Smells like Nivea blackberry shine lipbalm

I've been using this perfume for quite a few years now and wouldn't change it. I mix it with other brands but it's my favourite for daily use. Price is really good considering it's longevity and the fact it can be worn during any season. Absolutely recommend!

This is a pretty fragrance, but just a tad bit too basic. I think the vinyl note is coming off as a synthetic soapy/shampoo scent? It's a bit odd but not bad. The violet note is potent, powdery and soft - just like parma violet sweets. Parisienne doesn't give off a French vibe to me though, but more like an English rose garden I like it though. It's girly, sweet and safe

my bottle has started to turn, I think. Still a very beautiful airy-yet-sexy floral. The vinyl note is playful. I want YSL Paris, now.

Rose and peony but more like they have been painted in acrylics than sheared from the garden. Then come the nail polish and acetone and hairspray. This is Mom's calfskin blazer that you spilled red wine on, and smoked a cigarette in, and then tried to cover with a spritz of febreeze. Mom doesn't mind much though, because the chilly and wet spring breeze on Sunday morning blends Saturday's youthful partying smells into the grime of the cityscape, and adds a piquant accompaniment to her morning tea. Urban? Hell yes. Parisienne? Definitely one side of Paris, yes. Edit: the bottle design hits all the right notes, too. City of lights, with street lights reflecting red and pink off the spring rain in puddles.

I don't understand why this fantastic fragrance didn't score more points. This is so feminine, not heavy, not light, just perfect as it should be! It couldn't be better, and it's romantic too.

This is a nice perfume for sunny summer days. I really don't smell the peony, but it has a sweet youthful scent.

Анонім★★★★★

I like it! Testing it makes me think of YSL Mon Paris but it’s been awhile since I’ve had that perfume so I don’t have it on hand to compare. I’m getting a lychee vibe from Parisienne but not seeing that note listed hmm

Non mi è piaciuto. Frizzantino, frutti di bosco,ma dopo poco rimane acidulo. Mi apsettavo qualcosa di fine come il vecchio Paris ma purtroppo qui la modernità ha colpito e Parisienne mi piace poco.

Rose, berries, and a hint of melted Barbie heels on hot asphalt. And somehow… I love it?

When I was a teenager, a little less than 15 years ago, I was obsessed with Paris. I had romanticized the shit out of the already romanticized city, and I wanted to live the rest of my life there. I had been gifted a perfume I didn't like and I went to change it. The bottle design and name struck my attention, and I bought this. I liked it but it felt too heavy for my age and style. It was the time of Lanvin's Marry Me. I still wore it rarely, every New Year's Eve. A wave of nostalgia struck me recently and I kept thinking about it. I ordered 50ml from the best dupe shop in Greece and I fell in love. It smells identical and feels just right. I can now appreciate the fluffy rose, the fruit and the vinyl. It feels nostalgic in a way that doesn't hurt, probably because I hadn't connected it to many memories. If you find it and smell it (not blind buy appropriate), grab it. It's one of a kind.

my sister owns this perfume, and i had never smelled it before until someone mentioned that it reminded them of a specific barbie movie, which piqued my interest because that barbie movie was a part of my childhood and it was actually my sister's favorite barbie movie!!! the vinyl scent on the bottle is a little strong and made me nervous to spray it, but when i did, it smells amazing; it's fruity floral, but on my nose it leans more toward floral. a literal violet heaven, it's such a beautiful scent.

I still don‘t get it why the heck YSL decided to discontinue one of their best selling fragrances?!

Анонім★★★★★

Not your typical powdery violet , the violet here is rather aquatic , the collab with peony makes it even airier .. the light florals are garnished with fruity notes mostly cranberry , its very appetizing The vinyl note here isnt bothering me , i think it adds a "squeaky" touch like a clean vinyl surface making this aquatic violet even cleaner ! I dont mean they r similar , but can be classified in same category as guerlain's insolence .. insolence is more powdery while pariessiene is fruitier , it also can be cousin of lancome la vie est belle l'elixir 2024 Color , bottle and name are as chic and delightful as the scent itself .. like an image of carefree young blonde parisienne strolling around seine river in a summer afternoon indeed! Moderate longevity and projection

This was gifted to me when I was 17 and it was and always will be one of my favorites. It’s posh and flirty. Coquettish. It reminds me of watching sex and the city and gossip girl at the same time. It’s almost a coming of age fragrance in a way? It’s fresh and youthful with an elevated poshness that adds some sophistication. It’s for a young woman who lives in a big city and loves to wear her Manolos and knows the best dinner spots to take friends. It’s for a chic young woman, is the perfect way to describe it. I love the way it peppers the nose with the right amount of musk and sweetness. It’s not heavy or cloying but it’s very much satiating to the olfactory senses.

