Luna Rossa Ocean Eau de Parfum

My favorite fragrance without question. Blows my mind from top note to bottom. I get asked what I’m wearing and complemented about it often. I only spray it twice on my chest and it can carry pretty far, having been chased down to be asked. It is stronger than people think imo reading some of the reviews.

I got a free decant of this at Sephora and fell in love with it, the ocean title is so misleading as this is literally a sweet fragrance and gives 0 ocean vibes at all, if you can get this for like $80 3.4 oz it's worth the $. Decent longevity, spray on clothes tho and it'll last even after washing your clothes. Top 3 Prada right here, and the other ocean edt should be illegal worst lasting cologne ever don't make the mistake of buying the edt!!!

To me this smells like ultra males more sophisticated brother. The bubblegum sweetness is replaced by a much less synthetic vanilla with intimate amber and woods overall this is a 8.5/10 and I would wear this year round and to any occasion.

Smells like Zara's vanilla and woody amber boosted über generic men's fragrances, you know the plague happened after One Million and Invictus era, somewhat aromatic but in the end nothing special, you've smelled this or a variation of it a million times if you've ever stepped into a fragrance store. It's also evident this is worlds apart from the DNA that Daniele Andrier carved for Prada, I wonder what she thinks about the shift. I have her masterpiece L'Homme EDT on one arm, and Luna Rossa Ocean EDP on the other as I type this. The quality and class difference is huge.

Think of the differences between Prada L'Homme and Prada L'Homme L'eau. If you prefer Prada L'Homme, you may prefer Luna Rossa Ocean EDP. If you prefer Prada L'Homme L'Eau, you may prefer Luna Rossa Ocean EDT.

I love the EDT as my office scent (in a scent free environment lol)… bought this on a 10ml decant and wearing for the first time today. I’m not sure yet. It’s a nice scent, pleasant, but just getting amber and vanilla. It feels almost too safe or something. I’ll have to try it again a few times before I decide where on the love-hate spectrum it falls.

Absolutely not oceanic, but it smells amazing. This is even better than the original Prada Luna Rossa Ocean EDT! Would not recommend and would gatekeep!

Eh... I had a 1.7ml sampler decant that I finally killed tonight. It's a nice designer frag but it's a one and done for me. Being the bougie snob that I am, later tonight when this stuff starts to die down, I'll spray some Amouage Decision over it. Life's just too short to settle for mediocrity.

a good perfume that can be worn at any season, at any time, during any weather to be honest (even if I think that it performs worse during cold weather) BUT, and I used a third of the 100ml bottle, I can't get used to it overall. I did get "used to it", because I think that my brain eliminated the vanilla scent. But after using another perfume and going back to this one, this very chemical vanilla came back to my nose... It is sad because this perfume would have been amazing (and my favorite perfume), but only if it didn't have so much sweetness and such a chemical, nausea inducing vanilla... I can't put this anymore, this vanilla is too much and I don't want to make anybody incomfortable because of it. Performance is not really great neither anyways.

This is an okay perfume. The first spray completely surprised me, the bottle being blue and being part of the ocean line had me thinking this was gonna have a fresh marine scent. But NO this is very heavy amber, you get a lil grapefruit in the first few minutes but then is quickly becomes a synthetic frankincense vanilla bomb. Definitely not for me but if you enjoy vanilla this might be for you.

Like most of the reviews below, my experience has been the same. The grapefruit opening is amazing, but it quickly dries down to frankincense and amber. The amber drydown is a bit rubbery- dont like that part. Moderate projection and longevity. Have it because got i got it cheaper than retail. 6/10

I got the EDT version and this is a totally different fragrance compared. I’m surprised they made this an ocean flanker. It starts off with a nice citrus and probably 5 minutes later it drys down to a pretty nice vanilla that reminds me of a vanilla bean. This a good summer night fragrance and cool nights. This is more of a fall/winter signature and summer nights out to me. 7.5/10 I think the EDT is better. But definitely non redundant. You can have both.

This one smells exactly like inside of a make up bag. There are also pencil shaves in that bag too. Boring and doesn't stay long. No need to buy

This is a unique scent profile. Worth having. I’ve heard I smelled clean while wearing this. Definitely the Prada signature cleanness in it. In late drydown it smells addictive and comforting, and reminiscences Ocean EDT which I love (EDT sadly disappears extremely quickly).

This is a smooth powdery vanilla paired with a cool amber, also has these secondary accords of fresh spice, which gives this fragrance a very clean, classy, and mature profile that is office friendly, and super versatile even as a signature scent; all the elements combine to create a rich almost leathery accord. At its core it’s an Amber Vanilla fragrance but this one stands out for it’s masculine, balanced nature.

