Cherry Ambition

My gosh, this is sexy. Dark, juicy cherry with a heavy dose of leathery saffron and slightly smoky frankincense.

I’m getting a headache just thinking about this one. Couldn’t wash it off fast enough.

A confident gourmand. I can see many points of view on this one, I could see someone saying it has a cough syrup element, there are synthetic elements there. The cherry itself wasn't complex on my skin, but the other components with it are more symphonic. It's somehow bright, somehow enigmatic. Complex and simple at the same time, somewhat whimsical; if Tim Walker (whimsical Surreal photographer) was a perfume. It's seven year old me, putting on my mother's heels and lipstick on Christmas Day. Occassion: A Whimsical Event, Day, Night, Festive Occasions, Summer and Spring.

Unfortunately this scent doesn't work on my skin. Amber is all what I can smell

Ambery, feminine, warm, and seductive. Very sexy, but a little too ambery for my tastes.

I was given a sample and just knew I'd hate it. But hate it I did not. Although the opening smelled like the air freshener they spray at the car wash, in the dry down it relaxed into a very alluring, refined smoky cherry with a hint of Arabian influence. She's pretty while being sultry. However, I am not moved enough to buy a full bottle.

The cherry perfume for people who like fresh, happy fragrances. Cherry Bouquet by Afnan is more sour and middle eastern-spicy, making it feel warmer. This one, by comparison, is a clean, bright, fresh, and juicy cherry fragrance. Not at all cough-syrupy. If you’re looking for a dark, heavy, seductive, date-night cherry, this is not your cup of tea. But if fresh fragrances are your jam, this is one of the best out there.

I always love the way 7 Virtues perfumes smell on test strips at Sephora, but for some reason they get so cheap and perfume-y on my skin. I have a hard time wearing this one. It's not a pure cherry scent, but it still leans pretty artificial. Like dried flowers, it's kind of a stiff and powdery scent rather than a juicy, fresh one. It's the sort of thing that, when I wear it, I worry about it bothering other people around me because it is very obviously perfume-y. I wish I liked it because it lasts well! It also gets points for not just being straight-up cough syrup. It is definitely layered and interesting. Probably my personal taste getting in the way, but it just smells cheap when it's trying hard to be mature.

This might be my favorite cherry perfume. It's definitely a darker sexy cherry perfume rather than flirty and super juicy. The cherry itself and the marshmallow make it delicious and edible but the spices give it a dark edge! The orris also adds a softness! Love this!! 9/10

I haven't seen it stated in previous reviews, however my sample tester is giving me Paris Corner Khair Confection vibes. Cherry Ambition smells good, and has decent performance, but it may be too mass appealing to some, lacking unique qualities.

A little bit on the medicinal side for me. Still pleasant tho!

Ugh I tried it a few times now and I'm convincing myself to get a bottle. One of the first cherries I've ever liked but it's slightly sweeter than what I wear as I tend to lean more towards leather and incense (Cherry Punk). But I just got another tester and I think I'm getting myself a travel size this fall. It's such a pretty cherry. So boozy, warm and sweet and covered in marshmallow. And I just noticed Saffron note in this, which sometimes can smell a bit leathery to people, and perhaps, my nose enjoys this nuance in here because I love Saffron in my fragrances :)

I liked this way more than I was expecting, probably because it doesn’t really smell like cherry! Instead it’s a spicy, smoky, wintry scent. Smells almost like a Christmas market - spices, smoke, incense, vanilla… it also has a slightly exotic character.

Seven Virtues perfumes are very hit or miss for me. Vanilla Woods smelled amazing in the vial, but horrible on me. Cherry Ambition is the opposite (not that it smells bad in any way by itself). This smells like pure incense to me, with a bit of cherry. I wouldn't have used "Cherry" in the name, unless it was called Cherry Incense or something. Not very fruity, not fire smoky or spicy either. Just dry incense smoke. Normally I would run from this description. However it smells amazing on me. Forever love that these perfumes are vegan and not tested on animals too.

Cherry def smells real, frankincense throwing me off 💀

One of the best cherry fragrance. Bright, fresh cherry. No "middle eastern" spiciness. The pink flowers support the cherry note, making it richer and not "boring" without taking away from the cherry or making it dark/ heavy. Clean cherry. Love this very much.

This is a TRUE sweet cherry fragrance and one of my favs. Great lasting power and one of the reasons I lvoe it sm. Almost nothing lsats on me except this, and I even get compliments, which is impressing considering usually perfume has zero longevity on me. I will also say the cherri-ness becomes less extreme after a little bit, and once sprayed its very innoffensive imo. Its a sweet cherry but smells almost like a cherry pie with cinnamon to me. 10/10

I have to admit this: Cherry Ambition is better than Kayali's LBC. I’ve tested both of them and this one completely stole my heart. Also, this isn't just another cloying, syrupy sweet scent. Here, at the beginning you can smell a beautiful, juicy, and incredibly ripe cherry, then it twists and weaves brilliantly with an incense. This combination creates an amazing effect, on one hand, you get that fruity sweetness, while on the other, you can clearly feel a smokiness and a certain intriguing edge. The fragrance has something dark yet incredibly cozy about it. It’s perfect for evenings or cooler days. When it comes to performance, the longevity is around 6 hours with moderate projection on my skin.

