I just got an old 2mL sample of this from a neighbour, and it smells very similar to some of my sunscreen lotions (floral, creamy, almond). It's not really my vibe and I can see by the comments that many people liked it and miss it, so if that matches what you remember of it (would mean that it hasn't turned) and you want it, you can DM me, I'm fine giving it away!

try ariana grande’s vanilla suede. tell me if it doesnt smell like sensi.

This was a really interesting perfume... Warm, cozy, bready and almondy, sweetened by honey... Such an amazing powdery scent. Ideal for cold winter. Like a warm hug from a very loving and caring mom... So sad it's been discontinued...

I have an almost full 100 ml. bottle of this if someone is interested. Based in Bucharest, Romania. Update: sold.

Please bring that perfume back and no flankers just the real thing. It's a classic. Why is this so difficult to exist???

Анонім

Sensi will always be my beloved and all-time number one. I know love for perfumery because Sensi exists

It was as if I had dived into a bag filled with multi-colored ribbons, each scented with its own floral aroma. There are also a lot of balls made from bread in the bag. Not just wheat, but rye as well. It was funny, like I was being naughty at school or a slumber party. But the variety of everything tired me out, and the bread balls even made me dragonish. It's a strange experience. I have a vintage miniature, so maybe some things don't sound right anymore.

EDIT - I have a partial bottle arriving tomorrow! Can’t wait to smell this again sB see if it’s what I remember This was my second designer fragrance that I had bought with my own money, when i was in my early 20's. It was way too sophisticated for me at the time but I did also buy Chanel Allure as my first ever designer/luxury perfume. So you can see where my tastes lie - I like sophisticated, mature scents. I still do but i also love a lot of other scent DNAs as well. I remember that Sensi made me feel grown up and like I knew what i was doing as I navigated through early adulthood. Wearing Sensi, gave me a sense that I was a responsible adult that had all of my Sh!t together. I still love warm florals with a nutty note. Wish that this was resurrected. I would love a bottle for nostalgia sake.

This one has my heart and like all things that have my heart, it is discontinued. Like used Marinera said I need to practice emotional detachment too. (not a dupe per se but Lancome Tresor is also same family, warm skin with some peach and I do get a bit of almonds, Tresor feels heavier and richer than Sensi so spray sparingly). Sensi is a gorgeous combination of florals and almond. And I would never guess wheat but maybe that and almond are the warm skin note. This is also so versatile. You can wear it to office, parties or even at home. Just adjust the dosage. I imagine this to be the effortless, timeless and sophisticated person who takes joy in simple things. Love this to bits. I am noticing that I love florals with almond or a touch of vanilla.

Perfume Parlour based in UK Kyoushi extrait is spot on dupe! Very long lasting! Compliments galore! Inexpensive and super fast shipping and great customer service. I live in the USA, not sure where else they ship to. Their silken santal extrait is also divine as a dupe for Kayali.

I took a chance on another partial bottle. The first one was completely turned top to bottom, but this one is perfect. The opening has a sharp alcoholic blast that I don’t remember from back in the day, but within a couple of minutes turns into the most gorgeous perfume. I’ll never forget standing at the counter at the department store begging my mom to let me buy a bottle during back to school shopping when this first released. It was love at first sniff! I’ve been chasing a dupe for years and have tried most suggested by others, I’ll add them in just in case it can help someone else. For comparisons in my personal opinion: Carner Tardes is way too powdery- it’s missing the sunny warm sweetness of Sensi. Desert Sun by Tahari is not even close to similar scents. Terra Di Gioia is too overpoweringly floral/powder, it never settles into the warm cloud of scent that Sensi does. Sensi White notes comes close but it’s too fruit heavy and missing all sweet and anchoring notes to help it stick around. Sensi Deodorant spray is extremely light but reminiscent of the Eau de Parfum. The only perfume I’ve tried that somewhat reminds me of it is Victoria’s Secret Bombshell Gold (also discontinued but still on resale sites) based on another review below. It’s too sweet and missing the creamy powdery aspect but there is a quality in the dry down that absolutely reminds me of Sensi even wearing them side by side. It’s by no means a replacement but it’ll do when I absolutely can’t find another bottle. I wish this beauty would make a comeback as it’s truly one of a kind. Somehow it’s sunshine in a bottle and I’m going to cherish every last drop I have of it.

I still consider it my signature despite not being able to wear it as one. I've never found anything I could say would take its place. I wore it year round, every day when I first found it. Hard to describe because it had a natural, dry sweetness (almond+wheat?) but it was radiant too. It felt elegant but not taking itself too seriously. Powdery, woodsy. Golden light! Class in a bottle. ***the one thing I find odd: the original copy above says Farnesi acacia. The notes above say black locust. I always thought this was a mimosa and not a black locust perfume. It has the right powdery floral essence to it to be mimosa + some jasmine. Where was it mentioned that black locust was the main note?

i cant experience sensi, but as user stardustb4sunset suggested, i received perfume parlor s kyoushi just last night. and boy... if this is how sensi smelled, it truly lives to the reviews! it s a warm soft scent, quite distinguished from others. it s feminine, light... even if it s a dupe, im happy with this gift❤️

I would be forever grateful to Armani if they could get rid of tons of useless flankers and bring back Sensi! It's one of those fragrances I thought I would wear again, and now it's discontinued! Having said that, I'm practising "emotional detachment" and focusing on what I can wear instead... For example, Perle Rare by Panouge... truly a great find, with the same vibes as Sensi. I'll keep searching for others to suggest and come back to edit. Also, if you are reading this, could you send me your suggestions? Thanks! (Or, if there's a thread, let me know, I checked the forum but couldn't find anything yet).

