I got this in about 6 months ago sprayed it on and hated it.come today now I really like it not to bad at all glad i gave it a second chance.I will say be carefull on the sprays 2-3 max
Listen, This sings in the summer, it’s no more cloying than sun block…WHICH WHAT IS DESIGNED TO MEMIC! Wear this with sun screen, beach or pool and watch it sing. Or beach party in the evening. It almost smells marine aquatic in the open air. For those saying it leans feminine, is Sun screen feminine? Yes!
Lovely scent, but be cautious with sprays because it will become too much too fast.
Picture this: You don't give a shit that 1 Million is a winter frag. You sprayed some on and went out to the beach on a hot sunny day. That's what this smells like. Except, the spicy cinnamon and grapefruit have been replaced with salt and coconut. It has the character of 1 Million, but it's soaked in beachy sunlight. Is it a winter frag or summer frag? I don't know, but the performance is fucking crazy. Maybe it's something you'd wear in the winter to brighten up a room. 7/10. I can't say it beats 1 Million Elixir.
Paco Rabbane One Million. Too harsh and synthetic. One of the worst perfumes ever purchased by me.
My number 1 parfum for date night. It smells so good and luxurious. But now, the salty note is way too prominent. When I first bought it, it was almost nothing like that. But it is an amazing parfum.
I'm surprised that nobody notices how close this smells to Kenzo homme. It was one of the first things I noticed. It smells like a smoother version of Kenzo Homme edp. I looked it up and saw that the perfumer is Quentin Bisch, so no coincidence. However I think this fragrance has had a reformulation since it was released, because I remember smelling it when it first came out and found it overly sweet, almost nauseating and very cloying. The edt was so much better. Now it smells a lot less sweet, fresher and overall more pleasant. I smelled this one along with Elixir, Gold, Gold Elixir, Royal and Night Elixir and find the Parfum to be the most interesting, mature and unique one. I find the other flankers overly sweet without any originality. Their targets are clearly different. They are clearly for the younger crowd, with the exception of Royal. I find Parfum to be the most mature smelling, I think mainly because of the toned down sweetness compared to the other flankers. I agree with reviewers that it can be a little unisex, but definitely not feminine leaning. It is masculine enough to not be feminine. I find Gold, Elixir and Night Elixir more feminine leaning because of the sweetness. Compared to Kenzo Homme I have to admit that that one smells more masculine, but 1 Million Parfum smells less harsh and more wearable. I wouldn't call this a masterpiece, but definitely excellent work from Quentin Bisch. Out of all the flankers, Parfum is my favourite, second to the original.
Sunscreen + sunburn vibes.
The most unique 1 million from the line. Its beautiful scent with beast mode performance . In my opinion its a unisex fragrance for sure. You can use this in every occasion but not in high heat though Scent: 8 Longevity: 9.5/10 Projection: 9/10
1 Million Parfum is one of the few fragrances that performs like it was made for winter but smells like it was made for the summer. The white florals, salty notes, and tropical coconut give it a warm-weather vibe, while the ambergris, leather and pine give it the strength and depth for a cold-weather fragrance. It easily lasts 8 - 9 hours on skin with strong projection for the first 2 hours, outperforming most designer fragrances. It is instantly recognizable while still feeling smooth and wearable. I will say the tuberose does make this slightly unisex. Definitely the best-performing release in the 1 Million line that hasn’t been discontinued.
I am a bit skeptical with this one. It's definitely a good fragrance and I totally get the hype. Many people love it and I believe it does it's job really really well. I used to like it too but as I keep thinking about it I kind of regret buying it as my daily. Sure the fragrance has an amazing price (100 euros for 200ml) and it is long lasting and projects. BUT the bottle looks really tacky and over the top "luxurious" for my taste. And yes I know thats the point but even then it's just so extra. Automizer is actually not as awful as people say, at least in my experience. About the fragrance itself it's very sweet and overwhelming. I do not believe its bad but again it can be a lil bit of a headache especially if you overspray, which for some happens all the time with people wearing this fragrance. Speaking of that its a really common fragrance as well. And I do believe it's reputation is ruined because everyone has this and they do spray it in every situation. I mean you can find ppl from your work to literally a beach party wearing this and it's just odd. Honestly I think I was a bit harsh with it but this is only because I cannot decide if I like it or not. Last thing I will leave for those who are thinking of buying it tho is this: You should try it 100% before you buy. There are better alternatives for cheaper (joop homme wild) and it does smell better.
