Yara Tous

Not understanding the hate…? This is a great scent that smells like what it claims to be. My daughter tells me I smell “ delicious “. When I wear this and I’ve had a coworker follow me asking what it was so she could get it because according to her I smelled “delicious “. I get compliments literally every time I wear this from someone somewhere so how bad can it be! I have a large collection at about 200+ fragrances and this has been in heavy rotation the past few months. I did open it late Winter and stashed it away to let it do its thing until Spring and so far no regrets. A good and reliable daily driver with good performance that’s not at all ordinary. I’m already planning on getting a backup bottle.

i love a good mango scent and i really was trying to give this one a good chance but i had to give it away. the passion fruit note makes this smell like mango deodorant with baby powder as dusting powder and ur BO is starting to come through. one of the few perfumes i’ve had a visceral reaction to. if you are sensitive to passion fruit notes turning armpit like , avoid this one.

I like this one, but it fades out in a few hours on its own. Layered with Petra & now we are talking, perfect summer combo. 😘

I agree with another comment below. This has only gotten good after 2 years of seating on a shelf collecting dust. It's so delicious and fruity now! It was screechy when I first got it 2 years ago, and I had planned on gifting it but never got around to it. Decided to try it again, and I'm now in love.

I like this now, very fruit-punchy. However be warned: it took nearly 2 years to smell good. The synthetic, chemical quality was so bad at first I almost got rid of it. Glad I put it away and came back much later before passing it along.

i bought this while looking for an affordable alternative to alien goddess, but it only smells very similar during the first five minutes of the opening. after that, it turns into a sweet tropical fruity scent. (i haven’t tried fame, so i can’t compare them.) the projection is quite soft, but the longevity is impressive. if you enjoy this type of fragrance, i think it’s a lovely sweet tropical scent and a great affordable option. edit: i was wrong, the projection is strong.

I don’t understand all the positive reviews on this unless I have just had bad luck and bought two very bad batches in a span of a year and half. I don’t smell any fruits just a terrible smell I can’t even explain but chemically like harsh cleaning products. I threw the first one in the bin after buying on eBay I thought maybe I had purchased a bad knock off, tte. I bought another after reading all the reviews, from a reputable store I frequent. It was exactly the same. So awful I gave that one away but I don’t think the person I gave it to is having any better luck with it with lots of maceration. Sorry I can’t give a positive response to this one.

Yeah, the tropical notes fade very quickly. Drydown is very creamy, slightly powdery on me. It's a really interesting vibe! Probably my favorite Yara 🧡🥭

Sprayed this on paper and on skin in the store. Initially it smells like a mango smoothie, then the dry down becomes harsh and nauseating and finally it smells like a basic men's cologne on me Edit: I took a shower and can still smell it on my skin. Lasts long

I love Alien Goddess but I am being cheap and I do not wanna pay that price, so I bought this. Same scent family. Very beachy, summery to me. I love mango and coconut for summer. Will be layering this with my Vulcan Fue, which is very mango heavy. I see some comments of people saying it smells "cheap", I mean it kinda does because it is. You get what you pay for, but for the price I still think this is great value.

Smells like a cheap mens cologne. I don't get any of the tropical aroma, a deep spiciness. I feel like the jasmine and spiciness clash which makes it smell sort of meh.

This is so good. ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ The first thing that came to mind was Alien Goddess and Olympéa Solar, two of my favorite fragrances. They don't smell the same, but they give me the same warm, sunny feeling. I get mango and coconut at first, but to me this isn't really a tropical fragrance. As it settles, the jasmine becomes more noticeable and gives it a soft, solar feel. Even though "solar" isn't listed in the notes, that's exactly how it smells to me. I also get a soft, cashmere-like feeling in the background. It's warm, feminine and really easy to wear. Love it! ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡

Was excited to try a mango forward perfume since perfumes like Bombay Bling are not available where I live. I did not enjoy this perfume. It started off with vanilla-ish passionfruit and I kept smelling that spicy note which almost all middle eastern perfumes have. As it dried down, it was just more spicy and musky, no fruit whatsoever. After about an hour and a half I couldn't stand the spicy smell and washed it off my skin. Edit - I felt this is okay on a guy too. The strong spiciness makes it unisex, maybe even male leaning for me.

