Luna Rossa Ocean

Love this scent. I definitely get ocean vibes in this, a versatile scent for every man who wants a good scent that use it for daily use, an almost all season rounder meaning that it's perfect for spring/summer/autumn i have no idea about winter though. Very good dry down delicious caramel topped with that musk and pachouli, it's amazing i am surprised of the dry down that for me it is a great summer fragrance but a somehow gourmand summer fragrance? this is a hybrid for sure, no wonder i keep hearing prada ocean edt. Unfortunately it is not a loud fragrance longevity is not that great and sillage becomes a skin scent in the 4th hour. Price is not bad too but i am sure you can find this much cheaper. Love the scent, ocean, caramel, citrus, suede spiciness with beautiful iris but performance is unfortunate, i would not buy this at full price rather i would definitely buy this at 50% discount, or if i am new to fragrances but in my opinion if you want this fragrance just buy the 50ml and then decide whether it's for you or not. Overall 7/10.

For some reason I remember this one being more oceanic. It's definitely warm and spicier than I remember, and I accidentally got a dabber instead of an atomizer one, so it doesn't get that nice aeration for the top notes. Definitely got the powdery note, too. I could've sworn it was more, but maybe I'm confusing the Luna Rossa line a bit. Still pretty nice.

Prada Luna Rossa Ocean is Prada’s response to the "blue fragrance" trend. It sits in a strange middle ground—trying to be both a blue scent and a clean soap/laundry-like fragrance. On top of that, naming it "Ocean" tries to pitch it as something marine or aquatic, but it has absolutely nothing to do with those kinds of fragrances. As someone who generally loves all blue fragrances, the harsh, detergent-like clean vibe in this one just didn't work for me. In fact, that overwhelming cleanliness made it feel way too synthetic—almost like pouring brown sugar into a floor cleaner and spraying it on yourself. On the upside, despite being an EDT, the projection surprised me. I know EDTs are meant to project, but this one is intense; there is no way someone walking near you won't catch a whiff of it. It does get better as it dries down, and it's definitely a very youthful scent. Honestly, if I smelled it on someone else, I might even ask what they're wearing, but it’s just not a blue fragrance I’d want to wear myself. In my opinion, it falls behind other blue fragrances in the market.

Smells like a luxury young male bedroom air freshner if that makes sense. It keeps the exact Prada L'Homme sexy iris but makes it a tad blue, warm and unique, longevity could be better but it's an overall nicely soft scent. Disclaimer: best seasons for this are mid-late spring and summer because below 5-10 degrees celsius it becomes quite screechy and doesn't have the same alluring sexiness present in hotter weather, the ingredients mix-up into a weirdly sharp scent during colder weather and becomes not bad but different enough not to be worn however if you're in a hotter climate this one's a super innofensive sexy scent. I'd also recommend the original luna rossa edt, its also a soapy minty lavender which smells very modern but lacks the iris which is highly unique in the Prada lineup and i love it, or Luna Rossa Black. Keep in mind Luna Rossa Ocean is predominatly musky rather than blue.. the term of blue comes from its somewhat airy texture rather than actual salty or marine scent which isnt present at all. Many say the presentation isn't reflecting the smell and i agree but i'd also agree that it's a good very unique type of smell just like many other Prada which seduces not only the ladies but the wearer too.

Classic fresh and musky scent. Inoffensive and will draw compliments. That marketing copy is hilarious absolute shite though. Watch out for that racy duo of lavender and sage, it’ll get you! My husband wore this tonight and I can confirm that, just like Prada has suggested, he is able to push beyond his limits, imagine beyond possibility and open new horizons. And here I was thinking this was just a mid-range designer fragrance!

Pretty solid blue fragrance. VERY musky fresh. I definitely detect parts of Acqua di Gio Profondo from this. If you have smelled ADG Profondo, this is the way muskier version of that. It's like 40% ADG profondo in the opening, and then 20% in the dry down. The musk really takes over this fragrance in a beautifully smoothed out way. This is one of my favorite basic fresh musky scents that I've smelled. But does it stand out compared to all the other blue fragrances out there? No. I think that this would only be a worthy purchase if you don't already own a blue fragrance. Otherwise, it'd be redundant. I can name at least 5 other blue fragrances off the top of my head that I'd buy over this, so I won't be getting a full sized bottle, my 7 ml dabber will suffice 💪 This is a youthful and bright musky scent profile. I think the age range would go from 14 - 25. Performance on this is slightly above average for an eau de toilette. Overall rating: 8/10. I would rate it lower simply because there are better blue fragrances out there, but this one iust does musk right 🤌 Update: Unfortunately has very poor longevity 😢 lasted 2 and a half hours max on my skin, and then disappeared 💔💔 they gotta drop a parfum version

Women absolutely love this stuff. Wore this as a signature for a while and ran through an entire 50ml. Consistent compliments throughout winter and summer. Truly one of the best dumb reaches ever made. I’m currently trying to find a “better” freshie than this. and if i can’t i’ll buy a 100ml.

