This can be a daily driver. Might be a bit on the weak side during winter, but if you wear it inside or somewhere with air conditioning, it will pull through. Lasts for a long time while projecting nicely for a little over two hours. The lemon in the opening might not be for everyone, but it doesn't last long before becoming a smooth scent. That might have to do with the fact that I had just purchased it, might be better in a couple of weeks. Anyway, great scent. I also loved the packaging. I have never seen anything like it before. It really impressed me with the LEDs. Wasteful AF, but still impressive.
Am sadly very disappointed in this blind buy so far The packaging was great Opened it and sprayed it ... Not bad .. lemony and sweat ... A bit grean and heavy to wear in this summer heat (hell) Then about an hour or so it dried down into this sweet and creamy sandal wood and tea It projected strongly for about an hour and became a skin skin not long after that but lasted for over 6 hours Decent overall nothing bad or crazy good just clearly need more maturing Second day come and i spray this thing ... I promise am not exaggerating but after that lemon toned down i straight up started smelling like i was working in a slughter house ... Raw meat It just made me sick and i thought there must be something wrong but no ... every time i smell the shirt i sprayed it on i gag its unbelievable Its been 2 days now and i still can smell it on that shirt Did a bad thing and decided to spray it on my brother..... He enjoyed it ... I still smelled that raw meat underneath that lemon Outright disgusting Am writing this only after 3 days of owning it so i will give it another try in a month or so and I really hope that maturing fix it or maybe there is just something wrong with my nose .... Or whatever chemical that makes me smell raw meat in this fragrance go away or something i don't know man this is -100 so far Fragrance that gives a headache is one thing ... One that can make you wanna vomit is another
Emeer is straight-up bold, loud citrus right in your face. It has surprisingly good performance for such a lemon-heavy fragrance (who knew that was possible?). Unfortunately, it also has a synthetic undertone that becomes a bit tiring and annoying after a while. It's not a very complex or interesting scent either, and the herbal notes give it a slightly old-fashioned, '90s fragrance vibe. Overall, I think it's ok, but nothing extraordinary. 4/10
At first you may not like it but after few uses and feeling the dry down, you will start loving it. Quite long lasting, could be used year round, i smell raw ginger in it but not in a bad way, also not a vibrato or Tygar ginger. Worth to be in your collection. I got compliments on the drydown.
I don't remember if I reviewed this fragrance when I first got it a year or two ago, but I have to say that it's become one of the favorites in my collection. At first I didn't care for it at all, I prefer "old fashioned" fragrances and this one just didn't hit the mark for me when I received it. After having let it sit in the cabinet and marry, it turns out that I LOVE it as a Summer scent... but not for the usual reasons. I HATE the heat and humidity and the bugs that those bring. As it turns out, Emeer is the best smelling insect repellent that's ever been made! It doesn't hurt that other people seem to really enjoy the fragrance, either. And even though most perfumes just don't "hold" on my skin, this one performs quite nicely for 8 hours or so. I'm not one of those people who are out to collect compliments on my fragrance... but strangely, this one just pulls them constantly from strangers passing by. On the other hand, my wife HATES this perfume and says that it reminds her of the scent of NAIR, the old hair remover from the 1970s... funnily enough, she doesn't complain much when we're outside in the evening heat and aren't getting attacked by mosquitoes and chiggers and flies. Isn't that the weirdest POSITIVE review yet?
I’m not able to analyze a scent by breaking it down into its individual components. I have an ordinary sense of smell, like probably most people who buy perfume. In my opinion, the perfume has a slight citrus note—it’s not even fresh, but somehow strangely stuffy. It makes me feel warmer, and I was hoping it would be suitable for summer.
Just got this. Beautiful scent.
Never sniffed the OG CC T&C, but my take on Lattafa Emeer is that it's not too shabby of a fragrance. It's definitely a heavy blast of lemon and Bergamot in the opening. I get the Juniper Berries and White Tea is nice and smooth. I get more Cedarwood than Sandalwood in the dry down. Macerate this for months definitely does help. I'd give this a 6.7 out of 10
If you not seen the presentation on this, it's pretty unique; the box opens and LED lights shine onto the bottle. This clone of Clive Christian Town & Country opens with a kind of effervescent metallic juniper berry, lemon, and sage combo that's aromatic and bright. It quickly settles into a fairly mature scent dominated by woody aromatics with a prominent white tea coming through over a base of creamy sandalwood. This is more of a gentleman's scent that I believe could hold its own in all seasons. I dig it. Where did I leave that folded Wall Street Journal?
It's a true Town & Country clone. I own the original bottle, but I want to say that instead of spending a lot of money on that brand, Lattafa Emeer is the right choice. 100% scent similar. However, maceration is required.
I like it. Its simple. My goal is to find an all rounder easy to wear daily when i dont want to think what to wear. And must be strong as well. So i bought a decant.outdoor, high heat humid malaysia, performs very well.
Over hyped, smeels mostly of lemon and it gets overwhelmingly sickening,it last for long, almost 2 days but performamce isn't as extraordinary as the longevity, it's harsh,it lacks smoothness,i think i have to agree with the rest of the haters that it smells like a very powerful citrusy body spray I don't know what to do with it cause I'm not going to where it anymore,I initially bought it with the intention to where it all this summer but is not my style, I'll pass to my father or my youngest brother if he can handle it...
This thing is strong when I first got it the projection wasn't crazy but now it easily fills a room. On skin I get 24 hours easy, on clothes it stays for dayssss. Incredible fragrance one of my faves.
