I ADORE this scent profile. The amber base paired with the woodsy notes is so unique. However, it’s a very weak sillage. I find myself catching the scent when my wrist is close to my face and thinking “wow, what a nice scent! I wish I could smell it more frequently.”

My easy everyday scent I know will work for wherever I'm going. It's not groundbreaking, but it's warm, inviting, and easy to wear. Price point is a plus.

really comforting, warm, gentle, peppery-smooth, clean girl scent. not something i reach for though, i like gourmands. lovely fragrance though. this would be so nice to layer with more incense/jasmine fragrances.

i love how incensey and cozy this fragrance is. the only thing keeping me form buying it is how little the longevity is, it really doesn't last.

My baby, my darling, my angel. This is the first perfume of my collection so it holds a very special place in my heart. It’s gentle, soft, close to the skin, and perfectly earthy - almost herbaceous. It smells like forest, tea, a cozy hearth. Being snug in your favorite sweater at home. I would say it leans masculine but smells feminine at the opening. Definitely intimate and requires reapplication. Great intro to unisex scents imo

A boutique hotel. Palo santo and sandalwood burning, and someone hands you a mug of creamy vanilla egg nog featuring freshly microplaned nutmeg. Cool girl comfort by a warm fire. Fades to barely there skin musk after midnight. An intimate scent. Smells like elevated Christmas. Books. Conversation. A rich relative gifts you homemade egg nog and a leather satchel. You give them rare whiskey.

Comforting woody scent and a nice hit of ambroxan. Layers well. On the wishlist for full bottle.

possibly my favorite of the glossier scents i’ve tried! woody with a hint of sweetness but it suffers from the same issue as the others of being undetectable on the skin shortly after spraying. i have the best luck with projection spraying on the back of my neck and getting whiffs when my hair moves.

This is woody, truly. Has the sharpness of pencil shavings. Not a fan. Needs something to soften the edges. Better at the tail end when it gets much softer and sweeter, but it wasn't for me.

Doux is a very intimate skin scent for those days when you don't really want to smell of perfume, you just want to feel cosy for yourself. It's a soft, musky, creamy fragrance with a slightly resinous edge that dries down into a beautiful creamy sandalwood. The overall impression is incredibly comforting, like wrapping yourself in a warm, fluffy blanket. It sits close to the skin and never tries to be room filling or loud. To me, it feels like a slightly diluted, more understated sibling of Blanche Bête. It shares that creamy, musky, incense-like atmosphere, but swaps the lactonic richness for a touch more sandalwood, making it feel drier and quieter. I still prefer Blanche Bête for its greater depth and character, but You Doux has its own place. It's the kind of fragrance I'd happily wear to bed or on days when I don't want to make a statement

It reads like a baby wipe to me. pretty boring. spray too much, all I get is alcohol.

Pleasant woody skin scent, very nice opening of soft woods and violet. Nice palo santo note. It doesn't last very long, maybe 3 hours. Reminds me of a weaker version of Bo without the vanilla hit.

Let me set the scent scene — Grandma wears a violet perfume everyday, she's been out in the garden trimming tree branches so she's picked up a smell of resinous woods. At the start of the day she hugged your Grandpa and his metallic and fresh cologne has left a very slight scent. When you go to hug her, she smells like everything mixed together. It's warm and inviting with a woody, resinous undertone.

I'm actually having withdrawal from no longer having Glossier You Doux. I LOVE this scent. To me, its multifasceted and can be used daily, and it would smell different. I love layering with it, and would layer it with Prada Paradox. Anyways, by itself I have two descriptions of what my brain registers it as. At first it reminded me of like your boyfriend's clothes or like a hoodie, which someone said on TikTok that I completely stand by. There is a subtle masculinity to it, but the violet doesn't make it go too far. It also has this clean effect; whenever I would take a shower and put it on, my dormmates would say I smell really clean and refreshing. I also would describe it as like a fox in the snow. I don't know, it just makes sense to me. As I said, wear it independently, layer it with another scent; it smells amazing regardless. I still smell it on my sweaters after washing them too. If your intrested in a skin scent, but don't want to lean too fruity or floral, this is the one. No, like seriously, I'm so close to just buying a bunch of travel sizes till I can get the full bottle again.

my favorite of the glossier fragrances. it's woody, slightly sweet, and perfectly musky. gives sophisticated cool girl vibes to me.

Slightly conflicted on this one. I really wanted to love it - partly because of the beige packaging lol. And to be fair, it does deliver on the feeling it promises: warm, soft, and cosy - like a comforting hug. My boyfriend actually loved it on me and prefers it over the original Glossier You. But there’s something in the composition that irks me. It reminds me a little of Gypsy Water in that way, possibly the Iso E Super? A smooth, woody, almost synthetic note that I can’t quite get past. I did finish my travel size, but I found myself reaching for it more as a layering fragrance. A warm, cosy base that adds softness and depth underneath whatever else I was wearing.

Анонім

I tried to love this soooo bad, imo it just comes off masculine. It smells like a slightly sweeter santal 33, I don’t get pickles like some people say though. It’s just very heavy on the palo santo and sandalwood, just not for me.

Анонім

This is my new go-to. It’s woody and clean without being too forest or laundry. Wearing it, I feel calm, confident, and warm. Its also a very versatile scent, I feel like it could be worn any season any day. Its what I thought Santal 33 would smell like and what I like about Matcha 26 without the creamy sweetness.

