no words can describe how i love this fragrance; especially the dry down. i find this fragrance unique and ideal for everyday use. i loveit!!!

I’ve had this on my wrists for an hour. I hate it. Headache inducing. Early aughts generic designer cologne vibes. Nauseating in the same vein as Dior Sauvage. Not feminine at all. I love a good unisex scent. I love tea scents! However, I have close to 100 perfumes and this is honestly the first one that I will need to shower off. I’m sad about it because there was so much online hype but I’m just thankful I tried the dupe before buying BDK.

Lattafa Liam Grey opens with a sweet, creamy accord supported by a floral iris rather than an immediately powdery one. A bitter tea-like facet runs through the composition, creating a pleasant contrast with the creamy sweetness, while a subtle jammy fig adds depth in the background. A woody backbone is already present from the start, and a faint chocolate-like nuance gives the opening an extra layer without becoming prominent. Despite the richness of these notes, the fragrance remains surprisingly airy and well blended. As it develops, the creamy accord stays at the forefront while the tea continues to provide a restrained bitterness that keeps the fragrance from becoming overly sweet or gourmand. The woods gradually become more noticeable, and the overall composition remains smooth, refined, and balanced. The interplay between the creamy elements, tea, woods, and subtle fig gives the fragrance a distinctive profile built on contrast rather than sweetness alone. By the drydown, the fragrance becomes noticeably woodier while retaining a trace of the bitter tea. The iris shifts into a more powdery character alongside the tonka, and a slight resinous quality emerges, likely from the labdanum. A restrained vanilla sweetness rounds out the base without overwhelming it, resulting in a smooth, powdery, woody finish that feels denser than the opening but never thick or heavy. Overall, this is a nice creamy lactonic iris fragrance with a well-balanced structure and a refined presentation. The tea provides enough contrast to keep the composition interesting, but it never becomes a dominant feature. While it isn’t the most exciting fragrance, it’s pleasant throughout the wear and feels smooth, high quality, and easy to enjoy. Score: 7.5/10

It is so strong, a bid Suffocating woody and creamy.

I was buying some perfumes as gifts to my friends and asked the shop owner to show me some good ones. I tried this one first and put it aside and told him to show me something else. This I'm keeping to myself, I really loved this perfume. Very disappointed by the performance and projection, I ended up have a decant on me to respray it outside. I compared to the extrait BDK, if you like the original, get this. You won't be disappointed at all.

Very non-offensive and unisex, but it has a bit of an identity crisis. It’s powdery, fruity, woody, and slightly green. Then there’s this ambery, caramel-like vanilla sweetness underneath everything. There’s a lot going on, but none of it feels especially memorable. I think there are much better options out there. I got it for around $15, so I can’t complain too much, but I also can’t imagine choosing this over other scent profiles. I guess it works as an all-season fragrance. It’s safe, easy to wear, and unlikely to bother anyone. Whatever, really. 4/10

I owned this previously but it never lasted longer than 1h on my skin before turning into a faint skin scent, even with 6 months maturation. I bought my bottle on Amazon and I have reason to believe it’s either a fake or a bad batch. I just bought a new bottle from an Arab store. Testing it in store, I realized how much better that batch was than the bottle I owned. It was smooth and so comforting. I love this DNA. And it’s blended so so well. I may be nose blind to this scent unfortunately; I’ve sprayed skin and clothes and even tried smelling it when my nose was especially sensitive to smells. Even with the new bottle, I’m unable to detect it. But I can smell other fragrances if I were to test it. I’ve tested White Regent Diamond and I had no problem smelling those notes, so I don’t have a problem with the Gris Charnel DNA. It must be something Lattafa is putting into Liam Grey that is causing nose blindness. This is gorgeous. Don’t expect any protection, even with the new bottles. This will be a skin scent and it will be cozy. If you want something that projects, I’d recommend looking at the actual Gris Charnel line or consider White Regent Diamond if it’s available in your region (it’s a Saudi brand and a slightly smoother coconuty version of Gris Charnel - in between the EDP and Extrait - but it is very strong). I’ve heard good things about Al Noor but it is much darker than Liam Grey, almost leather qualities. The store clerk called this a freshie and I can see why. It’s light. Can be an office or gym scent or daily errands. Or if you want comfort on a rainy day, go for it. I can’t see Liam Grey being anything more than that though. Please beware the Amazon sellers, don’t fall for a fake bottle like I did!