It lacks a bit of vanilla to balance things out
Beast mode fragrance. Haven't put my nose on the OG, but this is incredible. Absolute room filler and performance is spectacular. 12 hours +. My most complemented fragrance in my collection. If you want attention, this is it. Extremely citrus forward, so if you don't like lemon or bergamot definitely skip it. But if you're looking to overpower every other persons perfume in your vicinity then 100% get your hands on this. Punches well well well above is weight as far as value for money goes.
Synthetic too Citrus heavy
That olibanum is the main character No Rating
I completely understand why some people mention lemon cleaner, but I beg to differ. While this specific scent profile is not universally loved, no fragrance truly is. For me, the heavy citrus vibe works beautifully, and it never completely dominates the entire composition. The real magic happens as it settles, transitioning into an incredibly pleasant dry down of sweet woody and resinous notes that offer a beautiful complexity if you take the time to search for the nuances. On my skin, the performance is exceptionally strong because I stay thoroughly moisturised with coconut oil, which gives the scent molecules the perfect base to cling to for hours. If you are searching for a powerful, citrusy, sweet woody scent with a masculine leaning profile, you cannot go wrong with this one.
I do not know the OG, but I really enjoy the scent, I don't know if I'm getting nose blind by this, I'm hoping after some maturation, the longevity and the silage gets better. For the price I got this, this is worth it. Nice presentation by the way.
The dry down reminds me too much to Thomas kosmala no 10 After 6 hours wearing this fragrance you still smell way to much. Really nice cheapy but please do not overspray this if you gonna travel on plane on a long ride bus 😐 people will suffocate around you.
Emeer is the first perfume I’ve ever owned that comes with actual lights built into the box, which is definitely a fun and unique touch. As for the fragrance itself, I enjoyed it at first. It’s incredibly loud and projects strongly, but after the opening it feels quite linear and, honestly, a bit boring. It’s not a bad fragrance by any means, but it leans very mature to my nose. It reminds me of those old-school powerhouse perfumes that were designed to cut through cigarette smoke and make sure everyone in the room noticed you. Personally, the only way I feel truly comfortable and confident wearing Emeer is with a suit at a formal evening event, preferably outdoors where there’s plenty of air circulation. In enclosed spaces, its strong presence can easily become overwhelming for the people around you.
If you like green tea, this is for you. Amazing fragance. It blew my mind. Actually good for any weather and time of the day IMO. The berries in the back are also an excellent complement of the citrus and the tea in the front, really really good.
I genuinelly created my account in fragrantica to give this review. This is an AMAZING fragrance, my favorites so far in life. It's not that citrusy, has much more wood and tea, but then the critus comes much more to kind of balance the fragrance and give it a lighter spirit that plays well with tea note but the woody base makes it very masculine. Love it.
I got this recently and the presentation is very ostentatious! LED lights in a faux velvet lined box for $25!!! As for the scent, I'm not really sure what to make of it, currently. It's not unpleasant at all but seems slightly "jumbled" and underdeveloped?? I have a feeling it may need to sit and mature as I get a sort of blast of citrus which dissipates immediately, dominated by a slightly "medicinal" artificial Oud accord (which isn't listed in any of the notes.) Longevity isn't as others have mentioned either. I still like it but hopefully it will improve with time.
Your basic bitch fragrance that smells like 99% of fragrances. Smell 1/10 Longevity 3/10 Sillage 3/10
Most disgusting parfume i ever used.
Definitely a polarizing scent. Not blind buy safe! It does smell medicine when sprayed into the air . It's like a thick herbal sweet lemon oil smell in the air. On skin though and when it projects off skin you don't really get that . This was way more lemony than expected. You get juniper sage in what I can only describe as old fashioned , it's lacks sharpness. Then a candied almost lemon head candy note comes in. Those two mix into a syrupy black lemon tea smell. With cardamom. As it continues to dry the olibanum ambergris and cashmere create the base. It almost smells like you rubbed some super strong lemon black tea onto an expensive cashmere cardigan . It smells classic with a bit of a niche quality . It gives me vibes of wearing a white suit drinking black tea lemonade in a small town. Performance is STRONG. It projects for 3 hours easily and sticks strong on skin for a good 7 hours before it becomes a normal skin scent. In total this is lasting 12 hours plus . You're going to need a shower to get this one off. Also the presentation is pretty fancy to say the least. The thing has freaking lights lol. So my opinion on this. I didn't like it. The herbals made this off-putting to me. I never get nauseous from a fragrance but this was borderline . The herbals having a weird smell combined with the strength is just a No for me. I do feel that an EDT version of this would be a lot better. This is totally an older gentleman fragrance. At least mid 30s. Do not blind buy!! While I do appreciate what they did with this fragrance I have to give it a 3/10 because it's making me nauseous.
I’ve got a sample of this and it’s legit blown me away. Sampled it without knowing anything about it apart from the name. It’s so addictive, masculine and captivating. I love it. Going to get my own bottle asap
As a dupe of CC town and country, as far as i can tell its basically 1 for 1. Absolutely incredible scent. It also seems to be just as strong and lasts as long (maybe just a tad shorter if anything but not much). Still strong projection and great longevity. If you havent tried town and country or this, it really smells similar to creed aventus absolu with the ambergris, but more soohisticated. Idk if its the sage or what but it smells like aventus absolus upgrade Update: I think its a bit more lemon and a tad less ambergris. Still very close though
This fragrance makes me smell like a bakers spice cabinet in the best way possible. fresh citrus & white tea, spicy cardamom & sage, a slight sweet tang from the juniper berry. I have to say I'm slightly biased due growing up in Scandinavia, this scent takes me back to when I was a little girl getting cardamom pancakes with blackcurrant jam on the sunniest day of Spring.