I had ordered the EDT version of this.. but Macy's somehow gave me the EDP.. So I kept it. I figured it would be like the EDT... Nope. It's not even the same scent anymore. Crazy. I think I wore it maybe 4x then had to give it away to an Uncle who tried it and really liked it. Lots of Amber, Vanilla, and Woods.. I think it's definitely a cooler weather scent like end of Fall into Winter.. but Spring would work too.. Nothing over like 70 degrees. I just can't get into it. I loved the juicy opening for like all 5 mins.. then it's gone. This was Not for me. It's just OK.. 5/10 for me. It's kind of boring and pretty ambery woody. Nothing like the EDT. Test before buying.

mmm . this smells so good to me I bought it for myself . I don't get any grapefruit just a fresh vanilla amber. Signature scent worthy and year round. I have the edt and prefer the edp.

Ambery vanilla, nothing unique, very generic. If you like that sort of profile (I don't), there's nothing bad about it. Incense in it is subtle and overall vibe leans towards clean rather than stuffy. Rather intimate projection. Should be very versatile occasion-wise and season-wise.

Opens powdery and gently floral, like lotion; with a mild saltiness. The grapefruit and incense notes produce a faint iris-like accord. Unlike what the name suggests, it isn't oceanic at all. Drydown is balsamic, resinous, and woody — similar theme to Prada Paradigme, but far less sweet. It is easily likeable, but a bit simple; which is not a bad thing by the way, and is obviously the whole point here. If you want a fragrance that radiates ambery warmth with a flat, neutral sweetness; then this one is for you. Overall a very relaxed, pleasant, and professional-smelling fragrance. ✅Great

Very synthetic amber that is headache inducing and overall "fresh" vanilla and amber scent is unique and not bad every once in a while

This fragrance is absolutely my favorite in my collection. It's a very soapy and clean smelling fragrance. The first day I wore it, I got compliments from others on it. It's a very inoffensive smell, and can be considered a crowd pleaser imo. A little pricey, but it's definitely worth it. Performance is good, however I wish it had a bit more sillage. 9/10

This is one of those that I sampled here and there until I found a deal on a bottle . So unlike the Le Parfum version this does have an ocean feel to it. Very minimal and I'm sure many will disagree. It's not a salty ocean and airy. It just gives me a dark night soapy ocean vibe. I think it's the grapefruit with the frankincense but with that signature Prada soapy DNA . As it dries down the vanilla becomes more apparent but to me it's not an overload at all. It dried down to a vanilla amber slight woody with lightly soapy and that popular "blue" DNA . It's not mind blowing or totally different but that Prada soapy DNA gives it its own character and in my opinion it makes this fragrance. It easy to like . Think of a deep blue vanilla fragrance with bits of Prada L'homme inserted . Performance isn't bad, 6 hours easy . It projects for a good hour or 2 and for me it was pretty strong on my skin for about 4 hours. This can get you through a date 4 to 5 hours . Work 8 hours. Super versatile, that should go without saying. Day ,night, all year. It's probably not the best for upper 80s+ temperature but other than that this is great . I give this a 7.5/10

I recently purchased this fragrance and after a number of wearings, I quite like it. It's certainly deeper than Ocean EDT (which I also own) and moves from initial citrus/fresh top notes to a deeper vanilla/amber scent. Long lasting, sexy and fairly potent (watch the sprays on this one). I sniffed my wrist hours after I sprayed it and the dry down gave me a faint reminder of MFK's Grand Soir, which is also a very ambery/vanilla scent. They are no means identical but the dry down and the focus on amber and vanilla in Ocean EDP gave me that comparison.

The opening is great, but the dry down us boring and lack any character. The longevity is mediocre as well 5/10

If this had better performance I would really like it a lot more. Scent is lovely, fresh and warm at the same time. I have had this many years now, and gone through most of the bottle before I decided I was disappointed in the performance as in I would wear it as a daily driver but it never lasted me a full day but I did not mind as I usually work out at lunch time. But it is expensive for a fragrance that has no staying power. My bottle is not refillable so I can't buy a refill and I dont want to buy another bottle at the price I see. So I think I will move on from this scent after I finish the bottle but I do really like the scent profile. Just wish it was stronger and lasted longer (the big issue)

Amber in a bottle, this is the definition of balance between cool and warm. Very clean vanilla and amber so it’s also good pretty masculine, but I’m not sure it’s worth the price.

Simply described: The opening is like a shower gel and the dry down is vanilla powdery clean. It's not a WOW release, But it's a nice choice when you want to wear something casual and clean without thinking much about it. I only wear it to the gym and it does the job for me.