Just an easy grab for me.

I love "comforting" fragrances and Liam Grey fits the bill. The opening is too spicy with the cardamom but then it settles and balances with the milky fig and black tea. It gives me some type of vacation resort/ cruise vibes but also rainy fall day. I get pretty good longevity and projection. There is a noticeable cloud around me for the first few hours. I think letting it sit for a while will settle that cardamom opening. Probably my favorite from Lattafa so far

It's ok. When i smelt it from the nozzle, I gagged. It smelt like fart spray, or like the manufacturer decided to stick the bottle up their ass before packaging it. After spraying it on my skin and waiting, the dry down smelt good, and it is heavy, sweet, and woody. It would be cloying in warm weather, and is best suited for fall and winter. I definitely see this as a cologne, it's very woody and too masculine to be unisex. It's too sweet for me, I don't like it, and it is a distinctively Arab scent. It doesn't smell sophisticated, it smells like a man who works in a mall kiosk, sells electronics, and wears fake designer.

I haven't smelt this before but the fig freshener wet dog review got me crying

Imagine the cheapest, synthetic fig air freshener sprayed all over a stinking, wet dog. Absolute poetry! Every self-respecting chav simply must have this exclusive garbage in his collection to look "classy" outside the local corner shop.

I got Liam going on 2 years now and I still have well-over half my bottle left (about 3/4). Its honestly bc I live in Florida and Fall/Winter is short lived here, plus it doesn't take much of Liam for it to radiate off my skin/clothes, and it lasts a full 7 to 8 hr work shift. Liam has really intensified over those two years and has become so rich, smooth, potent and just lasts FOREVER! Infact, when Id initially purchased Liam, I used to over-spray (bout 6 spritzes) and didnt realize how cloying it was when I did that, and so I would NEVER get a compliment, nor "Be noticed" for my scent. I'd eventually realized that my co-workers just didnt wanna be rude bc my scent had become so cloying by doing just the 6 spritzes! LMAO! Nowadays I do no more than 4 spritzes and I get positive feedback on top of LOVING this scent! Was thinking bout getting the O.G. Gris Charnel, but evidently this "Dupe" is to close to the real thing that itd be redundant it I purchased the real thing, plus I really like Liam's bottle design! Lol! Liam is a total GEM in my collection, and although I have O Plenty of "Niche frags", Im good with this truley amazing Lattafa clone! CHEERZ!

Opening has very prominent cardamon to me and tea. Instantly reminds me of chai. Drys down vanillic to me. Solid performance throughout the day. About 8 hours. Comes of to me as masculine leaning for sure, I think it's from the spicyness. The vibe of the scent is dark acedemia (Dark Intellectual)

Love fig. Love tea. Wanted to love this one, but it smells like neither of those things. It’s so incredibly masculine to me. I have no idea how people think this is a cozy scent.

It smells.. like pizza. Like a Herby pizza. Woody. I think its the sandalwood mixing with the cardamom. It's clinging to it, like, hard. Slightly sweet, too. First savoury and then.. sweet edge. Its very tonka heavy too. Its a tonka spicy.. pizza? Mines been macerating months.

I LOVE this scent. It’s a rainy day in a bottle, which doesn’t sound great, but it’s a cool crisp rainy day in the fall back when you could smell a storm coming. It’s not sweet but it caries a warmth to it that makes it unisex.

Super cozy and warming. I regret letting go of my bottle as it was just starting to evolve, I was not mature at that time. Otherwise it is great.

