I had been searching for this fragrance for a long time. I first tried it years ago and instantly fell in love with it, but for some reason I never ended up buying it. I finally managed to get hold of a tester of this iconic blue-bottle version, and even the beautiful cognac-colored juice gives you the feeling that you're about to experience something truly special. The quality of the fragrance is simply outstanding. You can tell that Guerlain poured all of its expertise and passion into this creation, holding nothing back. It is rich, sophisticated, beautifully constructed, and incredibly addictive. Although undeniably sweet, it never feels cloying or juvenile. Instead, it remains elegant, refined, and perfectly balanced from start to finish. On top of that, the projection is incredible and the longevity is exceptional. This is the kind of perfume that leaves a memorable trail wherever you go and lasts for hours without losing its beautiful character. It isn't a shy fragrance—it makes its presence known and naturally draws people's attention. In my experience, it's one of those rare perfumes that earns compliments with remarkable ease. Some perfumes simply smell good, while others make you feel something. Every time I wear this one, I can't help but smile. There's something about it that fills me with energy, optimism, and a genuine sense of well-being, as if it makes it easier to see the bright side of life for a few hours. Very few fragrances have that kind of emotional impact on me. It's a real shame that this masterpiece was reformulated and replaced by the current pink-bottle version. While the newer release is still a good perfume in its own right, it simply doesn't belong in the same league. The blue-bottle La Petite Robe Noire Intense was, without a doubt, the crown jewel of the entire La Petite Robe Noire line and one of Guerlain's finest creations.

I have this beauty in my collection for quite a while, the older blue bottle, got it about 6 years ago... Yes, it is very sweet, but I love everything about it! Once that cotton candy moves to the background, what stays is a juicy uplifting but still very elegant smell. The reason I came here is because I wanted to see if there was any complaints around reformulation. My bottle is about 60% down, I wanted to go and see if it was still the same, now that the bottle has changed... And unfortunately... I think my fear has been confirmed, went out to test the new bottle today and yes the essence is still there... but I feel this was watered down like 2-3 notches... I love Guerlain in general and I really hope I just got a spray out of an old bottle, but... I think I will use whatever there is left in my current bottle sparingly...

i’m gonna start with a general complaint… i want to beat everyone who calls every perfume with a fruit note “gourmand” or “super sweet". there i said it 95% of the reviews i read were full of things like “so sweet/sugary” “so feminine” “juvenile” what. if so can someone please explain why the opening smells exactly like aftershave lotion -there's lots of different versions, sure but if there was a fruity one- and before anyone brings up “everyone’s skin chemistry and taste are different” i get the exact same thing on clothes too, also i’m convinced some people’s noses are just broken. again... imagine an invasive&sour blueberry opening followed by this weird heavy patchouli. the dress on the bottle tricks you into expecting something sweet and girly but this is even kind of masculine, regardless of it being seen as a night scent. if you’re looking to feel elegant and ladylike don’t let this one fool you PLS this thing makes me itchy just from smelling it.

Soooooo sweeeet but elegant and not juvenile. Works great in winter and I need to wear it more and give it more chance

Every time I wear this blue bottle beauty, I want to cry because it was reformulated. I have a travel size of it and a full bottle of the reformulation and while I love the full bottle, it's just not as beautiful as the 2016 Thierry Wasser formulation.

Very strong and loud but elegant. Years ago took a sample with me when visiting Paris in autumn and I loved it. Later, my sister got me a bottle as a christmas gift so I used to wear this often on winters. Very sweet, blueberry, florals and intense patchouli. I've tried the new LPRB Intense and it seemed a bit less sweet but still a good perfume to wear on occasion.

This one is a bit too sweet for me. I like it in the air though, upclose it’s way too strong. I know I won’t be wearing it, I much prefer the Couture or the Velours and wear those note often. I’m selling my 100ml, pm me if you’re interested, EU only 🌹

I blind bought this about 4 years ago(my fault for doing that) and not worn it more then once since, I can’t believe how people can call this powdery or anything of sort to me its such a strong scent one sprey fills my entire home with that scent and it wont go away for HOURS i genuinely get a headache just from smelling it a little and I don’t know what to do with the bottle it looks too pretty to sell and smells too much for me to ever wear😭

Анонім★★★★★

Powdery, sweet, cotton candy. It's really a good perfume for summer.

