This is the best sunscreen/beach scent to me. It does not lean too tropical despite the coconut which is a very tricky note for me. This is not hawaii beach, it's florida or California. It gives sea salt and remnants of sunblock, without it being too realistic harsh sunscreen, the way so many feel very heavy on monoi and bitter. I much prefer that this goes in a powdery direction with the heliotrope. If you love at the beach from bath and body works but wanted something a little richer, slightly less sweet, and without banana, this is perfect. I used to have a candle called "sandcastles" or something similar that was exactly like this!

Adore! My immediate impression after spritzing this for the first time was: unremarkable and common. It’s oceanic for sure. As if the ocean seeped into a bottle of JPG Divine, watered it down, and ruined it. 20 minutes in, though, I changed my mind. Won me over when the lemon started shining! What a stroke of genius: lemon juxtaposed against almond, wood, spice, and sandy beach saltiness. Makes for a unique kind of gorgeous. Lucky for me, the lemon’s prominent on my skin. I don’t get coconut, though, like some other people do. It’s sandy in the vein of JPG Divine – which is something I love about both fragrances. And it gives *the* most gorgeous drydown: a veil of ylang ylang, heliotrope, and benzoin (3 of my favorite notes) dusts my skin and stays the whole day. Definitely one of my top favorites for summer.

As a coconut lover, I had higher hopes for this. I’d describe it as yellow florals (a bit chalky) with vague sandiness. It’s inoffensive but doesn’t last, and after the top notes fade (mainly the ylang-ylang) it’s not terribly attractive-smelling - on my skin at least. If you’re going for the perfect beach day/luxourious sunscreen type of scent I much prefer Virgin Island Water (Creed) or sunkissed godess (Kilian) for a slightly more feminine edge.

☀️ Maison Margiela Replica Beach Walk — 10/10 ☀️ Beach Walk smells like sun-warmed skin after a beautiful day by the water—the kind of fragrance that instantly puts me in a better mood. It opens with sparkling bergamot and lemon, softened by just enough pink pepper to keep it bright and interesting. As it settles on my skin, the creamy coconut milk, ylang-ylang, and powdery heliotrope begin to bloom. The coconut isn’t sugary or tropical-drink sweet. It feels smooth, airy, and expensive, like coconut-scented body lotion melting into warm skin. The dry-down is my favorite part. Musk, benzoin, and cedar give it a soft, sun-kissed warmth that feels comforting without becoming heavy. It’s clean, creamy, subtly sensual, and effortlessly feminine—the fragrance equivalent of glowing skin, tousled hair, and a white linen shirt over your favorite swimsuit. Beach Walk doesn’t smell like sunscreen to me as much as it smells like the memory of summer: salty air, warm sand, coconut lotion, and nowhere you need to be. If you love creamy skin scents that feel polished, relaxed, and quietly addictive, this one absolutely deserves a place in your collection. I’d wear it alone on hot summer days or layer it with a soft vanilla when I want something sweeter and even more delicious. 💜 If you enjoy honest fragrance reviews from a 46-year-old woman who's beauty obsessed, spoiled enough to buy her own little luxuries, and committed to giving you the same opinion I'd give my best friend, come find me! I'm always discovering hidden gems, revisiting old favorites, and sharing what truly deserves a spot in my collection.

Beach Walk is the third Maison Margiela fragrance I’m reviewing, but it was the first one I ever tried because I had been told it smelled similar to Tom Ford’s Soleil Blanc. In my opinion, it’s even better. When I was a child, in the late 1970s and early 1980s in Italy, there weren’t many sunscreens available, and the ones that existed smelled very much like Beach Walk. Yellow flowers and coconut. This fragrance is also a wonderful dive back into my childhood, and it doesn’t surprise me at all that its inspiration is Calvi in the 1970s. I find it delightful, and I completely disagree with those who say it doesn’t smell like a walk on the beach. The sandy note is absolutely noticeable, as is a marine nuance that makes it different from—and definitely better than—Soleil Blanc. I also completely disagree with the claim, made by many, that it is a distinctly feminine fragrance. This is exactly the scent my father too had on his skin after a day at the beach. E secondo me è addirittura meglio.

