I didn’t love it at first, as it smelt like an old woman’s closet. I bought it almost a year ago on a blind buy and didnt really like wearing it. Today, I thought of giving it another go. First sprays still smell like a vintage white flower, but later on when the honey and tobacco appears, it becomes sweet and creamy. I can smell some similarities between Elsewhere/Sindbad on the drydown. But this one is more of an all rounder, perfect for the office or a casual day out with the ladies.

Gorgeous! Tropical florals, jasmine garden, sweet honey accord paired with sweet apricot and clean dense musks. These are the dominant notes to my nose, and there are hints of dry spicy feel and woody notes in the background. The scent teleports me into a dream land, somewhere tropical yet with modern and luxurious architecture, So so good and to my taste.

@DoveLineGirl said everything I'd want to say about this scent. On first sniff, it immediately reminded me of a beach holiday in Bali. Everything about it has this tropical slightly humid yet very clean and fresh feel. @DoveLineGirl said: "My husband mentioned it reminded him of frangipani, and I can absolutely understand why. There’s a creamy, tropical quality that evokes balmy evenings and blooming gardens. This fragrance wraps around you like a golden veil of light… glowing, uplifting, and joyful. There’s a distinct pollen like quality, perhaps from the osmanthus and mimosa, that blends beautifully with the juicy, almost nectarous apricot. The jasmine, tobacco and honey add a syrupy richness, warm and golden, but never cloying."

Test it, buy it, fall in love with it. It's as simple as that. That said, this isn't a fragrance that everyone can pull off. It demands a certain personality and a unique sense of style to truly make it your own. For the right person, it's pure magic! 8/10

❕Impressions from skin wear Journey Woman turned out to be completely different from what I had imagined based on its note pyramid. In the opening, for just a few minutes, I clearly detect the scent of young liquid honey. It is incredibly beautiful, pure, and delicate, with none of the urinous facets that honey notes can sometimes have in certain fragrances. Soon, ripe apricots accompanied by osmanthus take center stage. It is the osmanthus that creates the impression of velvety apricot skin with a subtle tartness, making the fruit smell even more realistic and natural. As the fragrance develops, it becomes softer and more comforting. On my skin, it creates the sensation of an expensive skincare cream, smooth, silky, and very feminine. I can’t say exactly which notes are responsible for this effect, but this creamy veil is what makes Journey Woman so captivating to me. The sweetness remains very restrained throughout, adding only a gentle touch without ever overwhelming the composition. To me, this is a truly versatile everyday fragrance. I can easily imagine wearing it both in warm weather and during winter. It performs beautifully on a sunny summer day, enveloping you in its softness and effortless elegance.

Journey Woman by Amouage is one of the most confusing scents I've ever tried. The note list looks so good--honey, cardamon, mimosa, nutmeg, apricot, and others, but I am mostly getting osmanthus and saffron, which combine into an unpleasant plastic suede with chewed fruit gum. I would not have guessed that this has honey in it, but maybe leftover honey stored in hot plastic. Also, I've tried so hard to like osmanthus in fragrance, but every single time it has been disappointing. Natural osmanthus smells so good, nothing like the garbage found in perfumery, which 9 out of 10 times smells like plastic apricot and abrasive "suede". So yeah, Journey Woman is basically an osmanthus fragrance, not the honeyed, spiced mimosa I was hoping for. Another fail in my search for the perfect mimosa perfume. Love Mimosa is decent, but the search continues. Hard pass, but quality and performance are very good. I really wanted to like this!!!

Wonderful, one of my favourite from Amouage. However the descriptions has nothing to fo with what I am smelling. Although quite hard to describe let's say white juicy flowers and extremely clean white leather. Is my white leather outfit perfume. I feel is matching this vibe. Is spicy, sparkly, soapy fresh, powdery and is very addictive.

If aliens came tomorrow on Earth and asked to be presented the art of perfumery, this would be my selection. I wear this rarely, and when I know I can give it the attention it deserves, and the pleasure to experience it that I deserve. Because it takes you on a journey. It evolves, and it evolves and it evolves. It takes you back, left, right, up then takes you back only to have a new depth to it. It feels like it's alive. The notes combination is already the stuff of my dreams, so to me there's nothing like it. Like I jumped on whirlwind of beauty. It's incredibly well-blended, well crafted and thoroughly beautiful. A true masterpiece.

Sunshine by this house is my all time favorite, and this is her sister for the colder days. Darker, richer, beautiful. Anyways Sunshine is more uplifting for me and I will choose her over anything.