Completamente aberrante, ahora no se cómo deshacerme de él.
This fragrance has a sweet creamy character yet somehow manages to be fitting in summer days; the notes that standout the most is that sweet powdery tuberose, also get a lot of buttery richness from the monoi oil, and this salty solar accord I assume is from the ambergris/ ambroxan.. overall this scent evokes the smell of a luxurious leather that’s been drenching under the sun and gets splashed occasionally by sea water, and when the water evaporates, is what this scent smells like.. I love leather as an accord, and this fragrance is a bright twist on leather fragrances with a floral touch.
A good starter frag, if a bit generic. Smells good, projects fairly well, not much to complain about. I would've probably rated it an 8.5/10 when I was 21, but now maybe a 6.5/10... it just feels a bit young, a bit naive.
Can’t believe all the positive reviews about this one. Well shame on me I DID believe them; enough to buy a partial bottle…(batch code 30261) and after a wearing had to come vent. This sh*t is SICKLY SYRUPY SWEET for at least the first hour. Thereafter it doesn’t develop much, just gets slightly less nauseatingly sweet as the hours go on. As for the ones raving about the tuberose: get your hands on a bottle of Dior Tendre Poison to experience tuberose done tastefully. Can’t recommend this. Dries down to same smudgy bubblegum that the OG does. But to each their own! I’m just giving a warning to those who might appreciate that sort of thing. I love sweet fragrances when done right (Joop Homme Lancaster version, Balmain BalMan etc etc) but this is verging on too much…
For a designer fragrance - this to me is really unique. It's the type of scent that I can't really pinpoint the notes as I'm not an expert on tuberose as a fragrance note, for example. Good for a unique all round wearer. The 1 million line in general is extremely over hated tbh. Worth a try
God I love tuberose. I'm so glad I found this as one of the very few men's tuberose scents, the salty coconutty monoi oil just elevates it even more. It's so addicting and just completely stands out compared to all the fragrances I have sampled and owned. It's absolutely beast mode in every sense of the term, you don't need to spray much at all. I will be wearing and testing it out in every season to figure out when would be best to wear it because it seems beachy but given the sweetness it might wear better in colder weather.
I really like this fragrance. I don't mind flower notes in men's cologne but this definitely also gives like the most luxurious potpourri vibe, and that's not what I want. I like this more as a room spray, but it smells damn good
My bf wears it and it becomes so sweet on his skin, when I smelled it from the bottle I was surprised that its the same as on him. Lasts pretty well on clothes and skin I'd say. I like it on him, 10/10.
Scent profile: Nice walk at the flower market where the roses are fresh and amplified. A soft and comforting blanket of jasmine, certainly unisex. A Christmas-like drydown. Maybe it would remind of someone you know. This is the first fragrance I have so far that I would consider "art in a bottle". Easy on the trigger. Layer it with a soft citrus and you may get an alternate version of Neroli Portofino. Got from Winners, Canada 700123 790118 8
Ever since the widely-known 1 Million EDT, Rabanne has been releasing numerous flankers in an attempt to keep the DNA up to date and improving it little by little with every new entry. One such flanker is 1 Million Parfum which is definitely an improvement over the OG 1 Million, but it's still nothing more than a synthetic, attention-grabbing designer not reeking of quality, but I'll admit that it does have a touch of originality as far as designers go. It starts off with clear resemblance of the OG - sweet, synthetic, youthful. However, it doesn't just bump the sweetness with cinnamon and spearmint like the OG. 1 Million Parfum departs this approach by introducing an intoxicating tuberose that presents a clear saltiness which makes for the slightly more distinct edge. It is progressively warmed up by "solar notes" which appear to not be listed in here, while the cashmeran offers a velvety, gently musky and creamy nuance that does pair nicely with the tuberose. A fruity accord is also prominent, but I can't put my finger on what exactly exudes it. Labdanum introduces a sticky, ambery profile underneath the still dominating salty tuberose, while I further get some musky/clean, almost mineral touches that slowly transcend into a gently creamy, lotion-like aroma. Seemingly, there was