This one grew on me. The opening is quite spicy, but what I really enjoy is the drydown. It becomes much smoother and more pleasant on my skin. I’ve worn it in really hot weather and surprisingly it never felt annoying or too heavy. It still smells spicy and fresh enough to enjoy in the heat. For me the drydown is easily the best part. Overall around 7/10.

Big fan of this perfume. After smelling both this and Greenly side by side, I can confirm they are nearly identical. The original is a little "grassier" closer to Creed's Green Irish Tweed while this one is slightly sweeter. After a few minutes of smelling them together and going back and forth, they become extremely difficult to tell apart. I could easily be fooled by Aether. After trying this, I think it's hard to justify buying the PDM given the hundreds of dollars in price difference. Performance is just as good as the original and is particularly strong on clothes. The bottle, however, is pretty lame in my opinion, but who cares? 8.134/10

I’ve never smelled the original, but the descriptions I read online really caught my attention, so I was excited to give this one a try. Unfortunately, my first spray straight out of the box was extremely weak. It practically disappeared instantly, and I couldn’t really pick up any of the notes. I decided to set it aside and let it macerate. My original intention was to give it a full month, but after about a week, I got curious and decided to try it again—and the difference was noticeable. The opening now gives me a crisp green apple—definitely more of a fresh, slightly tart green apple rather than a ripe, sweet apple—along with cedar and moss. The apple fades fairly quickly, leaving behind a strong woody, earthy scent. Woodsy fragrances aren’t usually my favorite, but this one is still tolerable for me. Once I get past the two-hour mark, I start catching occasional whiffs of what I’ve heard described as that “green apple shampoo” scent. Interestingly, when I bring my wrist up and smell my skin directly, that apple-like scent becomes much more noticeable. I’m really starting to like this one. If the projection and overall performance continue to improve with more maceration, I have a feeling I’m going to really love it. And I have to mention the presentation—the bottle and the box are fantastic. Everything about the presentation feels well done. Presentation is a 10/10 for me.

starts out as an incredible herbal apple, but it quickly starts to smell like harsh, citrus toilet cleaner. if it smelt like the opening for 6h, it would be so easy to recommend. ill see after a month of maturation.,

Анонім★★★★★

Maybe it's my nose, but I get a strong blast of oakmoss and not a lot of the apple shampoo sweetness I see people talking about. It smells pretty nice, but very green and earthy, which I could see being very polarizing.

French Avenue Aether is probably the closest interpretation to greenley I have been able to find so far. I had a 10ml decant of Greenley, because the full bottle is simply too expensive for me to purchase. Held side by side on smell strips, it's almost scary how close the two are. First off presentation is top tier. The box is beautiful, the velour inside is gorgeous to look at and the bottle design is just a joy to see everytime I look at it, it's a comfortable bottle to hold and the cap, while stylish, is somewhat weirdly angular so you can only put it on one way. I feel like a bottle like this requires a magnetic cap. However there is a distinct difference, Aether when compared to PDM Greenley is distinctly more sweet, fruity and feels less "whole". It misses that gorgeous earthy dry down while still providing some amount of woodiness. The Green apple is present and overall its just a well blended, though somewhat sweet green scent in general. I've worn this to weddings, meetings, summer get togethers etc. Now where Aether falls apart for me is the perceived longevity. It's supposed to be an extrait de parfum. So i'd expect this scent to linger for quite a bit. Because Aether does not have that earthy, strong woody drydown that PDM Greenley has, you get noseblind to it VERY quickly. Which gives the idea that the scent just doesn't last long. Which is definitely not the case. I've had people ask what I wear 6-8hrs down the line on a hot summer day. The key here is apply somewhat heavy and let it sit before you go out. All in all i'd say Aether is a good 7/10 fragrance for anyone. Its a 9/10 fragrance when you're in love with Greenley, its just so SO close.

this really aint that good. extremely basic. can barely smell the scent. makes me wish I didn't waste my money and just spent the 400 dollars on PDM, which to me is the best house out next to Memo.

I won’t be purchasing this one again. The presentation is absolutely top-tier, the bottle is beautiful and easily one of the most stylish designs in my collection. Unfortunately, the fragrance itself doesn’t live up to that same standard. It doesn’t smell bad by any means, it’s actually quite pleasant. The problem is that it reminds me almost entirely of Irish Spring body wash. While that fresh, clean scent has its place, it’s not what I’m looking for in a fragrance. It lacks the character and uniqueness I was hoping for. It’s honestly such an unfortunate waste of what could have been an incredible artistic concept. The bottle is a true objet d’art, but the juice inside simply doesn’t justify the presentation.

i bough this as a greenley dupe and i get where it is coming from but, for me it smels kinda like a metrostation toilet if you know you know... not just something i would wear that much but could be layered with something else. i heard from some people that you should let it macerate but it hasen't worked for me personally. i like the apple scent still in this better than greenley but, would recomend buying something like Lattafa sherif. there is a creamy kinda scent that comes from the musk and cashmeran.

