This was a blind buy based off of a recommendation online. The fact that I already liked the original LNLH and own the parfum, as well as the fact this was copying a discontinued flanker piqued my interest. After a couple of weeks of maturation, it’s good. I like the blue take on the DNA. In my collection it feels a little redundant but I guess I can use it when I want only vibes without using the actual thing. Performance/projection is not the most impressive though, but that way change after more maturation. Overall, I like it. For a low price, you get what is basically a copy of a discontinued LNLH, which is a mass appealing DNA that works nearly everywhere, yet shines at night as implied in the name. A worthy option for a sexy date night fragrance, but you’d better hope your woman comes in close.
For me I get sweet, ginger, and mint right off the get go, the ginger and mint give it this fizzy slight menthol smell. I can catch a bit of floral notes and Patchouli. Pretty classy scent!
Lattafa Al Nashama Caprice opens with a fresh aromatic sweetness built around lavender, supported by a fruity citrus that gives the fragrance lift without becoming the focal point. The sweetness has a distinctly blue character, while the aromatics provide a clean backbone. A noticeable baby wipe-like cleanliness runs through the opening, accompanied by a faint bubblegum sweetness that never becomes distracting. Despite the fresh profile, the fragrance feels moderately dense with a smooth, lightly powdery texture. As the fragrance settles, the opening sweetness blends seamlessly into the aromatic accord. The powdery facets become more noticeable while dry woods emerge underneath, accompanied by a pleasant spicy edge. A subtle warmth develops through the heart, transforming the fragrance into a slightly sweet, powdery, warm woody composition without losing its aromatic identity. The drydown gradually shifts away from the powdery character as the dry woods take over. The earlier aromatics and sweetness melt into the woody base, while a gentle amber warmth provides restrained sweetness and depth. A slight powdery quality lingers around the edges, tying the drydown back to the earlier stages of the fragrance. Overall, this is a nice aromatic fragrance with a warm ambery drydown. I enjoyed both the opening and the drydown, though the powdery mid was my least favorite stage of the wear. It offers solid performance, a smooth and well-blended composition, and good longevity for the price. Score: 7.5/10
Reminds me boss the scent intense Good frag for value Masculine and sexy
If you already have Guess Seductive Homme Blue, then you have this one. They are pretty much the exact same fragrance. Freshened up La Nuit De L'homme. It's really nice.
La Nuit de l'Homme DNA, basically... to me it leans like JPG Le Male Elixir with a smokier edge. Sweet, spicy, a little powdery, and it just smells sexy. I'm not great with cardamom so it reads as cinnamon to me, but whatever it is, it works. My wife likes it, which pretty much seals it. Ignore the gaudy bottle... Personal subjective score: 8.5/10
im glad ive ordered a sample first, turns out im not really into cardamom? they say its very intimate and it has to be true, I barely could feel it. might comeback to try it later, but for now for me thats a skip.
First off, this bottle is ridiculous. Almost "sex panther" levels of embarrassing lol. Buuuuut once you get past the gaudy presentation what you get is a sexy scent. Slightly sweet and opulent, and oriental. If you like BR540 but don't like how "over worn" it is, try this. It's in that lane and smells amazing for a couple hundos less. This was a blind buy off a Youtuber's recommendation and I was not disappointed with it. They said this is cloning a YSL (bleu electique, I think) tho I have yet to smell that one myself. Caprice is just a great scent on it's own merits. I think of fragrances as vibes and this one is a sexy, date night, playful type of frag. Always a compliment puller and a dumb reach. Easy to wear, except maybe in a professional, corporate setting. Other than that you'll feel like James Bond with this one. Beast level projection and longevity! 8/10
One of the only times the Dumb Lattafa Twist® actually paid off. Based on the legendary Yves Saint Laurent La Nuit de l'Homme Bleu Electriqué, but with and amber twist and a hint of cinnamon. This one was earth shattering in the fragcom when first released, carried a ridiculous score in here of 4.60+ for the first 5 months it was out. Two years later, the smoke has cleared and it sits at a 4.23 which I think is a little low for what you get. So what do you get? You get what I like to think of as a modernized take on La Nuit de l'Homme with some hints of Bleu Electriqué. The classic DNA is there and everything is bolstered and stronger, an added cinnamon note in the middle (not listed in here but I'm other sites and I definitely smell it) and a very nice amber base. I do not get any mint. This is sweeter and more powdery than the original. The blending is very good (especially considering this is Lattafa), and the performance is great. I own some vintage 2011 La Nuit, Bleu Electriqué, La Nuit EDP, Frozen Cologne, and I used to have Le Parfum. They all bore me, but I still enjoy Al Nashama Caprice.
