Just amazing this has become my favorite scent of all time. Pure powdery plum goodness just give this a chance it’s amazing. Lataffa vintage radio captures this so well. 10/10

weirdly unique too me and I've never smelled plum so clearly

Dont understand why ppl say this is woody

8.8/10 It's lovely and I've never smelled plum so clearly in a fragrance before, however the opening, which is so juicy and beautiful, fades away way to quick; you're left with a sweet sandalwood, I don't get any oud. It's really nice, but I don't picture myself leaping for a full bottle of this.

as someone who doesn't like fruity fragrances, this is actually really nice it starts with the juiciest plum you've ever smelled, and in the dry down the plum takes the backseat and there's a woody/lightly smoked scent to come forward, which I assume is the palo santo, though I've never smelled it irl honestly quite nice and calming, and out of curiosity, I layered this with paimon from fantome and the maydi frankincense and myrrh add even more depth, I smell like a rich milf on a self care day wrapped in a fluffy white robe

I'm smitten by this fragrance. It's perfectly unisex to me, it smells..fresh, clean, with a slight hint of fruitiness that gives it a gentle sweetness. It smells, to me, like what heaven would smell like. Quite literally, what heaven would smell like. It's divine, and I can't help but glaze it, because that's how good it smells to me. It smells like someone wearing a beautiful white linen button up shirt, with the first two or three buttons opened up from the top, and some sandy khaki's that fit gently on his body, or if it were a women, a beautiful white linen sundress. It's care free, it's gentle, it's angelic, and ethereal and provides an aura around you that you can't help but want to keep sniffing. This is a perfect signature, all year, all day, and it has great longevity. Projection is moderate and provides a sort of "aura" around you. I like to layer it with Musk Therapy to make it smell even better, and they compliment each other so well, but it's not absolutely necessary. 10/10, I will always have a bottle of this on deck.

great fit for warm weather. the smells brings me peace as it reminds me of some religious rituals used to protect one from bad energies. would have liked it more if it was less peppery though.

Aromatic herbs and woods with a touch of fruity sweetness.

I blind bought this based on the notes and love it gets…well, I’m not a fan. Paragon smells almost exactly like playdoh or a box of crayons to me. Something about this composition is very waxy and artificial smelling. If I want “therapeutic and calming woodiness” I’ll reach for Tam Dao EDP or Santal Volcanique, not whatever is going on here. This is neither therapeutic nor woody - unless you find your childhood memories of coloring therapeutic. I got this last fall, and didn’t like it then because of the crayola smell, and I revisited it tonight and still get the same aroma. I’m a collector with 150 bottles across fragrance genres and time periods, and I’ve avoided Initio because every time I’ve sampled them at a department store, they’ve smelt unrefined, unfinished, and for a younger audience. This is my fault for blind buying a bottle and going against my impressions of this house. 4.1/10. I’ll be offloading this during my decluttering in the fall.

You're a 13 year-old teenage girl. You walk into Lush and beg your mom to let you get a pink glitter bath bomb. This is what it smells like. Paragon smells good. After a few minutes of wear, I realized it reminded me of something. Candy? Smarties? But THEN I saw it retails for $430 and I laughed out loud. This is something I would have loved to wear when I was 13. It smells the way your skin does after taking a bath with a $7 Lush bath bomb.

This is the fragrance that started it all for me. Paragon was given to me by someone who, at one point in my life, meant a lot to me. Because of that, I think this scent will always carry something personal with it. But even without the memory attached, this is still one of the most beautiful and wearable fragrances I have ever smelled. The opening is smooth, clean and quietly aromatic. I get a soft herbal freshness from the lavender and sage, but it never feels medicinal or too green. There is a gentle sweetness underneath it all, not fruity to my nose, but enough to make the fragrance feel rounded and calm. When it dries down on my skin, Paragon becomes warmer and more woody. It has this calm, almost meditative quality to it, while still being incredibly easy to wear. The pepper gives it just enough edge so it does not become too boring. One of the things I appreciate most about Paragon is how flexible it is. It has become one of those fragrances I reach for when I do not want to overthink it. It works in most situations without feeling boring or generic, and it has enough character to still feel special. For me, it is a reliable easy grab that always makes me feel a little more put together. It is not loud in an obnoxious way, but it has a presence. On my skin it stays balanced throughout the wear, fresh and aromatic in the beginning, then softer, woodier and more comforting as the hours pass. That can also be its drawback, because at times it almost feels like multiple scents in one. Paragon is calming, elegant, sensual and addictive. It feels like a signature scent without being boring. For me, it is not just a perfume I like, it is the perfume that made me fall properly into this hobby, from a sample that was given to me with a lot of love. A true favourite, and probably one I will always want in my collection.

This is the first of 2 scents I tried of this house and I think I'm done lol. It smells like black pepper and pencil shavings. On the dry down you smell a little creamyness but the name is spot on. Just weird and unique. One of the only colognes I got that I had someone tell me they did not like it which I don't really care but since I didn't like it either I figured I mention that.

My third Initio and by far the best fit for Texas weather so far! Musky, powdery, and plummy, even tho its not officially listed as an ingredient. Idk what Palo santo smells like solo, but if its the "unknown" xfactor here, i welcome it! This smells like money. not in a loud obnoxious, fills the room as soon as you enter kind of way. Its more of a "your precence will be felt" via the scent trail it leaves behind. Lasts a solid work day on skin and can clearly smell on clothes until you wash them.