Too much ylang ylang, so it’s too sunscreen-y for any of the other notes to shine through. On par with TF Soleil Blanc and JHAG Vanilla Vibes, for better or worse

it doesnt really smell like a beach walk, but it still does smell very nice, its probably the nicest floral scent ive ever smelled from all the other floral ones ive smelled, its really realistic, like actual flowers, and its super nostalgic and evokes many memories.

Анонім★★★★★

think it might be just me but the creaminess of the coconut here remind me a bit of fig perfumes, which for me is the best creaminess (lol what did i write). last very long on me too, projecting like crazy after hours, better than some other perfumes i sprayed on me today (i tried 5? on different part of my skin). put this on my watch list.

When I first tried Beach Walk years ago, it smelled like a rather generic yellow floral to me, so I dismissed it. Years later, I revisited it and realized that some fragrances need to be experienced at the right age and in the right setting. Layered over sunscreen, Beach Walk becomes a true summer scent, one that belongs by the sea. It is not a distinctive signature fragrance but that was never its intention. It blends into everyday beach life. The scent of summer flowers drifting from a neighboring garden as you walk past in your swimsuit. So natural and comforting. I somehow found myself loving it. May your olfactory receptors surprise you too.

It smells like sunscreen: ylang-ylang and coconut wrapped in creamy, slightly smoky vanilla. And salt. Not the sea, not a shoreline stroll, but everything that comes after: skin kissed by sun and sea, sunscreen, footprints on hot sand washed over by a wave. Linear on me, fading out the way it began - as sunscreen. I like it; the beachy-solar genre is my thing. By comparison, Vanilla Vibes is a touch sweeter and more vanillic, without the coconut that defines Beach Walk. Eau de Soleil Blanc is airier and more tropical, without the saltiness. Curiously, Beach Walk seems to stand somewhere between them: the salted vanilla ties it to Vanilla Vibes, while the coconut and ylang bring it closer to Soleil Blanc.

Анонім★★★★★

Ylang-ylang, coconut and heliotrope with a heavy base of musk. Again, soapy, fruity, floral and musky. Unique but off putting and synthetic. It reminds me of a bottle from Chanel's chance line and Chanel Comete. Edit: If you're looking for a quality and photorealistic sunscreen go get: by Killian - sunkissed goddess.

I love this perfume, just not on my skin, the coconut doesn't work for me. However, I have to say, it is an absolutely incredible replica of beach days, of sunscreen mixed with the ocean breeze! It does take me back to where I grew up at the beach and to all those afternoons after school. But again, as a perfume it is not for me at all, it smells like spoiled milk when I spray it and I can't stand it, but I do appreciate the memories when it is not on my skin.

Анонім★★★★★

Smells like an incredibly pleasent version of the sunscreen i would wear to the pool as a kid. VERY strong ylang ylang and some coconut. 8.5/10, great for summer <3

Анонім★★★★★

Salty , sandy musky base with a lot of sunscreeny florals. A lot of ylang ylang in this too. It really does capture the smell of a day at the beach. Good stuff, although might be too literal for some.

This is a cozy, romantic beach scent that I think you should wear to your beach proposal. Super pretty. If you want to save a LOT of money for nearly the same scent, go for Jennifer Aniston's Near Dusk. There are some very mild differences (slightly different floral notes; MM is creamier and JA is a little more powdery), but they're close enough that if you put a blank tester strip of each in front of me, I'm not confident I'd be able to tell which is which. I own both, and I won't be getting Beach Walk again after finding JA's Near Dusk. Great, wearable scent, but not worth buying when there's such a fantastic dupe.

Анонім★★★★★

This scent is okay. It reads on skin as heavy on the florals and coconut. There are no aromatic or fresh scents to make this a beachy, watery perfume. Nothing mediterranean, nothing oceanic. Just coconut and whatever that evokes...as others have said, it's sunscreeny. It's weighty and creamy rather than light. I wouldn't buy a full bottle.