If you just want to smell clean and good then this is good, just doesn't last the longest.

I have a very large collection of niche, designer, clone fragrances, and I have to say - Prada Luna Rossa Ocean EDT (I also have the EDP) is a great Spring/Summer/Signature Scent. This scent is fresh, non-offensive, has a beautiful, deeper dry down. If you want compliments, this fragrance is a complete no-brainer. Women like this.

I'm starting to tilt toward those who think most fresh and/or blue fragrances smell somewhat the same. I finally decided to get a full bottle of this and when I spray it, I go spray Versace Eros and Hawas OG just to compare because it reminded me of either one but when I spray the other two, then I can definitely smell the difference. Maybe I'm starting to get tired of freshies. It is a lovely fragrance but the performance is meh.

I got a sample yesterday of this one and its super good ...its sweet and soaby and clean seriously love it....and yes maybe it lacks little bit of that ocean smell but its okay i still over that smell...super gorgeous

A great spring/summer scent with nice longevity and projection, very nice and safe and mass appealing and has this candy bracelet vibe, I rate it a strong 9/10.

Over hyped by influencers. Opening is okay, has a fresh laundry smell. The scent has this weird medicinal note to it that I don't like.

Call me nuts but its as if Gucci Guilty Elixir had a baby with PDM Percival in this ,,,,, smells amazing!

Ysl myslf gets all the credit and glory, but the truth is, Prada did it first and Prada did it better. iykyk My opinion is, Prada Luna Rossa Ocean is the best fragrance in its class. Myslf is 🔥🔥 Ocean is 🔥🔥🔥 And the reality is, you can't go wrong with either fragrance. Despite everyone saying they smell the same, they really don't, so no reason you can't own both.

Just so be clear this one smells nothing like YSL MYSLF which is straight up detergent smelling but with better quality, however Ocean EDT is much more original and isn't smelling like detergent at all, it's just a very luxurious Iris/Lavender with a distinct Suede note and Caramel which sits as a backbone and gives the whole mix something slightly sweet to cling to but nothing near gourmand that's why this one's perfect in the spring and summer however in the colder months its smell changes into something sharper i'd rather not wear at all so for a luxurious scent in spring and summer i find it very good but it's not a all year round fragrance, performance is fine(around 5-6 hours) with medium sillage in the first 2 hours before it's becoming a nice skin scent people sense when getting around you for another 4 hours, to me this one's basically Prada L'Homme made much much better, complex and finished as a fragrance like very distinctive, original and more masculine leaning.

This was my first ever fragrance in my collection. It's a nice fresh aromatic scent that is perfect for a daily spring/summer scent. the lavender is super strong to me, but it's very nice. The only issue is it only last like 3-4 hours max and fades really quickly into a skin scent. It's nothing more than a simple designer freshy but is still avery solid fragrance. 7/10.

This is basically YSL Myslf but YSL is better… in my opinion anyway. If you like this, get YSL instead

After the initial spray, it reminds me of Dior Homme Intense 2011 opening but with a slightly more soapy scent.

Not aquatic or blue at all. If you like iris and lavender, you will probably like this. But unfortunately I do not. The dry down is better than the opening in my opinion, but still not something I ever reach for. I wanted so badly to love this fragrance too

A clean scent, nice soapy/powdery notes which is not a profile I usually go for. Bought it after a quick instore test as I wanted a summer scent for my collection (I seem to default to winter scent profiles as a rule) and it’s a good pick up. The scent is lovely but performance lets it down, a little more longevity and projection would lift it a level. 7.5/10.

Most detectable notes for me: Pepper, Lavender, Iris and Sage Review: Very similar feel to Bleu De Chanel (EDP), but with less woods and amber. Luna Ocean is also more peppery and powdery but still is very inspired by BDC. Being very similar, it also suffers from the same unfortunate problem, where although presented in a blue bottle and being called ‘Ocean’, it smells more, well …purple rather than blue? Fragrances like AD Profondo for example, really give that photorealistic sense of the ocean with its salty and mineralic notes. Controversial opinion… I prefer Ocean to BDC. If I could recommend a safe bet, generic, likeable fragrance for a gift for a someone 16-45, this would be my number one choice. Season: Spring/Summer/Autumn Use: Really likeable and versatile everyday fragrance. Office safe and informal.

After like 30 minutes is dries down into YSL MYSLF. And the drydown is what I really liked about this. So I bought MYSLF instead.

I’ve smelt this and MYSLF. In my opinion this is better. Just smoother imo and MYSLF when I smelt it started off harsh and just the most generic scent of all time. Ocean EDT takes that DNA and just adds that lavender and iris and makes it better. 9/10 certified banger! Probably the best dryer sheet smell in the best way possible 😂 you’ll definitely get compliments with this one. Performance is actually pretty good for a freshie on my skin 4-6 hours max. 8-10 on clothes. Nice spring and summer scent. Can be pulled off in the fall too but I’ll skip it during the winter time.
