They need to bring it back
Someone gave me a miniature of this, and I just spilled some on my fingers trying to open it. It's soo delicious, can't wait to wear it for real and see if it works for me!
Am I the onlynwhen clearly smelling the predecessor to Lancôme La Nuit in this one? It like a gentler, less spicy version of the original La Nuit.
Very sexy and elegant, SUPER unfortunate that she's discontinued, though, because I love wearing her on my date-nights! You can find this for not too much online so I recommend her if you're interested in a mature floral with hints of sweetness!
This to me smells just like Maison Alhambra Glacier Belle.
It's December 2024 but here am I reminiscing about my favourite fragrance of all time, Miracle Forever. Sometimes I wonder why on earth did Lancome choose to to discontinue this? I know it has been years, but I can't get over it. La Vie Est Belle could never replace this jewel. Yes, LVEB is a beauty in its own way BUT it's just not hitting the same. NO WAY😂 Petition for Lancome to bring back Miracle Forever! Like pleasee, instead of Lancome continuously releasing La Vie Est Belle flankers, they might as well re-release Miracle Forever. Please, make us Miracle Forever girlies happy once again🥲
There's a strong resemblance to Angel eau croisiere
Just procured a vintage bottle of this, can't wait to test this one! LVEB + anis could be gorgeous. Hope it's not spoiled 🤞 Miracle Forever is definitely similar to La Vie Est Belle, but I like it more! It's powdery and tart, and it tingles the nose with patchouli. The anise makes it special. Maybe Lancome will come up with a LVEB flanker that features anise or licorice. That would make me very happy!
I am reducing my collection and have a bottle for sale. I am in Australia. Please PM me if you are interested.
This was La Vie Est Belle before La Vie Est Belle. I don’t like LVEB, but I loved this one for special nights out. My sister gifted me a bottle when I was in college, and I felt so grown-up and sensuous wearing it. It’s more floral and less screechy-sweet than LVEB. It felt more elegant compared to the current mainstream fruitchollis (most of which I am bored to death of). Sure, this lady is very sweet from the blackcurrant and vanilla (yummy), but it’s also rich, romantic and sensual, it has a mystique to it. And I love my sweeter scents to have a mystical element to them, like Lolita Lempicka for example (no, they don’t smell anything alike, but they both have a sparkling anise and an earthy/herbaceous/powdery element that conjures the feeling of magic and enchantment). I can smell the elegant powderiness of the florals in Miracle Forever, the mischievous sparkle of anise, a subtle sultry smokiness from incense, a rich and earthy patchouli base. It was so feminine…the ad with the bewitching looking woman in an understated but sexy black dress and the full moon behind her actually really matches the scent. When La Nuit Tresor first came out, I had silently hoped that it would smell like Miracle Forever (or better, a rebranded version of it), but nope! La Nuit Tresor, like LVEB, is also too screechy, heavy and sharp for my tastes, too many fruit and sweet notes competing for attention.
I get a medicinal, mentholated scent that doesn't match up with the notes at all. Strange.
Hard pass on this! Black currant, anise and patchouli are scents I dislike at the best of times, and in combination they are unbearable. Modest performance and a lovely bottle do not improve the fragrance.
Just a "pretty" smell without much personality, so I pass.
Not a dupe at all, but Lanvin Eclat de Nuit has a similar black currant gourmand vibe. Eclat being fresher less vanillyish though. I own both.
This was my all time favourite perfume. So shattered they discontinued such a beauty!! Can anyone recommend dupes??
Ever since I finished a bottle of this almost ten years ago and missed an opportunity to get another one before it got discontinued I've been looking for an alternative that would be close enough to Miracle Forever. Though there is definitely a similarity to La Vie Est Belle, it was not enough to satisfy my need for Miracle Forever. Today, not even thinking about Miracle Forever, I got myself Angel Muse and was surprised at the similarity of it to my memory of MF (apart from the chocolatey note in Angel Muse). So it was interesting to then come here and see all the reviewers comparing it to the original Angel (which I vaguely remember trying and not being impressed, so cannot compare).
Miracle forever has this amazing scent of berries and vanilla. Very elegant and sensual scent and it has a quite light yet a warm feel to it. This is also the perfume that made people stop and wonder what kind of perfume I was wearing. I have never received that much compliments when I am wearing perfume except for this one. Even though it's not a personal favorite I do think it deserves its praise for being such a likable and sophisticated scent.
I just want it back..i have saved it soooo long, i saved it only for special occassions, I got it from my son when he saved his money from his birthday to buy his mama for her birthday, will never throw away the bottle, it's soo special for me!
It will always be a miracle to me. How I was impressed by him... Everything passed away, all my love for him. The only thing stayed in my memory are my feelings surrounded by my signature perfume...miracle forever.
Had to add----this is Polge and Ropion's first try for what would later become La Vie Est Belle. You can definitely smell the DNA for LVEB in Miracle Forever. For LVEB, they simply decreased the floral notes and put more emphasis on the gourmand quality with greater focus on patch and the sweetness.