Анонім★★★★★

It's kinda beachy because of the coconut but that is only because of the sunscreen association rather than any marine or sandy evocation. There is no ocean here, instead it is floral. It is not even a garden planted next to a beach because at least even then you get some salt in the air or maybe a tinge of seaweed. Beach Walk is decidedly flowers and coconut. It's tropical, but missing sand. I feel this fragrance is a crude idea of a beach, rather than the real thing. It is a vacation scent. Something tourists wear, built up with their ideas of travel, without the reality of the country whose economy is at the mercy of their dollars. But I might be getting too wrapped up in the name itself. As a fragrance it is wearable and ideal for summer, if you want to smell like you just put on sunblock. 5/10

This is one of my favorite Replica scents. As for beach scents, they've been done before, and it's hard to make one stick out as exceptional. After some deliberation, I think it's because the coconut milk is balanced perfectly here so that it's not overpowering, but supports the other notes. The ylang-ylang really shines through beautifully. If I could only have one Replica scent, it would be this one!

this is a very floral summer perfume. upon initial spray, i can mainly smell coconut and ylang ylang with perhaps just a hint of lemon. there is a hint of seasalt, perhaps. for me, it is like a beachy chanel no.5 almost. i believe this is due to the ylang ylang which both perfumes feature. chanel no.5 has a lot of haters (i am not one of them, i adore it) but i don't think its haters would hate beach walk despite their similar DNA. for one, beach walk does not have aldehydrates or a powderiness that gives chanel no.5 the "grandma" feel. but it still does smell vintage to me. which does not surprise, because its inspiration is the calvi beach in 1972. to me, the scent evokes the feeling of looking through your older relatives' beach pictures. it's warm, it's pleasant. as it sits, the bergamot comes through to me more and the coconut loses its power, though it does not disappear completely. alongside the lemon, it becomes a floral citrus scent. 8 hours later, the coconut is completely lost, the ylang ylang turns subtle, and the scent becomes one primarily of bergamot and lemon. still enjoyable, but not as much as the initial spray for me. i don't think this is the ultimate summer fragrance, but i do enjoy it. 7/10

Sun-kissed, warm skin with sunscreen residue, the ocean breeze carries a faint, warm, powdery floral smell from a nearby bush to your nose. Quite pretty and feminine, but not overly elegant or ”overdone”. If anyone here is into Kibbe image ID’s, this is quintessentially (pure) Natural to me. Beach Walk smells like an Australian surfer chick with sun bleached hair coming home after a day at the beach. This isn’t my style, but I think it’s a well-crafted scent.

Just the thought of this makes my mouth water. I can't wait to buy a bottle. I think I've tried many "sunscreen" perfumes, this is the one. Not Soleil Blanc, not Vanill Vibes, not Bronze Goddess, but Beach Walk!!! It doesn't really read as something you put on, but something that becomes one with you and a part of your vibe.

I bought this fragrance specifically because I want to have something in my room I can smell and it bring back instant memories of the beach. I worn this on a trip to Florida and maybe I shouldn’t have sprayed if I was getting in the water anyways but It really is a photorealistic beach fragrance. I wouldn't wear on other occasions I would only wear this in the summer and if I’m out and about. Lovely fragrance and someone said in these reviews they thought this smells like if someone pissed in the pool, in my opinion, not at all bro just had a bad experience.

This is soooo loud on me I can only wear it outside but it is soo good. smells like kayaking in La Jolla and flirting with the guide

Анонім★★★★★

bergamot and lemon hit way too strong in the opening. when i first spray it it smells kinda like cologne. after a bit most of the notes come through except coconut. i do think it actually lives up to its name tho. but yep when im at the beach it even smells like someone peed in the water next to me

Man, I love Beach Walk so much. It's truly my perfect summer scent. Slightly floral, slightly salty, slightly coconutty. It's a warm breeze in the late afternoon at the Jersey Shore. I don't care how mainstream, popular, or overdone everyone thinks this is - to me, it's perfect.

Анонім★★★★★

smells like warm sunscreen, I think ylang ylang and coconut gives it the sunscreen smell and I absolutely love it. Definitely going to buy this at the first chance I get.

💓 Absolutely love this perfume 💓 Best combo: Beach Walk + Phlur Beach Skin + Phlur Island Swim ♥️ ♥️ ♥️

Yes this is basic but I just love it so much. It tickles my brain. I think I'm on my third bottle? So I'm obsessed. It definitely triggers crazy olfactory memories for me cause I bought this during one of the most memorable summers of my life. Now, every time I smell it, I transition to summer-happy-party mode. Then I put it away for September - June and when it comes back out, my body is ready. Replica Beach Walk and the sound of cicadas are the two things I associate with summer. I'll probably wear this forever
