Soleil Neige

Liked this a lot at first; it’s very pretty, with some nicely different twang from the carrot, but the dry down is pretty much fancy sunscreen, which is disappointing. I wish the notes that make this different lasted longer.

The initial opening is a floral and citrus scent that has a muskyness coming from the Carrot Seed note. 15 Min - I am still picking up on some of the florals, but the Musk is definitely the dominante scent right now. 30 Min - Still getting a floral and musck scent from the fragrance. 60 Min - The muskyness has settled and the fragrance has transitioned into a very nice white floral scent profile with some undertones of Vanilla. Dry Down: The fragrance dries down into a soft floral scent with undertones of musk and vanilla. Projection really drops after about 90 minutes. Performance: Projection of this fragrance is Fair with the frangrance creating a scent bubble of about 18 inches for about 90 minutes. The sillage is also Fair with a scent trail of about 2 feet for about 90 minutes. Longevity is fair with the fragrance lasting on my skin about 4 to 5 hours, but becoming a skin scent at about 2.5 hours. This is a great layering fragrance.

It might not have the note, but it really smells like salmiakki/salty licorice to me, just a bit more flowery.

You can smell the white flowers and citrus very clearly. As it dries down the scent becomes softer and a very light non sweet vanilla emerges. Its fresh and easy to like. For some reason i cant explain this fragrance reminds me of the virgin suicides. It feels like this is how the girls would smell. Its not a melancholic fragrance yet it somehow makes me feel that way.

Soleil Neige is a fresh, elegant floral-citrus fragrance with a surprisingly versatile character. Bright citrus notes, white florals, orange blossom, and jasmine are softened by musky notes, benzoin, vanilla, and a touch of labdanum. The result feels airy, slightly powdery, and gently warm without becoming sweet, tropical, or sunscreen-like. What I enjoy most is its balance. It feels like a "cool summer" fragrance that works just as well in other seasons. Easy to dress up or down, elegant without trying too hard. Beautiful and very wearable, even if it doesn't feel particularly unique.

Very nice comforting skin scent that would be appropriate anywhere. I don't get unisex though. It smells very feminine to me. This one is new to me but I could see it growing... Like some scents have before..... Around my sensory receptors.... And attaching roots...... Then blooming.... Into luscious white "me" flowers. For anyone close to me to enjoy also.

this smells exactly like a "high profile sense of sharp and clean" got it recommended by two different sales advisors in completely different beauty shops recently. it's definitely a crisp scent and that's amazing. I would definitely buy one for the man in my life, without a doubt a fragrance that will impress as a gift to be received. I think it leans slightest bit more masculine than feminine. a mostly sharply dressed, model like man would be a great profile to match with this scent. that is the visual it gives me great as a gift option if you have anyone in your life that'd be worth your Tom Ford money personally, I didn't feel the pull to get myself a bottle. but it's definitely worth all the hype

I like certain citrus formulations, but mostly I'm not a big fan of really any citrus. This is one of those ones that I really don't like unfortunately. It just makes me think of a citronella candle covered in bug spray.

I really liked the top notes of this but 10 minutes later, it turned bad on me. After it settled, I was left with a musky vanilla. So different from the initial crisp, citrus scent.

I tested this perfume years ago and i felt like i wasn't ready for this kind of scent, although it kept lingering in my thoughts. Today i went to the store tried it again and i knew i had to get it 😍 not an ounce of regret. So worth it. It smells fresh on my skin, feels like spring and you're walking in the park in the afternoon under the sun with the cool wind breeze .i love this scent. I think this will be my signature scent.

I was principally interested in the carrot seed note in Soleil Neige and I find it hard to pick up. Nonetheless, this is a really lovely fragrance that manages to be both wintry and bright à la Isola Snow. In fact, it’s quite similar to Isola Snow. It’s not a super unique DNA, but it’s done really well.

