I've never smelled anything like it. It doesn't smell like an ingredient. It smells like someone, someone with extraordinary flair, elegance, mystique, boldness, and it has something magical, alluring, almost erotic about it. It's what some people want to embody, not everyone, but some. And not everyone can do that, but if you can, you're surrounded by a fascinating, intriguing, magical aura.

This is one of the most unique fragrances I've ever tested. It starts off very sweet, like a combination of tonka bean, cardamom and some other spices. That opening lasts for about 10-ish minutes before turning into this slightly sweet medical glove smell. Both phases are pretty and addictive, but the drydown more so. It's something you don't expect to like, let alone want to sniff all the time—but you do both.

They weren't lying, that opening really does smell like bad breath, and that isn't necessarily a problem for me. It reminds me of waking up right next to my boyfriend and smelling his morning breath, which is endearing but not very "wearable". Fortunately for me, Cocaïne dries down into something sugary sweet, but still quite indolic, after an hour. Indole haters should steer clear of this one, as I think you really have to enjoy indolic florals to like this. I do enjoy very indolic white florals, Lust being one of my favorites, and even I had to heavily layer this one just to feel comfortable leaving the house. Honestly, I don't think this is for me given it has pretty poor longevity and projection on my skin, so I can't pick out many of the notes other than tuberose, monoi oil, and caramel. But, I also think Cocaïne is an interesting curiosity in the art of perfumery, so I highly recommend at least getting a sample and seeing if it works for your skin chemistry.

god, i cannot do tuberose like this for the life of me. this and almafolia by giardini di toscana literally made me gag. it smells like the water in which flowers have been sitting until their stems decomposed from rot. literally. yucky

Other than being a colorful fragrance, there’s nothing really wrong with it. It may perform well in terms of longevity and sillage, but it’s definitely not a crowd-pleasing scent. The only clear note I could pick up was tuberose — mixed with monoi oil, it gave me that “sweaty grandmother” vibe. I don’t know… it fails for me. 2/10.

I, in fact LOVE the opening. Friend told me it is absolutely horrible. So I came here to read the reviews and I realized my nose is probably broken because I love it

I've got the sample of the old formulation and the bottle of the new formulation; yes, old one has smoother opening and the juice is very reddish orange, like it can stain your clothes; new one doesn't have orange and berries and the liquid is transparent, middle and base are the same; so after 10-15 minutes, they became indistinguishable, maybe the new one a bit stronger and sweeter. So I'm not bummed about my purchase. I like small-medium size fragrance houses, they have a soul and heart.