it was a perfume that i bought in the plane in the air duty free; because i could not try it before i was telling myself "you should be in one of your lucky days otherwise you are screwed"... i badly needed a perfume at that moment cause i had none with me and i hade left only the option to get any perfume available they have on that flight... i opened it and i was afraid to find it far from my expectations or far from my style... i sprayed some in the air so that it would not stuck on my skin in case i don't like it and buy another one when we land... when i smelled it... i was like "thank you my God" ... i sprayed it all over me with too much confidence and slept the rest of the flight so happy and impatient to reach the destination... i loved it and i still love it but unfortunately i no longer can find it... it is a wonderful combination between sweet and spicy notes, it remains warm and sweet really for a long time and you can smell it there after days in your clothes
This was the first perfume I ever owned back to 09, I found it on sale online, and the reason I bought it was because I loved the colour of the bottle (Yes, I had absolutely no idea about perfume what so ever, and no idea what I was buying either), and I liked the original version. Unsurprisingly, I didn't like it at all. It was way too sweet and vanilla for my taste. I did try to wear it, but it was indeed way too strong for Queensland's hot climate. Now I think back it would make a great fall/winter perfume. Think back although it wasn't the right one for me, it wasn't bad. It's a lot better than LVEB. It's kind similar to Miss Dior Le Parfum, except Le Parfum is not sweet at all (which is why I love it). Yes, it was also very long lasting. I remember it lasted weeks on my coat. Sold it on eBay last year. It's a lesson learnt - never, ever buy perfume before testing, no matter how cheap it can be. It's a waste of money most of the time.
Miracle Forever was one of my all time favorite scents! We should make a petition online for Lancome to bring it back!
For me,miracle forever is not a gourmand As always,my skin amplifies patch,so it's kind of sharp...it opens with lots of black current, florals, star anise and of course patchouli But it dries down to a lovely vanilla, patchouli, black current combo and I think star anise and almond make it this much tasty, charming and unique..florals become very faint and vanilla rounds fruitchouli sharpness..I really like it For me,miracle forever is not that sweet, indeed it's kind of bitter-sweet..it's powerful, elegant and sensual I can't see similarities between this and miracle but I like both of them Can't get why lancome has discontinued such a great fragrance?!!this one, miracle so magic and lancome connexion are all fragrances I regret their absence in perfume world ❤❤❤❤ لانکوم میراکل بدون کوچکترین شباهتی به میراکل، عطر جذاب و قوی هست میراکل فور اور برای من نه گورماند هست و نه زیادی شیرین،البته شیرین هست اما رگه هایی از تلخی و همچنین اسپایس داره که مانع از این میشه که یه سوپرسوییت خوشمزه بشه مطابق معمول،پوست من،پچولی رو بزرگنمایی میکنه،و اینجا هم جزو نت های غالب هست شروع میراکل فور اور با مقادیر زیادی انگورسیاه، پچولی، ادویه بادیان ختایی و ترکیبی از روایح گلی با محوری صدتومانی همراه هست در نتیجه شروع عطر تیزی خاص چایپرهای فروتچولی محور رو داره اما با گذر زمان،وانیل به زیبایی تیزی های عطر رو دربرمیگیره و تندی اون رو مهار میکنه و حاصل کار یه فروتچولی وانیلی اسپایسی بسیار جذاب و شیک خواهد بود که بشخصه بسیار دوسش دارم ماندگاری و پخش خیلی خوبی داره و در هوای گرم اصلا خودش رو خوب نشون نمیده این عطر رو به تمام کسانی ک دنبال یه گورماند و یا فروتچولی بالغ و سکسی و مدرن هستن توصیه میکنم باتوجه به اینکه این عطر دوست داشتنی مثل خیلی دیگه از خوب های لانکوم،،میراکل سو مجیک،،کونکشن و... دیسکانتینیو شده توصیه میکنم اگه جایی دیدید سریع بخریدش
I wish they would bring back this perfume; loved this blend of black currant, vanilla, & just the right amount of patchouli. I did notice a slight skin reaction wherever applied (not sure what I was allergic to), but it was still very much a favorite. I remember being disappointed when it was no longer available for purchase at the Lancôme counter.
This was so beautiful. They should re-release it as a flanker to La Vie Est Belle, maybe a 'sensuelle' flanker because it is not as crass and is so very seductive...why not? They both share the same blackcurrant + patchouli theme and the noses behind the 2 fragrances are the same. It's more sophisticated, elegant, romantic... and way sexier than LVEB. The patchouli is so gorgeous here, reminiscent of the patch in Angel, earthy and a little dirty but less 'brutal'. Miracle Forever starts out deliciously with spiced blackcurrants drenched in vanilla (similar to Armani Si's blackcurrant liquer opening, but spicier with anise)...then 'prettified' with romantic florals and cozy almonds in the heart. Then imagine all those pretty notes placed against an erotic dark background of smoky incense, rich syrupy vanilla and deep earthy patch. Yummy! It smells like a standard fantasy date night to me. You in your perfect LBD wearing fine lingerie underneath, looking impossibly flawless. Your love is a perfect gentleman, he brings you a bouquet of your favorite flowers, a box of fine candy and greets you with a kiss on the hand. You go wining, dining and dancing. The air is thick with laughter, flirtation and pure happiness. After all that, you go outside and lie together on the grass to gaze at the stars. You share passionate kisses by the moonlight, rolling around on the damp soil together, your expensive dress getting ruined but you're too high on love and lust to notice or care. I really loved this one. A shame that it's discontinued. update: I tried La Nuit Tresor hoping it would smell like MF, but it didn't :( While I liked it, La Tresor Nuit is much more fruity, less spicy/smoky, and the patchouli is less earthy. MF is still the sexier, bewitching one, it's less shrill, and more husky and deep. Ugh...please bring this back.
As the original Miracle is a lovely daytime scent, this one is perfect for party nights. It's mysterious and interesting. Anise, patchouli, vanilla and incense go really well together. Amazing scent, a great love potion.
absolutely fantastic
Picked this up because of my interest in Insense/Patchouli fragrances, the opening is really nice, very fruity, get lovely dark berries. Neat, warm and woody drydown, get a real sense of the incense. Nice, shame it's deleted.
@Fizzy It's been already discontinued.