also an attempt to incorporate some piney notes in here, and... unless you imagine it while smelling 1 Million Parfum, you don't get any true pine scent. Similar case with the leather, which is quite muted and overpowered by the rest of the notes. It's definitely more prominent in the OG 1 Million. So while 1 Million Parfum might be slightly better composition-wise, mostly in terms of originality, me personally, I'd still lean towards the OG if I were forced to choose, which strikes me as slightly more smooth, whereas 1 Million Parfum seems to go all out on attention-grabbing. More "well-behaved" is better put than smoother. Hence, it's no surprise that the performance is also on point with 1 Million Parfum. Significantly stronger than 1 Million EDT, on my skin, reaching about 11 hours in longevity. Projection is plenty the first 2 hours, leaving a hard-to-miss trail wherever you go. But afterwards, it takes a step back and it keeps projecting more around 1-2 feet for one or two more hours, just enough for someone next to you to catch a whiff from time to time. I say that because most people buying 1 Million Parfum (and fragrances from the 1 Million line in general) are teenagers who might be searching for their first fragrance. And of course, attention is one of the main criteria here. So simply put, beast mode performance is a must in this case. That's not exactly the case with 1 Million Parfum, at least not for me, but anyone daring to overspray will achieve an annoying level of sillage. Versatility-wise, this is made for clubbing, parties, and more so daily wear than anything else. But for anyone over the age of 20 who understands that he's not a kid anymore and doesn't want to be perceived as such will certainly not consider a fragrance from the 1 Million lineup. It's still clearly aimed at a young demographic. Most of the flankers smell clearly youthful and playful, screaming for attention more often than not. Maybe that's more fitting for a teen going through puberty, but not exactly fitting for someone who already has to pay taxes. In the end, you wear what you like, and 1 Million Parfum does manage to get many people's approval. I can see why it's so liked, but judging the overall composition as it stands, it's just another designer that stands out a bit because of the salty tuberose combo. Presentation: 6/10 Scent: 4/10 Longevity: 9/10 Projection: 7/10 Versatility: 8/10 Value for Money: 3.5/10 Overall: 6.25/10
Long lasting, powerful, amazing florals, very surprised about this, love it so much, it projects, excellent, 10/10
This is a great scent and deserves all the recognition and hand claps. It lasts long and performs well for people around you, and yourself to enjoy the scent bubble in the air. But, that is just it, you can only enjoy your own scent trail. The scent up close, on the skin, is almost off putting in a bad way. Its in my opinion not a late night date scent for intimacy. So, for performance in the air it deserves great applause and will leave people trying to sniff for more, but up close you will wish you never sniffed it yourself. I will still give it a 8 out of 10 And will repurchase it, and miss it if I smell it in the air from someone else.
It's a nice fragrance, but sometimes it tends to smell too much like an older person. I personally recommend it, but it's not a blind buy
As the previous reviewer said, this one is a certified banger. I’m usually not very fond of Paco Rabanne fragrances, but this one is amazing and borderline addictive.
Absolute banger. I don't think this is as unisex as people claim, there is some weight to this. It's a lovely white floral that doesn't become stingy to your nose. Just very round, full-bodied, bright, joyful. While it is strong it's so approachable it's hard to make it offensive. The manoi-oil accord really smooths out the composition while also freshing it up, I always find that coconut stuff is rather refreshing and so it is here. The leather is present but it's not a couch leather, it's not an Ombre Leather, it's smooth blended well and just adds a little bit of masculine oomph to the composition. Easily the best 1 million, and top 5 Rabanne Also Quentin Bisch is amazing
That's a happy floral fruity scent blended nicely with no synthetic notes. Solid release for sure with lasting power.
Nice fragrance, very sweet. I give it an 8/10.
The smell is addicting and the performance and sillage are there. It leans more masculine in my opinion but still teeters unisex. I’ve gotten all positive compliments from both men and women with the exception of one person.
oh woooww this is lovely. I'd love my butch to wear it