This is a killer (unisex, IMO) cherry fragrance. I've been on the hunt lately, first trying out: House of Cosmo Crimson Aura - solid profile and great performance, however something about the red wine note throws me off slightly, but, this turned me on to cherry-based fragrances as a whole, (8.5/10) then, Fine'ry Not Another Cherry from Target - great profile, love the brighter tart cherry feel to this one, maybe slightly synthetic, so-so performance, (8/10) then, Lost Cherry - a bit dark, more complex than Not Another Cherry, but cherry note fades pretty quickly, and also even worse performance (disappointing), (7/10) more recently, BDK Rouge Smoking Extrait - really great, darker and more complex, sits a bit closer to the skin but the overall profile and longevity are great. (8.5/10) Now, Cherry Ambition - I think (?) pending a few wear tests this could be the one - brighter and bolder, slightly sweeter profile compared to Lost Cherry / Rouge Smoking, pronounces itself a bit more off skin. Initially on the opening, it might come off the slightest bit synthetic, but that settles really quickly into a deeper, rich pure dark cherry scent. It's fantastic and especially considering the price point, so far it's a winner for me! I have a handful more decants on the way (ATH Raw Cherry Extreme, City Rhythm DC, Sospiro Maraschino), so may update this in the future.

Cherries, in a church

I wanna slap someone this is so good. I ordered a travel size intended for the colder months, and on this warm spring (almost summer) evening I still ended up spraying it when it arrived just to smell it. It smells so damn good.

Beautifully done bursting, ripe summer dark cherries. I prefer the strawberry notes in the strawberry jam fragrance from this line but this is my 2nd favorite and I may need a bottle of this a little later. My idea is to layer it with montale chocolate greedy to get a chocolate covered cherry effect and add some darker notes. If you are craving cherry scents this is a must have. It gives very dark wine colored cherries vibes, like a burgundy velvet texture to the scent..lovely. For some reason I get old timey pipe tabacco from this but that works for me. Agree with the review that mentions it becomes incense like also.

This is the PERFECT cherry, in my opinion! It starts out deep, juicy cherry and dries down into a cherry incense.

I am a huge fan of orris/iris in perfumes but I do not like cherry so I smelled it in store, and wasn't sure about it one me, I sprayed it and went home. As it settled, I loved it more and more. The feeling I get is more of an evening date night, it is powdery and musky but u do get the vanilla and even the marshmallow to give it a sweet creamy background. It kind of reminds me a little bit of ellis brooklyn vanilla sin, not exactly because this is a little bit on the creamy sweet side but they both give off the same sexy evening vibes.

Liked the cherry note at first because it is much more of a warm complex scent. Honestly after a few wears it began to hurt my head the scent smells very syrupy and medicine like.

I've always found that Kayali Lovefest Burning Cherry was OK, but had a musty undertone, like the smell of an old trunk in the attic. This, I find, is very, very similar to Lovefest, but not musty, so I prefer it. I did just pick it up in the spring, however, and I think this is more of a fall/winter scent. I think It would really come ALIVE in the cold.

This is one of those fragrances that I initially didn’t like much and then ended up absolutely loving, so much so that I used an entire bottle in about 6 weeks. I developed a sudden cherry obsession out of nowhere and wanted something that would satisfy my craving while also being slightly different to the many cherry/almond scents out there. This is her. My initial dislike was due to the saffron which I have also had issues with in other fragrances. I’m not sure if it quietened down as I got through the bottle or whether my nose just adjusted but somewhere along the line I started loving the fragrance and actually enjoying the saffron note. Now I crave this fragrance. It’s made me want to try other fragrances where saffron was previously an issue for me. It’s a perfect blend of fun and carefree while also being grown up, sophisticated and more complex. A sweet, smoky cherry and spicy saffron with this smooth, clean, slightly powdery base and a touch of fluffy marshmallow. I love that it’s a clean product. Love the whole manifesting/ambition theme too. I just love it.

I'm Not usually into cherries but i LOVR this one! Beautiful cherry fragrance with a marshmallow pop. I get about 3-4 hours of decent projection..... I wish it stayed stronger, longer. But I don't mind reapplying because it's a lovely, cozy, cherry fragrance.

As someone who owns a 2020 formulation of Lost Cherry. Has sampled and thoroughly tested or decluttered Boadicea, Wrap Me in Dreams, Wet Cherry, Electric Cherry, Cherry Smoke, ect. This is beautiful. I blind bought Dancing Roses because it was raved about cherry rose combo. None has anything on this. Plus its a clean brand, cost freaking $80????? I didn't think I liked this brand after thinking the vanilla was boring. This new phase is excellent! I sampled in store and fell in love but I thought it was too good to be true. This is so beautiful! Its a better version of the who redundant version. People will try to down play this and find little differences. Its only because its a "cheapie" and they don't want to feel a way because they paid $600+ for the same thing. 😅 Even Tonka Sarrapia, Imperiale and all of those.

Now this is a cool girl scent. Total rocker girl: magnetic, self-assured, and BOLD!!!! The top is a rush of juicy, syrupy cherry accompanied by a dark, mysterious, smoky incense nuance and a fluffy marshmallow cloud. The peppercorn adds a rebellious bite right away: bright, spicy, invigorating. Once reaching the heart, it becomes much more delicate and light. Cherry blossom creates a clean and soft effect, while orris adds a gorgeous powdery haze. I get hints of saffron as well lending an airy nature to the florals. Once dried it becomes a wonderful vanilla: creamy, smooth, fnishing with a touch of musk and amber.
