Musk Therapy

People talk and dogs bark :) This is a high-quality fragrance regardless of what people say; it is well-blended and smells lovely and clean. It reall works on my skin, especially in the summer. Please don't just read the reviews, try it for yourself. An incredibly beautiful, sophisticated scent that lasts a long time, but be careful not to overspray, as it can cause nausea. There is a really offensive top note I cannot quite place that jumps out at me when on my skin. It’s very aggressive and overpowering. The dry down is a different story. The musk really comes out, resulting in a warm, wearable fragrance. There is a touch of an almost clinical soapy scent to me, which catches me off guard, but is interesting and not enough to put me off. The opening however, is. For the price point, it doesn’t stand out in a market full of musk perfumes and that sharp opening note makes it unwearable on me until a few hours have passed.

The sandalwood in this turns into a pickle scent on my skin. Not sure if it’s a body chemistry thing, I don’t want to blame the fragrance (I know sometimes sandalwood can do this). Unfortunately it overpowers the other notes and it’s all I can smell. I chose to review because this is definitely not blind buy safe, no matter how glowing all of the other reviews are. That said, I think it can be beautiful if it works with your skin. Try before you buy, especially with the price.

I bought this amazing fragrance as a gift for my wife, and honestly, it might be the best women’s fragrance I’ve ever smelled. It’s incredibly versatile and works beautifully in any situation. Most importantly, it smells like a real perfume, not just another musky body lotion. It has an ultra 3D feel with a rich depth and the weight of high quality oils, far from the synthetic musks we’re so used to. Even the citrus notes feel smooth, rich, and incredibly natural. I can’t recommend it enough. 100/10. Wow.

A creamy musk fragrance with a hint of citrus and a touch of green. But it’s not as creamy as Parisian Musc. The sillage and longevity aren’t bad. It smells very nice, but it won’t be a musk fragrance I’ll be adding to my collection.

It's okay, but I really don't get the hype. Honestly I don't think it deserves it - not the scent nor the longevity! It's a simple composition and honestly reminds me a little bit of bathroom airy scent - any cheaper musk would give the same vibe. Again I'm shocked that people are hyping this up, even the silliage and longevity is poor for the value. If it wasn't so expensive, I don't think I'd mind it that much. Luckily I was able to try this before hand, and I really do think I'd recommend everybody to do that.

Sweetened musk that's smooth, well rounded and nicely put together. Cleanly and quietly it sits with you all day, it creates a scent bubble just for you and probably no one else will notice it. This would work really well as a layered base to something woody, but it's easy to appreciate on its own too. 6/10

Initio Musk Therapy is such a beautiful, clean scent that feels like a luxurious, calming spa in a bottle. It is incredibly smooth and mass-pleasing, wrapping you in a gorgeous, creamy blend of white musk and citrus. My only critique is that for this price tag, it is very linear and quickly turns into a soft skin scent.

Comforting and balanced white mum. Easy to wear. Provided decent performance. I enjoyed wearing it and can see it being an easy reach if I had a full bottle.

Uplifting comforting smooth citrusy & berry-like opening, eventually dries down to a serene clean creamy woody musk, definitely try on skin though because it works on me but on my friend the drydown smells slightly off

definitely a compliment getter!!!! smells like white, fluffy, soft musk clouds on my skin... soooo dreamy and sensual. However, even though it is long-lasting, it is a perfume that sits close to the skin

I wanted to like this so much and it has alot of good in it but t he lactate/milk in it reminds me of a milkproduct that went bad. I still like this but would not buy it for retail price.

Nothing special. A clean musk. That's about it. You'll have to give me way more for that price.

I can’t believe how much love this fragrance gets. It’s too basic for $200+. Basic can be good, not at that price range. Sampling required, Initio has so many other better fragrances to offer. Creators will always glaze this for no reason. For $140 you can get something similar, Madurai by memo Paris.

First time I smelled this, I thought it was so fresh and citrusy, perfect for spring and during colder summer days. Then I tried it again and me and my friend kinda thought the same thing.. it smells like curry lol. I was so thrown of that I had to smell it at another store and then I finally got the smell I loved. But in general I think this is a nice scent, it's fresh without being too artificial cleaning supplies type of smell :D

Finally bought the fragrance (alhamdullilah) and had it for a week. Initially, I'd spray it and imediately get the top notes of citrus/florals, and then it's slowly transition to the creamiest musk you can ever think of (think of almost like a buttery smell mixed with florals and a subtle sandalwood). However, after around a week or so of having this, the initial spray has just smelled like rubbing alcohol - even stronger than Nautica Voyage or YSL Y or Liquid Brun. It smells sour and bitter and burns my nostrils. If I let it sit for around 20-30 minutes, it becomes the same creamy skin scent we know and love, but it lasts around 4 hours. Would've said this would be perfect for everything. But after using it for a while, I think it's best for date-nights, or times to cuddle, especially in the summer. I've had no one ever say it's bad - all female friends I have ADORE this scent, and most male friends enjoy this too. 9/10 (-1 for opening and versatility)

I never write reviews, but I have to for this fragrance. It’s such a beautiful blend of citrus and musk, making it smell like freshly dried laundry that's really pleasant to the nose. I've yet to get a compliment on this as I got it 2 days ago, but my mum likes it which says enough. If you have the money to blind buy, I strongly recommend it, you won't regret it. 2nd best Initio fragrance behind Atomic Rose. Also lasts around 8+ ish hours on my skin

I'm rewriting my review because when I first smelt 'Musk Therapy' I wasn't in love, it smelt like woody Clorox wipes to me, i'm sorry. BUT when I came back to my sample I really like it! It smells like creamy blonde sandalwood with citrus, it's very clean and fresh smelling and gets 6+ hours of longevity. I got a compliment from my little 13yo brother who usually never compliments me so I know it's good! Now to be honest I wouldn't buy a bottle because the price is insane and it's hard to find on discounters, but I will happily enjoy my 5ml decant and may order a 10ml down the line...🤭😩

Layer this with the Musk therapy body cream and thank me later. Good part is you will use less fragrance

One of my favorite scents that I've smelled. Very subtle and easy to wear. My only problem is that I don't love the opening but the dry down is very nice. Smells like fresh clothes, good longevity so far (been on for 8 hours and still smells pretty strong)

beautiful scent profile, smells like a mix of crushed berries with a high-quality musk thrown in. smells a bit overly creamy and heavy in my opinion, not sure if i would want to wear this for the summer months, it could get a little too much wearing this outside under the scorching sun. i think it would be killer if there was an edt version of musk therapy, but i know initio does not do that.

Uplifting and happy. Calm and clean. Round and well balanced but not overcomplicated composition with well mixed gently citrusy and fruity opening followed by a clean quality musk. The white flower notes are there all along the way. Very likeable quality daytime scent. Smell 9.5/10 Style 8.5/10 Vibe you get 9.5/10 Creativity, uniqueness 9/10 Technical aspect 10/10 Longevity 8/10 Price 6.5/10 Overall impression 9/10

This gives me the image of fresh shirts just came back from dry cleaners. Nice and pleasant. Then it moves on to clean musk. I like it, but i did not feel the special something to make this stand out, especially at this price point.

Only 5 years old, but still one of the OGs. Easiest grab if you don’t know what to wear. I love it for that reason alone. Best white musk imo. Fresh, soft and clean. I have never met anyone who has disliked it. So safe, and a real compliment getter. Underrated, I feel it deserves to lay in the 4.30 range, maybe even 4.40. However it is perhaps a bit too boring to be that high. Perfected this DNA though, and still absolutely worth it in 2026!
