Armani Code Parfum

This is one of the rare masculine fragrances that smell strong, elegant, and sexy without being gross or full of bravado. It has a very warm and inviting vibe to it. It's mature, grounded, and sparks curiosity. Super lovely!! It feels surprisingly light considering how much depth it has. Very versatile and easy to wear, although it shines the most in slightly finer occasions.

The best designer fragrance on the market. This is basically what a great suit should smell like. Effortless, classic, easy for any occasion. This is one of my dailies and I've loved this perfume since 2010 (the edt version). Everyone keeps talking about how great Stronger With You is - and we should let them - so they let us discretely wear this absolute gem. It's an all-timer and if I had to have three fragrances for the rest of my life, this would be one of them.

An absolute modern Iris masterpiece. You can use this at any time, any place, any season. However, it definitely fits a more dress or dress-casual vibe more than anything else but that doesn’t mean it’s limited to those two vibes. Would be great as a date night fragrance for the more classy or sensual occasions. Wouldn’t see this as a clubbing scent. For an occasion like that, I would opt for my usual Paco Rabanne (Phantom, One Million, Black XS).

I didn't like this one. I like powdery iris-centric fragrances, but Armani Code Parfum only seems like a synthetic, run-of-the-mill designer fragrance, in my opinion. Furthermore, I can't get the thought out of my head of the smell that you get when you first walk into a department store fragrance department. It's a hard pass for me and not worth revisiting. There are much better iris-centric men's fragrances, in my opinion, around the same price range.

WOW this is actually one of my favourite fragrance's,the iris give the perfume that sort of mysterious vibe,and the ceder wood does give a great clean vibe as usual but just perfectly with the iris,it truly smells like a handsome gentleman that truly has some sort of mystery about him,a mystery that all the girl's will wanna find out about!

Armani Code for me smells like you've just come out of the shower and have put on some talc powder. I received this one as a gift and although i haven't given it much wear since i received it, recently it's been getting more use. I feel like i can wear this one daytime and nightime as although it doesn't have a "Freshness" it is still very much a clean scent. To be honest though, i feel there is nothing exciting or special about the scent, it's very safe

Armani Code Parfum opens with a bright, clean iris that immediately takes center stage. The iris is smooth, lightly powdery, and gently sweet, while a subtle citrus accord adds freshness and lift without competing for attention. The fragrance feels exceptionally clean and refined, with an airy top resting over a denser base that hints at the warmth to come. As it develops, the composition becomes more cohesive as the airy opening blends into the heart. The citrus gradually loses its identity as a distinct note, instead becoming a general sweetness that supports the iris. Soft tonka begins to emerge from the base, adding warmth while allowing the iris to remain the focal point. The drydown is centered on a slightly sweet iris with a subtle woody backbone that gradually dries out the composition. The texture becomes dry and powdery, while the woods and tonka remain supporting elements rather than taking over. If Prada L’Homme is a soapy iris, this feels more like a body wash iris—clean, slightly sweet, dry, and powdery without becoming overtly soapy. The fragrance lasted around eight hours. Overall, this is a clean, refined, and easy fragrance to wear. I was left wanting a little more, whether that was additional sweetness, a darker element, or another layer of complexity. While it is versatile and well executed, it never fully captured my attention or gave me a standout moment during the wear. Score: 7.0/10

Finally, an iris that doesn't smell like a makeup bag. Controversial opinion: I can't stand Dior Homme Intense. I know it's one of the internet's babies, but to me it smells like the bottom of a makeup bag with that waxy, lipstick-y iris a lot of "elegant" fragrances lean on. So I came into Code Parfum braced to write it off as more of the same. Instead, this is the iris fragrance for people who don't like iris. It's softer, and more importantly it's blended. The iris isn't standing up front demanding attention, it's woven through the bergamot and clary sage up top and anchored by a warm tonka-and-cedar base. It reads as texture, not a cosmetics counter. Clean and a touch powdery, but elegant instead of shouty. It's landed as my dressed-up, cooler-weather, want-to-look-put-together scent. Most of my rotation leans warm and sweet, so this fills the polished, refined slot without ever tipping into the makeup-bag territory I can't stand. If Dior Homme Intense isn't your thing either but you still want something in that sophisticated iris lane, try this. It might be the one that finally clicks.

While everyone glazes the Dior Homme linup while smelling like makeup, Armani Code Parfum is truly a masterpiece manly iris scent. The balance of the notes is just perfect, complex and addicting. It also seems to be light enough or balanced enough to be a daily wear, not just formal stuff like many other iris heavy scents. Probably wouldnt use on real hot days. Longevity is great, projection is ok, not a beast by any means.

Bought a full bottle of this after I lost my sample which frustrated me immensely and quickly realised this scent profile is not for me. It is a nice, clean-smelling and mass appealing scent profile but nothing unique or special about it.