smells superb for value.. blink buy positive.
Update: 6 Months Maturation *I faintly remember when I first sprayed it it was giving a hefty alcohol kick for the first 2 min. That is gone for me. *It has improved in terms of smell. *Usage was okay for warm weather now it's stronger, sweeter (resin like) and darker but with much better smoothness. *The lavander has matured nicely and blended with the base creating a sweet dark lavander smell. *Strength has increased noticeably. Reminds me of Valentino BIR coral fantasy. Base is similar and sweetness is similar vibe wise. One is apple tobacco the other is lavander tobacco. FYI the Valentino is more subtle and safe. This can be a bit overbearing with the lavander accord for some noses. Lovely in the air, Harder to like when its clinging to you in the heat. Best for colder days and weather. Occasions: I wouldn't believe this is a cheapy based on smell alone. Gives me distant penhaligon vibes. More mature smelling for sure. Date, formal occasion and casual for winter and spring outings.
It's a middle of the pack, don't offend anyone, boring scent on my skin. It had limited silage for 1.5 hours, barely detectable on skin by 6 hours. Completely office safe. To me it's not interesting enough for a date or party. I wear it when I really don't want to offend anyone, but still want to smell nice for a few hours.
Lack a lot of performance on sillage, other than that, it's okay.
Layer with Prada Luna Rossa Ocean EDP and thank me later
Best value for money fragrance that I can think of
If you like LNDH then you will go crazy for this one. Smells a lot like the original La Nuit but it has much better projection and longevity. Truth be told, I have never tried Bleu Èlectrique but I understand it was just a stronger version of the current LNDH formulation, more like how it was when LNDH was first released. I cannot believe how amazing this fragrance is for the price. It's so crowd-pleasing and just dark and sensual that you cannot go wrong if you like Iris based fragrances. Please do yourself a favor and get this fragrance.
This would be great if it wasn't so damn powdery. If you're cool with a powdery fragrance this is absolutely blind buy safe. Otherwise steer clear.
Imo it's closer to OG LNDH than Bleu Electrique...
First impression…fireballs, the candy. An aniseed type thing happening with the extremely synthetic cardamom. Will update this after i get more wears in
If you look past the bombastic Lattafa packaging, this is actually a very solid men's perfume that sits in the realm of YSL L’Homme and Versace Eros Flame. I’m not sure if it’s meant to be a direct dupe of any designer fragrances, but it definitely smells like a fairly close cousin. I bought it as a gift after going a bit overboard trying viral Lattafa scents. The scent is wonderful! But I also know my husband will rarely reach for it because perfume starts with the packaging. You want this small ritual to be a tactile pleasure, a feast for your eyes, something that makes you marvel at good design. Plopping off a gigantic plastic cover that feels cheap in your hand is the complete opposite.
I have had this for a year now and it HAS matured beautifully. This is a unique spicy and distinctive aromatic. Longevity and silage are both very good. The silage particularly is lovely. Now it's a love from me.
