Hawas Kobra

Another Middle East Factory synthetic chemical mess. Dont expect the quality or a 1:1 clone of expensive fragrance houses. You live in fantasy land if you think these cheap synthetic clones are same as the Originals.

Smells like a luxury soap as you've probably heard a hundred times. VERY STRONG! Go EASY on those sprays or you'll suffocate and want to scrub it off. Seriously. What a glorious problem to have! 🥳 2-3 sprays and I was smelling it 8+ hours. Very strong projection for the first couple hours and doesn't really become a "skin scent" until hours later. On clothing it lasts multiple days so be careful.

Just got mine through the mail and I’ve ordered two more bottles. I don’t really get the LV imagination comparison cuz I’ve smelled imagination and in my humble opinion it’s not worth all that money. This smells a lot like something I have in my collection. It smells like a less spicier version of castley by PDM.

Opening is very strong and doesnt remind me of imagination. Imagination is citrusy, while this is fresh spicy like dior sauvage, later during middle notes and dry down is identical to imagination.

Harsh synthetic chemical smell from start to finish.

For me this is very similar to Al harmain Dubai blue which I dislike cus it js smells like egg fried noodles to me cus of the spice. This is that but made better. Spicyness toned down but I don't even think I get any tea. Dominated by the ginger and neroli. For me smone who hasn't smell imagination if I had to imagine no pun intended it has to be Mykonos inception it's like a perfect sweet spot of everything. But if u want a beast mode tea fragrance try riffs freeze which is almost cloying to me of how strong it is

This isn't a imagination dupe. Its actually 1 to 1 with l enfant terrible by Givenchy. Its way sharper and less soap forward than imagination.

I haven't smelled imaginaion so can't tell the closeness to the og but daymm i like it a lot. STRONG AS HEL TOO This defines only two things. CITRUS & FRESH SPICY

To my nose it's almost identical to the way Marwa smells. It's a fresh & spicy easy to wear anytime type of scent. You can't go wrong with this one if you're looking to smell clean and fresh all day.

After Hawas Black this is my most favourite perfume from Hawas lineup. Beast mode performance. 10/10.

Third update. Still impressed by the nuclear levels of performance, and still adore the green tea note. Here's the problem. The opening and mid last approximately the same length as any other scent. It's the drydown where the longevity shines. But the drydown has none of the green tea and musk notes that make the opening and mid so delightfully interesting. All you're left with, at the drydown stage, is citrus. That's it. Which is great if you want to smell like a cleaning product for 24 hours. Personally, I don't. So, if you're planning to wear Hawas Kobra (and I'd still say it has a place in a fragrance collection, at an outdoors summer event, for instance, where the projection will shine in an appropriate environment) then also plan to have a shower a few hours later.

Honestly I understand smells are somewhat subjective. The only notes I get are ginger, a orange leaning bergamot light tea and then commercial cleaner specifically citrus window cleaner or what your average hotel house keeper smells like after cleaning a bunch of rooms. Not bad just can't get rid of the house keeping vibe.

Not a clone definitely, and its too spicy for me

I blind bought this. It’s very strong… but I’m smelling a different profile than the ones listed here. I swear I am picking up strong pipe tobacco/ Damask rose notes that last the whole day and then some; I had sprayed a piece of paper and left it on my dresser. Later late that night I woke up and could smell that piece of paper 4 feet away… it’s warm and comforting but slightly exotic and weird. I gifted this to my son who agrees on the tobacco notes. I will be interested in seeing how this evolves after macerating a month or so.