My first TF fragrance! When i first got a sample of this, i didn't like it as much, thought it felt like a floral but very barbershop vibe. But by the time i finished the sample, i was in love.... Very classy and elegant. I find it better than the new re-release, was able to secure a 30ml :)

I used to judge ppl who says about a perfume that it smells like piss lol i never took them seriously i just thought they r overreacting, but guess what? Here i am writing a review about this one just to say it smells like piss on me 🤣 i just can’t stand it.

Orange blossom and jasmine opening with rich, sweet, amber and benzoin notes. There’s a sharp fizziness to the opening and a certain brightness. Cozy and intriguing. This reminds me of something from my past that I can’t put my finger on. An extremely faint play-doh quality (maybe from the vanilla + benzoin)? The white florals remind me slightly of Armani Code for women, but there’s no honey or sandalwood quality in this. I get no rose. When I smell this, I kind of imagine a sunny day with snow that’s twirling in the air from a snowdrift. The light is glinting off it and the air stings a little, but the sun feels warm on your face too. That’s sort of the vibe I get, despite it being white florals which are in no way wintery on their own. Despite this being the image that comes to mind, I think it can be worn any season. Dry down is so lovely. Resinous, cozy, and warm; no snow, only a blanketed cuddle in a cabin. When I focus, I think I get the carrot seeds because there’s a warmth and earthiness that I can’t ascribe to anything else. I’d give a 7 or 8 out of 10. If I was gifted this I would be a happy camper.

I didn’t like it… until I did I have to admit, I didn't like this perfume at first. One spritz on my wrist, and I almost sneezed - that sharp bergamot opening felt like a snowball smacked me straight in the face. It was summer, I was in a beachy mood, so I filed it away as "nothing special" and moved on. Honestly, where was my nose back then? This winter, out of nowhere, I felt a sudden craving to smell Soleil Neige again. My inner voice whispered, "Don't you want to feel like a fluffy snowdrift covered in a silvery crust of bergamot frost?" I reached for my sample and… everything changed. Now? I want to smell like this all the time. I want to bathe in it. I want it to sink into my bones - I even wear it to bed 🤭 Since the original fragrance was discontinued, I rushed to grab a decant while I still could. And spoiler: I've tried the new reformulation too (the one with a simplified pyramid), and it's actually very close - just a touch fresher, more bergamot-forward, and a bit "younger" in character. So, what does this icy dream actually smell like? Soleil Neige is Tom Ford's winter spin on solar fragrances. If Soleil Blanc is a tropical sunny beach, Neige is blinding Alpine slopes glittering under a cold, razor-sharp winter sun. For me, it's all about contrast. That tingling, frosty effect (how did they even pull that off?!) created by bergamot and delicate musks in the opening softens into an opalescent glow of creamy white florals as the fragrance unfolds. I catch hints of premium sunscreen, salty mineral water, and a box of handmade vanilla marshmallows. The drydown brings a warm, intimate feeling: benzoin and soft resins wrapping around you like a fluffy mohair sweater woven with threads of sunlight. It feels a little distant and reserved, yet incredibly refined, lingering for about five hours with a solid two-meter sillage. This must be exactly how the Snow Queen smells after stepping out of a mother-of-pearl bubble bath. Simply divine ❄️🤍

I wore this out a few times, it smells amazing, but it seems as though it is a little too feminine for my taste and i tend to like unisex fragrances. This is not a scent i'd want someone to associate me with. Women really seem to like this however, i had a few women follow me around in closed-spaces when i wore this out. But I doubt i'll be reaching for this again.

To whoever said this smells like a TF version of Love's Baby Soft, OMG you are 100% correct. That is why this feels so familiar.