Анонім★★★★★

I never ever wear my bottle of this. Would be willing to trade for even partial bottles of something different or even a decant of something if it was something I really wanted to smell. My 1.7 oz is basically full.

Ever single time that I wear this, I get compliments, even if I do not smell myself, people smell it and have to compliment me on that. Definitely blue bottle is better choice than the current new version of intense flanker, I'm sure about it. I got 3 other backup bottle from blue version just to be safe that I have enough, although never will be, since I like to over spray😅🤭 I definitely became a Hunter of second hand LPRN Noir Intense Blue 💙 bottle. I seek to the offers on second hand sells all time. Now I'm wearing my current bottle which must have 5ml more one wear and is done and I have 5 bottles of 50 ml and I'm still searching it. 🫣

Wonderful example of perfumery. Why is it gone? The new version is popularized and lacks identity (but I already have a review on that). If you're not a fan of gourmands, you're gonna hate it, but if you like sweet scents or don't mind them, I think this is perfect. It smells like an alluring girl who wears dark dresses and black eye makeup, yet she's not assertive or independent, she wants a strong leader and to be taken care of. It kind of has similar vibes to la Nuit Trésor for me, it's classy, dark mysterious, but also syrupy and sweet. The blueberry is the dominant note, but I picked it up for the cotton candy. Kinda smells like blueberries have been melted into a pot of cotton candy sugar, but not burnt. This is totally a personal thing, but it carries the same vibe as Crystal Castles for some reason. Great silage! Really strong, not quite This is Her or La Nuit Trésor, but it's up there. I was pleasantly surprised about how long it lasts. Roughly 3 days later you'll still get whiffs of it on your hair, but I'd reapply at least every 12 hours regardless for silage.

This is way too fruity and sweet, it made me nauseous. It gave me the same reaction as "Mon Paris". And the patchouli doesn't smell good in this blend. Had to wash it off immediately! 4/10

Анонім★★★★★

It's sugar and flowers... the musk makes a nice blend. But it's really not my type of perfume. To sweet... not tooth acky but not for me. Would suit a young girl I think.

I love the Intense version of LPR! I loved it at first spray, the blueberry, raspberry, bergamot, rose, vanilla and musk really suit my skin. There is no unpleasant opening. I don’t get the cotton candy, sadly or the patchouli, luckily. This is my favorite flanker followed by the Absolu. The original and others go really sour on my skin and can smell pretty medicinal. I haven’t smelled all of them, though because there’s a lot! This isn’t complex or groundbreaking, but it’s nice, familiar and child like. Kind of reminds me of Escada Show Me Love. Definitely candy and toy like.

I blind bought this a few years ago because everyone and their mother were talking about this blueberry cotton candy fragrance. Well, that's not what I get from this at all. While I do get the blueberry candy vibe in the opening it quickly turns on my skin into something that reminds me of mold. If that wasn't bad enough, LPRN Intense is also a patchouli bomb and if I had known that I never would have bought it. I hate patchouli with a passion and five seconds after you spray this it punches you in the face with a thick, headache inducing wall of patchouli. This is almost as patchouli heavy as Coco Mademoiselle, and that's saying a lot... Don't expect blueberry cotton candy from this, but if you love patchouli this is for you. It's a huge pass for me. 1/10.

I can't express in words how much i love this perfume, it's very emotional to me, it was my highschool perfume, i was the only one wearing this perfume, and it suited me a lot, it's sweet, but not too sweet, its woody-like, but not too much, it's so perfect to me, reminds me of 00s perfumes, i really love this perfume, and I'm so sad that guerlain discontinued.

Анонім★★★★★

i’ve owned this perfume for over 5 years & probably only have a few wears left but i still can’t decide if i like this or not. my mom likes it a lot

Анонім★★★★★

I think this is a scent I am going to have to test in all weather and for all occasions to find out if I like it. I love the sweet fruit in the opening, but once that settles I feel a little overwhelmed by the patchouli. I either love it or hate it. I know that makes no sense but there is something I truly enjoy in it. It’s just getting past the patchouli. And in the end, I may not be able to do that.