I went through a few bottles of this back in the day. Barbie and the Rockers - violets, roses and vinyl. Unfortunately, one day this leaked in a suitcase and the dreaded patchouli was all I could smell. The suitcase, its contents, and the rest of the bottle of this went in the bin. Just writing this, I can smell it now and I feel like a need a shower.

One of my favourite fragrances. I love the rose and violet notes. I don't get the vinyl note personally, but I love it all the same. It's a shame she's been discontinued.

I’ll never forget smelling this for the first time. My beautiful friend who I hadn’t seen for awhile came over and I immediately asked her what she was wearing. Sure enough it was Parisienne and I immediately bought a bottle. A really gorgeous, somewhat complex floral with vinyl notes, and this made me fall in love with vinyl! When it’s done well, it’s phenomenal.

Анонім★★★★★

Oh Parisienne! Why does it have to be so weak! I have the 90ml bottle and it goes down so quickly! Even when I spray it on my clothes! Plus it's getting discontinued - is getting harder to find it, and the cost went up... I wish there was a niche dupe for it, I'm hearing good things about Lipstick Rose... The smell itself is gorgeous, it opens up with cranberry and blueberry, then the succulent rose and violet at heart, and it finishes with sandalwood and some musk. Lancôme Trésor by Midnight is supposed to be a dupe which I also own but that one ends up smelling like Armani Diamonds on me. Synthetic raspberries and nothing else. Parisienne in comparison is classy, sophisticated and just lush smelling. Mesmerising, really. Reminds of a lipstick, a make-upy scent with it's powdery violet and rose notes. I wonder if when it first came out, whether or not the fragrance wasn't more long lasting. A classmate from 10-th grade wore it so beautifully that I had to splurge years later! In a few words - wonderful concoction but the longevity is poor. 🌹😥

Very make-up-y. All things pretty. Syrupy, candied rose with a powdery, meteorites-like violet, watered down. It’s a cool older sister scent. A cousin you looked up to when you were little who went on to study design in London. Her room with Victoria Secret strip wallpaper and a leirvik bed you’re not supposed to touch anything in. I have a soft spot for its corniness: sweet rose-violets, "Parisienne", Kate Moss with side bangs and a messy bun. I had a hot pink bedazzled Eiffel towel model when I was little, something along these lines.... TBH I love this too much for what it is. It’s nothing groundbreaking. It’s in that line of “lipstick” fragrances of which there are A LOT and this is far from its best. "Vinyl" did promise some edginess but I can’t really distinguish what here is supposed to register as such. The overall hair-sprayness of the start? And some actual Parisians have had a terrible day because of this when it was launched, I'm sure. But it is pleasant, has really cool roses in it and I feel pretty in it so ¯_(ツ)_/¯ don’t think I need a full bottle of this though. This is just not a perfume meant to be hunted down for twice its original price, it’s something that should be bought in store fresh during an after uni walking trip to Sephora as pre exam stress relief. Parisienne got discontinued because…? Though I think we all can live without it even if I'm a bit sad about admitting that. But just a little bit. A relic of late 00s gallomania spike.

Анонім★★★★★

Floral floral floral. I had a small sample and could only get two wearings out of it, but my impression is that it's just a typical bouquet of flowers. No fruity notes to me; I can smell the "makeup bag" kind of scent if I really look for it. Not sure if it's really there or if I'm just convincing myself based on the reviews of others. Frederic Malle's Lipstick Rose is a better execution of that concept.