Smelling the OG from my cousins fiance as they are from Canada made me fall in love with this DNA. Unfortunately where I live LV doesnt have any stores and there is no way to smell it again. Went ahead and tested marwa at a local middle eastern shop and I wasnt a huge fan tbh, to me it smelled very green like grassy dirt type of green, wasnt getting any soapiness at all. Then Kobra was next to it, tested it and I must say that its not a 1:1 to the OG, it is a twist but i 100% prefer it to marwa, instead of it smelling like you took a bath, it does smell soapy but it also smells like you applied a very nice lotion on yourself, now take it as you want but to me, i love that type of scent and the performance and projection is absolutely insane, projection: 3-4 hours even more, longevity easily 7-8 hours. Very beautiful fragrance, dont use many sprays as it is strong af, but truthfully, one of the nicest LV imagination dupes out there. Additionally amazing daily wear, you smell like a person who takes good care of themselves

this reminds me of erba pura more than anything els, just less sweet and more green yogurt smell rather than fruity

A fresh citrusy and soapy fragrance. I paid around 39 usd in total so really happy with it.

I just bought Kobra. Chaos. At first sniff, I didn't like this fragrance at all. It absolutely killed my nose — I couldn't even tell how strong it was. The opening was insanely intense. I got a lot of citrus, ginger and some very strong spices. CHAOS, I'll get back to you later when it calms down a bit, for now I'm thinking about how to get the money I paid for this back.. EDIT — 2 days later: Well, well... things are changing. Now this fragrance is getting interesting. There is no sweetness, no vanilla shit — only KOBRA sharpness. Pure sharpness with no mercy — like a razor blade projecting aggressively through the air. At first, it gave me a slightly old-school barbershop impression, and I honestly didn't like it at all. But the more I wore it, the more it started to make sense. It has this peppery, almost nose-tingling sharpness that cuts through the air like a razor. When you move, you suddenly get hit by these sharp waves of fragrance. It's not a soft, inviting scent — it has attitude. The name Kobra actually fits it perfectly: cold, dangerous, elegant and aggressive. This isn't a fragrance that gently surrounds you. It strikes. Beast-mode dry shaving with a sabre. 🐍⚔️

ive never seen the hype behind the pricetag of imagination its a good scent profile but not worth the money. i live in a climate where its pretty humid in summer and spring so the light citrus tea-neroli prfile is ideal and better than ysl y ,bdc and sauvage etc so for me the airy nature of the scent dna exceeds anything else. i went into this with the thought itd be a cheap smelling imagination inspo but this really is the best one by far in my opinion second surprisingly is zaras take on it (marwa smells too cinnamony for my prefernce but doesnt stink by all means) and hawas kobra smells the highest quality by a mile with the most bright almost light smokey nature citrus and by that i mean the way it diffuses off skin. really packs a punch it beams off skin and it overpowered the other 3 fragrances i was sampling and i couldnt give this the credit it desrves. BEST fragrance ive smelled for the pricepoint 10/10

For all you imagination lovers . This is the strongest, most longest lasting and projecting clone there is. It’s not a 1 to 1 but no clone is. This is more tea/ginger heavy and spicy than the OG. I layer this with Aqua Dubai as that is more soapier heavy. What you get is basically Imagination on steroids that actually lasts. You cannot pick them apart.

Nuclear projection and longevity on the first 2 hours. Definitely a room filler for a freshie. Short story: I hiked for 8 hours continuously while wearing this and its still on my skin at the 8th hour even after excessive sweating all-day. I also found out that if I wore this on normal office days, it stays on my clothes for 24 hours or so and 12 hours on my skin and I'm not even kidding. Beast mode projection (not nuclear anymore) on the 3rd hour to 5th hour mark on my skin and I have high body heat. After that, projection becomes moderate with good sillage. For context, I live in a tropical country so this is based on my own experience. I don't know if its just my bottle but I've also discovered that if I used this as a gym fragrance and then showered and scrubbed after, the base notes still linger on my skin even after excessive scrubbing. I scrub everytime I shower, and if I don't go to the gym and I showered 6 hours after spraying this on my skin, the scent is still there. The other reviews are true tho. The musk is overpowering and I experience olfactory fatigue if I spray more than 5 times with this. Not headache-inducing but the olfactory fatigue is definitely there. Its an 8/10 for me. I don't like (and almost hate) how the musk is so overpowering and fatigue-inducing. Besides that, this shit is a good buy.