To me this reads as damp palo santo and something fruity but smokable. almost like a plumb flavored shisha. In the dry down the dampness subsides and I get more of the black pepper and sandalwood and it settles down very inoffensive and a bit mature(in the best ways, that’s to say; if you’re 25 and under this probably wouldn’t call to you). Very interesting and on the right person I think it would shine in the fall nights or even winter all day.. Not a fragrance I see myself wearing regularly or purchasing a full bottle of (I think the initial plum/shisha-esque opening evokes too many bittersweet memories for me) but it IS beautifully unisex. I’m shocked at the bottle color being white, this seems like it would suit dark purple or black. This is very grounding and I would enjoy this on a woman or a man. I imagine someone in a casino or a person who frequents an eau so secret highscale but not yet unapproachable bourbon lounge to wear this quite comfortably. Someone artistic, weathered, who seeks comforts and values a “routine” with a bit of spontaneity and is comfortable with both sides of masculine and feminine energy.. I’m glad I have a sample and will enjoy it for when those situations arise. As with most initio fragrances this preforms tremendously and is forever transforming on your skin. You must try on your skin to truly enjoy it as on paper it is very intimidating.

I get plenty of fruity ripe plum.. along with vanillic/ woody/ peppery undertones

Smells like dough

Love it! I didn't detect any plum but that is not a problem at all. Everything done just right and balance. The scent is so calm, soothing, and so uplifting. It last 8-10 hours on my skin and leave very nice scent trail all the way. I never liked this house but Paragon is my first (It is that good). EDIT: This performs better over time, so let it sit!

Zero reason buying that when Vintage Radio does it better and cheaper. I have a sample of this one and a full bottle of VR, the lack of sweet sharpiness on Paragon is annoying. Lattafa did a better blend on VR, I am sorry.

Анонім

There is no plum. MAIN NOTES Bergamot, White Sage, Lavender, Palo Santo, Black Pepper, Sandalwood, Agarwood.

Really nice but unwearable.

Some of these reviewers wouldn't know synthetic if it slapped them in the face. Paragon is a great scent, long lasting, and if you're a compliment chaser - this will get the job done. Easy to pull off year round.

Couldn't agree more with @Knowingnose- they said everything I'm feeling. The fragrance is heavy, sweet, and cloying. Some of Initio's fragrances have an immensely synthetic feel, and Paragon is one of them. Just look at the notes and imagine these things in real life- there should be almost nothing dense about them. I was expecting it to be endlessly more airy and fresh, with the plum only adding a tad bit of juiciness and sweetness. Apparently, a sticky sweetness is mostly what this fragrance has to offer, and I'm quite disappointed and shocked considering the price point and the rating. Although I somewhat get the appeal, especially for the male audience, those people should definitely consider trying out different houses and escaping the synthetic samsara.

Ahh I really like it. Initio is a great house and you kind find testers of this for around designer market price. So what does it smell like? I get fruity plum, black pepper, and smoky woods. Unisex with about 60-65% leaning masculine. Moderate and THERE projection. This also to my nose feels like a fruity woody musk therapy by the same house. It’s cool, unique, and somewhat avant garde. Kinda reminds me of something on the angelic side.

This is in my top 5 perfume right now. It does everything. Its so calming. There is nothing about it I don't like. I love everything about it. Such a calming and relaxing scent but very nice at the same time. I would give it 8. It lasts all day on my skin. I still don't know how people can judge their own projects and sillage but this is very nice.

I cannot believe the high reviews for this one. This really is some synthetic garbage. (I'm okay with synthetic ingredients just not like this.) This has "cab driver trying to hide a bad smell" vibes. Identical to the headache inducing, over-perfumed Uber I took to the airport two days ago. Sweet and heavy, not in a good way. The palo Santo here is pretty trash. Good (and real) palo Santo is airy. This is super dense, which makes the fragrance feel cloying. There's also a weird sharp chemical smell that I cannot for the life of me pinpoint to an ingredient. The distant scent trail smells "okay" but don't let anyone get close. People really should get off the "beast mode performance" hype train. This thing has great longevity and projection, but so do my farts. Reviewers below should contact me, I've got an incredible product for you for the low low price of 430 bucks.

Blind bought bc with the notes, ratings, and reviews I thought it would be right up my alley. But turns out to be a big disappointment. Very synthetic fruit from the jump. Very off putting. Gave it a month and tried again. Same. I’ll never wear this. An expensive miss. Shocked this is rated so highly.

Curiosity got the best of me after I purchased Lattafa "Vintage Radio," supposedly a clone of Initio "Paragon." I decided to purchase a sizable sample of Paragon and test the two perfumes, side-by-side. It's boredom. Full disclosure: Paragon is not the type of perfume I customarily wear. I'm not at all into "green freshie" scents, which is how I'd immediately categorize Paragon. Paragon is herbal with lavender, sage, some plum (I suppose). Not sure where the Palo Santo, sandalwood, or oud fit in. To me there is nothing outstanding, or remarkable about Paragon. In some ways, the perfume reminds me of that old green and white deodorant soap "Irish Spring." Remember that?

Absolute perfection. I was completely stunned the first time I sprayed Paragon. This isn’t just a fragrance; it’s an experience. The opening bursts with this gorgeous, slightly sweet plum, but it’s the white sage and Palo Santo that steal the show. It smells meditative, spiritual, and deeply calming, yet incredibly sexy and luxurious at the same time. The woods are perfectly blended a bit creamy, smooth, and never harsh. It surrounds you in this beautiful, uplifting scent bubble all day. A true 10/10 masterpiece from Initio that definitely make you wanna wear again and again just to experience it. Regarding longevity is a beast to my skin , I get 10 hours easily with a moderate projection as I like on a perfume. I wear it 3 days now and I have got a tone of compliments too. Note: As I always say please smell a perfume before you buy it , I don’t recommend anything to anyone I’m just stating my personal opinion.