My first purchase from Lattafa, and I loved it! I went in with a clean slate. I hadn't sampled any of the mainstream Arab viral hits, and I hadn't tried BDK Gris Charnel either. The notes blend together beautifully. I love the spices, the black tea, and the sandalwood-vanilla base. The composition is comforting, warm, and perfectly unisex. At the same time, there's a certain sharpness to it, a bit of a punch in the face. Eventually, I also tried the original BDK Gris Charnel. They're very, very close, but BDK's version is smoother, more rounded, and definitely smells higher quality. I ended up buying a few more fragrances from Lattafa, but I didn't like a single one of them. Something about their performance feels as aggressive as their social media marketing. But I'll definitely keep exploring brands from the Middle East.

So much conflicting information about this one. More male, more female. Well... it just smells like a day at the spa to me. (Day 2) Very gender neutral. Oef after drying down it is spicy/maybe to manly for me. Have to try this on my skin.

Definitely give this one a chance to macerate. The initial sniff was almost repulsive, and not even a month later it already smells so much smoother and wearable. Still too masculine for my tastes but it’s an addictive scent that wafts several feet out from the bottle even with the cap on. Smells like a comfy sweater, in a way.

It's probably dirt cheap for a reason... • Synthetic hot mess with a cloying, plasticky, irritating note. One of my worst blind buys ever (Batch 03/2026). • I usually stick to dupes of niches and flankers, but I tossed this one in the basket to get free shipping. • I found the same plasticky note that I dislike immensely in Bade'e al Oud - Honor and Glory. • Hopefully, it'll improve substantially over time (like the other did), since it's presently unwearable. • 3/10 Disappointing.

I don't remember the OG to have this much of a middle eastern twang but it has grown on me, after resting for quite a while, this scent is a cozy and soothing warm woody vanilla scent