I really wanted to like it but after 3 months of letting it mature I realize there's no point. I think my nose is super sensitive to musk making this smell like a wet cat covered in baby powder. There's a few hints of soapiness and tea but after the initial citrus blast the Musk overpowers everything. If I really had to be generous, this fragrance is just meh. Didn't get me compliments, but that usually means you smell inoffensive. Not amazing, not horrible, but just okay. Not blind buy safe.

Fantastic freshie!! This has great longevity and projects unlike Marwa, Aqua Dubai, and the rest of the dupes. Although I do think Mazaaj Infused smells the best, in terms of imagination dupes I'm going with Kobra. That clean soapy tea scent just last. Marwa is a close 2nd.

This is a more ginger-heavy, slightly spicier take on the Imagination DNA. Less sweet, soapy and tea-smelling compared to Imagination or Marwa. As it dries down, it comes closer to the aforementioned fragrances but is still less ambery. In terms of accuracy to the OG, I'd put this behind Marwa and Game of Spades, which is pretty solid especially when coupled with its performance. Longevity for me isn't the best, I get 5-6 hours on skin before it disappears. My particular bottle of Marwa — which I've had for 5 months now lasts 8 hours on skin, and longer on clothes. Maybe this improves for Kobra as well, with time and maturation. Projection however, is easily stronger on Kobra. Overall, if you want a stronger projecting iteration of this DNA that manages to remain close to the OG, then this is probably your best bet. ✅Good

It is simply..... AMAZING. Probably one of the freshest frags i have ever tried, a top fresh frag in my book it is not only perfect for summer but it is an all year rounder, i have no idea why people vote less for winter, i feel like this can be good for the colder seasons as well. Exceptional longevity almost 9-12 hours, you can wear this any time of the day or night, any occasion, any event, dates, whenever. Sillage is amazing very strong and LOUD which i love and i prefer these type of fragrances, strong and loud it gives you that confidence you need to start up your day. For that kind of price you will get one of the best fresh frags for all year round use, but in my opinion do not buy it right away let it settle on skin or paper and think about it for a day or two if you want but nonetheless a very good fragrance the performance is amazing on this. For gender? it is a men's fragrance c'mon haha, it's not a problem for a women to spray it but idk it's just weird even thinking about it. Verdict: Think it this way: you spray it, smell it and as if you are in a luxury hotel room, a clean room then you ask the portier for a tea and that tea smells so good that you feel better, you boost up for the day giving you the confidence you need for your business meeting, meeting with friends or meeting with the lady you love the most. Overall: 9/10. Why 9/10 you say? It is loud which i need in a fragrance but the performance does not exceed 12+ hours which i am disappointed but nonetheless amazing fragrance.

One of the strongest, and long lasting scents I have in my collection, the projection on this is nuts! INCREDIBLY citrus-y. Sweet citrus to be exact, this is made for the summer heat. 1-2 sprays max, it can be incredibly strong and headache inducing, but if that's your thing, this is right up your alley. A really good fragrance for decent pricing.

Probably my all time favourite fresh scent in my collection, 100% go to for performance and compliments, in the dna of Marwa and imagination and i love it 😊 bergamot, ginger with a beautiful dry down what's not to love, emptied one bottle and have 3 more stacked up, its that good! Kobra is king 10/10

I absolutely love this one. I have tried Marwa and that one is a skin scent quite quickly, not much of a performer. I have also tried Lattafa Art I, and that one altough very pleasing, it was a bit stronger on the citrus for me, one could almost pick up a lemongrass smell. Kobra however is my favourite so far. Very intense, strong, long lasting, versatile.

I'd place this in the category fresh, daily wear. It has a very fresh opening, and I get the hints of ginger and green tea. As of now I cannot already say if this perfume has a good sillage but for the smell I'll give it a 7,5/10.