Анонім★★★★★

This smells exactly like the blue "Pink Sugar". Cotton candy and blueberry.

Анонім★★★★★

This blue bottled LPRN Intense is sweeter and deeper than the red bottled LPRN Intense on first spray. It’s also a lot stronger. Super sweet candy and then I get deep blueberry syrup. Patchouli is there, but it brings a woodiness and brightness to the sweet blueberry, the new formulation in the red bottle is a little more patchouli forward to begin. It also smells more medicinal, not as deep and fruity. As they dry down though they definitely become like sisters rather than cousins. The DNA is there though, they are very similar. If you like this one you’ll like the other and vice versa. There’s no denying though that LPRN Intense (blue) is superior.

Анонім★★★★★

I have a basically full bottle of this for sale. It was a blind buy before i realized patchouli wasnt for me.

Анонім★★★★★

This is mysterious &beautiful!!!

Анонім★★★★★

This opens with a cotton candy BLAST! Seriously; like an explosion. That quiets down pretty quickly into a sweet powdery floral—more precisely a sweet blueberry powdery floral. The blueberry note sets it apart from similar fragrances, and as the powdery notes lessen about 15 minutes in, it becomes very compelling for me (as a person who doesn’t love powdery florals).

Анонім★★★★★

Over the years I've learned patchouli just isn't for me. I way prefer LVEB to this and typically I'm a Guerlain fan and not a huge huge lancome fan. This isn't sweet candy blueberry to me. It's vague fruity floral with patchouli. It's also very cold and the patchouli is minty to me. Just all around makes me a little neasous. Willing to trade or sell my bottle.

This was my favorite perfume for a while. I do rotate. Sweet, strong, elegant, beautiful. I love this so much. This doesn't smell like flowerbomb, Vikto&Rolf's Flowerbomb is an elegant bouquet of flowers with some sweetness and somewhat stuck in an age range sadly. This also does not smell like Lancome's La Vie Est Belle. I have that and yes, they're both sweet, so if you like sweet scents, that's the commonality for them both. This is different on it's own. I have been seeking of a similar scent to this since this has been reformulated and reproduced in a different bottle. This is my favorite on the Guerlain - La Petite Robe Noire like. I wish they will bring this back in this formulation. If anyone can suggest an arabian fragrance that smells like this is 99% similar, do let me know.

I pick up mostly Blueberry cotton candy & I am here for it! This is the only Flanker I have, I'm not the biggest cherry fan, most are cough syrupy to me. Blueberry is perfect. Love it!

Анонім★★★★★

*cries in LVEB-hater*

Анонім★★★★★

I barely get the blueberry and cotton candy and get more of the jasmine and orange blossoms which is super a bummer. I love the Eau Fraiche and the original EDP because I get the cherry and nutty notes . Kind of annoying I get just sweet florals out of this one

Анонім★★★★★

Wow, super weird. I see LVEB in “smells like” but no votes for Flowerbomb or Flowerbomb Dew which I think this smells even more like. I’ve had 8mL decants of all from fragrance.com for a long while. They’re all in brushed silver atomizer cases. So when I sprayed this LPRNI to smell it for the first time in a long time, I was puzzled and thought I accidentally sprayed Flowerbomb Dew. Checked the labels and nope, I sure sprayed LPRNI. But upon sniffing all 3, you would think they are all related for sure! Now that I’m paying extra attention, it is closer to the regular Flowerbomb. But I as well as a ton of other people feel it smells pretty close to LVEB, so that makes sense. LPRNI is a touch candy-sweeter than Flowerbomb, but in the air, I think any Flowerbomb fan would think that’s what you’re wearing. P.S. If anyone wants a 100% spot-on Flowerbomb dupe, Dossier’s Gourmand White Flowers is it. If you’re not into dupe bottles, then pick up LPRNI and see how it wears on you. It is chilly weather here and it actually goes well. Not all heavy and stifling like the usual cherry-almond-licorice-patchouli LPRN DNA.