Анонім★★★★★

Extremely sharp green smell, reminds me of a urinal cake and hurts my head if I smell it for too long. It starts off very sour and ends up being a musky scent. The "green" reminds me of grass, a tiny bit of green apple, and lemon.

Анонім★★★★★

I’ve had a love-hate relationship for this fragrance, first few times spraying obviously I noticed the green apple shower gel scent reminding me of Irish Springs. I hated it and thought that it smelled better on clothes than it did on skin so I did not want to touch it for a while. I almost gave it away to my little brother. 2-3 months later, I come back to it again and noticed the difference from the first time I smelled it. I could really smell more of the cashmere and musk, which projected very smooth and creamy and at that moment I knew it was one of the ones that had to be macerated. For those who are interested in buying this fragrance, I would advise you to spray it a few times once you take it out of the box and don’t touch it for a while so your best bet is to get it during fall/winter to wear for spring and summer.

just a normal basic green scent, would be pretty good for school

Compared to my sample of Greenly I’m not sure why people say this is so close to the OG. It’s much more grassy not green apple, not as fresh, and very synthetic and screechy in the opening. The dry down gets a bit closer but still isn’t a 1:1. Disappointed with this blind buy even after letting it sit for months, I still wouldn’t wear it.

Анонім★★★★★

Okay. You know how people say FA Atlantis smells synthetic. I say this smells synthetic. I tried to like it but it just has that sharp synthetic background. I dont get that from FA Atlantis. I reach for it a lot more compared to this even though it's sweeter and not the best for 30C°+. I've let it sit and prayed and let it sit and sprayed. so far 3 months it still sucks. An apple shampoo and shower gel smell better. Maybe I got a bad batch or I'm more sensitive to some note they have in this.

Анонім★★★★★

Great take on the OG. It’s not really a clone. “Inspired by” is probably the best way to describe it. The woody notes are beautiful. If you mainly like the wood and citrus in the OG, get this one. If you care more about the fruity apple side, Lattafa Sherif is probably the better choice. Very nice nonetheless. As long as you’re not expecting insane longevity, depth, or a super complex note breakdown, you’ll probably love it. 7.5/10

This is a really high quality fragrance and is probably an accurate dupe of Greenley but it smells more like grass than green apple so its not for me. Can't be wearing cologne that makes me smell like i've been playing outside all day

Анонім★★★★★

It’s ok. Smells good. Unfortunately, it disappears within minutes of application. Average quality citrus green scent. Fine for work or a daily walk. Otherwise it’s quite lacklustre.

Анонім★★★★★

Update after a few months I think this is not worth it even given the price just save up and get the original. The quality just too low to be enjoyable, this is a light citrus wcent. You need to have a lot of details to enjoy it but there’s no details here just gives you a sketch on what it shouls smell like. I believe in those few ones, my nose matured and I no longer can enjoy most dupes even high-quality dupes like from FA. my experience I found thick and creamy fragrances can smell good even if the material is low quality, so most cases citrus will not have a good quality Also, I usually don’t care about performance, but this one becomes skim scent. Right upon application. Dull, flat, low quality, weak 2/10

Анонім★★★★★

This is a great fragrance. Very calming and I think everyone would like this scent profile. I have seen many reviews complaining about the performance of the fragrance, but I think the problem is not with the juice itself but the atomizer! The atomizer in this has issues, it spreads the juice like a mist and not directional. What this does, is that the juice spreads around unevenly. The solution for this at the moment, is to spread the juice close to oneself. I did this and the smell lasted for 12h even after a shower, from a just opened bottle even without the required maturation! French Avenue needs to fix this on newer batches. Atlantis Extrait doesn't have this issue at all.