Tempted by the promise of apricot and florals, I decided to give it a chance. Unfortunately, my enthusiasm died within seconds. The opening is distinctly spicy, instead of juicy apricot, I mainly get cardamom and nutmeg. There’s no fruity softness; it’s dry and sharp, like opening a kitchen cupboard full of spices. After a while, a floral blend appears, generously drenched in honey. These aren’t fresh, radiant blooms, though, but rather dried bouquets forgotten in the attic, with a waft of tobacco lingering in the background. The whole thing reminds me of an old herbal apothecary or a heavy, dusty curtain in a vintage theatre. In the base, I pick up cypriol and, unfortunately, even more of the tobacco I personally struggle with. I can hardly detect any saffron, musk or vanilla. Longevity is very good, projection moderate, and the composition is undoubtedly complex and well crafted. I can appreciate the artistry, but it’s simply not my sort of thing.

Only just got this yesterday and been testing it, it was a blind buy. I’m not sure if it’s going to be a like. There’s a strong pungent soapy smell to it that’s off putting. I love most of the woman’s offerings and I regret to say this is probably my least favourite. Definitely not blind buy worthy, luckily I bought it for half off.

Journey Woman is the scent of golden autumn sunshine in a vast field- rich, opulent, shimmering. It opens with sweetly spiced apricots and osmanthus. There is a warm, soapy nuance in the top that dissipates quickly. Honey and mimosa give the scent a fuzzy texture- very natural and somewhat pollen like. There is a touch of earthiness from the cypriol, tobacco and saffron, but the overall feel is warm, dry and clean. This is the epitome of an ‘Earth Mother’ scent, but make it refined and expensive. I prefer to wear this when the weather is on the warmer side, but it doesn’t last as long- around 4 hours. In colder weather this lasts much longer on my skin- closer to 8 hours. I agree with others mentioning the connection between Sunshine and Journey. They do share a similar feel, one being lighter and the other heavier.

I didn’t like it at the beginning, smelled like a soap, but after one hour the dry down is getting much more pleasant, still not my favourite from Amouage but pretty non offensive scent.

I realized today as I am wearing Amouage Sunshine, That Journey is they sister to it....just the deeper, darker, winter Version of it & I am so here for it. I love both of them.

"Floral, fruity and sweet" is not how I would describe this. This is indeed floral, but in a chamomile-like way. The mimosa in this makes this perfume smell immediately natural. Then there is a lot of honey and a lot of medicinal notes, but in a good way. It's like the smell of a meadow amped up 100 times. To me, there's absolutely nothing fruity about this, and the floral part is yellow floral, not pink.

Анонім★★★★★

I like this one. It is not as challenging as other scents from the house, but that doesn't mean it's not absolutely beautiful. Waxy, jammy, powdery and leathery, with minimal sweetness. Maybe I'm a little biased because I will always eat up an apricot-osmanthus combo, but in this case the honey note was done differently from most other perfumes. Mimosa saved it from getting soapy while the leathery saffron, nutmeg and cardamom flickers up every now and then, intriguing the senses. There is a certain creaminess to it that feels as fuzzy as the skin of an apricot. Gorgeously done. The only problem is longevity, which is surprising cuz this is Amouage we're talking about. It became a skin scent then disappeared completely within 2 hours. Could it be a bad batch?

With a sweet, honeyed opening rich in fruity apricot nuances and warm spicy touches of cardamom and nutmeg, the fragrance creates a warm, sweet accord with a lactonic texture, reminiscent of petit four biscuits filled with apricot jam. The heart swiftly unfolds into a jasmine floral accord, crafted in the same style as Mugler’s Alien (undoubtedly employing methyl anthranilate), blended seamlessly with a creamy lactonic note. This is joined by a waxy mimosa facet that imparts the sticky sensation of honey. The heart glows with golden floral radiance, evoking the warmth of late afternoon sun over yellow flower fields, with a faint backdrop of saffron. Gradually, dry yet soft cedarwood emerges, and as the top notes fade, silky tobacco and shimmering saffron lines weave in, bringing an oriental smokiness. Vanilla and musk embrace the base, enhancing the fragrance’s softness and leaving behind a powdery, woody halo that carries the sweet trace of honey to the very last moments of the scent.

I always read that this is not a blind buy scent- and it probably should not be. But this is such an amazing scent that literally will take you on a JOURNEY. It is stunning and complex. & after every turn- something else begins to peel through. This is for a confident woman who does not mind being noticed. One who is complex. Not a wallflower or one who wants to remain unnoticed. I LOVE IT @tiffanychevelleofficial

I can easily imagine this becoming my scent for our next family holiday. I love choosing a new fragrance before a trip, letting the scent intertwine with the memories to be revisited time and time again. Journey Woman has all the makings of such a memory keeper. Another exquisite creation from Amouage. I’m genuinely surprised this one doesn’t receive more recognition! It’s a hidden gem, and a true beacon of warmth and joy.

Too much honey, It's like a branded cleaning product.