Juicy fruity tropical opening very smooth, loud sweet. Attractive so far but the later drydown becomes too screechy sour like the OG Yara and equally reminiscent of that obnoxious to me sweet-sour, waxy league due to the heliotrope in most of them paired with sour notes like ambroxan, including Pepe Jeans for her, Amo Ferragamo and Zara Cocoa Sunset. Here it's the passionfruit adding the ambroxan- like sourness along with the waxy heliotrope and musk. Zara Cocoa Sunset which is even more sour and obnoxious has passionfruit too. If a coworker wears any of these (not Yara Tous), I suffer. Yara Tous isn't as obnoxious but I honestly dread that aforementioned league. Amo is the most tolerable and then this one.

Best of the Yaras, by far. It's juicy, mango-forward but supported by coconut and passionfruit. Heliotrope is doing a lot of work to keep the fruit and vanilla in balance, while the jasmine and orange blossom keep this scent bright and fresh - which I appreciate since Lattafa perfumes can tend towards being really heavy at first. Settles into being a fruity, soapy scent as time goes on, which I enjoy a lot.

This smells beautiful in me! Very cream, the opening is mango and is by far one of the most complimented ones in my shelves, creamy mango coco, a litlle bit a white flower which is jasmine, well balanced, very pretty for the summer but for winter even more, it's very sweet, I think it goes to the limit btw gourmand and fruity floral, it would be a flormand*

Blind bought and couldn't stand this fragrance at all tbh...let it macerate and nothing changed. Smells cheap and synthetic. I do pick up on florals , a very synthetic mango note, coconut slightly during opening, and definitely musk. I keep trying it and used a coconut hibiscus body oil today to moisturize out of the shower and actually like the scent. The layer helped it out a lot. With unscented lotion I can't stand it haha

- Somewhat soapy, yellow florals in opening. - Getting soapier with the dry-down... - Huge bummer for me; I got a decant due to the tropical, fruity, coconut-y notes, and I get absolutely none of that from this. - Low-moderate projection. - Not my thing, and doesn't smell particularly expensive, but I could see people wanting a soapier clean-girl smell really enjoying this for an everyday perfume! It's soapy but still smells like a fragrance, if that makes sense. - Really would not recommend blind-buying.

I really wanted to buy this yara fragrance, owning the original one, but it’s such a disappointment for me. it smells like the original yara plus synthetic mango and cucumber scent. it gives me a headache every time I wear it, so on hot days this perfume is k1ll1ng me. I hope it’ll get better after maceration…

So I bought this thinking this was the dupe for Paco Rabanne Fame and honestly this isn’t for me at all. It is a sweet fragrance but the notes are all off. Like they’re not balanced nor syncing well together at all. I read someone’s review where they noted that this smells off laundry detergent and that is the best description.

This one is okay. It’s just a typical, tropical scent. A bit reminiscent of Alien Goddess but definitely not a dupe. For the price it’s fine. I gave my bottle to my tween daughter who absolutely love it.

it smells like mango creamy milkshake

This is NOT sweet. It’s a summer scent but definitely not sweet. I can only smell the mango if I smell directly from the bottle and it’s not a sweet mango and I almost can’t even sense it, I can smell the passion fruit, no coconut at all :( it’s more of a floral tropical scent, I guess it works for layering with sweeter scents and make it less sweet and a bit more fresh and elegant

This smells like laundry detergent and some kind of cheap “tropical” candy. I wanted to love it, but I’m still on the hunt for a non suntan lotion coconut perfume.

I bought this in July 2024 , I absolutely hated it, I gave it to my daughter. A year later she gave it back bcuz she didn't like it either. It's been sitting on my dresser in the back of my collection ever since. Tonight I decided to spray it and see where it was at scent wise. It's been almost 2 years and I can honestly say.... It's actually really pretty smelling now. The old lady powdery scent is completely gone. It's fruity and fresh, smells clean and not offensive. I'll definitely add it to my summer rotation now. I still don't think I would recommend it to anybody unless they want to wait 2 years to wear it lol

Regrettably I don't get anything on initial spray. This was the last of the Yara line I purchased, and to be honest I purchased it just to complete the set. The mango was turning me away, but I literally get nothing. Maybe I got a fake which might be the case, but there's nothing

Love the fresh fruity opening. It’s definitely a reminder of late Spring and Summer. After a few hours I am really getting the jasmine and musk and a bit of coconut. Just love this one more than I remembered! Highly recommend as it’s so inexpensive and I get many compliments.

I really like this scent. It's tropical and sweet, reminds of a warm summer day on vacation on a tropical island 🏝..Great if you like tropical scents and good values for your money.

Smells like coconut shampoo with a vanilla ish twist. Not bad, not amazing either. Couldnt smell mango at all. Decent longetivity though.