On someone else? Maybe. On me? No

I love how woody this is without leaning too masculine. New go to fragrance :D

To my own nose, this perfume reads as incredibly woody, but not in the unpleasant way that I've encountered from certain fragrances. I personally struggle to pick up the violet note, but my dad commented that there was a "light floral" aspect to it when he smelled it on me, so maybe it's just too subtle for someone who wears a lot of floral-forward fragrances. There is an almost incense quality to it as well; the notes of palo santo, frankincense, and myrrh are definitely noticeable. To me, this is a more mature, sexier, more intimate version of the original Glossier You, while still carrying a slight note of that same pepperiness. But it definitely makes me feel like a "real" grown up. This is absolutely a scent I'll want to wear around the holidays, because it's so cozy and warm, alongside feeling mature enough to give a little boost of confidence. It truly makes me feel like I have my life together!

Анонім

whoever said this is like a 'boyfriend' version of glossier you imo is wrong 3. don't get me wrong, its still a nice smell but its so mid (not interesting enough to wear by its own not simple enough to wear on its own either) that i dont even know where to place it. my nose get's why its a part of the glossier family of scents but my head cant grasp exactly how. if you're looking for a grown up version of glossier you i'd say there's better stuff out there as i feel these scents are quite different.

It’s a softly sweet cloud of santal cream…I’m not sure where the sweet comes from (the violet, perhaps? The ambroxan? Science side of Fragrantica, explain? The initial sandalwood scent was quite strong, but after a few seconds it mellowed to a nice skin hugging scent that made clear why they call this a hug in a bottle.

Holy crap this is so good! I never smelt glossier's stuff until yesterday and had to pick up two from the line. So cozy and comforting, and so unique; I’ve never smelt anything like this before. I love that they're not super strong so they're great for daily wear :) I think Doux is the most unisex too.

Анонім

Emma from Perfumerism described this as a "cozy home away from home" scent, and I think that descriptor does it justice! It's very cozy, but also a little witchy, and a little cottagecore.

I've been wearing You Doux for a few days now and I have to admit, I wasn't a fan at first. I smelled it whenever I went into Sephora as I heard Glossier's scents were similar to Not a Perfume in which they were skin-like scents. The You line always perplexed me, as I felt their scent profiles never made sense and rather than blending into a unique scent, always became disjointed and incoherent to the nose. Recently though, I went back in to Sephora to smell You Doux as I was looking for a new perfume, and I wanted to give Glossier a chance again. Looking at the scent profiles, I suspected Doux would be more likeable to my nose. I spritzed it onto my arm and went about my day with it, smelling it It starts off very strongly of incense, but once laid onto the skin it settles down and you get that musky, ambery side of the perfume I love so much. The palo santo, frankincense, and myrrh blend very well with the ambery base notes while the violet provides a femininity to the scent that creates a beautifully rich and complex scent when paired with vanilla lotions or oils on the skin. It's warm and sweet, but the incense smell might draw people away. Me personally, I love the bohemian, esoteric side of the perfume, it provides an allure and complexity that the perfume needs. I've never smelled anything so good before. You Doux lasts for a long time. While don't expect it to stay floral or incense like for as long as it lasts, the amber base will sustain itself for quite a long time without reapplication. The strongest note is the palo santo, and that along with the base will seep off your skin. While you move your arms, your body, your hair, you will get glimpses of the perfume and it smells heavenly, like you're in a chapel and they just walked down the aisle with that ball of incense. I feel like I'm one of the wise men bringing baby Jesus his gifts of gold frankincense and myrrh. There's a sexiness to it that distorts and perverts the holy connotation thanks to the base and the sweet violet top, amplified if paired with Not a Perfume or another amber scent. Who should buy?: Those looking for a skin-like scent who have religious trauma but still find esoteric aspects of the church beautiful. If you like semi-strong scents. People will notice when you are close to them/hug them and they will compliment it. Wear over vanilla scented oils and lotions to bring out the sweetness a bit more and it turns into a very sexy scent. Great for day or nighttime and will be appropriate for formal or business settings if applied properly. Great value for 100mL bottle, being priced at $116. I will have to look into Glossier's You line way more now.

Okay so the first time I sprayed this, I was kind of underwhelmed — like, it just felt... fine? Nothing super exciting. But you have to give this one time, because it really grows on you the more you wear it. Once it settles into your skin it's genuinely lovely — like a soft, creamy hug with this warm woodiness underneath. It's cozy without being heavy, and it has that signature "smells like you but better" thing the You line does so well, just with a richer, more grounded twist. This is officially in my summer rotation now. If your first impression was lukewarm, don't write it off — give it a few wears before you decide. It's a slow burn but so worth it.

No perfume has ever smelled like this perfume. It does not have the burn of any alcohol in the fragrance- it is pure milk and cream and perfection. I have tried perfumes with close to the same notes because I want this perfume to LAST FOREVER and am willing to spend the money on a more expensive perfume for that reason, BUT nothing has ever even come CLOSEEEEEE. Please glossier make like an extract version or something i will spend all my money i will give you my home anything. I live in the Texas heat nothing that smells good lasts my life is tragic.

This scent is my new favorite! It smells clean and put together but also cozy cabin vibes. It is a year round scent that can be layered with other perfumes! It lasts a long time, and won’t give out headaches to those around you!

I love this scent so much, one of my favorite parfumes, it is soft creamy and woody, definetely not sweet and it really calms me down, makes me feel like myself. The sad thing about it is that it doesnt last on my skin , so i always have to spray a lot