Bought a nearly full 100 ml bottle, used and it is perfectly preserved. Have no idea what some people are talking about here regarding the sensitivity of this gorgeous perfume. Perfumed oils in alcohool will bever turn off if the bottles are well kept and preserved. Never! This is a beautiful, feminine perfume, that attracts many compliments. It lasts almost all day on my skin. A marvelous creation.

It’s so sad that SENSI it’s discontinued. It’s so sad that the bottles still in existence are now sour. It’s SO sad Armani won’t LISTEN TO US and BRING IT BACK. You hear that, Armani? BRING IT BACK, pretttty pleeeeeasssseee!!!!! —with an a vanilla almond on top ;) Lastly, it’s SO sad none of us is able to find a TRUE dupe. Nothing REALLY holds a candle. & the notes aren’t really that complicated, so I’m left bewildered…..and….. SAD! That’s all I wanted to add. Sad

Wow, (having just perused yo' reviews) was not aware that this one turns easily. I've got a nearly full bottle that I use only ever so often when the mood takes me, or weather permitting. Today it's cold but there's a touch of sunshine trying to let itself be known for the spring, so whole I was arranging some scents on my shelf for this time of year, I picked out this to wear. To be honest, when I first sprayed it on it really didn't smell as I'd remembered, though from the bottle itself it smelled normal, once sprayed it smelled odd. This thankfully passed and dissipated within only a few seconds and my scent is not bad, has not turned, but I'm worried now to see this one might befall the fate of eventually turning stinky. It's such a great almond based floral. I actually smell most the almond and the lime, maybe even what's claimed as wheat. It's very savoury sweet. Burberry Brit is similar (along with YSL cinema, though that's much woodier) though that's leaning heavily in the amber-vanilla territory, by comparison, this does bring that to mind, if people are looking for similar fragrances.

I still have my beloved bottle of Sensi from about 2008, but I use it less and less--not because it's gone off (it hasn't, IMO) but because it's less than a quarter full and I don't want to run out. It's such a beautiful, soft, bright fragrance. YSL Cinema wasn't really close for me. I second @Mooniq and her suggestion of Perfume Parlour UK's Kyoushi as an on-point dupe for Sensi, well worth the purchase despite international shipping. I smelled the spray and the roller oil alongside the original and it's indistinguishable. Now I can enjoy this scent more frequently!

As mentioned by another review below, this is prone to going off. I have a near full bottle that was off when it came into my possession in 2011. I don't even know what Sensi should smell like but that distinct odor of when a fragrance goes off was there, and I DEFINITELY know what that smells like. Every once in a while I'll give my wrist a spray of this; I notice hours after the dry down the off odor seems to dissipate quite a bit. I suppose for die-hard fans of Sensi in the market for vintage bottles this might offer some hope. For everyone else who wants the true to form original as it was when bottled, you have been warned!

Just a word of warning, this perfume was discontinued in the very early 2000’s. There are several people selling “used” bottles at ridiculous prices on Ebay and Etsy, however this is a perfume that was known for going off quickly anyway. Even if these bottles are genuine, it’s highly unlikely any of them will smell anything like it did or should. I don’t remember exactly how Sensi smelt, but it certainly didn’t smell of yogurt which most off perfumes do. I do remember it being a light, comforting, almond/wheat type of scent. Anyway Im sharing this as Id wish I’d known this before I was scammed out of my money. I’m having an absolute nightmare with an Etsy seller currently, who sent me a clearly off bottle! Please don’t let this happen to you. DO NOT BUY THIS PERFUME!! Save your money and keep the memory of Sensi intact and in the past.

Анонім

@Amaka82 zero chances. Even convincend, they cannot provide same formulation due to IFRA restrictions nowadays. Once discontinued, it will never be back.

This fragrances was the bees knees and kicked off my love of all things fragrance/perfume. How do we get the company's attention to bring it back, seriously?

Анонім

Why they discontinued this I’ll never know. It was clearly very popular. This was my favourite scent for many years. Such a shame it’s gone. Bring it back Giorgio Armani!!

Sensi is a truly lovely scent. It's not overpowering but has this beautiful sweet floral presence that lingers throughout the day. I get lots of compliments on it! It's perfect for everyday wear, work or casual outings.

This perfume is all the S’s…..Sensual, sophisticated, sexy, silky, smooth, soft….its beautiful. I purchased it in a bundle for $25, never having smelled it before. Probably the best blind buy ever.

@denis77, I might be interested, this is my email: [email protected], would you be so kind to send me an email? thank you,

Sur tes levres. E.Q. D’ORSAY reminds me of this perfume—similar warmth and sensuality.

Анонім

How can we bring it back to production? God, this is an amazing scent!

Анонім

Oh, how I miss this indulging scent. If I recall correctly, once it was discontinued, Fancy by Jessica Simpson and Lovely by SJP helped fill the void. Not exact replicas but in the same family

Okay keep in mind I'm reviewing my 20-year-old bottle but I think it's still pretty good. Opening is very floral and mature, maybe a little grandma ish but like a classy rich grandma. Definitely not as sweet as its rated but I do get some almond on the dry down. Still very floral. I like it okay enough but it's definitely more feminine and flowery than I normally go.
