Reflection Man

Absolutely stunning. This is an all time favorite. Creamy, soft, sophisticated, women love it, men love it and kids love it. What’s not to like? My only niggle is it doesn’t last as long as I would like but that could be how hot it always is in Se Asia and the unavoidable sweating that happens when simply just stepping outside. This is not the most niche frag but I still wouldn’t call it boring. Yes there is a slight powdery facet to its composition but I disagree with those that think it approaches grandma territory. Not even close. More like luxurious smelling freshly laundered clothes done by grandma, sure. I consider this a top 10 all time personal favorite and will always have this in my collection. This is a timeless masterpiece for a reason. I really wish I could have experienced the first formulation of its initial release.

Starts fresh but the dry down, always gives me a headache There's a note that's over powering everything else and I'm not sure which it is but it's smells very screechy, sharp and dry and chemical like Similar to the smell get when you open a can of Pringles without it being gourmandy

Reflection is probably the biggest outlier in Amouage's catalog of powerhouse Middle Eastern fragrances, and interestingly, it's also their safest and most "boring". With that said, this is one of my favorite professional fragrances of all time. It works so well for the office when you're not wanting to smell like a common designer, but also don't want to smell "interesting" like a niche fragrance. This is inoffensive, unique, and it smells so good. It's super smooth, powdery, and sweet-floral, meaning, no - this does not smell like a bouquet of roses or daisies. The floral notes add a sweet, almost dew-like aroma that pairs perfectly with the buttery orris and smooth woody base. I do like this much more than Reflection 45 because it's simply more subtle and better for the office. 45 is designed for broader use, but honestly, I wouldn't wear this profile casually...this is a work scent. Reflection smells expensive, clean, and gentlemanly. Get this if you're career oriented, work in a traditional corporate setting, and want to reinforce that you're well put together, clean cut, and trustworthy. 9.3/10

Starts of like Viktor rolf metallic musk and ozonic which I don't really like it's a bit barbershop but the full dry down is amazing clean blossom creamy sandalwood bubble , i only like the full dry down tho I pick up afnan 9pm half way and I hate that smell

This is a very sophisticated creation of a very plain Jane scent profile. Amouage is a brilliant house and I don't think I've came across anything thus far that is of poor quality. I appreciate the creativity of the perfumers and of their creative director(s). I'm just not a huge fan of these classic barber shop style fragrances. I remember distinctly wearing this to a graduation and even got a compliment from the graduate I was there to see. It's a nice fragrance when all said and done but unlike @Ombrégray, I would have to call it boring compared to many other Amouage fragrances.

Extremely terrible, to me it smells kind of starchy, a bit linen like, barbershoppy and just overall VERY headache inducing. Smelling this in the heat might genuinely take you out, i really dislike it and cant begin to imagine what would even be an appropriate time to wear it.

I keep wanting to call this boring for an Amouage, but the creamy sandalwood and white floral combination is to die for. Soooooo smooth

Got aa decant ages go and it’s too floral for me,can’t be the neroli upsetting my nose because I have Guerlain neroli outrenior which is amazing, the white florals make me feel sick but R45 is denser nicer and florals turned down and is the one to buy

The only Amouage I don’t like or may be I don’t understand.I gave this one ample wear over several weeks, determined to understand its reputation,it never resonated with me.

@Some Random Guy Nah big bruh no Joop vibes, I wore Joop back in the day when I was a young man and I’m 61 years old now. This doesn’t smell anything like Joop because if it did I wouldn’t invest in this gorgeous fragrance. I’m going forward not backwards. Hopefully you didn’t get a jacked up batch. But no, no Joop vibes👊🏿👊🏿💯💯

Bruh, I just got a sample of this and immediately I smelled Joop ? What the helly? I either got scammed or the opening is joop like can anyone advise if they had the same situation?

This is too powdery for me, the floral notes are definitely there but it’s just too powder for me I’m a little disappointed after smelling masterpieces like Outlands but I guess the house of Amouage doesn’t do freshies well. This is reminiscent of le male edt

this is such an angelic scent full of contrasts. it’s soft yet masculine, beautiful yet sexy, fresh yet creamy and warm, day scent yet works on date nights too. for me this is the best fragrance i’ve so far come across by miles.

Lovely creamy white floral scent, the jasmine is beautifully paired with the sandalwood in its so decadent but not really heavy or heady

Reminds me of a lighter, less thick and sweet Naxos. Definitely a winner if you like Naxos but want something a little more floral and a lot less thick sweet honey.

As always wear what you like. I love Amouage and have tried almost everything they offer. But their freshies just don’t hit for me. This is one of the soapiest most powdery scents I have ever smelled. It screams “old money” to me. Now, I will say iris/orris scents I usually can’t stand, but if those are your vibe you’ll love this.

I used only sample for me it work better the the 45 last more on my skin and i can smell him on me unlike the 45 that i need to really try to feel him i get more one sample i hope to find one in a goos price real soon

I don't know why but for me it reminds me of Naxos just less sweet and more grown up and raw.

This definitely wasn’t what I expected based on the descriptions. I never imagined it would be so soapy, white, and… maybe slightly metallic or chemically metallic, and kind of powdery too. Still, it’s a very high-quality fragrance that’s super clean, sophisticated, and definitely a compliment-getter. I wouldn’t call it my absolute favorite, but it’s one I’d like to have in my collection. Maybe I’d consider getting the next version—Reflection 45 Man—but this one is definitely nice. It’s not a game-changer, not something wild, but it’s a pleasant, clean, white, soapy scent. Maybe there’s a hint of white florals, but I can’t detect the iris. And that’s it—nothing more to say.

Good, masculine smell, and complex as always. Probably one of the most masculine of the perfumes Amouage has.

I own this and R45. Both are amazing scents. This is more fresh, floral and woody as opposed to vanillic, resinous and powdery in the drydown. The core smell is similar but I would wear them in different situations. This is probably more office and casual whereas 45 is more formal or special occasions. But you could argue that they are both versatile signatures. Not really that necessary to own both but I’m glad I do. This is a 10/10 masterpiece as is 45.

My bottle is the old version (specifically 2019). Green florals, pepper and woods, clean, elegant and works for every occasion. A nice choice.

Pleasantly suprised that this dries down into a comforting sweet woody scent.