I adore perfumes that create vivid images in my mind. That’s probably why I love this house—Amouage—from the Christopher Chong era. Journey makes me think of a camel caravan crossing the desert, accompanied by chests filled with sun-ripened apricots, jasmine garlands, and ochre leather suitcases. The air is thick with these sun-warmed aromas, and somewhere in the background, you can sense the sweetness of golden honey… And the ironic part is—I wouldn’t even describe this perfume as sweet. It’s unique! It shares a subtle connection with Sunshine Woman, perhaps through the apricot-like note (osmanthus), but Journey still stands a step above for me, even though I also own Sunshine.

It’s a love for me😍

Stunning. Rich auntie is on point 😂 All honey, apricots, leather, mimosa on me. Maybe a touch of tobacco. Just gorgeous. Its a very big, juicy apricot btw. Notes all present throughout the wear. The blending is seamless so the notes all lift together for as long as its present on skin. I'm not sure why this Amouage is not talked about more. It straddles the line between old Amouage and new. Smells like old money. Its a touch vintage but never strays too far into that territory. Smells on skin almost exactly like it does on paper or in the air- unusual for the house. This was my first FB from Amouage. Had to have it. Fairly feminine, all season except summer. Excellent sillage and longevity, but you already knew that 😉 Morillas is theee man

The fragrance is titled ''Journey" precisely because its top notes encapsulate the industrial rubber accord reminiscent of synthetic leather and plastic upholstery permeating lobbies of ubiquitous American four-star business hotels (Hilton Garden Inn, Hampton Inn, Embassy Suites, Holiday Inn). A single spray instantly transports me back to Thanksgiving and Christmas breaks during high school years. From an olfactory engineering perspective, this constitutes technical brilliance - arguably the most biomimetically convincing "metallic" accord ever achieved in perfumery, perpetually evoking transience and restless mobility. While most would dismiss this scent, I find myself inexplicably nostalgic for its peculiar charm. Any creation capable of triggering such potent Proustian mnemonics deserves my utmost admiration, as true olfactive artistry lies in crafting deeply personal olfactory memoirs. Although I wouldn't spray it on a daily basis. It's not a ''beautiful'' perfume. It shares conceptual parallels with Guidance 46 through their hazelnut nuances, yet diverges remarkably in execution: Journey's hazelnut manifests as antiseptic mouthwash lingering in dental clinics, whereas G46's version resembles Ferrero Rocher cloaked in tacky gummy candy. The heart gradually unveils honeyed facets intertwined with an abstract osmanthus interpretation - not the authentic Chinese golden showering little flower, but rather a conceptual reconstruction using almond and saffron to simulate faded floral vestiges. I do understand why many Amouage fans and zealots, like me, promptly resell this creation, for it fundamentally deviates from the house's DNA. Were it rebranded as "Diable d'argent" (American Psycho) under Etat Libre d'Orange's THE ORANGE EXTRAORDINAIRE COLLECTION, the dissonance would feel artistically justified. Rating: 6/10

This is a nice sweetened floral fragrance. Like others from Amouage, it has great longevity and decent projection. I mostly get a honeyed apricot with jasmine in the background. Not a favorite of mine but certainly nice.

Unisex "rich woman vibe" smell. Osmantus - an apricot/linden tree flower smell, absolutely fantastic (mr. Maurice Roucel favourite note), really apricot (not sweet, just a fresh apricot) black tea, tobacco and the amzing mimosa absolute. A fruity/flowery oriental journey, unisex , exquisite, ellegant and timeless. Golden Era Christopher Chong on Amouage. Also beautiful bottle. Love it. 💓

Анонім★★★★★

This is probably my least favourite for this brand. And not just once, I have given it many chances. The reason is the osmanthus. I have a bad relationship with this flower because it smells very fruity and linden-like. Its presence always disturbs me. Even the presence of mimosa and jasmine is not enough, the osmanthus is very, very prominent! Although there is no tea in it, I felt as if I had added honey to my tea, called Jasmine Pearls, strange! Honey here is a bit like flower essence honey, what I like are heavier honeys like raw honey, black honey. For me, tobacco is the saviour of this fragrance, otherwise it would have taken off like a kite that got away. I'd like to smell the saffron more, but I can't. Anyway, I didn't like the first spray, and I didn't like it afterwards. The drydown doesn't change drastically either, only the tobacco becomes a bit more prominent, but that's not enough.

Анонім★★★★★

Spicy apricot and osmanthus fragrance. I get mostly the apricot in the top notes. Thankfully it is not a sugary artificial apricot like the “peach rings” candy, but rather a light natural apricot. It reminds me a bit of how the peach note is done in Guerlain Mitsouko. While I do love this fragrance, I can also understand the negative reviews saying “this smells like rubber” because I do also get a rubbery quality in the top. I think it is how my nose is interpreting the osmanthus/black tea combo. That being said, I don’t really find it unpleasant. The apricot opening on me then dried down into a beautiful black tea/osmanthus/honey fragrance. I love osmanthus and that note in particular is especially prominent to me in Journey Woman. I also definitely get the sweetness of the honey. So beautiful and I think this will be perfect for spring and summer. I can see this really blooming in warmer weather.