My first experience with this perfume happened when if was freshly launched, I got the sample in local NM and was pretty disappointed. I had a whiff of the cashmere sweater, that was actively worn for a weeks.. you know that smell of a deodorant protected garment, that is still not fresh. Sample lived in the sample box all these years. I'm having the gourmand era right now, but this weekend I sprayed new addition of this perfume and it's so beautiful!!! I ordered it but while I'm waiting I use my old sample. And you know what's interesting- IT HAS THE EFFECT of SPACE, AERIAL PERSPECTIVE, when you stand on a mountain and see into the distance. I don't know how they reached this effect, but that's how I feel. It's a story, feeling... Very unusual and interesting- molecules come to the nose and you feel that something is happening in the world for a long time, you came to this earth and participate in this saga. I never had such a feeling, having a big collection of perfumes. PS: feels like fluffy, creamy white flowers, pretty mature in good way, definitely musky. It lasts pretty long. Small amount (1 spray, far from the nose) is much better, it needs space.

This fragrance has such a lovely opening - it’s cool, fresh and citrusy with hints of musk and with the carrot seeds adding an interesting warm, vegetal note. It then dries down to become a sweet, lemony, creamy, musky vanilla. I think this is my favourite Tom Ford fragrance but I do wish the lovely, unusual opening would hang around for more than five minutes. I get the sense of bright, cold snow in the opening but this disappears in the dry down - it becomes a nice, warm, sweet and fluffy fragrance with a hint of citrus. It’s like coming in out of the snow into a warm country kitchen in a cottage surrounded by a snow covered orchard, to a freshly baked lemon meringue pie on the old wooden kitchen table.

I own a full-bottle of this. it smells like a very floral-heavy bar of soap to me, the scent reminiscent of something like a Dove Beauty Bar. It smells pretty designer as well, this might be the most designer-esque smelling fragrance that I've smelled from Tom Ford. That's not to say it doesn't smell nice, it smells pretty great, with a fresh and clean vibe. maybe it's a touch too feminine rather than unisex, but I think most men can get away with this. I can't wait to wear this out for the winter. I would rate it a 9/10, it's pretty excellent and very well-priced, definitely an underrated find.

am i being gaslit or?? the most generic, synthetic, and boring thing i've ever smelled like where is the snow, the rose, the freshness, the powdered sugar... it's just a bouquet of white flowers. a dated, old-fashioned, and painfully generic bouquet of white flowers. wow.

This perfume is so perfectly named because it doesn't smell any better to me than on a cold, crisp day. I've worn this in all seasons and there is something about the winter climate that really brings this fragrance to life. The benzoin and labdanum are blended seamlessly, adding such wonderful warmth and depth to this fragrance while managing not to be heavy and oppressive. The floral notes, while beautiful, are not the focus then, but I don't care because those two notes really make this fragrance for me. In the warmer months the floral notes are more prominent, along with the bergamot and vanilla, but there is also something that smells a little like a tobacco note that I don't particularly care for. It's also a little benzoin heavy then which makes it feel oppressive in the heat. I think it is more a combination of the notes and how they play out in warmer temps, because I get nothing like that now. It really is a gorgeous fragrance and my favorite out of the Soleil line. It performs phenomenally too, where only a few sprays last all day, surrounding me in a lovely cocoon of fragrance. I really, really love this. I am so happy this has been reissued. I just hope what is selling today smells the same as what I have now. I am curious about one thing though. How in heaven's name has Nina Ricci's Luna Blossom shown up in the This Reminds Me section? Is that a joke? This smells nothing like that. That smells like a fruity shampoo scent, which this most definitely is not.

I register a lot of amber in this one. It actually reminds me of a casual, laid back version of MFK Grand Soir. Purchased a travel size, so far, I'm really enjoying it 👌🏼

Do not mistake this fragrance as a simple one. This one is well blended enough to come off as simple, but all of the notes work extremely well together. Wouldn’t add anything to it. My 2021 bottle smells perfect.

Was buying Oud Voyager when the lovely TF rep gave me a sample of Soleil Neige which to be frank hadn't been on my radar. Just applied some and wow, it is clean, comforting and very addictive. To @acearmstrong I understand it is coming back as one of TF's signature range, which should not only keep it available, but make it cheaper! Good news. I'll be going back for a bottle.