Antoine Maisondieu didn't just update the Code DNA with this release.. he gave it a soul. the original Eau de Toilette felt like a dark leather jacket. Armani Code Parfum is a story. The magic happens in the mix of the heart notes. The start is sharp like a picture, with Vert de Bergamote and bergamot leaf. It's green, bitter and very bright. Its not just a simple citrus scent. After a minutes the scent changes. And thats where it becomes a masterpiece. The Moroccan iris. Clean aldehydes make the sharp edges smooth. The iris doesn't make it too feminine. it balances the clean clary sage. Leads to the base notes. The dry-down is amazing. The smoky tonka bean is still there. It feels creamier with Virginia cedarwood. The cedarwood keeps the sweetness sophisticated. It removes the heavy synthetic smell and replaces it with a light airy scent that lasts for hours. It is smooth well-balanced and works for occasions. Code Parfum isn't another version; it's the best, in the lineup. I think it's a 10.

In today’s humid weather, this did pretty good. It’s a go for wearing it all year round. Can’t go wrong with Code. Classic scent profile.

Unfortunately can’t use Armani Code Parfum during summer especially in the Middle East due to high humidity, it is my signature fragrance in Fall-Winter season. Amazing scent, addictive and inoffensive in indoors/offices My rating: 9.4/10

This is a solid fragrance, elegant, very professional office environment scent for me. It's basically soft iris with light vanillic yet soapy powdery clean smoothly blended with a good longevity. 8/10

Absolutely gorgeous scent. In one word: elegant. Soft but masculine. The iris comes through with a hint of vanilla. It's a more mature version of Code, that works equally well with a fitted t-shirt and jeans or formal attire. Applied lightly, it sits close to the skin, to be appreciated by those at an intimate distance, and lasts all evening. 10/10

This has a special place in my heart as it always reminds me of a memorable trip to California. However, I will discontinue using this to explore other fragrances.. definitely very safe to blind buy. Final Rating: 9.34 / 10

It was a gift and i don’t like iris so i might be a bit biased but it smells like every other cologne overpriced imo.

Update: Did a review when I just got it 2 days ago. It's now grown on me already. It's soft and smells great in the air with nice projection. I don't mind the opening now. Overall great scent, it's just the price could be lower :)

Got this on a huge sale. It's quite pleasant and very inoffensive, I can see this getting compliments. However I would never pay full price for this. I am not a huge fan of the opening, it's got this synthetic quality I do not like, but once that fades away it's nice.

I recently discovered Armani Code Parfum, and it instantly became my daily favorite. I’ve been wearing it non-stop to work, casual night outs—it just fits any occasion perfectly. It’s the ultimate versatile, wildcard fragrance that always pulls compliments. The very first time I wore it was to an evening class; I sat next to a woman, and she immediately said, 'Your perfume smells amazing, what’s it called?' That says it all, right? haha. Even though it’s a Parfum concentration, it’s not a loud, room-filling scent bomb. It’s more understated and elegant. If you want more performance out of it, you definitely need to go heavy on the trigger. Armani Code Parfum is actually fantastic; I'd say its easily my favorite Armani release of all time. However, im an iris fan for life so take that as you will. Its a strong but gentle profile with iris, citrus, tonka & powder. Its slightly soapy but crisp. Its definitely a 4 season fragrance thats only limitation being extreme heat but indoors, year-round. Its inky & masculine but isnt synthetic & in your face. Its moderate performance for a parfum but it last long on clothing. Its projection is close for the entire duration (about 2-3ft) & has a very consistent dry down which i like. Its youthful but also mature; i could see a guy in his late 20s to early 30s loving this because it has elements of new age perfumery meets old. Truly immaculate perfumery, if youre an iris lover who misses the old school Dior Iris mens colognes than this is your pick, i think its equally as good as the discontinued Dior Iris scents aswell as the newer ones. You won't be disappointed.

I got gifted by my cousin brother. Its the hit that we get on first shot like a fresh aromatic powdery scent not so sharp but with a soothing touch. Top notes are well perfect and even after few hours freshness lightly fades but the strong aromatic citrus and woody lasts long.Best for warm weather All 8/10 type for men (day,night,best for remote work )

Smooth citrus and iris in the opening give it a clean, elegant vibe, while the tonka and woods make it warm, classy, and quietly seductive. It smells modern, refined, and extremely wearable. Maybe not a loud beast-mode fragrance, but the type that makes people lean in closer. 9/10 for sure, its effortless, masculine, and one of the best-balanced fragrances I’ve tried.

This is clearly a goat.It smells clean and elegant but yet puts character on the table.Really good longevity but moderate sillage.I dont think it wont make you get compliments from a random person but only from people who is really around you.Great for school/office.

Any fragrance collection need this. Great for all year round, iris with all little sweet and powdery feeling, and most important - The lady like it. Performance is ok, just not great but the price is also fine so you should overspray sometimes. If you're new to fragrance you should take this one.

I used all my saved up money to buy this from sephora only to realise that my batch sucked This perfume lasts 30 minutes on my skin and after 30 minutes it acts like as it was there for 8 hours in drydown. I dont know what to say the price point was high for me to begin with really flabbergasted idk man I bought the perfume at 11o clock walked 30 minutes home then after 2 hours walked back to the shopping mall to return the perfume for further investigation Ill be waiting for 1to-21 days now I will ask for a refund My magnetic cap wasnt fully touching the end of the bottle btw and there was some dents within the glass My batchcode was 38x0005