Never smelled Gris Charnel and I just wanted to try a perfume with this profile since Ive heard a lot about it. Lattafa disappoints to the point of not using it even as air freshener... 1/5 buys so far, this is one of the buys though so do know I havent added it to the "no fkn way" statistic side yet. I must add, its very hard to make me "no fkn way" feel about a perfume, since I dont feel like that about any of my other blind buys - which is nearly all I have in the collection. Lattafa just has a talent for it. So I was not expecting anything but "I might reach for it 3 times before I give it away" AT BEST, at worst I expected a majorly hyped perfume by Lattafa 3 years ago influencers told me smelled like Angel's Share it was "sooo sexy omg you wouldnt believe it until you smell (buy) it." No one sells Lattafa in this whole city. A decant? Of a $25 perfume? This leaves you in the "might as well buy a FB of it then" situation. Upon arrival I enthusaistically sprayed this "Angel's Share dupe" and instead of Angels, Krampus, blackout drunk on cheap spiced whiskey appeared before my eyes and the fear took my breath away. Made my eyes water he stank so bad of alcohol/liquor and then he stole a bag of my chocolate covered dates. Then ate them - plastic bag and all. Thats fine just please dont hurt me, I screamed. I promise I do anything, just never come to me on a Christmas in May again! He said what! Christmas isnt in May! I said I know you're drunk! Go! He said, Oh shit! Well, I'm not sorry, but you need to beware of worse than me, woman! Never trust ppl who will lie like they breathe for a dollar! I begged him, Krampus, get some help thats a LOT of spiced cinnamon whiskey you just drank, and Burnett's too?! Youre not 16 anymore! Have some dignity! I went to try to give him an intervention despite my fear but the smell, it disturbed my soul so I gave him $30 for the bottle he drank he said I owed him for since he said he'd smother me to my death for Christmas if I didnt, to leave, and instead of saying its not even Christmas yet I gave up. Every now and then for the next 3 years Ive warned others of the dangers of buying Lattafas based on perfume influencers with a list of the Lattafas they just raved about in the video description that they earn a percentage of the sales from by letting them smell the bottle Drunken Krampus dropped as he staggered out sideways, as it smells exactly like that demonic Christmas dupon that was delivered to your doorstep. Maybe it has changed about 5% or maybe thats just a sign therapy HAS since helped me deal with the PTSD from that experience. Usually I ask people before I tell them what it is then let them smell what its a dupon of and ask, "How do you like this perfume?" My easy going and polite and easy to make happy with any dupe/nice/niche/designer/perfume house/celeb/body lotion perfume you got on, yet ruthlessly witty, husband said, "It smells like what I imagine Billy Bob in Bad Santa smelled like. No offense if you like - wait, WHY?!" as if I had threatened him 😂 and he needed to know what he'd just inhaled as if it was dangerous. Some are less descriptive but NOT ONE has said, "this smells good!" I always offer to give it to them too. Lol still cant get rid of it. So I keep Drunken Krampus around to demonstrate to everyone the power of the Lattafa sales/marketing team's evil genius - endless powers. Khamrah has been #1 on the Fragrantica board search for 3 years or so and they even conjured another called Drunk Krampus: "Coffee Sobriety" Myths. They pay ppl to pretend to like that one too, now 2 Drunken Krampus' are on the most searched boards! Bots, I pray! I didnt risk a second round with the German demon that comes on Christmas or when he gets too drunk to remember when that is if you've bought Lattafa that year. On the flip side if I ever run out of mace and Im attacked near the perfume shelf. God forbid, but if pushed to defending my very life Ill grab this chunk of hell, but Id hate to do that to another human. If I have the cold heart to do that, I know I could 100% send even the most hardened criminals, serial killing, cannibalistic, psychopaths running for their life and save my own with what Lattafa sent to my door. If only they spent more on the fragrance than on the garishly ridiculously ugly bottles they might churn something wearable out every now and then, or better yet, go into creating the next most terrifying chemical weapons and sell to the military. For all we know they probably do. Ive had flashbacks that have me screaming in my sleep from the Lattafas Ive risked a 20 and some change on because a covert op told me it was a perfume, for real this time! But, upon first spray of Liam, through the 80% alcohol/vol., I thought hmmm... this truly is unisex and something I MIGHT wear. I often get hit with a "burnt tires peeled out in this perfume" note. Not here. Sure I had to spray a lot and took a while for the shirt to dry to smell it since i couldnt smell anything upon first 3 to 5 sprays really, esp over the alcohol, and by the time it dried I could smell a dusty kinda woody slightly, ever sooo tiny, hint of vanillin. Very dry, not gourmand, sweetness/vanillin, I guess. My husband says it reminds him of a campfire. I said, well, after 27 months Ive had them improve, twice. Lattafa even did once! Once I tried Paris Corner and after 15 months the burnt rubber smell had finally blended away. Nothing about this to me is beast mode or strong or even moderate sits about 1ft tops from clothing nothing from the skin from the first 5 mins on and I guess I can see a dusty tea and wood and dry ever so sweet vanillin? Idk something give it a sweet impression. This is the 1st day though and everyone knows Lattafa fragrances need oxidization. If 8 months ago's batch date wasnt long enough to blend, well hopefully it will at least smell like something perhaps a bit more interesting next summer. I think its far more a unisex man though. I wanna smell feminine classy pretty. This is not that. This is like what I see the, "Im not like other guys" guys wearing. Which is not a bad thing from time to time - we like to switch it up. However if that "creamy, fig, cardamom tonka labdanum etc ever" ever hits, Ill edit if Im still alive by the time the Lattafa has had time to decide if it's going to kill me or spare me. BUT I say all this to say even though I had to spray it 20 times, and then shove my face into the clean t shirt, I DO NOT HATE IT AT ALL rn. I kinda, dare I say it, and jinx it, like it! BUT sillage is a practically nonexistent, but longevity? Upon first open? Its still lasting on that t shirt(!) which means its been about 7 hours and hasnt hit the plastic base note of all the others YET! WOW! It's linear for sure. Smells the same, still. Ill let it get some perfume jail time. See if it somehow gets ANY sillage whatsoever - yet if it doesnt? I could see my man wearing this to switch it up if it gets a bit more projection, just a tiny bit, so I give it to my husband. He likes a very subtle cologne but the problem with those is they have no lasting power, but now I have a teaspoon of hope for this one though since it actually does.🤞 right now? JUNE/2026: Longevity: 10/10 with 25 sprays Sillage: 1ft on clothing tops none on skin after 5 mins/10 Scent: 4.5/10. So overall, that means winner (or stealth weapon?) for a Lattafa! We will see next year if this one will make 2/6!