Was expecting like a blue fresh vibe of fragrance but Is totally the opposite, soapy and powdery sweet smell it is not bad but not my type of scent and I love sweet scents. It lasts almost to the next day on clothes on skin is almost 8 to 10+ hours pretty good but not for me, strong and overwhelming headache type.
Great fragrance! Currently wearing a different varient of LNDH, which I absolutely love!
Disclaimer: I have not smelled LNDH: Bleu Electrique, nor original LNDH. Caught me by surprise. Maybe my thinking got too influenced by the blue coloring, expecting a roughly unidentified, fresh, blue fragrance. But what I got instead was... a "cloyingly creamy" texture that I did not expect. And though I appreciate it, it's not the kind of smell I enjoy. I'm having similar problems with it as with the PDM Althair scent profile, even though those two are distinctively different. You wouldn't expect it by its note breakdown. Citrus, ginger, lavender, mint? Sounds like a textbook "freshie", doesn't it? It's not. Don't get me wrong, it's a smooth, well-rounded, comforting scent. But it's heavy. It's thick. It sticks to you. It doesn't breathe. It isn't airy, it doesn't flow. Instead, it sticks firmly to itself and generates its own, comforting, intimate bubble. And if what I'm describing sounds exactly like something you'd like, then it's a great fragrance for you. Just don't make my mistake and don't expect it to be a "Sauvage / Bleu de Chanel, but different". Expect it to be a creamy, dense but extremely smooth, tighly knit bundle of intimacy and contentedness.
I have never smelled bleue electrique so I don’t know how close Caprice is to it, but as we’ve all smelled la nuit de l’homme we have a reference point. The opening on this to me is pretty rough, sweet, and having a big dose of menthol. After about the first 10 minutes pass it slowly gets less sweet and more soft spicy, the cardamom coming through evidently. 30 minutes to an hour in it becomes very close, to me, to la nuit de l’homme. I’m not sure what bleue electrique is supposed to smell like, but there’s a good sense of lavender in here, something I don’t think I’m a fan of. I’ll have to try it a few more times, I might like it.
No, its not a great clone of Blue Electrique. It's quite similar but clearly a poorer, cheaper substitute. harsh opening, smooth dry down but morphs into a generic chemical-y cardamom in a couple of hours. I just didn't feel like buying a full bottle because it's not a good replacement for the OG.
Al Nashama Caprice surprised me in the best way. It opens with a smooth spicy freshness that feels classy and refined, then dries down into a warm lavender-amber scent that smells clean, rich, and extremely well blended. It gives me that high-end designer vibe without being overpowering. I’ve gotten great performance from it, and it’s one of those fragrances that feels confident, comforting, and easy to wear almost anywhere.
Al Nashama Caprice by Lattafa is a fresh, spicy aromatic fragrance centered around cardamom, ginger, and lavender with a woody amber base. It opens with a sharp, slightly synthetic citrus-spice blast that settles into a cleaner lavender-mint heart, giving it a “barbershop” style freshness. The dry-down is warm and woody with amber, cedar, and vetiver, making it more wearable and smooth than the opening suggests. Performance is generally moderate, with decent longevity but only average projection after the first couple of hours. Overall, it’s a budget-friendly alternative to designer blue-spicy fragrances, though its sharp opening and somewhat synthetic character may not appeal to everyone. In my opinion, this fragrance is the best dupe/clone of YSL La Nuit de l'Homme Bleu Electrique. I've tried all the other ones.
A mix of cardamom and a powdery note, I don't feel it my by myself but others told me it's a heavy and strong scent, maybe I got noseblind
It smells decent, very powdery lavender and a sweet dry down. The cardamom for me isnt as prominent as the lavender. You cant go wrong with it for a daily spring fragrance. However it mighr get cloying in humidity and higher temperatures. My only issue is its performance, its very very mediocre on my skin. Projects for half an hour and then its gone, you can only smell it upclose on skin for about 3 hours maximum (skin scent). Gave it a few months and nothing changed.