I found Parisienne EDP on a second hand webstore at a great price. I hadn't tried it before, but was interested enough to blind buy it. Being so late to the Parisienne party, it reminds me of later scents such as Black Perfecto EDP and especially Black Perfecto Florale EDT by Guerlain. Where BP and BPF start with a sour candied cherry note Parisienne instead leads with a tart raspberry blast (noted as blackberry and cranberry). The following dried roses are similar enough in all three, whereas the vinyl in Parisienne is compared with a smokey note in BP and BPF. They are all both girly and mature at the same time: the fruity-flowery playfulness subdued by the smoky-vinyl haze. Parisienne is a bit sharp, especially in the opening, a chemical feel to it like scented erasors or coloured markers. There is not that much of a woodsy base on me, rather a creamy skin scent after an hour or so. Its predecessor Paris is detectable, which is fun and reminds me of my teenage years (although I was a Poison girl back then). I am not sure Parisienne suits me now either, not that age matters, but rather where I am in life at the moment. After work and then house work I apply it sparingly to become someone else for a while.

I received a sample of this back in 2011-2012 and I vividly remember getting complimented on it. It stuck with me because prior to this scent I was only wearing Lolita Lempicka and I had people tell me it smelled bad (it doesn’t, it’s my favorite). But YSL Parisienne smells so high-class it’s no wonder I was complimented for it. I just recently ordered a 1oz. bottle of the original EDP and it smells exactly as I remembered: cold, synthetic, posh, rich-bitch-energy. It smells exactly like the inside of my mom’s old makeup bag, with powdery cosmetic residue lining the bottom of the cheap plasticky zippered pouch. Don’t let the connotation of “cheap” make you think this is a cheap smelling fragrance—it’s the opposite. Have you ever been able to find a perfume that can replicate that exact smell? Probably not. It’s unique, and it elicits a very distinct memory. I think most girls/women can relate to the excitement and mystery of the first time they found their mom’s makeup stash, and how grown up it made you feel to dust a little powder on your cheeks with the plasticky brush that came in the compact. This scent is the olfactory celebration of when girlhood turns to womanhood, and you go from candy smelling children’s cosmetics to rosy and powdery smelling adult cosmetics. It embraces the unnatural scents women encounter every day when putting on their face, and the melancholic reality of no longer being a little girl. Not for everyone. If you like more natural smelling fragrances, this is NOT for you. It is truly a synthetic masterpiece. Such a shame it’s been permanently discontinued and substituted for the rancid floral mess that is Mon Paris.

I've worn this perfume since it came out in 2009 and it is still, to this day my most complimented scent. Everything about this perfume works perfectly with my skin chemistry and I'm so sad they discontinued this for Mon Paris. Parisienne smells girly, and innocent, yet, lurking under that good girl persona is a sexual seductress, who knows how to get what she wants. This is the “lady in the streets and a freak in the sheets” kind of perfume. You can easily wear this in the office, or spritz on before a night out on the town. It's a great perfume and I still can't get enough of it!

This used to be a love for me back when it was released, more than 10 yrs ago. I had 3 bottles of it. But now it gives me a headache and cannot stand it. Still, it's a beautiful take on berries and violet with a touch of plasticky note of vinyl. It felt luxurious and sophisticated, I hadn't smelled anything like it. Now it's too fruity sweet for me, just doesn't hit the same. I think it would work wonderfully on a young 20+ lady. PS: I remember another thing I loved about this: the bottle shape and size. I always had the 90ml , but I never found them uncomfortable to hold while spraying. For me it's a big deal:))

Анонім★★★★★

This smells nice, I like that I smell cranberry and rose notes. The only downfall is it not lasting long enough for me, it lasts about 4 hours. Parisenne is a pretty perfume and I am happy I got my hands on it. It wears well when layered making it lasts a bit longer , great for fall and spring.

Анонім★★★★★

It smells just like rose flavored Turkish delights. It’s sweet, fruity, sometimes a bit artificial because of the vinyl note.

Анонім★★★★★

This reminds me of my early 20s… Carefree, sparkling powdery fruits. Every night was a party and travelling to different city’s every other week. Life was one long vacation. It’s fruity and sweet but just the right amount of seduction and innocence of youth. I think this perfume bottle was the most sophisticated thing I owned in 2010… I tried it again the other day for the first time in years, and found it hideously sweet against my skin, but then it was definitely of its era. I wear libre now 🥰 but this perfume holds some fabulous memories and I will always treasure it.

Анонім★★★★★

This is what Barbie smells like. Sweet and fruity rose and violets, and that unusual plasticky vinyl note. Actually that threw me a bit when I first tried it, I couldn’t decide if I loved or hated the vinyl. But overall it’s a well blended perfume, and I think I actually really like it.

Анонім★★★★★

not worth the money; a nondescript fruity floral with no vinyl that I detect but a smoky vanilla; mainstream