Анонім★★★★★

Its ok dont reach for it much. Wouldnt buy again

Анонім★★★★★

Excellent perfume, but unfortunately extremely poor projection!!! I'm really sad about that. It lasts literally 1 hour. Shame

Анонім★★★★★

Differences I get with OG on strip More -fresh zingy -bright -fruity Less -spicy -woody -dark ambery

This is the first Middle East dupe fragrance that I've noted requires maturation out of the box. The first couple of wearings smelled only of cedar chips, honestly reminded me of cedar pet bedding from having hamsters as a child. I could not make out any green apple, citrus, or musk and was initially disappointed. It needed to sit for 2-3 weeks to develop the apple/citrus bodywash notes which definitely add much needed complexity to the experience. The cedar note is still the most prominent and dominates from open to close, so you definitely have to want that. I'd characterize it as a tart fruity, woody, musky scent with moderate projection and longevity. Unlike probably most fragrance enthusiasts, I don't want to be smelled from across the room and radiate from the pores for 12+ hours so the sillage and longevity is about right for a fresh green scent to me. It's masculine, has no sweetness to speak of for others to potentially find cloying, but I can catch occasional whiffs of it on myself towards the end of the day with no reapplication. It has become one of my favorite high heat summer scents that's suitable for the office.

Анонім★★★★★

Green grass, that's what I smell when I first apply it. Its like squeezed fresh grass in fingers. Bit of sweet green apple. Need to spray a lot to last even two hours. Best on rainy dump days..make you fill like you are part of the weather.

Анонім★★★★★

To me its overpriced because it starts as a skin scent and stays that way, lasting a few hours. I can smell it on me, but no one else will. I like the way it smells, but there are better "green soap" options that have at least some projection, and also can last 6 hours. I would need to respray this every 3 hours all day. At 2.5 hours, with my nose 4" away from my skin, I can not smell it. I wear fragrances to smell, and this one disappears into nothing far too quickly. I bought it and have used it for 3 months. No change.

Анонім★★★★★

A great, fresh, unique summer scent - I’ve been using it as my go-to all summer long. I blind bought it and haven’t regretted it for a second. I’ve tried the original Greenley, and to be honest, the og has a brighter, more intense apple note at the start, other than that, they’re identical. Of course, the longevity is a bit disappointing - I wish it would last longer - but it’s a freshie, so overspraying is the only option ig. I’ve tried over 50 fragrances in person by now, and this is one of the few I’d def like to highlight. I highly recommend Aether for your collection. Scent - 9.5/10 Longevity - 6.5/10 Silage - 7/10 Overall - 7.5/10

Did not like when I first received it. When I got it I was super stoked hoping it would slow me down from burning through my PDM Greenly, but I sprayed it and It literally smelled like alcohol with a smidge of grass. a couple weeks later I sprayed it again just to see and it was night and day from when I first received it. It actually started to smell just like my greenly, so I let it sit for another couple weeks and wow! It truly smells so close to my greenly I was stoked. Now my Greenly starts out with a strong oak moss smell and then it dimmed down to a nice green apple smell. I love it, and it lingers all day! Now this one is very similar but not as strong in the apple area, now it could get better but it’s pretty damn good now, can’t say 1-1 but it’s definitely close and I don’t think there is anything else out there that gets this close. Great buy, but let it sit after you crack it open and give it a couple sprays!

Анонім★★★★★

I think it's pretty close to pdm greenley. Little bit synthetic smelling on the skin in the beginning. But for the price I would buy again, rather than the OG.

Анонім★★★★★

This is garbage. Smells like cardboard. Horrific when I bought it. Still shit after sitting for a few months. These fukin dupes have people duped plain and simple. The overwhelming majority are trash. Save the money and buy the real deals. How many bad, weak, not close to the original bottles do you need?

Анонім★★★★★

Out of all my fragarances, this is the one which is being used up the quickest - because it disappears so quickly, I keep reapplying! I think it smells lovely - a green forestal apple on initial sprays, quickly drying down to a soft sweet musky wood, and then it ... disappears... faster than a date after I buy her dinner, or a contractor doing a home renovation after I've given them my deposit. I bought the bottle, let it sit for months, periodically expressing a bit to allow it to oxidize but... there is literally no persistence. It is offically the shortest lasting fragrance I own, and I own quite a few which are only 2-4 hour scents. But this is literally almost gone at 1 hour and after 1:45, there's NOTHING. NADA. Zero. Zippo. Tested every 15 minutes with different family members. Which is a shame because I really like the scent and at 4 hours I would be thinking about buying my next bottle. But this is so ephemeral that I can't. Just going to use it up and let it disappear. I don't know if I got a bad batch or a fake (looks real to me, and smells great so why bother doing a fake correctly) but I'm just so disappointed in this one. What a shame. What should I get instead for greenley that will give me a bit more time?
